An Amazing Journey with Honesty and Expression

by Michelle Borg, Mackay, Australia

I have been a student of Universal Medicine for a few years now. I had read parts of Serge Benhayon’s books and listened to his audios but for me it was after meeting Serge in person and being at this year’s Universal Medicine Retreat that something deep within me awakened. I felt complete harmony.

My life has changed for the better by choosing to be responsible. What was presented at the Retreat by Serge and the Universal Medicine team allowed me to truly feel how I was living and conducting myself from thoughts rather than expressing the truth and being honest with how I feel. Choosing to be completely honest with myself and honouring how I feel has opened up a way of living which I had never truly experienced before. I thought I was living the ‘good life’ but in fact was disillusioned.

For me it is simple; I chose to listen to what was being presented, which was so beautiful, and felt what had purpose for me. I now choose to live as loving, respectful and honest with myself as I possibly can. It has been an amazing journey!

Thank you Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine team for your constant love and support.

  1. Choosing to express and live the truth of who we are, ‘for this allows us to be aware of the bigger picture of life and the divine order that we are all part of.’

  2. What Serge Benhayon presents always makes sense, ‘I chose to listen to what was being presented, which was so beautiful, and felt what had purpose for me.’

  3. “Thank you Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine team for your constant love and support.” Gradually humanity will wake up to the all encompassing love on offer.

  4. Michelle the simplicity of your sharing is so powerful. A few key words, ‘responsible’ and ‘chose to listen,’ is something we all could take heed of. Both of these words require a level of responsibility and a level of responsibility in how you apply it, to your everyday life, is key to the rest of humanity.

Life has a purpose for us all and it is just connecting to what this offers and living it, to the fullest.

  5. “Thank you Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine team for your constant love and support.” That’s what I have experienced also, constant love and support. No matter what’s going on in my life there is no judgement, just a willingness to meet me in all that I truly am, and support me to let go of what gets in the way of my living that. My experience with Universal Medicine has been one of blessing after blessing, there’s no other way to describe it, and to see the miraculous changes in my life by accepting all that’s on offer, and applying it to my own life, is an ongoing amazing process.

  6. ‘Living and conducting myself from thoughts rather than expressing the truth and being honest with how I feel’ – this is a very accurate description of how most of us operate. We are not our thoughts yet we rely on our computation so much to figure things out, to come up with something, and to keep reaffirming the sense of “I”.

  7. So lovely what you can feel and what you have found within you and a way of living that is harmonious.

    1. We live so out of step with ourselves, we are so often in disconnection and disharmony, Coming back into harmony with myself has been a huge part of the support Universal Medicine has offered including learning to be open to how I truly feel and honouring this, being more honest with myself and what does or doesn’t support me, and by listening to and respecting my body.

    2. Yes, thanks to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, ‘Thank you Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine team for your constant love and support.’

  8. Bring open to honesty and feeling to truth is actually a beautiful surrender to our innate way of being at one with who we naturally are, allowing us to address, heal and let go of what is in the way of us deepening in our love.

  9. The first person we need to be honest with is ourselves. We can blame, shame and deflect but essentially taking a step back and considering the quality of Love we bring to our lives is an opportunity for an honest conversation that will change our life.

  10. No matter what and in the face of such adversity Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine team is there to show the world constant love and support. It is then up to all of us as individuals whether we choose this for ourselves or not. History repeating itself all over again. My question is, how many World Teachers will it take to live among us before we get the message that there is only one way and that is to love ourselves and each other as we are all inter-connected to each other.

    1. The consistency and the commitment to Love is completely unwavering. There comes a point where that needs to be paid attention to because the world is a pretty ugly and lost place without Love, Kindness, Tenderness, Respect and Honesty.

  11. Being in Serge Benhayon’s presence dissolves any picture about him. Feeling the truth of whom he is and what he brings, is really transformative..

  12. A beautiful recipe for all of us: Choosing to be completely honest with yourself and honouring how you feel. The world would be a different place if all of us would apply this.

  13. My movements also seem to be having an effect on what I hear. For example, I can listen to the same audio and hear different things each time. I thought it was my imagination and that Serge was delivering different information, but when I listen to a recording I hear it different ways depending on how I feel in my body! Again, well worth the experiment because it makes me far more responsible for the way I live my life.

  14. I love that simplicity. You choose to listen, you actually again choose to hear and then work out what you want to bring into your life. I am certain that by working this way I have figured out that the ‘choice’ I think I have is offered from a selection that is determined by the way I have lived to that point and how much of a vested interest I have in maintaining that way of living. When I move more at ease in my body, my supposed choices and what I hear change. This is still an experiment, but there is no question for me so far, that the way I move has an effect on my perception of the choices I believe are available to me.

    1. What a great experiment, to see if the way I move has an effect on my perception of the choices I believe are available to me. ‘I have figured out that the ‘choice’ I think I have is offered from a selection that is determined by the way I have lived to that point and how much of a vested interest I have in maintaining that way of living.’

  15. So simple yet so gorgeous. What I got from reading your blog, which I haven’t felt as clearly up to now, is that honesty brings it back to the body. We cannot be in the head/mind with honesty!

  16. When we are honest, the bag of lies drenched on our shoulders lifts off. As it lifts off we can walk with a spring in our step, enjoy the life we are living and have a completely different perception of the world.

  17. Being honest with ourselves is amazingly healing and life changing, because those blinkers come off, we see more clearly and from this clarity, more able to make more loving choices – which the body appreciates.

  18. I feel this is the same for many of us, in that we think or feel we are doing ‘okay’ but are we truly willing to be COMPLETELY honest with ourselves to see what needs to be exposed, changed and healed within us .. this goes with behaviours/habits (even the really subtle ones we choose to ignore), beliefs, ideals, thoughts, reactions. The truly beautiful thing about Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine is they do lovingly expose this and they can, because they live what they present ‘the Retreat by Serge and the Universal Medicine team allowed me to truly feel how I was living and conducting myself from thoughts rather than expressing the truth and being honest with how I feel.’ and do this because they genuinely care and want to see people being and living all that they are.

  19. You have hit on a key component there – honesty. We can have ‘versions’ of the truth which don’t challenge the comfort we live in, yet with the ‘versions’ the tension persists. When we are honest with ourselves we find an ease in our bodies and a clarity about what our next steps are.

  20. Yes, thank you. The consistency we are met with through every interaction shows me this is something that meets the test of time. I know what I feel and it is full of love, deep care for humanity and has a foundation of self-responsibility through self-care, honesty and consistency. What an opportunity to see our purpose on this planet for something greater than self and self indulgence.

    1. The Living-ness of The Students of The Livingness is a great reflection of how we can all be on that same page. And share by simple reflection and by how we move that we can all be free of life’s addictions that have capped our essences.

  21. Ultimately, we are always responsible for our lives. So, if we are, what does choosing to be responsible means? It means, becoming aware that what happens to us is our responsibility; that we can take our lives into the next level if we so decide and act in a way to support this and, that since we all belong together we have a role to play to help others to bring their lives into the next level as well.

  22. An Amazing Journey with Honesty and Expression T.A.U.M.
“I thought I was living the ‘good life’ but in fact was disillusioned.” – We can all fall for the subjective interpretation of what ‘good’ is in our lives and end up settling for way less than we are designed to be. But Universal Medicine has provided a perspective for humanity that shows that we all have a depth of love, harmony, joy and stillness that is limitless to tap into when we are open and honest as Michelle describes in this blog.

    1. It is like being “right” inevitably it leads to there being a wrong, and this is the same when we thinketh without the usual feeling from our body then “reactions” are likely to ensue, but a Loving response with all our body feels True.

  23. The Universal Medicine Retreats are something that I always looked forward to as they always bring a different flavour to how life and love come together.

  24. ‘My life has changed for the better by choosing to be responsible.’ Yes, this is probably the most life-changing choice we can have..

    1. That, and choosing to be love, and ‘ Choosing to be completely honest with myself and honouring how I feel has opened up a way of living which I had never truly experienced before.’

  25. Choosing responsibility, being as loving as we can to ourselves definitely changes the way that we live, and at the same time offers an opportunity to others too.

  26. “Choosing to be completely honest with myself and honouring how I feel” – this is an amazing journey of constant unfolding, very different from trying to make things work according to a picture of ideals.

  27. When we choose to live in a way that is loving, respectful and honest with ourselves it has a ripple effect on not only the rest of our daily life but for everyone else around us.

  28. Life is so different when lived from the awareness that what we do matters – every detail is precious, never boring or tedious but a discovery and expansion way beyond any concept of what it used to mean to ‘live a good life’.

  29. Simple and so real Michelle. Meeting Serge Benhayon has changed my life forever, from one of anxiety, constant nervous energy, overwhelm, comparison, self abuse etc. to one that I love nothing more then to keep unraveling what is not true and love in my life and living more of who I am, who we all are without perfection.

  30. It’s funny how we can avoid being responsible for our lives – I know I avoided it for many years and of course my life ended up quite complicated and I felt drained as a result. Learning to be more responsible isn’t as scary as I thought, in fact it was life changing for me as well, and as I committed to my life and taken more responsibility, it is beautiful to feel the rewards that come with this choice such as greater energy levels, more power, simplicity and of course more love.

  31. Every time I replay any of Serge Benhayon’s audio I always hear a new message and it’s always appropriate for where I am in my life. There is a depth of honesty that has never before been presented to me that enables me to be me – love it.

  32. The ‘good life’ is more often than not a kind of bubble existence that relies heavily on all sorts of numbing devices, from gaming to sports, from drinking to the ongoing use of over-the-counter medicine, from entertainment to hobbies. We only notice that something is amiss when they get taken away and we are faced with ourselves – and what then?

  33. It is a great gift to learn that life is forever offering us loving opportunities to expand and evolve and that it is up to us to choose to observe with honesty, learn and heal what is required, and allow ourselves to naturally deepen our expression of the love, harmony and wisdom from within.

I have woken. up today with an ache in my back and I am able to witness how this is directly related to the choices I made yesterday to push through because I did not want to look like I had not done my part. And I can also take it further back to the days leading up to yesterday because I had not prepared properly knowing yesterday was going to be a long day. Not that long ago before Universal Medicine I would wake up with an ache or some other issue and would just look at a way of erasing the symptom, not realising what a powerful learning there lay in that moment.

  34. Being open to be honest with ourselves can be painful at times but this can be only for a moment as we can feel the healing and and expansion honesty offers on its way to truth.

  35. How beautiful it is when we get truly and deeply honest with ourselves.

  36. To hear about something and then to see it for yourself in person is and makes a huge difference. When you can watch someone in action in many ways it certainly says a lot to you.I remember growing up the impact this had as well, you more watched what others did rather then listened to what they say. As the saying goes, ‘actions speak louder then words’. Over and over again this has proven itself to be true and it’s not that you disregard what is said to you but there is more being said to you by movement then by words alone. I also remember watching Serge Benhayon in this way, you could see the difference and time and time again I was touched by the care and detail he offered everything and every movement.

    1. YES!!! me too, the detail was extraordinary and not just about what he was doing but how he was doing it. It was not for us (or whoever was watching) at all, rather, it was his natural way of living and it meant the person who saw it felt an ease in their body.

  37. For me, meeting Serge Benhayon in person was the clincher; the solid vibration that I felt in his movements and his universal eyes reminded me of who I really am and why we are here. I remembered feeling like I had been woken up from a daze or a fog, everything from that moment on made sense, I knew what I needed to do and that was to bring all of me to everyone and stop hiding my light away for a rainy day.

  38. I can relate to this feeling of ‘living the good life’ only to find that it was not the life I thought it was. This happens all the time for as soon as I think everything is sorted, another wave of disillusionment follows, reminding me that we are not of this world and that in fact we are made of something far greater than what this place can offer, our souls are knocking at the door wanting to pull us back to where we came, and the more this can be seen and felt the greater our journey will be together.

  39. It’s incredibly easy to go through life and keep pretending everything is good and everything is ok and never really scratch the surface on honesty. It’s so liberating and freeing of all the beliefs and pictures we have to simply be honest and say this is where I’m at. It’s also a great platform to know your next step – because if you’re not honest about where you’re at now – how can you know what your next step needs to be?

  40. The truth is that we cannot underestimate the power that is waiting to unfold through us when we choose to deepen our relationship with honesty. As we are continually evolving as such we are continually needing to bring deeper levels of honesty to the way we are choosing to live, in order for us to keep moving in connection to the greater levels of truth we come to know and feel.

  41. Living the ‘good life’ doesn’t cut it when we make life about purpose and that how we live affects everyone else. We can, however, live incredibly rich, loving and joyful lives when we make life about responsibility and evolution.

  42. A beautiful reflection to all those around you Michelle. ‘Less is more’ the less we distract and busy ourselves with distractions, doings, possessions, thoughts and seeking recognition for what we do, the more we find the joy, harmony, truth, stillness and love within that reconnects us to who we truly are.

  43. No-one in their right mind could argue with this Michelle – and that our world is in desperate need of those who are so willing to live with responsibility and honesty as to what is truly going on for us.
    Awesomely said.

  44. I have attended a few retreats by Universal Medicine. They have been incredibly supportive for me too, my expression has improved immensely. I used to shy away from expressing how I feel in a large group but now when I feel there is something to share, I do it without being nervous and without feeling not good enough. I have learnt to express truth clearly and confidently.

  45. I love this Michelle, very simply and sincerely expressed, and your approach with what was presented is so supportive, listen and feel in what was presented has purpose for us and then live that in your way in your life, in other words you made it yours. Thank you for saying it as you have, it shines a light on how we make changes in a way that truly supports and I can see how when I’ve approached the wisdom offered by Universal Medicine in this way it’s changed my life.

  46. This is beautiful Michelle, it’s so simple – listen and feel. I feel a lightness by just reading this….because there are no shoulds or have too’s.

  47. It is so simple isn’t it. We choose to listen, then we choose to put this into action, or not. The beauty and simplicity of Free-Will.

  48. Such a beautiful and humble sharing, bringing it back to the simplicity of life. Starting with taking true responsibility, that is what also supported me. Once I got an understanding of true responsibility and started to work on myself thats when my life truly started to changed.

  49. Responsibility is a big one and the answer to all our woes I guess – and that responsibility also includes us realising how beautiful we really are and that we deserve everything we think we might not deserve. And I’m not necessarily talking about assets here even though that is not necessarily excluded.

  50. A commitment to honesty is what builds a true relationship with self. It is truly gorgeous and worth the work, peeling off the layers of protection, and connect back to our inner heart.

  51. Thanks Michelle for your honest and open sharing of your personal journey with Universal Medicine and the powerful changes you have made in your life.

  52. The annual retreats are an incredible opportunity to make space for contemplation in our lives. To reset the ‘normal’ barometer and lay new foundations. Thank you for sharing!

  53. I now understand what responsibility means, it is not at all burdensome, heavy or full of restrictions, its true meaning is super empowering. Once I understood and decided to embrace responsibility, my whole life changed to being so much more loving and honest. Choosing to take responsibility is the best thing I have chosen. I find it hugely supportive, everything makes sense, no more blaming others, or my environment for what happens to me but understanding my part in everything and how I can contribute to life by taking full responsibility, feels very empowering on every level.

  54. This blog makes me feel like I could write a blog, it’s so short and simply yet completely endearing and totally inspiring. After I finished reading your article I was compelled to let go of all of my muscles and realized that I had been tight in my arms, my body and just got honest and still, thank you.

  55. We live is a world that champions thinking over feeling but we feel so much that it doesn’t make sense to simply ignore it. Ignoring or dismissing what we truly feel doesn’t really seem very intelligent to me and is in my experience negating a wonderful source of wisdom. Reconnecting with the body and ‘listening’ to its expression is like starting life all over again – with all our senses tuned in.

  56. It’s so simple taking responsibility for our lives and yet we live, act and relate to life and responsibility in every other way that is the complete opposite of simple. But no matter how complicated life can get it feels like there is a simplicity within my body that states that this complexity is not truly getting me anywhere or of any true success. Being successful comes from when I keep things simple, thank you for this reminder Michelle.

  57. I love the simplicity of what you have written, ‘choosing to be completely honest with myself and honouring with how I feel’, serge has presented this truth time and time again and it is so relevant today as it was the first time he presented it.

  58. Your simple humble sharing is so true for many of u who have attended retracts and other Universal Medicine events Michelle. The unloaded uncomplicated simplicity of truth is pure love.

  59. When we live and are fully responsible for all that happens in our lives it awakens our awareness to an integrity and understanding that takes the factor of blame out of life. This in turn empowers us with the realisation that all that happens in our lives we play a leading role in, and because of this fact we always have the opportunity to change the trajectory of it and turn it around.

  60. So beautiful to read Michael, i also am experiencing the beauty of being honest, and the simplicity and joy it brings, with a deepening trust in myself and others.

  61. Why life the ‘good life’ when we can live one that is true? Your blog is testimony to the benefits we reap when we do not forsake truth for comfort. Thank you Michelle.

    1. And when we forsake truth for comfort, it actually doesn’t feel very comfortable at all, because the more we seek comfort the more tension builds within our body. Our body is naturally built to align to truth and to choose to live against the flow of truth, our natural flow and rhythm of life creates huge tension. To not feel the discomfort we tend to cover this up with more comfort by ignoring truth. Taking responsibility for our choices and embracing truth supports us to put a stop to this vicious cycle of falseness and emptiness.

  62. Thankyou Michelle, I have also found the presentations and retreats of Universal Medicine profoundly life changing. I am also learning to honour how I feel and not let my thoughts, particularly beliefs and ideals, lead my life. What I particularly like is how much respect I now have for my body as opposed to overriding it’s signals with knowledge, I really trust the wisdom of my body and go with how I truly feel. As a result I am feeling healthier than ever before. It’s a true Godsend to find Universal Medicine.

  63. Your appreciation is a pleasure to read and echoes my initial feelings on meeting Serge Benhayon and listening to the presentations. When you allow yourself to listen deeply and feel the truth within, you can’t not but be inspired to transform your life through loving choices and live the beauty of what is presented. A truly gorgeous experience and journey to embrace.

  64. Thank you Michelle for sharing so simply your experience, when we make the choice to be responsible, we can, by choosing to be love and bring love into all our ways, live life with joy.

  65. A short and sweet summary of the two ways life can be lived, one from our thoughts and perceptions and images of how we and the world should be. The other from how we feel which is far deeper and richer than any thought or image can portray. Thank you Michelle.

  66. An awesome blog thank you Michelle, I used to avoid responsibility in my life, this all changed after meeting Serge Benhayon as well, I was deeply inspired to become more responsible and commit to my life more. These choices have changed my life in many beautiful ways.

  67. This is beautifully said Michelle. The Livingness is simple. Being loving and taking responsibility for all our choices is simple.

  68. Beautiful what you have shared Michelle, before I started to be a student of Universal Medicine, my life was an empty existence and I had little or no regard or true care for myself just getting by and escaping from life and people. The change that’s happened in only a few short years, is outstanding I am returning to the gentle amazing man I always was, and committing to life more and more everyday

  69. Very awesome to hear how things have changed for you Michelle, I also have found that the more responsible I am in all area’s of my life the more my life is changing for the better, rather than escaping from life I start more and more to embrace life and become responsible for my important part of life and the whole. Living example from Serge Benhayon and the students of Universal Medicine constantly shows this; in the way they conduct themselves and apply themselves to everything they do.

  70. To be honest can be frightening at first but is one of the first steps towards liberating ourselves from all the lies we have told ourselves we need to be. Honesty gives us the awareness to see our lives for how they really are and from there we have the best opportunity to make lasting and worthwhile changes in our lives.

  71. “Choosing to be completely honest with myself and honouring how I feel has opened up a way of living which I had never truly experienced before.” Inspired by Serge Benhayon, so many of us have made different life choices – with amazing consequences. One day this way of living will be ‘normal’ for everyone.

  72. So much felt in so few words. Serge Benhayon introduced me to being responsible for myself before being busy trying to be responsible for everyone and everything else. I have been having fun discovering who I truly am.

  73. Thank you Michelle. I remember my first experience of Serge Benhayon very clearly and could feel the absolute truth in all that he spoke and it felt wonderful to come back to understanding the true purpose in life – to connect back to who we truly and innately are.

    1. Well said Felix, it feels that the main cause of being un-well or sick in my own life is through not expressing truth-fully or not expressing at all! It seems or appears that by holding back who I am and not letting others see it, the expression ‘goes stale or bad in my body’, and inevitably I get sick. I am learning to express more and more and the more I express and communicate with others the stronger I am in my body and my health improves.

  74. “I was living and conducting myself from thoughts rather than expressing the truth and being honest with how I feel” – I have lived like that too. And all I got was complexity, and I was mastering that craft pretty well. But like you, the beauty of simplicity crushed it all.

  75. Thank you Michelle for your simple and beautiful sharing of your journey with honesty and expression. Universal Medicine supports us all equally to take responsibility and make choices in our lives that are loving and true.

  76. As you say Michelle It’s simple, and as Serge Benhayon presents, when we simply choose truth and live love in all we are and all we do we open the way for miraculous things happen.

  77. Michael I complete agree, once you meet Serge Benhayon, and if you are able to be part of the retreat you will have an amazing experience which is life changing. I too can say what I have learnt is “Choosing to be completely honest with myself and honouring how I feel has opened up a way of living which I had never truly experienced before. I thought I was living the ‘good life’ but in fact was disillusioned.” Meeting Serge and Universal Medicine made me realised I was not really living I was just existing, now I can truly say I have begun to live a joyful life.

    1. I agree Amita, I was kidding myself I was living the good life, with all the freedom and solitude I wanted, but in fact there was nothing good about it, I was escaping from life and people, avoiding the hurts I buried and was running away from. In such a short time of having met and studied with Serge Benhayon and the wonder-full practitioners of Universal Medicine I have managed to turn my life around, and embrace myself and others with love, care, commitment and responsibility.

  78. I find it humbling as you, I and hundreds of others have now walked the path you have described to re-discovery of who we have always been… all because somewhere we lost our true self. I feel so right to be back home to where I truly belong.

  79. Thanks Michelle for detailing your experience with Uni Med, as you have stated coming into contact with Serge is definitely a life changing experience

  80. Beautiful Michelle. “How I was living and conducting myself from thoughts rather than expressing the truth and being honest with how I feel.” Profound point. Often our thoughts run rampant with all these things, yet if we listened to how we were feeling our life would be completely different and we would choose so many different things.

    1. ‘if we listened to how we were feeling our life would be completely different and we would choose so many different things’. I absolutely agree Emily, how different life would look and feel. Thanks to Serge Benhayon, his family and Universal Medicine and to us for making different choices, ‘listening to how we are feeling our life’ is becoming our day to day.

  81. The Universal Medicine Retreats are life changing. It is as if we wake up to what is truly going on and have the opportunity to align to that truth or not. Our lives then have the possibility of becoming less complicated and more joyful if we choose to let go of what we are holding on to that hinders this.

    1. Elainearthey, I too have had life changing experiences after Universal Medicine retreats, truly amazing. You cannot describe what can shift, heal or transform, when the willingness is there to feel and behold, miracles can occur.

    2. Beautifully expressed Elaine, “Our lives then have the possibility of becoming less complicated and more joyful if we choose to let go of what we are holding on to that hinders this.” The complexity we create brings such misery to our life’s, when we connect deeply to ourselves and the purpose of what we are here for, which is to return to the love we are and live that for ourselves and how we are with others, life has a simplicity and joy is felt.

    3. Absolutely elainearthey, that’s exactly what comes to mind ‘life changing.’ The retreats are profound in their depth and wisdom. They provide a space where we can learn and grow with the purpose of taking what we learn, into our day to day lives, if we so choose. My experience has been one of increased awareness of how my behaviour affects others since attending the retreat in 2015.

  82. There is something special here about Universal Medicine that when applied into our lives so many things can and do change. Four years on now I feel like a completely different person but I now know that is due to for years actually living as a different person (or at the time more like a ‘thing’ as that is how I regarded myself) rather than who I truly am. Even now I know that there is still more to be uncovered but rather than looking at life as something to dread I look forward with a lightness and enthusiasm at what is yet to be unfolded. All through my choices to apply what has been shared and what continues to be shared through the work of Universal Medicine.

  83. “Honesty, Expression and Responsibility “ – three words that have the power to change your life, as you Michelle, and I and many others have discovered. On meeting Serge Benhayon for the first time I experienced exactly what you did, and from taking responsibility for my life and my health, I have gone from living in complication and struggle, to a life of simplicity and joy. Thank you for your beautiful sharing Michelle.

  84. When we make the choice to make love an integral part of our days, we start truly living.

    1. Absolutely agree Zofia, only then we start truly living, anything else is a comfortable existence, but nothing compared to a life of love and truth!!!

  85. Michelle thank you for the simplicity of what you have embraced from the Serge Benhayon and the teachings of Universal Medicine.

  86. A really simple and humble sharing Michelle of your experience of attending Universal Medicine events and meeting Serge Benhayon. I agree, it really is life changing when we resonate with any part of what is presented at the Universal Medicine events and choose to incorporate that into our own lives.

  87. What a beautiful, heartfelt blog Michelle that so gorgeously sums up a way of living that we can all choose, and that is to live from our inner heart. The retreats offer us the insight of what choosing to live our life in this way truly feels like. They are such an amazing support.

  88. I love the retreats too Michelle. I think because it’s a completely different way of living and we get to experience it over a longer period of time we feel the difference that living from ourselves can make.

  89. Isn’t it amazing Michelle, how being responsible can bring about some amazing changes in our lives – I for one used to think that a lack of responsibility was more enjoyable, but the fun I got from having irresponsible moments were pretty short lived! I’m still learning to bring more honesty, responsibility and love into my life, and it is a never ending and ever deepening journey that brings far more joy than ever before.

  90. Ahhhh Michelle – such a sweet post. I have been giving myself a daily dose of honesty based on what I feel recently and it is sooo refreshing. I feel much more free, especially over my heart which feels less constricted and open and I feel more confident. Every time I give myself permission to be honest I understand much more about myself, who I am and what I stand for.

  91. Simply beautiful Michelle, when we take responsibility and begin to live a life with truth and love – the changes are indeed amazing!

  92. Michelle thanks for sharing your beautiful experience at the Retreat. I have only been to one but it was an inspiring and truly loving experience. The wonderful heart connection with the other students was lovely. The Presentations by Serge Benhayon and others are truly Life changing.

  93. Thank you for sharing your experience Michelle. I attended my first retreat this year at Lennox Heads. I felt harmony, love and joy like I have never felt before. I was amazed at the level of trust, honesty and support I received from everyone. It felt like the entire 300 plus participants and presenters were all my family members. The love and joy I felt was like being part of this huge family that extended out to people who I didn’t get a chance to meet one on one in the group, it was incredible, I felt we were deeply connected as one big family. I also learnt from my experience another level of responsibility, ways to love and care for myself and walking in the path of truth and love is definitely possible.

  94. Responsibility for everything we choose in life is truly profound. My life has changed for the better with greater opportunities available to me.

  95. Thank you Michelle , It is truly amazing when we choose to be responsible for our choices how our life can turn around from a struggle to a joy.

  96. It is gorgeous testament to your commitment to living a true life, that when presented with the reality of the illusion of which you realized you were living, you did not settle in the comfort of a good life but stepped into choosing a life of honesty and responsibility. Awesome and inspiring to read.

  97. Thank you Michelle. It will be great to hear more from your journey. There is so much that happens from when you first find that connection again. When that desperation of “help me” changes to purpose – How can I stay connected all day.. Having instant awareness the challenge is that everything can go deeper.
Before I had no spark, now I have so much to appreciate in my life – it’s a constant celebration of sparks.

  98. Michelle, I can relate to living from the mind as it has been my default setting for a long time. Since listening to Serge Benhayon, attending Universal Medicine presentations and attending sessions with esoteric practitioners I am steadily building a relationship with my body as I approach my life with more honesty and responsibility.

    1. I too have been predominately been living from my mind. My thoughts were pretty wild, driving fear and restriction to my life. Now by learning to connect to my body and who I am as a women, I am able to arrest those thoughts and choosing to live in a more loving way. Discarding things that no longer support me and working on the areas that I have neglected for years that are now more loving and supportive to connecting me to my essence.

  99. ” living and conducting myself from thoughts rather than expressing the truth and being honest with how I feel”, I to have been making this transition recently, it does change everything. Thank you for sharing your experience Michelle.

    1. Yes that’s a well said quote… I notice myself slipping into this and it’s not a great feeling. Being honest about how I feel is so refreshing, even though sometimes it means admitting this I may not be totally comfortable admitting but afterwards, I feel so much lighter in my body and mind and it’s well worth it.

  100. Hi Michelle, Thank you for sharing so clearly and simply how Universal Medicine has inspired you to change your life.

  101. Thank you Michelle. It’s amazing how bringing in more honesty and responsibility into our lives actually makes it more and more simple.

  102. Beautifully said Michelle. Taking responsibility for my words, thoughts and actions has been key to making changes in my life too. It sounds so simple when written in a sentence but in truth commitment is required to drop comfortable habits that make life apparently easier, but which serve no one, least of all myself, in the long term.

  103. I’m with you Michelle. It’s so interesting to feel the difference it makes when you become or start to take responsibility for yourself. The realisation that nothing actually ‘happens’ to you and that it’s actually just a result of choices you make is actually quite profound.

  104. Thank you Michele, this sharing contains so much of the simple but truly divine inspirations, which are presented by Serge Benhayon. This has been heavenly to read.

  105. The word that I see here that has been crucial for me also is responsibility. I am only just beginning to get a sense of how much of my whole life and existence this entails, when considering how I live and the choices I make and how this effects others.

  106. Choosing to be responsible can often be both uncomfortable and challenging but nonetheless vital for our evolution as human beings. Thankyou Michelle, this was a great article highlighting this fact.

  107. To feel the responsibility to be honest and the impact it has on everybody around me, when I am not, was a big revelation. Cyber bullying is one of the examples that show, how harming dishonesty can be with an impact on people all over the world. The most revealing truth, that I learned to connect to with Universal Medicine: Before all, I am Love.

  108. Its amazing what differences occur when we start bringing resposibility into our lives. It can seem a bit scary, a burden or hard work, but infact it is very freeing, empowering and I’m sure most will agree or see that it allows huge change.

  109. Lovely Michelle I absolutely agree it is indeed simple. Your wrote: “I chose to listen to what was being presented, which was so beautiful, and felt what had purpose for me. I now choose to live as loving, respectful and honest with myself as I possibly can.” Perhaps it is this simpleness what made the press react in this awful way – simplicity is not something what is accepted in full.

  110. Lovely Michelle, ‘I now choose to live as loving, respectful and honest with myself as I possibly can’, great to read about your experience, I feel the same and am enjoying deepening this way of living with love, respect and honesty, having been inspired by Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon.

  111. Thank you Michelle for sharing your story and showing how when we take responsibility for our lives and make different choices, how amazing our lives can be.

  112. The biggest shift and change in my life as you have beautifully shared is the commitment to taking responsibility for our own life. This was revelatory for me and a complete game changer as I am no longer the victim of circumstance but know that my life and how it plays out is down to the choices I make. Hugely freeing and empowering.

    1. When I began to commit to taking responsibility for my own life everything changed for me too, I no longer felt a victim but empowered to make my own choices, knowing no matter what I choose, my life will be a grand sum of these choices.

  113. Thank you Michelle. It is such an amazing journey. To choose to live life in a way that you never imagined was possible. This has certainly been the case for me making simple loving choices that are without doubt, life changing.

  114. “I thought I was living the ‘good life’ but in fact was disillusioned.” This sentence really resonates with me. I too thought I was living the ‘good life’ and on the surface I was. It has been a transforming experience to feel into how I was really living and question the many lazily accepted ideals and beliefs I had gone along with. Taking responsibility to feel what is true for me and learning to be honest and claim and express what I know is a true way to live has rekindled a spark of adventure, as I continue to explore and connect to who I truly am.

  115. I love the simplicity and clarity of your message, Michelle. I can relate so well, having expressed from my thoughts for so long, and that when I did finally connect to my inner heart my whole body felt the difference. I can now feel that sense of being alive and vital, and harmonious.

  116. I too have found taking more responsibility for myself to actually be an enriching way of life.

  117. Michelle thank you, this line is very familiar to me “I thought I was living the ‘good life’ but in fact was disillusioned.” you are right also that before attending a Universal Medicine course I knew the word “Harmony” but I hadn’t felt it in reality.

  118. Thank you for the simplicity with which you share how choosing to live in an honest, loving and respectful way has transformed your life. A truly amazing journey.

  119. Hi Michelle, thank you for sharing how Universal Medicine has inspired you to live in another way which was for the better. It’s inspiring to know it’s really very simple to make changes 🙂

  120. Michelle, love how you share that something deep within you was awakened at the Universal Medicine Retreat That you attended. I have also been a participant at these retreats and I have found that they provide an invaluable supportive space for us to reflect on our lifes choices and to gain clarity on how we live our life, all from an awakening that occurs deeply within us.

  121. Hi Michelle I love the simplicity and openness of your blog. It is amazing how much our lives can change by becoming responsible and making loving choices.

  122. Hi Michelle, your blog is so simple and so very open it is beautiful to read. I agree with all you have said about Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine presentations. Thank you

  123. It’s lovely to see people be so inspired by taking responsibility and being truly honest with themselves.

  124. Yes, Michelle, for me, Unimed retreats have been great at creating the most wonderful space for us to re-learn the art of communication – to truly listen as well as to be heard and to never leave another feeling lesser for if we did, there would be less of us too.

  125. Thank you for sharing so clearly and simply Michelle. You express beautifully how lovely life can be when we take responsibility for our choices and how we are living.

  126. Beautifully expressed and I too have chosen to be more responsible in how I live my life, how I am with myself and others. The changes from this one choice are absolutely amazing.
