Life’s Classroom

by Chrissy, NSW, Australia

… A little flashback to when I first stepped into a room at Universal Medicine… a little awkward in myself, shoulders rounded, eyes averting a confident gaze, a little defensive even… Sidney Poitier’s students in “To Sir, With Love” for some reason come to mind…

… And now, and slowly over time and still ongoing, as a result of what I have chosen and allowed for myself… I am in a Universal Classroom with “To Serge, With Love” (I know, can’t help myself… gotta be playful)…

… And what a classroom this is…

  • Where the students enter freely and the energy seems strangely familiar,
  • Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us,
  • Where the subject matter is brought by us and includes us all,
  • Where the format is often playful, and never divisive,
  • Where there is always an invitation to share and an opportunity to reflect, if we so choose,
  • Where the only material we bring is the ‘baggage’ we all come attached to, and carry with us,
  • Where one voice is heard by many hearts,
  • Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both,
  • Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart,
  • Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…

  1. “Where the format is often playful, and never divisive,” Brilliant. The truth doesn’t have to be serious, and we can enjoy evolving and returning to soul without it being a heavy or arduous process, especially in the era we are in now and the different energy. Division is so common, but it’s actually unity that settles us, being in harmony and brotherhood – which as you share begins with a full connection to our true selves and no division away from our soul.

  2. Rediscovering who we truly are brings a settlement and responsibility to live this truth.

  3. It has been a blessing to learn that life is full of lessons. It can be very tense and miserable living as if I arrogantly know it all or have some illusion of perfection. Thus rejecting the lessons before me. It’s much more humbling to be a student of life.

  4. People with confidence can seem very intimidating for people without confidence but the truth is, if it is true confidence then it holds everyone as equal not one better than the other, therefore the person who is withdrawing and holding themselves less is the person who does not have confidence. We are masters of flipping the responsibility and blaming another for having confidence. Spoken from a body and from a well worn path!!

  5. Actually what I am noticing more and more is that we are all teachers/students. We all have a slightly different aspect of the same topic of conversation and it shows me that we all need each other and one is not more important than another. This is a huge teaching as I have not come across this anywhere else. Certainly not in the corporate world where there is a very strict pecking order or hierarchy even though the management will tell you otherwise.

  6. “Where one voice is heard by many hearts” A beautiful line Chrissy, it reminds me that we all come from the same source and if we align to Soul we bring the one love and truth

  7. ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us,’ – to me the ultimate expression of equality within learning and a classroom I definitely want to be in!

  8. This school is about living and is living. When we see this school separate and away from life, then we reduce it to the usual confinement where being right, playing roles, achieving targets etc. comes enacted.

  9. As corny as it sounds life is meant to be our constant classroom. Each and every environment, each and every interaction, every relationship, indeed every moment is an opportunity to learn, to deepen, to experience, to gain understanding and increase our awareness. The fact that it’s not for so many of us is a reflection of the fact that we have a very blinkered view of life, one that we have conjured up out of what is not true.

  10. To walk into a classroom and not be imposed upon is huge, absolutely colossal because the intention of so many educational institutions is to load students up with information or more accurately to overload students up with information. And what this does is that it smothers the unlimited wisdom and knowledge that we all already have, making many of us feel inadequate, under-qualified and at times downright stupid. As you have so rightly said Chrissy, true education is about leading students back to the vastness that they already are.

  11. Chrissy the shortness of this blog does not in any way detract from the power of it’s truth, in fact if anything it actually adds to the power of it’s punch.

  12. The Universal Medicine student body is a very beautiful classroom, there’s humility, fun, honesty, vulnerability, people sharing all their beauty and people sharing their weaknesses and difficulties, each person unique yet all are committed to love.

    1. Very well said and true Melinda, it is a place where it is safe to express how one is feeling and not feel judged. To me it’s not about education as we have come to know education which crushes people. But an absolute knowing of who one is, where we come from and what is needed to get back to what is after all is our birth right.

  13. The “Universal Classroom” which Serge Benhayon has re-introduced to the world is the most amazing classroom I have ever been in. It is not a classroom that has set times and a set curriculum, but one I live in, in every moment. Nothing is expected of me, but I do have a responsibility for everything I do and everything I say, as does every other one of my ‘classmates’. This is one classroom that I would have loved to have been offered the key to as a child, as I know my life would have been very different if I had been.

    1. It is an opportunity to see how borderless responsibility is and to consider that learning is also borderless. I will be a student till the day I pass over and I love the fact that I will be taught by teachers of all ages and experiences. There is unlikely to ever be a dull day in that classroom!!

  14. A room full of equality and respect where every voice is heard. That sounds like my kind of classroom. I have been attending Universal Medicine’s presentations, workshops and courses for over 12 years. It is indeed a very beautifull space to learn and grow in.

  15. Chrissy, I love the equality of this; ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us,’

  16. How major is it to feel that Serge Benhayon is standing with us as an equal and never looks down on anyone? This is a foundation for us all to understand, as it does away with any judgement of another!

  17. Every time i read “where one voice is heard by many hearts” my heart melts because it’s true.

  18. I am so grateful to be in Life’s Classroom where we all learn and grow from the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom, reminding us that this wisdom already resides within us.

  19. Love the fact we don’t need to bring big amounts of homework and books to the class…just US and the baggage we bring is more than enough. It makes sense, because everything is already within.

  20. Beautiful Chrissy, your sharing reminds me how the presentations from Universal Medicine used to be for me as well. It is never serious, mysterious or separative, but inclusive very open and playful. Every time that I attend a class like this my heart opens and expands, it’s definitely a very supportive and life-changing experience every time.

    1. What better way to learn than with an open heart, ‘Every time that I attend a class like this my heart opens and expands’.

  21. That is exactly how the room is at a Universal Medicine event … every time! You described this perfectly. I wonder if these bullet points were given to cities, towns, young people, old people, schools etc., would they see this as dangerous or inspiring? Inspiring I think ✨

  22. And that’s how it can be, if we live connected to that essence which resides in all of us, we live us in the world and it’s our only job; everything else comes from that foundation.

    1. Yes, imagine if we all knew that right from the start – our only job in life is to live from our essence, life would be very different. Instead we are told we have to mould ourselves to be what ‘society’ deem is acceptable and therefore de-value some absolute gems who don’t fit the mould.

  23. True Life education. One such stand out (from many) for me was the retreat of a few years ago where we explored and exposed to the depth of what jealousy is and how it plays out in our lives. When in our everyday lives do we ever do this? or when in our everyday lives that discussion like this are really supported. Having an deeper understanding of this really does assist us to evolve as people and bring a greater understanding of what goes on for others.

    1. I love the sound of this classroom and I am already in one, Universal Medicine, one amazing classroom that I never thought would be possible to attend and now it is here open to everyone.

  24. The only home-work is to express more Love and be a reflection of that Love as an evolving student. And may the Joy of being so Loving be available to all equally.

  25. “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart,” SO true Chrissy. Where every event can be an opportunity to deepen our relationship with ourself, others and with our soul.

  26. Universal Medicine has set the standard for what a classroom can and should be like. Being held as equal, that we are all teachers and students at once, allows everyone to open up and express and explore forgotten territory.

  27. Chrissy, what you have written is brilliant lighthearted, but oh so true we all live in Life’s classroom. I particularly resonate to the fact that we are all carrying baggage from many lives which we are very attached to, but are actually causing us a lot of harm as the baggage is not who we truly are, yet it has become so familiar it is difficult to let go because what would life look like if we were to let go? From my own personal experience life gets to be very simple and less complicated and in this there is more space.

  28. ‘Universal classroom’ – I love that term; it really captures what Universal Medicine offers as well as what life actually is, hence it is time to be a student of one´s universal life and explore the wholeness of who we are.

  29. Beautiful words and love the classroom, I particularly loved your line “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart,” thank you.

  30. “… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” – that´s a crucial point, whatever the forces that intend to divide us, in the end it is us who give in to it and thus separate from the truth we know ourselves to be and thereby allow the forces to have the upper hand. Who then is actually in charge and holds the real power, he and she who give in to the imposition or the energy imposing on us? As unfair and overwhelming as it may be at times, it is up to us to learn how to deal with it by staying true to ourselves.

  31. This is absolutely so beautiful Chrissy. If ever you were going to sell The Way of The Livingness, this is it right here! The fact is you don’t need to sell it. It naturally inspires, as these words articulate.

  32. It’s an illusion to segment our lives into situations where we are open to learning and situations where we are not, and it’s impossible for anything to be ‘irrelevant’ because there’s always something to observe.

    1. Really appreciate what you share there, how there is never a moment where we can’t be observing ourselves and life and learning and how compartmentalising ‘learning’ into just certain areas of our life doesn’t make sense.

  33. True Doug, for if we don’t live what we learn and from this awareness learn to refine and commit to continually evolve the foundations of our everyday life we will always struggle.

  34. If we all considered life as a classroom in which we have the opportunity to learn and grow from every single experience we have, I have a feeling society as we know it would be completely different to the world we have presently created, as it would both heal and transform on so many levels.

  35. I would never have thought that such a classroom existed until coming to Universal Medicine with Serge presenting all that you have described above, it is heavens classroom here on earth, embracing all of humanity.

    1. Yes, and in that equality there is no one ‘better’ or ‘lesser’ for what they know or are aware of and all hold a responsibility for what we reflect and role model to one another…

  36. Universal Medicine presentations are like no other school room or class that I have ever been in. There is no knowledge to remember, simply a re-connection back to that which is already known within.

  37. There is so much we can learn from life if we are open to seeing it and Serge Benhayon certainly does inspire this as an incredibly wise and humble teacher and fellow student.

  38. I entered a Universal Medicine course, cynical, wary and protected and looking for fault. In the 10 or so years I have been returning to courses, I have not found fault. The consistency and care is incredible and I constantly feel I grow and become more of my potential through being there. A whole new relationship with being a student.

  39. Life is one big classroom and provides everything we could possibly need by way of reflection. Serge reminds us constantly that we already know how to navigate our way through life, it’s just that we allow ourselves to get pulled off track time and time again.

    1. Great observation, that we already know and allow ourselves to be swerved away from the truth we can live. And life has a way of offering us opportunities all the time to get back on track. Being open to being a student of life really enriches our experience.

  40. Life sure is one big lesson and being on my A game, I got myself along to one of Universal Medicine’s workshops and wow! this was a game changer for sure. I have been deeply inspired by the teachings, to pull back all the layers that we take on, but isn’t actually us. To connect to our absolute divine essence within and then watch and learn, when we choose not to connect to this. The lessons are tenfold and I am staring to embrace them day by day.

  41. The forever student understands that there is no end to the depth we can go and thus there is no ‘end point’ that must be reached in order to feel a sense of achievement, for each step we take on the path back home to our Soul, is imbued with all the magic of the ‘final destination’.

  42. I have never known a classroom like this in all of my life until I stepped into Universal Medicine. And these qualities you write of, inspire me to bring that with me everywhere I go.

  43. Thank you. It is a beautiful classroom when we choose to learn to co-exist. This is exactly what Universal Medicine supports us humanity with, in the school of The Way of The Livingness.

  44. The opportunity to resurrect, freely explore and deepen our connection to love, to our Soul and how our Soulfulness can be live through our lives is priceless, empowering, humbling and continually inspiring.

  45. I think there’s lots here that would truly support if brought into all our school classrooms and lecture theatres.

  46. I disliked being at school from an early age and I never waivered from my dislike at how damaging our education system is on our bodies. Coming across Serge Benhayon and Universal medicine was the best medicine for me and I love the teachings and presentations, because my body knows that what is being shared with us all, I actually do already know. It is just a matter of surrendering to the fact that my body naturally knows how to respond to every situation if I get myself out of the way. This to me is true education where we do not crush our bodies by letting our minds rule. After all what is the point in having a masters degree in any subject if we have wrecked our bodies to achieve it?

  47. Now this homework “to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom” would have not been left in my bag and put off until the last minute, and this classroom would have been one I would have looked forward to every day. I mightn’t have had the opportunity to enroll in this class when I was a school girl but I do have it today and so I am now enrolled until the end of this life and for all the others to come.

  48. No other school is actually our true school when it doesnt allow us to learn what we already know from inside , that is truth and love is who we are.

    1. Yes Danna so true. We do a massive disservice to our children, ourselves and humanity through keeping our children away from knowing the power and wisdom of the love they are within. As they are in fact our future, and the quality in which they learn and are fostered to live paves the way forth for developing the standards in which we all will be met with in the future.

  49. Life is a huge classroom of seven billion and counting. Our newborn babies have as much to share as our wise elderly and everyone in between. What a different world we would have if everyone lived appreciating the fact that every ‘other’ is a divinely placed teacher.

    1. Yes and there is no bunking off – whether we like it or not we are all blessed to be in this forever school.

  50. It is the best classroom I have ever been in and with life being the greatest teacher.

  51. We have to come to terms with the fact that true education has not happened in the context of the state sponsored/regulated/controlled educational system. The latter creates classrooms that teach us how to move in order to reproduce a specific class of life in which there is not much room for truth.

    1. That is a fair conclusion, one we need governments to be a lot more honest about so we can start to make true changes.

  52. Wow what a school, what I have learnt has been so incredible I often have to pinch myself.

  53. Universal Medicine is the best school in the world. It starts with the assumption each and every one of us is innately love.

  54. I love what you shared here Chrissy about how open and supportive Universal Medicine is in its approach to learning, and how life is a big classroom where our homework is to simply be our true loving selves in it without holding back, even though sometimes I feel like the dog ate my homework!

  55. This is a classroom where I give myself the homework, because I want to do it and I want to learn more and more.

  56. ‘Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…’ all the complications and wars and arguments come down to this simple truth!

  57. It’s my favourite classroom where getting A’s is easy – just be love.

  58. What it is to be student of life with Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine! I am consistently floored with the amount of Love and Wisdom this has brought to my life, and eternally grateful for the amazing learning of coming back to my true self..

  59. ‘Where the subject matter is brought by us and includes us all’ Serge Benhayon answers humanity’s call with all that he presents, we can ask questions and we get full answers, nothing is hidden and everything is known

  60. ” Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self… ”
This is so true ,we are only doing revision and when we live what we already know we are just confirming what is true.

  61. “Where one voice is heard by many hearts” – this sends shivers right up my spine all the way down to my left fingertips and toes. Reading it a can’t help but recognise the power we have within us to touch people in our surroundings in everything we do, when we speak from our heart the hearts of others get re-awakened and Serge Benhayon is a living proof of that.

  62. I love this – how it is true on so many levels. Walking into Universal Medicine workshops makes us realise that life itself is a classroom. Being a student is a full-time occupation and we are constantly being offered a learning and it is entirely up to us to take up and embrace. Accepting that I am a forever student has brought such simplicity and acceptance in the way I experience life.

  63. “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” we are the study and the reflection all in one, the only division is if we leave ourselves. I love what you have shared Chrissy, we are blessed to be students in heaven’s classroom in earth school.

  64. “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection” – true and where that homework is Heaven, notes from where we’re from.

  65. “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us” so true Chrissy, we are each other’s teachers, constantly offering reflection for each of us to discern and learn from.

  66. This divine classroom is my life, my fellow students are humanity, and the teachers are those who feel to share at any particular moment in time. The lessons are never boring and they are never without meaning, always easily applied to life. This classroom is never closed for weekends or evenings being always open to whoever is ready for the next lesson.

  67. Another consideration is – as children we know we are continuously learning and we have things we need to learn, maybe it’s to share or be caring or to put things away – why do we stop considering life is about always learning as adults?

  68. School is a great symbol of what we have on offer in life, what if life is one big incredible classroom, if we consider the whole world – we essentially have the biggest classroom ever. And there’s constant things in life that are not just a one off lesson but that we need to be working on, what your blog has really got me considering is am I doing my homework? What if my homework this week was to deeply look after myself? Have I explored every avenue and every detail?

  69. I love what you have expressed here so beautifully Chrissy. Reading your words has my heart skipping with joy. This point I love, as it is for everyone regardless of whether or not one has ever has the opportunity to be in a …”Universal Classroom with “To Serge, With Love” “. . and it is – “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart”.

  70. Every point made here made 5 years ago is still holds absolutely true, representing the truth of what Serge Benhayon, Universal Medicine, The Way of the Livingness offer is ageless, accessible to us all, because it is about us all. Thank you Chrissy, your wisdom shared is exquisite.

  71. Brilliant Chrissy, never, anywhere else does any homework given to anyone have the understanding that we already know it by the reflection in life’s big classroom. This homework is simply to be ourselves in full.

  72. “Where the subject matter is brought by us and includes us all” – This really defines true education, when a subject can be explained and taught in a way that is accurate, detailed and with authority, but relatable to everyone, the bigger picture and open for discussion/forever expanding on what’s already been founded.

  73. It’s the best classroom ever – you are given the space to feel you, to be you and from there you can make a true choice as to how you want to live.

  74. The feeling of the the whole room in ANY Universal Medicine event is one that is truly lovely, completely unimposing and where all are held equally. This should be how it is everywhere were go. I particularly like what you shared here ‘Where one voice is heard by many hearts’ and agree it is also a space where anyone can express what they feel and are listened to by many without judgement. It is a room where everyone is the student and anyone can be the teacher but Serge Benhayon, hands down wins the most AMAZING teacher … world teacher in mine and many others eyes.

  75. Every moment is an education, an opportunity to go deeper, and learn the true nature of who we are – or we can snooze through what is being presented and carry on as we are, repeating and recycling past behaviours. The only issue with this choice is the consequences are dire. Thank you Chrissy for this beautiful description of the universe’s University.

  76. ” Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us, ” I love this part and its so true of all universal medicine’s presentations. Thank you so much for sharing .

  77. A Universal School that I’ve discovered, wagging or having a sickie only means I’m holding back truth and love from myself and everyone else.

  78. Ah now that was a great confirmation of how The Way of The Livingness students are continually learning and deepening our connection to our Soul and expressing this out in our worlds. That this beautiful way of living is a simple choice to keep coming back to our core essence and to let this be our teacher.

  79. The lack of inequality at Universal Medicine events is due to the movements of the group. These are movements which do not wish to create inequality but rather to live in equality, which is a beautiful experience to be a part of.

  80. Sometimes it seems we think that we exist in life’s hotel, where we can expect to be waited on with an endless supply of good food and entertaining times. We expect to be treated with love and respect by everyone who’s there, championed and celebrated for our every move. Yet life is not a 5 star room we have checked into, but a space for us to learn and grow and evolve in. It’s time we stopped seeing the world as our God given right, that should be delivered to our plate but started to see we are meant to earn our keep by consistently learning and teaching.

  81. Chrissy you wrote such a wonderful blog! I am part of this life´s classroom as well and I have to admit that I am absolutely interested in every lesson I had learned and will learn. For me that is the best classroom ever!

  82. Thank you Chrissy, I have learned so much since beginning studying with Universal Medicine, from Serge when he presents, as well as from the many students who attend the presentations. It’s such a joy to continue to deepen my understanding of myself, of others, of communities and society at large, of nature and of the universe and our place in it all. The truth that is shared is equally within us all.

  83. Lovely Chrissy, the classroom of life without demands but only with opportunities to grow and evolve back to a way of being and life we have left behind, long, long time ago.

  84. “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” What a gorgeous reflection indeed Chrissy and one that takes no effort, tension and or stress and we don’t need to hand in any assignments, pass any tests or cram for an exam, we simply bring who we are to every move we make and be that in our day to day lives. Beautiful, simple and oh so much fun.

    1. I agree Kelly learning should ‘take no effort and be free of both tension and stress’ but it’s not. On the contrary it normally consists of all of those things and is often totally devoid of fun. How is it that we have turned learning on it’s head? We have taken something that is light, interesting, stimulating and fun and turned it into something that is often dull and heavy and worse of all we impose this on our kids for the majority of their childhood! How different would childhood be if we were to encourage true learning? And how different would our world be if what our kids learnt at school was true?

  85. This is beautiful Chrissy ” Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us, ” I have been witness to this on all occasion in the classroom.

  86. This is the only classroom I’ve ever been in where I don’t have to prove myself. I’m just supported to be myself.

  87. I have read this blog before, but this time this line stood out more than the others, ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us’. This is so true and never have I experienced this anywhere else.

    1. Indeed Julie, that has never been my experience before too. From the teacher standing besides you, I get to understand that I already know everything because I have lived it before, I only have to remember it and get acquainted with it once again.

  88. ‘to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom’ Awesome Chrissy!

  89. Gorgeous to re read Chrissy, what an amazing classroom we are in, learning about our ancient past that is our future to be lived now here on earth, where we are all students and teachers forever learning to live and reflect the love we are and the love we come from.

  90. We all have differing memories of and maybe some are still in the traditional classroom. What if though and as the title of this article hits at, Life is a classroom? How are we in that classroom and do we still carry a tradition that has seen us give what we know away to what we are told we need to learn? We are seeing more and more how some traditions are on the nose when it comes to how they truly care for the people that are in them and so it’s time to break tradition in this classroom and be aware of all that is around and in us. When we stop and consider all that we truly are and then reflect on the way we currently live you will see the wide gap between the two.

  91. Sometimes I take for granted what I have at my finger tips, it is blogs like this that remind me of what an ancient and invaluable classroom that is actually on offer, thank you.

  92. The willingness to be with ourselves no matter how we are brings back presence and confidence until we make choices that we will not want to not be with ourselves, and so learning in earth school becomes a joy always.

  93. Spot on Chrissy! How beautiful to be in a classroom where the Lessons are based on being Love!

  94. I like what you bring Chrissy with line “a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…”. to me it tells me that the separation we experience in our societies and in the world are just the outcome from us not being connected with ourselves and therefore express this same quality of divisiveness in the societies we live in. With that the answer is actually also very simple, and can only be found in building that inner connection with who we naturally are from within.

  95. This is the classroom that is the true role model for the Education system world wide… imagine if every school modelled itself on this? Our lives and our students lives would fundamentally shift and the world would change to a point of non-recognition… for what would be created? Simply harmony, love and brotherhood.

  96. The development offered by Universal Medicine is a classroom for life, for anyone who chooses to learn from their own inner wisdom.

  97. To Serge, with Love indeed! Not to exalt the man unnecessarily, but he is one heck of a teacher and there’s no better preparation for the school of life – a school that 99% of us struggle in, left to our own devices.

    1. Sure you are right Victoria, most of us struggle in life because we have lost that connection with the divine being within. Thanks to Serge Benhayon, the new world teacher, we have the opportunity to rise again to our natural way of being and living in connection with the divine being we are.

  98. When we appreciate who we are we can appreciate when a space is supportive for us, whether that be in the company of another or walking into a room full of people. It is honouring for us each to appreciate ourselves so that we are open to receiving support when it presents to us.

  99. We live in life’s big classroom every day, and thanks to Serge Benhayon I am fully equipped to be all that I am, develop daily and be a light for others.

  100. The traditional classroom never suited me, I was always a challenging student at school and although the teachers loved my creativity and tenacity they often struggled to answer my worldly questioning. I would ask the purpose of certain subjects, I would ask why they were inspired to teach? My teachers were shocked that I saw them as my equal but in this they gained great respect for me, still they were unable to deliver a lived way that could lead me out of my self created mess. Universal Medicine presenters and teachers on the other hand have never been shocked at the fact I am there equal, that I can lead from the crowd. Questions are welcomed and answered with a depth that is deeply felt, no curved ball that I have thrown in the 12 years of being a student of UM has ever been unanswered. Plus, the way the presenters move and live is constantly communicating for me to live more of my potential and I am no longer “the mess” I was once.

  101. Chrissy the classroom you described is where education ought to be at and our education system is far from it.

I wasn’t around in the era of the education system when ‘To Sir With Love’ was based on but boy have I got goose bumps just thinking about how I was taught and it is far from Universal Medicine teachings.

Serge Benhayon only present the truth to us and I’ve often heard him say ‘we are forever students’, I didn’t understand this but over the years I’ve been a student of Universal Medicine, I totally get it, we are forever learning. We are equally a teacher as we are equally a student.

  102. And in our on-going classes to discover more and more what being us is truly about and take that more to our everyday life, this is nothing new but so deeply joyful to remember and express again.

  103. The lessons we can learn every single day in life are so incredibly rich and valuable, it’s a bit like having access to a never ending pot of gold, or you could say the wealth of learning and growing everyday is one of the most rewarding experiences possible.

  104. Life is definitely a big classroom made for us to evolve in. We have our ups and downs but we will all come out and graduate in the end! There is no fail in this class!

  105. Sometimes it feels like I fell asleep at the back of the room and slept through the key things I needed to learn. But what the amazing thing is about this school is you never miss out, the teaching is retold to you in as many styles, and as many times as you need. It’s never too late to open your heart and get that ‘aha’ moment – every day is here for us to learn. Thank you Chrissy for this note and reminder to appreciate the lessons I am currently sitting.

    1. Haha I love your honesty, it’s true I think most of us are asleep at the back of the classroom and so life is constantly finding new ways to teach us the same lesson.

  106. I loved your word play for such a great teacher – ‘To Serge, With Love’. It also can be expressed the other way round – ‘From Serge, With Love’ where the love for humanity is ginormous and the wisdom that is there to be shared with everyone is endless – a classroom where each student present is valued and seen for the amazing person they also are. Who could ask for anything more . . .

  107. Best school I have ever been a part of. The whole premise that as a group you cannot move forward until everyone has an agreed understanding is beyond any other platform reached in traditional learning environments. That you already know everything when connected to universal intelligence is the foundation as a student. Hardly the professor and lowly student that we know of at university. I remember feeling how loveless university was and left after a year having really loved learning at school, I just couldn’t reconcile the change in purpose. So wonderful being a part of learning that is about love and truth.

  108. I agree Chrissy, it is so refreshing when we can look at life as a big classroom as we can let go of the images and expectations we place on ourselves and others and just learn to be a student of life where we learn from our mistakes and eventually will get to where we belong.

  109. I am loving re-reading your blog and more than 3 years on its so perfectly positioned and a great reflection for what we all experience at Universal Medicine events, something that gives us a moment to take stock and then take to life who we truly are, seeing each moment as part of our learning and unfolding, forever students of our soul and of life.

  110. A classroom where the teacher stands amongst the students, and yet values no less his or her authority and values no less the authority of each student…this is a rare thing to encounter, but a blessing indeed when one gets to be a part of it. I have experienced this too with Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine presentations. I love the feeling and am deeply touched by someone being here to remind us of true teaching and all of us being students, forever.

  111. This feels so light and true and this is the way I would love to come back to be educated by in the future and therefore, it will be what I commit to live each and every day, to see the lessons and accept the true education of The Way of The Livingness.

  112. ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us’ – as a teacher and a student, I know the significance of this and it is a world changing approach that has our equality at its core.

  113. The presentations of the Ageless Wisdom teach us how to evolve back to the beauty and magnificence we come from.

  114. This is the classroom of the future, for it is our ancient past – a sharing of wisdom, pouring forth equally from both students and teachers, rather than a bombardment of knowledge we are expected to recall on demand.

    1. I love that you are talking about the quality of equality – something that has landed right in the forefront of my life in the last few days. Living this quality is life changing.

  115. There is another way for us to learn and remember things that doesn’t follow being told and trying to recall. It sees you as already knowing it all and the dedication is for you to return to that knowing. It doesn’t see you in age, gender or ability but sees you in expression. It doesn’t come from right and wrong but simply from confirmation. You aren’t marked on your answers but supported to consistently see more. This is an education in a different way, a true education that doesn’t sit itself above you but brings you in, welcomes you as an equal and knows that with you we are all greater, The Way of The Livingness.

  116. I hadn’t thought of it this way before Brendan, but yes this is true. All teachers have a teacher and teachers never have all the answers alone.

  117. What a lovely blog, thankyou. One of my favourite lines “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us”, this is so true, thankyou for sharing all the things you appreciate about Universal Medicine, their workshops are special experiences and your points ring true for me too.

  118. This is a very beautiful blog appreciating what any student of Universal Medicine holds very dear. Our ‘lessons’ are really unlike anything available in the big classroom of life. What I am appreciating is how strong the pattern of the all-knowing teacher filling up the empty vessel students with knowledge. It creates an inequality and passivity in students that carries through life to any time we are learning something new. It feels amazing to start from the knowing that we are already full and wise and equal.

  119. I love this classroom as it consistently supports you to be more and to have access to great wisdom and knowledge.

  120. Thanks Chrissy. Lovely to come back to this and feel how much I am taking on Life’s lessons, and like you feeling appreciation for how and for what I am being responsible, and how as we open up to more love and truth life becomes richer and more joyful.

  121. Ah how magical that sounds! Looking forward to building and being a part of that classroom one day.

  122. This is all so true! Thanks for expressing it so I can gain a deeper appreciation and live this in my life more consciously because these classrooms are there all around us if we choose to live this way.

  123. The classroom that you describe here is the real deal, one where evolution is the subject and truth and love its methodology.

  124. Yep, that sums it up and remembering that this is how we learn, through the grace of love and truth presented by our fellow brothers and sisters.

  125. So simply expressed. What I love about the teachings of Universal Medicine is that they are not rules or guidelines, but simply tools to access the wisdom that we all equally have inside of us. There’s no reliance on these teachings to access this wisdom, since we can all access it through we live, but they can help us identify what gets in the way, and get to it more easily.

    1. I agree Bryony, there is an aliveness to true learning and to true teaching, it has a vibrancy to it, it can’t be repeated year after year in exactly the same way because life is constantly changing and so although the principles stay the same, the delivery of those principles has to change otherwise people won’t be able to relate to them.

  126. Beautifully said Chrissy. It is very freeing to approach life as a student and our bodies constantly remind us that everything we need is within.

  127. So beautifully expressed thank you “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” I am a forever student.

  128. It’s gorgeous to be a student of oneself. We are our greatest and most humble teacher – it is up to us if we choose to listen to the inner wisdom of our bodies and let go of what gets in the way of accepting that communication.

    1. Yes to this and the celebration of the fun and revelations to be had when we are students of ourselves… curious and investigative. My relationship with my body just gets more and more interesting the more I ‘listen’ to what it has to say and then live informed by its guidance.

      1. I can relate Matilda. The relationship we have with our bodies gets ever more interesting the deeper it goes.

  129. What a gorgeous reminder that we are all responsible for our life and learnings:
‘Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self’
That once we separate – we are the only ones who make a division.

  130. Life can be a beautiful classroom if we choose to observe what goes on around, and always respond with love and without judgment of another.

  131. Blessed we are to have the opportunity to attend the classroom of Universal Medicine where our relationships with religion, science, philosophy, ourselves as human beings and life which we are all part of, is equally explored, questioned and shared with an openness that allows us to be ourselves and if we so choose, to live in connection to more truth and love in our lives, so we can bring the magic of who we innately are to life. Where student and teacher are held as one and the same, we are met with a beautiful reflection of the quality we all hold within, and the wisdom that we all know of through our connection to Soul.

  132. I used to hate being at school, being a student. Nothing made sense to me. It is through Universal Medicine I have got to understand what being a student truly means, and appreciate being one, as well as being a teacher at the same time.

  133. This shows the total opposite of education, giving us all the space to learn in our own time, not being bound by the strong hold of intelligence that is the education system. Giving only the tools to succeed intellectually, but far from delivering whole human beings that are complete and know their own worth and purpose in this life.

  134. It is fun to be in a classroom where people are free to be themselves. It is gorgeous to witness the profound beauty and wisdom that people who are not being imposed on can access and bring to the world, which is in turn a gift for us all.

  135. You make life’s ‘classroom’ infinitely more useful and relevant to humanity Chrissy… which is exactly what the ‘education’ one can receive through Universal Medicine offers.

  136. What is the point of education if it teaches us a thousand way to change a light bulb so that we can get on with things in the dark, but does not teach us how to deal with life?

    1. Absolutely love this comment Adam, the current education system is just what you describe.

  137. There is nothing like a classroom I have been in as a student (of Universal Medicine) where I have been honoured for who I am. To be confirmed in feeling and knowing life from my body and the universe – not limited by understanding knowledge already written and proven by a scientific approach. Where wisdom is about the depth of connection with another; awareness is being open to what feels true or not, and not what is owned as some sophisticated knowhow.
The school of The Livingness supports me to read life as energy first and not anything less than that because that is energetic responsibility and where truth naturally is.

  138. If only our education system was more based on the principles and simple truths that this classroom is based. When we are young we grow up learning life in a giant class called the classroom of life. Where everything feels big and all one and connected and we feel God working His magic with us all the time. When we enter the education system and begin our education of temporal life we feel and experience almost the complete opposite to that which we knew when growing up.

  139. I keep being drawn back to this blog, so I guess there is something I am not wanting to learn. Sometimes in class you do get students who, for whatever reason try to get out of the lesson as if they have somewhere else they would rather be. The thing about ‘life’s classroom’ as you describe it Chrissy is that it doesn’t stop, and will continually keep presenting the module you need to learn, until you get it so clear, right down to your bones. So why don’t we do ourselves a favour and stop fighting so much our next steps, our next ‘X’.

  140. So often classrooms separate learning from life, what I love about this classroom is life is the learning.

  141. Which ever way you look at it, we are given so much support every day, not to have a better life, but to live in a way more aligned with the truth. Perhaps the biggest revelation in this class of ours is the realisation that this is our true purpose. So there really is no bad thing that can occur, other than us ignoring what we are being told and shown. It truly is worth us paying attention Chrissy, without reaction or judgement, to help us return to what we already know.

  142. A simple blog with a huge message . We are all, and know all within and are in the process of being reawakened to the fact that we come from Love and therefore are Love.

  143. ‘Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart,’ now this I can be a student of!! How wonderful.

  144. I just love reading this “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” how beautiful is this just to be who we are and reflect that to others.

  145. So beautiful – the question comes up about how we could possibly resist, yet we do. The easiest and most natural way is to be who we truly are and never to allow separation from self. Thank you for these words – ‘Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…’

  146. You can stand at the back with your hands over your ears, you can shout and try to drown out what you hear, you can flick garbage at others hoping to distract and cause a fuss, you can ever overturn your bags and kick your desk. But no matter where you go and what you say, this is one classroom you will never leave. The lessons will keep coming whether you like them or not. So it’s simply up to us – do you embrace your studentship or not? Thank you Chrissy for this awesome blog.

  147. What I’ve learnt in Universal Medicine Presentations has prepared me more for life than all the years I spent in school and university. Sure school teaches you some vital skills, but it completely bypasses teaching you the tools you need to thrive in the challenges of day to day life.

  148. It is truly humbling to recognise how we are all students eternally so – here to learn together to live once again something we all already are in our essence.

  149. “The teachers stand amongst us, not before us” – A true Teacher is also one who is a True Student all at the same time.

  150. I totally agree Chrissy attending Universal Medicine workshops and presentations is indeed like entering a classroom that totally initiates a fresh approach to understanding and actually committing to life.

  151. My whole life I have craved a setting and group of people where I was free to question life and to live and breathe philosophy – enter Universal Medicine. I often hear critics say I have joined a cult, and that I have been manipulated into what to believe. What they don’t realise is that I already have formulated many of the viewpoints that Universal Medicine presents, and so it was not so great a leap for me to embrace their philosophy. What I had not done until I connected with Universal Medicine was live that which I had known deeply to be true for so long, and so in that respect, it was definitely a reawakening.

  152. Love this Chrissy! And I also love this part: “the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom” – our homework is about living what we know deep within to be true and reflecting that to others. Each of us holds unique qualities that we are here to remind others of too, no different to all of us learning from the expressions and qualities of another being reflected to us! And life is our classroom, it is our opportunity to learn and re-learn until such time that we have mastered our ability to return to who we are consistently so.

  153. So gorgeous to come back and read your blog Chrissy, what you write here is so true and it is the same every time I enter the Universal Medicine classroom. There is a joy and willingness to learn where everyone is equal, “a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self.’… a model for the education system we have at present to follow and learn from.

  154. I Love the teachings of Universal Medicine, it has hailed how teaching can be; inspiration and appreciation for what we are, not what we are lacking…with a practical lived experience and way that lights the path for all that choose to make it a lived way.

  155. I have also just been present in a Retreat with Universal Medicine where every day builds on the one before and we leave feeling so much lighter and freer than before with a wealth of shared teachings and revelations . I so appreciate the opportunity to take part in these Retreats and thank Serge Benhayon with all my heart.

  156. Absolute truth and love expressed here Chrissy. I am at a Universal Medicine retreat at the moment and the presentations made by Serge Benhayon, Natalie Benhayon and every participant in the retreat have been life changing and eye opening to say the least. Thank you for reminding me how blessed I am to have the opportunity to be a part of this classroom.

  157. Universal Medicine is the best school and classroom I have ever entered. I always used to hate school and did not enjoy being in the classroom. Universal Medicine has opened me up to the joy of seeing all of life as a classroom and introduced me to the greatest teacher ever which is my body.

  158. ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us…’
I love this too – that we are all students in our own path to evolution, which is essentially the one path. It’s so cool to sit in an audience along side a practitioner and feel completely equal.

  159. When I consider learning in a school environment it is really interesting- rarely does it engage the student and their lived experiences and what they know as an equal and important aspect of the learning process. When we leave this behind it is not true learning, it is simply a regurgitation of facts that are in disconnect to what is happening in life and with people.

    1. To be honest MW it is not only learning in a school environment but also the way that many of us parent our kids that fails to ‘engage the student and their lived experiences and what they know as an equal’. We almost uniformly have a ‘them and us’ mentality, ‘us’ being the holders of information and ‘them’ knowing very little and requiring us to educate them. So much is both squandered and lost in this scenario not least of all the child’s understanding that they are already an all knowing being, as are we.

  160. It is a definitely classroom unlike any other. I feel very blessed to be part of it and to experience what true education, connection, religion, humanity etc. can feel like.

  161. The most natural classroom in the world – one fostering brotherhood and unity, and the words resistance and separation don’t exist. Thank Chrissy.

    1. Here here Christine – a classroom that seeks to unite all in their unique expression of God and not divide, categorise or measure students against each other.

  162. At first, attending a Universal Medicine event can seem like you are experiencing something unusualy great. Then it gradually becomes clear that we could actually have this warm, connection and evolution everywhere with everyone all of the time. It’s truly mind blowing what can take place in the classroom of life. I am extremely grateful like you Chrissy to find myself here, at this time in this life and be present to see so many people start to shine. The change is incredible in them and in me.

  163. Where we are all equal and met as such regardless of age, outer appearance, job, gender or any other factors.

  164. “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us” – Serge Benhayon certainly stands beside us all equally, holding himself no more or less than any other and caring for all equally, this is a man that truly breaks down barriers and honours the wisdom within us all.

  165. I just love this line ‘Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom”, and what beautiful reflections we are as we connect to the knowing of who we are and we live it in our every movement with no perfection.

  166. I am a student in Life’s Classroom too Chrissy, it is a continuous journey of forever learning and evolving, returning us, to oneness and harmony.

  167. I always get goosebumps reading these words Chrissy. You have truly spoken with the one voice heard by many hearts. In honour of this worldly classroom of which you speak, I enter with all of me to sit beside you all the way.

  168. Life sure is a big classroom and the more we see it this way the more we will embrace the lessons that are on offer for us rather than trying to fight them. I love how you say: ‘the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am’, and for me this is key, the moment I surrender to the love that I am all before me is taken care of.

    1. I love the sentence you quoted here James. It feels very confirming, just live what we already now and therefore nothing is really new but a gentle reminder of who we are.

      1. And that is the joy and simplicity – we have everything we could ever dream of within we just have to surrender to it rather than try to seek or attain it outside of ourselves.

  169. One of the many things I love about this classroom is the fact that we are all teachers. There is no “One” as we are all the “Ones” and all have a part to play to make the whole what it is.

  170. “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” This is the homework I like as I have never liked homework before, as it brings me back to the core of my essence which only can be found by living it in all that I am and not through meditation in a obscure cave or other isolated place.

    1. Yes, I love this sort of homework. Each moment of evolution is one of real joy, not just the relief or satisfaction of a task completed.

      1. Surely the fact that most kids and also most adults hate homework should, in itself be an indication that something is not right. But no, because we have become so used to disliking and even hating so many aspects of our lives, we just take it for granted when something is distasteful. It seems an impossibility that we could live in a way that is continually joyful, stimulating, fun, interesting, engaging and love filled but not only is it possible but it’s actually how life is when it’s true.

  171. Why don’t we teach our children this way? ‘Where the format is often playful, and never divisive’, When we teach children we are so often doing it from a place of seriousness where the focus is on whether what they are doing is right or wrong.

  172. We are all teachers constantly reflecting to one another aspects of life that we can learn from.

    1. Very true Fiona. And the teacher is only a true teacher in the moment they know that they are the forever student also.

  173. If schools were like this, we would see adults who retained the innocent expression of children – a world I would be full of joy to live in.

  174. Could you please implement this in our school curriculum for the future generations. I was going to suggest you travelling back in time so that I could have experienced this but maybe that asking a wee bit too much…

  175. We are accustomed by the educational system that what is taught cannot be related to our personal life. It is always about something else. One (just one) of the beauties of Universal Medicine is that it is about life and hence it is always about us but only as part of something bigger. It is a way of teaching that does not leave you behind but it places you in the whole picture and that turns life itself into a permanent classroom.

  176. Life is a classroom and we are surrounded by teachers who are all equally students. It’s a beautiful place to be.

  177. Chrissy I love this part “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart'” it provides an incredible level of way of living and support to view and approach life, one where we are a student of ourselves, our soul.

  178. This classroom is a microcosm of how life can be lived out there in the ‘big, wide, world’. By living by these principals that have their foundation in a one-unifying love and by walking side-by-side with each other as forever students of a wisdom that never ages, we are better able to arise back to our true selves so that we can live such majesty here on Earth. This is one class I will never wag again.

  179. Thank you Chrissy. Life is like one huge classroom and one of the main subjects is love. We seem to talk about it a lot and try out different options but once we have mastered living in true love, all the others subjects are a natural result of our learning which includes truth, harmony, stillness and joy.

  180. Love what you have shared Chrissy, this is a classroom where heaven reigns, where love and truth are expressed and felt within the inner heart, where there is freedom to speak, where the world teacher walks among us in love and equality, and also a student of life as we all are.

  181. This is so well said Chrissy, it’s the class room from our past and our future. One we have all attended at some point of our many lives, and one that we will all attend in some or many lives to come.

  182. I did not enjoy school but this classroom is a forever joy to attend and what we study, “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart,” is the greatest subject there is to study

    1. Beautifully said jstewart51. I agree and our choice to pay attention to our inner heart results in many joyous moments which will guides us throughout the rest of our life’s classroom.

  183. When you enter a room held by Universal Medicine it really is something else, you can tangibly feel the ease and love. Tension melts away in your body, you get given the space to re-connect with yourself in a far deeper way than ever before, you get given the space to be more honest with yourself and what is going on for you, particularly with the body. The equalises is felt amongst all that are there and you get to learn about life, the Universe and ourselves in a way that quite frankly I have never done before in this life. Every single person should have the opportunity to experience this for themselves.

  184. Chrissy this is so beautifully written and expressed. What Universal Medicine offers is undeniably an opportunity for us to return to live in connection to the light of who we are, where we can explore and understand the universality of the oneness we are all integrally part of, equally so, through the lives we live on a daily basis. A joy it is to be a fellow eternal student in this universal classroom of life, where love and truth are the fundamentals of our learning.

  185. Yep, that is my kinda classroom, especially poignant now having gone back to university, where it is all about who knows the most, who is the most clever, and who gets what mark. It is in total contrast to what you have described here, Chrissy. But I know one day we will come back to classroom learning being based on Love and Truth, something each one of us has access to, and that will be amazing!

  186. This is a whole new side of a classroom. A classroom where everyone is able to learn and be and not have to be or become anyone. This is a huge change.. As seemingly we are used to being in a classroom and needing to become; become intelligent, become a student, become a teacher, become a mom, become a interviewer etc. etc. etc. So this classroom inspires other classrooms to be the same from the start.. and then yes to learn of course things for life, and occupation – but at least we have made the connection first.

  187. Life is a constant unfolding classroom and where we have the choice to move, express and enjoy the learning available to us everywhere. Awesome.

  188. I love being a student of the Ageless Wisdom which Universal Medicine represents because I get to be a student of both myself and the universe. How cool is that?

  189. “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us,” this is the beautiful part of this classroom, there is no teacher who feels and portrays they are better than the rest. They present in the knowing they are equal and that everyone knows what they are sharing, there are just reminding everyone what they already know.

  190. I’ve never seen it as a classroom, but perhaps that’s because my own definition of classroom has become bastardised. But attending a Universal Medicine event is a classroom, what a glorious classroom it is.

  191. This is great to read. Knowing it to be true in my heart, as that is what we learn to live from the heart. The innermost that we are, not true instruction but through true inspiration.

  192. What a completely different education to what most of us are used to, as a student too in this classroom Chrissy I can confirm it works. I have learnt more about life in my first few weeks with Universal Medicine then I did in my entire schooling.

  193. Beautiful Chrissy, love your playfulness and love your words. This sums up the joy that connection, understanding and returning ‘to that which we already know’ can bring!.

  194. That is so true to me that life is a big classroom as my life is is about continuous learning on how to live as a divine human being on this planet earth. To live to our true nature is living in union with all of humanity and not the separated way we live our lives now, and of which our societies are a reflection of for all of us to learn from.

  195. “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart.” The beautiful song that is the knowing from our inner heart. Thank you Chrissy and thank you Serge Benhayon for inspiring me to see just how truly glorious life is when we are connected to our heart and moving from there.

  196. This is the classroom about our lives where we are reconnecting ourselves to the fact that we are Sons of God and can live as such in our daily lives. Reconnecting to the love we come from takes away the separation that we know from our current education systems, where we are told things in separation that we are supposed to do and not know, and the teacher already knows. How different compared to the teachings of Serge Benhayon, where we are in congregation to explore together where we truly come from, and individually and collectively know because we come from there and have lived this before.

  197. If true education could be found in the classroom so to speak, then we would not be so green behind the ears when we went out into the the big wide world.

  198. Where we are all teachers and students returning to what we already know and are, which is also ever expanding.

  199. Wow – goosebumps Chrissy…you have perfectly summed up what it feels like to live in such a classroom. We are all students in this Earth school of ours, as we are also all the teachers. Such is life on a sphere that no one stands in front or behind another but beside each other as around and around we go, back to the full expression of the love that we are.

  200. I love being in this classroom, which is a vastly different feeling than the one I went to school with. I am met here as myself, with love. The words that are spoken sing in my heart and lift me to a true and lasting appreciation of myself. I learn so much that embraces and understands humanity, not excusing horrible behaviours but understanding the choices that leads to them and shows me that I have a choice in every moment. I can choose to be love or not. My understanding of this grows daily and deeply in every moment and every thought. I am so blessed to choose to be in this classroom.

  201. ‘Where the teachers stand among us and not before us’ Its such a different approach, and is possible because of the fact that we are all students of living, no matter how advanced, how developed, how many years old.

  202. I love your interpretation of Life’s Classroom Chrissy. I love all the points but, in particular, “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart”. Imagine if this was taught in our schools.

  203. Chrissy, this is wonderful – the only homework we really have is to live life fully and to reflect this out to all, to allow the joy that lies within to radiate out and be felt, not one ounce hidden. For this beauty that already lies within us all, is meant for all to feel and see.

    1. Sure Henrietta, like we are designed to be with one another, to reflect all the aspects of God’s love in life but everybody form a different angle and together we are one.

  204. When you attend a Universal Medicine event it is different and you might call it ‘strange’. For there is no-one pushing you to do something, no one judging or undermining you, just a genuine warm welcome that fills the whole room. There is no rah-rah or big song and dance, but just a consistent quality of care and self-regard. This can seem at first ‘not real’ as the rest of life is not like this at all. But after a while you come to realise, its our life in society that is the wrong way round. So Chrissy thank God for Universal Medicine and how they continue to re-school people from all over the world that Love is our greatest lesson.

    1. Or we could say that not living the great love that we are is our greatest lesson and choosing to live this love once more is our deepest healing.

  205. This is a classroom I know I’ve walked many life’s before, the love and brotherhood on offer makes my heart sing and my body wanting more lessons. I am a forever student of this school.

  206. I love in this class room we are all the teachers, the opportunity for learning is abundant and equality is felt.

  207. “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both”. absolutely there is never a workshop or presentation that anyone one has left without being touched by love and truth, since the last 5 yrs my life has felt this in every workshop, presentation or even a session.

  208. Thank you Chrissy. This sounds like the classroom of my dreams but thanks to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine this schooling is my everyday reality.

  209. Is it possible that this whole list that describes a Universal Medicine event, is also available for us in all of life, if we choose to support ourselves in a loving and caring way and bring all of ourselves into every situation?

  210. Yes. This planet is our classroom and we are teachers and students equally. With Universal Medicine I learnt how to embrace the teachings I’ve got from life and act no longer defiant, frustrated or rebellious against what will support me. With the support of Universal Medicine I realize more and more what ‘taking responsibility’ really means. A blessing from God it is. And a joy to live it.

  211. This clearly represents the joy I feel coming to Universal Medicine events. A universal classroom, learning us all to feel what we truly are and know innately. It is us choosing if we take it into our lives, or leave it.

  212. I love this list of what the class room is all about Chrissy. I love it because everything you’ve shared feels all encompassing, inclusive of everyone and I feel that no one is above anyone else regardless of where we are at in life, or what we bring into these classrooms. It feels so loving and supportive to accept and appreciate everyone as equals. No matter where our classroom is, if we do not have a foundation of love, openness and equality I feel this stunts our ability to truly learn.

  213. “Our only study is to listen to our inner hearts.” – this makes my heart sing.

  214. Beautiful to re-read your blog Chrissy. “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” Yes. Seeing the bigger picture, so I don’t get stuck in individualism – and so stay connected with me – and thence the wider world.

  215. I love this blog Chrissy and I can totally relate to everything you have shared with a gorgeous sense of fun and bucket loads of appreciation.

  216. The lessons learned through Universal Medicine are non-imposing and presented with love and offer true life skills, and understanding that everything is a result of a choice I have made and I am responsible for my choices in life.

  217. And this study will not end, we love returning to the love and truth that is taught and shared. And we are always welcome to come back to this universal classroom time after time whenever we feel to.

  218. To truth with love – Life’s classroom indeed. I love the reference to baggage: “Where the only material we bring is the ‘baggage’ we all come attached to, and carry with us” So true and so wonderful to have that shared, aired and discarded – Universal Medicine has some of the best classrooms on earth!

  219. Hmmm ‘where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love but we all have the opportunity to be touched by both’….. stunning. What a blessing to witness and behold… and as a result, deeply heal everything we have lived to this point that is not from either.

  220. Beautiful Chrissy; to Serge with love, a deep profound and divine love with equal amounts of heartfelt appreciation.

  221. The classroom you describe is not only the classroom of the present at Universal Medicine events but will be the classroom of the future where people come together to share what they know, to learn from each other and to free themselves of the false images they have about so many things. It requires us to connect, with ourselves and with each other and it is a beautiful way to learn and evolve together.

  222. I have learned a heap about myself in the classroom you so aptly describe. At first I was at home and loved the freedom I felt, then I began to judge my classmates, poking fun at them behind there backs, this started as a funny joke, innocent but ended up being something else that I am not proud of. I could have taken this further and slowly detached myself from the classroom, distanced myself from my classmates but instead I realised if we loose sight of appreciating others then we have simply lost sight of ourselves. Instead I choose to commit to my study and a beautiful thing happened, I began to see not only my classmates faults but their strengths and areas where I had much to learn from them. Now, when I walk in to life’s classroom I feel my heart more open to all, this openness, you had naturally in the classroom room in the beginning, as did I but had to reconnect to.

  223. ‘Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…’ So beautiful and so true.

  224. A classroom where “…our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart.” Gods gift to us was to bring this divine part of us into our physical form with us, so we have this direct connection back to our source. So in our manner of speaking our classroom is one of unlearning.

  225. It almost sounds utopian in the current world we live in to even consider that such a classroom could exist and be so success-full. And herein lies the true beauty of the quality of what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine have grounded for us all because we not only have a living example of what such a classroom is like, it has also been very, very, very success-full in offering true change in many people’s lives

  226. It is so beautiful in a Universal Medicine class room, where ageless wisdom is shared and “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us,”. This is so inspiring and empowering for us all, as we are all, students and we are all teachers of life.

  227. “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart.” The true masterstroke for life is living from our own connection to who we are and expressing from our heart. Gorgeous thank you Chrissy.

  228. I love your blog Chrissy, ‘Where one voice is heard by many hearts, and where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both’. This is how I feel every time I attend Universal Medicine courses, presentations and workshops. I also know that I too can choose to bring truth and love to everywhere I go knowing that I never leave life’s classroom, every moment is an opportunity to learn and to express absolute truth and love.

  229. This classroom so vastly different from most others around the world. The only one that I have been totally enthralled by what is being presented and the only one that feels truly purposeful.

  230. “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart…” simple words Chrissy, but music to my ears, applying this philosophy to life opens up the doorway to a truer way of being, one that we have long forgotten, and this way is the Way of the Livingness, a way of life based on the teachings of the Ancient Wisdom, if only all classrooms were this enjoyable, there would be many a happy student.

  231. The core intent of Universal Medicine is to guide us to a livingness that results in connection to soul and once we have that we know it all.

  232. “Without love for myself, I wasn’t able to truly love another” Reflecting upon this, I can remember initially keeping myself at arms length from everyone through my unloving choices/past experiences that self built dividing wall. Yet deep inside I was yearning for the one thing I kept pushing away. Brotherhood was calling.
The door of Universal Medicine classroom is always open where attendance levels are going up – yes we are all teachers and students forever learning I feel sharing that we are all exactly the same just at different levels on our journey of self discovery but uniting together as one and the vastness of our shared pool of wisdom is there for all to tap into.

  233. Wow Chrissy thank you – Its been a while since I last read this. Again I’m feeling with deep appreciation the journey thus far travelled and the huge honour it is to of come across Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine. Infact, every day I thank God that my pathway led me to attending such presentations/workshops and healing modalities that have enriched so many lives and, brought about such awareness that we are all on this journey called ‘life’ together and that there is ‘another way’ for us to live in/with love and from love we can all make changes with the old stagnated patterns of our past that did not serve us but, did initiate the search for that something ‘more’ which led us to the pathway of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon. A classroom well attended through choice.

  234. I remember how at first when I attended Universal Medicine events there was a sense of watching the clock or wondering just how long this would go on. I knew it was healthy for me, yet there seemed to be a limit on how long I could be there. Today this has changed, and reading your words Chrissy, I can feel it’s because I have at last understood that each and every day, every moment in life is a lesson in Love and true understanding. When I am open and ready for this life long class, attending courses is not a point to fix, but a confirming appreciation of the grand wisdom to which we are all returning.

  235. It is great to feel the love that is in this classroom, no need for you to be anything else than yourself. That is what it is about, getting to know the nitty gritty of our existence in this world, and see what has brought us here to learn and evolve from.

  236. It is beautiful to come back to this blog Chrissy, like a vital and important course book. On this, page one of one, you remind me that life is a constant stream of ‘live’ seminars, a never-ending presentation, an interactive lecture, that I can choose to whole-heartedly embrace or slouch and doze off to sleep at the back of the auditorium. Either way we get every lesson and teaching that is needed, delivered for free. How about that for higher education.

  237. Universal Medicine “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us” and where we are all students and teachers as we learn to return to knowing who we truly are and where we came from with the religion, science and philosophy of The Way of the Livingness.

  238. The beautiful thing is that when we learn in the way you have described above Chrissy, these are lessons that are not forgotten, because what is presented is a lived truth and resonates deeply with those who too choose this for themselves.

  239. I love the simplicity in which you describe here Chrissy the classroom of Universal Medicine. I feel my heart expand when I read your blog knowing that I am delighted that I too am a student of life, a student of Universal Medicine.

  240. You remind me Chrissy how our study never ends. And how when I embrace this and the fact that each and every person I meet is perfectly organised to teach and reflect something to me about life, then wow there’s no limit to the Love that can be felt.

    1. Thank you Joseph Barker I felt this too this morning and it reminds me to appreciate what appears at first a tricky situation within a relationship is always an opportunity to evolve.

  241. This classroom is the most familiar place. Right from the start, I felt like this strong sense of belonging, that it was my space, that I was home.

  242. It is interesting to re-read this and observe myself adding ‘bits’ to the dot points, as confirmation of the evolution we are choosing. For example, more than being touched by love and truth, we are claiming it and living it.

  243. The most amazing thing is this Universal Medicine classroom is only place I would be happy to learn in 7 days of the week. I never enjoyed learning at school but this classroom offers the student beautiful wisdom and true love and reminds us to connect to our inner heart and to experience brotherhood once again.

  244. “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us” this has to be one of the beautiful and most truthful lines I have read in this world. Teachers are amongst us everywhere in this world, from a street corner to the person sitting next to you on the bus. You just never know who you might be sitting to, or where they have come from. From the tiniest baby to the oldest adult in this world. There’s something way much bigger than the physicality of a person to connect to.

  245. I so love coming back to reading this blog, it is what I longed for at school, but when I read this blog I know that this is totally possible to have a universal classroom that caters for all in a harmonious and loving way where we study life rather than text books. Maybe not just now but it is a classroom of the future I would love to be a part of.

  246. Thank you Chrissy for a great blog, this certainly is a classroom that i love returning to time and time again “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both,”

  247. I have learnt more in these universal classrooms in the last 4 years then I have 20 years in mainstream education. What we learn in the Universal Medicine classrooms is invaluable for every moment of life. Thank God for Universal Medicine it is a blueprint for true education.

    1. Well said and I echo Samantha! This Universal Medicine carries nor promotes judgement, expectation, need, competition or comparison and holds all equal in essence. One of the biggest things I have re-learnt in this classroom is to take responsibility for my choices and to be ‘me’! These are Learnings that have changed my life and relationship with others in a way that no amount of time in traditional education ever could…

  248. I love the line about the only material is the baggage we bring. And even though there is often some amazing and enthralling information being presented, that line correctly explains that what is presented is not for the sake of it or to dazzle or impress, but simply what is called for by those present. wow.

  249. ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us’ – I LOVE this line, the most amazing lessons that I have learnt from the most amazing people have not been people who I’ve looked up to, but people who have treated me as their equal.

  250. Thankyou Chrissy, its so simple when we live like this – “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart”. It takes me some discipline though because I’m so used to referring to the stored knowledge I carry, ie the beliefs and ideals, but the truth is in the still quiet place within my inner heart. Living from beliefs and ideals is hard slog, but living from my inner heart is joyful.

  251. A beautiful sharing Chrissy, I love this classroom, freedom to be who we are, support in choosing that, equality, knowing that we all come from love, and the tools with which to deepen this inner knowing and expressing. Definitely heaven sent.

  252. I love this Chrissy “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” We are students for life and sharing and expressing the wisdom which is unique to us all is awesome. Sharing all of who we are equally with all sounds like a fantastic classroom indeed.

  253. Powerfully simple and very playfull Chrissy, I love it! This is the classroom of the future for sure, beyond all the new technology and systems, it is just about equality and connection

  254. Awesome sharing. For sure this sentence : Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…
This is key, we are responsible for the truth and love we live – if we choose not to, for example, because of hurts – we are separating – and forming our own individual classrooms , where our sight gets limited by the lack of love we carry. Therefore love and truth is our key to make up such classrooms .. They fully fill the room with space, learning of truth and love for all to see and practice – just like the classroom with Serge Benhayon!

    1. Beautifully said Danna, love and truth is ‘key’ to make up such classrooms and when we don’t, as you say, it lends itself to separation. Not knowing or accepting the fact that we are indeed all connected, learning and unfolding with each other, ensures that we stay in our own individual classroom and not engaging and evolving together.

      1. Yes – as I can testimony I have lived in my so called ‘individual classroom’, I realize now that even I had this strong image, meanwhile blaming the world for not liking me and feeling lonely in life -I felt that I was simply not taking my responsibility. Acting like a victim or person that has less power then others (or when in glamour – pretending I had more) is absolute lie. I actually never was alone or lonely even though I strongly tried to held the believe I was. This now , I can feel that I was constantly looking for ideals (approved excuses) to find my way out to not feel and be responsible for what I was feeling all of the time and take action. This is what I am learning now – to be responsible for myself for what I feel and choose, to act on when things do not feel right but also to make sure I appreciate myself. I feel that since I have made a commitment to be more true to myself – all these ideals seem to fade away- simply because they are not true. I had only used them because I needed them! Wow!

  255. Amazing – you can feel what it is to be in a Universal Medicine event – there is so much to be relearnt.

  256. “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us,” this is a one-humanity classroom and one i’m grateful to be a part of – thank you for this great blog Chrissy.

  257. Brilliant blog Chrissy, simple and powerful. I love all the points you’ve shared, they are Gold and so, so true for me too as I am sure for many world-wide as well. Your blog just captures what Universal Medicine is about in simple, easy to understand and inspiring expression. Absolutely gorgeous, Thank you!

  258. “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both.” walk in knowing I will be challenged, I will learn, I will grow and I will always carry more of myself out into the world.

  259. Beautiful, what stood out was – “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart””. This is true, as I connect with my innerheart I feel home, safe and pure. I simply love to study my inner-heart, I have never learned so much.

  260. It is so rare in this day and age in education to have Love as our teacher, it is all mainly about how well you do in your exams and recall. Universal Medicine classrooms are different, it is ALWAYS about Love first and never is not. I feel so deeply grateful to be part of this awesome class room.

    1. This is so true Samanthaengland, I feel the same too. I feel truly blessed to have come across Universal Medicine and to be part of this incredible Life’s Classroom. I am loving every minute of it, listening with my heart fully open.

  261. Chrissy you have described Universal Medicine perfectly; your blog has given me a stop moment to have deep appreciation for what classroom I have chosen to sit in. The enormity of what is on offer is deeply inspiring to be part of. This is one classroom I wish to sit in for many lives to come.

  262. Such immense Joy it is, to have re discovered the classroom of old where love is the teacher.

    1. Great comment Kimweston2, ‘love is the teacher’ this is brilliant! And another great thing is, everyone in the classroom is a teacher and student at the same time. We are always held as equals, no one is ever above or below another. What an amazing classroom to be in where equality is truly expressed and lived?

  263. There is so much in your last line….”Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” this is a mantra for life. Because no one can tell us to do or be anything, we can be heavily influenced for sure, but ultimately if you attend a presentation or course, you can choose what you take from it. Such is life, we come into contact with many people on a daily basis, we don’t take on their behaviours, ideals or beliefs from those interactions, we discern, what is true for us. So it is always a matter of feeling into what is right for us.

  264. Every classroom should be touched by this, how magical would it be where the foundation is based on truth and love. Engaged every day all day – I am beginning to see that this is actually possible.

  265. This is a gem of a blog Chrissy and every word of your description of the ‘classroom’ of Universal Medicine is true. Every single one. I am honoured to be a Student of the Way of the Livingness.

  266. It is always a joy to be a forever student and to be inspired and confirmed in one of the greatest classrooms ever with Universal Medicine and the ancient wisdom. I love how I am constantly learning from myself and others and can appreciate what we all bring, such as what you have delivered for us here Chrissy. Thank you

  267. We have found with Universal Medicine the school of life, how it is intended by God. The reason why I am bold and can claim this is that I never lost my connection to God during childhood and I can feel God in every breath breathed in these halls of ageless wisdom. No perfection, but true connection.

  268. Absolutely, it truly is Heaven’s classroom.
The most amazing and Evolutionary classroom I have ever had the joy of being a part of.

    1. Heaven’s classroom indeed Madeleine, I too am truly grateful to be part of this classroom, like no other I have ever attended in this life. What a true blessing it is that this classroom is available and open to anyone and everyone.

  269. It is a great honour to visit heaven’s classroom here on earth and this is exactly what Serge Benhayon presents. You so beautifully describe the courses run by Universal Medicine here Chrissy.

  270. I love this classroom. We learn all sorts of things at schools and colleges on how to do things, to get qualifications etc., but no-one really teaches how to live life – which really is the subject we must all learn before anything else.

    1. This is so true Fumiyo, I have not found anywhere else teaching us to truly live life with absolute love and truth in full. Universal Medicine is a blessing to humanity, offering us a true lesson in life and deeply inspiring us to return to love and to return to God.

    2. ‘No-one really teaches how to live life’ – Absolutely spot on! In my early twenties I could spell complicated words, easily write a thesis, and memorise as many facts as needed to score highly in an exam but I remember leaving university and feeling clueless. I had no idea how to live life, or be me. I one billion percent agree that life should be taught first, or at least at the same time!

  271. Can you imagine if all classrooms were like this? This would be such a big gift for all children and also for all those gorgeous teachers out there.

  272. A return to your blog Chrissy and I enjoyed and was inspired by it anew. I totally agree that if we had learnt these lessons on Life there would be some amazingly intelligent and wise people in the world , more than we have already.

  273. Chrissy, I love all your dot points and feel to incorporate them into my classroom.
I am very inspired by your words. Thank you.

  274. With wonderful lessons in this classroom that are never ending and always offering evolution.

  275. Your list about a classroom in this super short profound blog Chrissy is why I choose to attend Universal Medicine events.
Today there is a course in the UK but I have made the choice to not attend as I have come to realise that it is not needed (even though I never stop learning).
My life has changed, my work has changed and if I stop and reflect the work I am doing to support “humanity” this would not be taking place if I attended this course.
That does not mean I do not attend every event but I am now choosing rather than just going to anything and everything simply because I can.
The beauty is for the first time ever, I do not feel I am missing anything.

  276. Life’s classroom that is offered by Universal Medicine is a perfect transition to allowing us to be simply as we are in the world with all. When we are living connected to ourselves we are innately connected with all.

  277. I love going to this classroom whenever I get the opportunity. In this ‘school’ I learn so much about myself and humanity generally and always feel like I have not only moved forward in my life but also have some clarity about where to next. I also realise that I am a mini ‘classroom’ myself and the more I learn to accept that I have a lot of wisdom inside of me, the more I am teaching myself about love.

  278. This is so true of a the teachings through Serge Benhayon and the line that stands out is “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us”. Teachers are all around us everyday as they are each other – there is always something to learn and particularly so at a Universal medicine event. Thank you Chrissy for sharing how education can 🙂

  279. So true Chrissy – it is true eduction where all are met for who they truly are, and all are held equally and responsible for the quality of their own lives. From this foundation we can take this loving expression out into our everyday lives.

  280. Wow Chrissy how you describe this is exactly how I have also felt Universal Medicine presentations to be. What amazing gift we have to such a classroom. I am blown away regularly by the love shown. This universal wisdom is the best form of education -ever.

  281. This is so delightful, so simple and details exactly what it is like to attend the presentations that Universal Medicine offer. What you have written has equally been my experience. I love your line…..”the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom…”

  282. I love the simplicity of this blog Chrissy and the reminder that Universal Medicine presentations offer true teachings that inspire and support many to evolve.

    1. Yes me too…I love this blog…what a great reminder of what a true classroom could look like…what an inspiration to live by and manifest.

    1. I agree too Bernadette – this is our classroom of the future and these are the type of topics our young people would be far more interested in as it confirms their purpose and the truth of who they are.

  283. A simply beautiful reflection of what it is to be in the Universal Classroom Chrissy where we are students of life and of ourselves without an iota of judgement or pressure. It is a homecoming and we get to meet other magnificent souls like yourself!

  284. Its a beautiful feeling of returning home every time you enter into the doors and the many smiling faces lights up the room. I love it!

  285. I so enjoy coming back to your blog Chrissy, it is a classroom that allows you to just be, with no imposition or expectations. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if school was like this.”Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both,”

  286. Loved the flash back Chrissy – smiling as I remember my own entry into Life’s classroom with huge amounts of awkwardness also. Only to feel it was an all inclusive, everyone welcome, supportive environment to just grow and expand with the wisdom that was being presented by an amazing teacher – Serge Benhayon.

  287. This blog offers an opportunity to appreciate what we have available to us anytime we choose. Thank you Chrissy.

  288. A stunning overview of not just being a student but of what is on offer with Universal Medicine. ‘To All With Love’.

  289. Oh, and the final dot point also stood out, that we do already know everything. This is contrary to what I’ve been educated with in this life, and yet the concept that I already know everything sits so easily inside me, as Serge Benhayon has presented time and time again. Our particles have been around and around the universe and are no different to anyone else’s. This is so beautiful to be aware of.

    1. Suzanne, I love the image of the particles that make me having been round and round the universe, all mixed up with everyone elses, it makes any thoughts of separation ludicrous, and feeling the one-ness IS beautiful.

  290. Gorgeous approach to education Chrissy. I liked point 2, the teachers stand amongst us, not before us. What a classroom where the teachers know innately, and the students know innately that we are equal, just with different skills we have already learnt in this lifetime.

  291. Never have I enjoyed being a student as much as I do now. Never have I learned as much as I have by learning to listen to my heart. And never have I had a guide and an inspiration as the one that I have found in Serge Benhayon.

    1. Absolutely Naren – this is true education. Ageless wisdom that we all know inherently within.

    2. Yes, I’m with you on this Naren. Nor have I ever so open to learning from and with others; appreciating we all bring something unique that no other can deliver.

      1. It is that appreciation Karin, that there is so much on offer from so many that has truly been eye (and heart) opening.

  292. Chrissy this is beautiful. I too love this Classroom, it’s definitely the most educational I have ever had the pleasure of being part of. Life changing, inspiring. Loving and friendly. No rehashed or memorised words on any subject and open to all who wish to attend and grow in wisdom.

  293. Imagine if our education system had the same curriculum as Universal Medicine, what a different world we would be living in

    1. Oh just imagine!..I am working on bringing it into the curriculum as much as possible every moment that I have the opportunity to do it. And each time I have my students confirm its relevance by soaking it up like sponges. Incredible to witness.

    2. Whole heartedly with you on this Joe. The question we need to ask is ‘Why do we not have in our education curriculum the basic principles of energetic awareness, self care, self love, body awareness etc’. These principles are after all foundations that support us to be aware of ourselves and others and therefore aid us in whatever job or situation we may find ourselves in.

  294. Coming back to this blog makes me realise the reflection offered by this gesture .. Likened to a revolving door where I am continually cycling around coming back into the classroom then back out again to have another crack at expressing all of who I am, them back in for more insights and a deepening of my new found understanding, then back out again until one day the cycling around becomes one and the same thing with no divide.

    1. A lovely expansion of the blog, Suzanne. The revolving door is a great image and everyday is a new day I enter the classroom not knowing what is going to be presented and what I will learn.

    2. And there is such freedom in what you share Suzanne because it takes away the sense of having to get somewhere and get it right the first time. In a cycle (or revolving door) we keep going around and around and such more insights are available and opportunity to deepen our awareness and understanding of life.

    3. Yes Suzanne, each new sunrise brings another opportunity to relive the same day with more of ourselves. Beautifully expressed!

  295. So true Chrissy, I could not agree with you more that life is humanities classroom to be lived and shared with all that we meet, as we all have the opportunity to be touched by some of us who brings truth and some of us that brings love, the love of a true society… there is homework to be done.

  296. Natural, living philosophy in action, learning together from intelligence of the universe, through our amazing teacher Serge Benhayon.

  297. Such a beautiful analogy Chrissy. Everywhere I walk when I have an awareness of my feet connected to the ground I walk on, when I feel the gentle caress of my breath against the tip of my nose, when I feel the openness of my chest expanding, then here I walk in God’s classroom where the message is loud and clear forever calling me to expand the living way of love I am in relationship to all that is.

  298. Chrissy love your blog, what an amazing classroom it is and I have been blessed to be a part of this classroom. “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both.” How awesome is this we are all touched by love and truth, every classroom should be touched by this, how magical would it be where the foundation is based on truth and love.

  299. I can feel the joy with what you share with us Chrissy. My feeling now as I walk into ‘Life’s classroom’ – of Universal Medicine is one of coming home to what feels truth – to the known that I’ve held back from living and sharing with the world.

  300. Chrissy I love your playful but truthful description of Life’s classroom at Universal medicine with Serge Benhayon.
“Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…”-very powerful, and truly life evolving experience.

  301. “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both”
I feel such brotherhood and love in what you have written here Chrissy.
What an absolute joy to be in Serge’s classroom; what a contrast to the regular classrooms we are familiar with.

  302. ‘….a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self.’ And there it is, the golden nugget. Thanks Chrissy!

  303. Never have I enjoyed being in a classroom as much as I have when I walk into a Universal Medicine class of any description. I walk in knowing I will be challenged, I will learn, I will grow and I will always carry more of myself out into the world.

  304. After attending the ‘classroom’ of Universal Medicine I wished that school was like this when I was young, that way I would have been fully engaged and loving every minute of it! It’s a school based on people, real life and love, now that’s my kind of classroom.

    1. Lovely katechorley, I had the same wish after attending the “classroom” of Universal Medicine. I have to admit that I was a bit sad that our “school system is not based on people, real life and love” because I was missing the joy at school when I was young. So for me it is a very beautiful idea if our real class rooms are more like Universal Medicine present.

  305. ‘To Serge with love” – priceless and so spot on! It brings it all back to knowing that life is a classroom; we are here to learn from each and every moment, no getting it right or wrong. Just knowing we are enough the minute we walk into the room.

  306. Universal Medicine presents humanity the opportunity to be part of this classroom with a foundation on equality, truth and integrity for all. Learning about life, the universe and the inner wisdom within us all could not be any easier and more joyful.

  307. Chrissy, I loved your short spot on blog. I choose to be a student in this classroom forever.

  308. What a beautiful classroom, I love what you share “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” this is so awesome we already know our journey is to connect and return back to the all knowing we all have within. This classroom really allows us to reflect and remember, no judgement, no criticism just pure love and support to find our own path. Once we have our connection to reflect this in the world through our Livingness.

  309. For many years I knew there was so much more to life, and since I have found Universal Medicine it has been a blessing to find a school of philosophy that truly looks at all of life in its entirety and that leaves no stone unturned in looking for truth and love. Thank you Serge Benhayon for opening my eyes again to a world I always knew but never felt I could share with anyone else.

  310. Likening the lessons in life that are presented to us all day everyday to a classroom is just so true Chrissy – I love it, particularly when you point out ‘the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…’ Awesome blog.

  311. I remember my first time in this classroom feeling totally awkward, not having done any sort of workshop even slightly similar before, wanting to be anywhere rather than there. This feeling soon melted away as I started hearing the truth for the first time in my life. It can be challenging at times but has to be the best classroom ever.

  312. “Life’s classroom” – a forever learning and training ground to be all that we are once again. To be respected, and held in equalness- Thank you Chrissy. This is the type of classroom I/and I am sure we all have always wanted to be a part of…and it is all about letting go of this baggage (that is weighing us down)!

  313. It is indeed a great classroom to be in, there is nothing imposed on us. And everything is clearly represented as something we already know, and we are reminded to live this knowledge in our daily lives. And I have to say it always a joy-full happening.

  314. Finally with Universal Medicine we’ve found a true place of learning and being; where each and every one of us is a teacher AND a student.

    1. Every student is a forever student and every teacher and forever student – opens the scope for all to learn and who does the teaching, doesn’t it!

  315. Great blog. A school of life where we are the students and teachers of ourselves with the subject of every lesson being love and truth.

  316. “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both”. I love this line Chrissy, it’s so true, this is exactly how I feel when I attend a Universal Medicine Event, or simply catching up with fellow students.

  317. Great revisit to your story Chrissy, In so many ways it’s about life’s lessons in the big classroom of the everyday world as we do our best to live the truth of who we really are and not be overly influenced or put off by those things we could call the playground bullies!

  318. Yes this is one ever evolving classroom and one I am always eager to attend…no ‘wagging’ here. A lovely reflection of a Universal classroom Chrissy.

  319. Beautiful Chrissy, ‘reflection in life’s big classroom…’ This is so true. I have come to realise that everything that is presented to me in life is one big lesson. I am a student of life, learning to return to truth and love.

  320. Hi Chrissy, what a amazing way to share with us what Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon shares with us all whenever we meet. To me it is the best and most loving classroom I have ever been in also. One that I happy to be a Student of for the rest of my life.

  321. ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us’ the equality of this is so beautiful and also the reflection that we all can be to each other is a constant learning and evolving.

  322. I am a forever student of this AMAZING classroom. AAHHH… That classroom blows my mind every time I am sitting in it. When I think of my old classroom in school, what a freeing and liberating feeling this gives me.

    1. What an amazing classroom indeed and I feel the same Steffi. Whenever I attend an event at Universal Medicine, I leave feeling inspired, light, joyful and amazing. There is no other feeling like this in any of my previous classes or events I have attended pre Universal Medicine. This part by Chrissy I love, ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us… Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both’. This is why I love being in the Universal classroom of Universal Medicine, it presents absolute Truth and Love.

  323. ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us… Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both’ – The essence of Universal Medicine divinely captured. A truly beautiful sharing.

  324. I love reading you words Chrissy, so light and fun. What a classroom, a classroom I never want to leave and have a break from. A classroom ‘where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart’.

  325. I felt a surge of love as I read this delightful blog, that is exactly it.

  326. I agree Chrissy there is a familiarity going to the Universal Medicine events, not only with the people, but a knowing that I know deep inside me what is being presented, but walked away from that knowing a long time ago.

  327. The only thing I feel is missing from your simple list Chrissy, is that every class is different and the only thing that is presented is what we are ready to accept at that moment, but the choice is still always ours to do so.

  328. Beautiful Chrissy, a classroom “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us”.- A true education where we are all equal, supporting each other in our unfolding back to ourselves in full.

  329. Chrissy I too love the universal classroom and the continual learning that unfolds everyday. A forever student and loving it.

    1. There’s no classification or elitism in an environment where all are pulled upward, regardless of their stage in evolution. Beautiful.

  330. Life’s classroom – the best classroom I have ever attended. “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both”.

  331. This is so lovely to read Chrissy. Life lessons come as blessings when we understand the bigger picture. We are all in this together and affect each other in all that we do. Universal Medicine is showing the way of living life through the untouched essence of our inner hearts and sharing that beauty with the world (knowing full well that we each hold this beauty within).

  332. I am really enjoying being in this classroom and I am constantly evolving in how I express and expand into the world. Fantastic!

  333. Chrissy thank you for your reflections of being at a Universal Medicine Presentation. i can relate to much of your experience and I absolutely love “To Serge, with love”.

  334. A simple and beautiful blog Chrissy that sums up the love and support available to all in the ‘Universal classroom.’

  335. A classroom so inclusive, where each is equal to the other, where we find answers to life’s questions, where love is king. A classroom that keeps on expanding and attracting more and more students. It is the most important classroom we will ever step into.

    1. Patricia, I love what you have written. Love is king. It’s lovely how our classroom keeps expanding. There is room for everyone as everyone is welcomed. There are no cool kids or nerds, everyone is equal and everyone has a role to play in this classroom.

  336. Chrissy, so simple and true, loved your line here: “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us” – without temporal hierarchy and as equals, we are one: we are our teacher’s teachers. Beautiful.

  337. We are students and family at the same time, sharing the love we are.

  338. A classroom which offers true support and love and where everyone is welcome and accepted.

  339. School homework – depending on the subject I either liked or disliked. I would get very agitated/anxious if there was a red pen mark stating ‘see me’ at the end of my presented work. Homework in life’s classroom altogether different. The subject matter is well known by us all, no judgement, no telling off just be all of who we are.
    A beautiful sharing Chrissy.

  340. This is really beautiful Chrissy as it is such a true reflection of the classroom I too have equally joined – offered the opportunity to live and be the truth of who we are.

  341. Lovely sharing Chrissy – Yes this is one classroom that has my undivided attention – no playing truant here.

  342. Love the inclusiveness of this which has been my experience at Universal Medicine courses.

  343. Such a great classroom to be a part of Chrissy! I keep coming back, that’s for sure!

  344. Chrissy, this feels so light what you share here. And the reflection we have from Serge Benhayon and his family and the listening to the truth in our own body feels awesome. There is always something which pulls us into a deeper awareness if we allow being pulled.

  345. Yes, its a classroom I can’t wait to study in, and the homework is something I love to do. We are all teachers and we are all students and no-one ever gets bad marks, just now and then a realisation that there is something more to develop and learn. Leading on to much appreciation when that something is learned and mastered. I have never loved learning so much.

    1. Love this Jeanette,”no-one ever gets bad marks, just now and then a realisation that there is something more to develop and learn.” Our classroom becomes our daily life and our choices then reflect the lessons we learn.

  346. “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self….” Wow that is great lesson on that every educational system on the planet could benefit from!

  347. What an amazing classroom the presentations of Universal Medicine are, over the last few years I have been always met with the same level of love, care and non-judgement. Whatever is going on for me, if I’m closed down, withdrawn and heavily judging myself or full of joy and self appreciation, I’m met with the same level love and care.

  348. Revisiting this blog is a gift that keeps on giving. Beautiful words – “Where some of us bring love and some of us bring truth……. but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both’. In appreciation of God’s Classroom and the support of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.

  349. Love this blog Chrissy and I love going to this classroom because of all the reasons you stated. It has re-imprinted all of my school years. This is the way all classrooms need to be. Universal Medicine is leading the way in all aspects of learning , schooling and in fact every thing, humanity just has to catch up with us.

    1. yes Marylouisemyers, it is re-imprinting our experience of learning, from feeling like I know nothing and need to be filled up by an expert, to being already full and shown how to let that out.

  350. So simple yet so spot on. This is exactly what my experience has been and is when I attend any of Universal Medicine courses/workshops. Simply deepening the relationship with myself to be more of who I am to share with everyone I meet.

  351. What a lovely blog. Thank you, Chrissy. Everything we learn at this classroom of Universal Medicine is all about us, and us living our life – the very thing that matters most, and what we really should be taught at every school, but are not.

  352. I love reading this blog Chrissy and boy oh boy what a great classroom it is, where we the teachers are all amongst us and reflecting back all of the time.

  353. Lovely description of how it feels to share in a Serge Benhayon presentation. What resonated with me was are we are willing to let go of our ‘baggage’, and are we are willing to go out in the world and live who we truly are. From my experience it is amazing what there is to learn about ourselves and the world when this occurs.

  354. I love how simple and clear this is Chrissy. Beautifully expressed thank you

    1. I love this Michael. A classroom where we all offer reflections and learning to each other. Where everyone is the ‘one’ equally.

  355. So beautifully and playfully expressed, Chrissy. A classroom I have longed to set foot in since the day I started school at the age of 6.

  356. Hey, I know this space – the modern classroom of the future/the ancient classroom of the past. Thankyou Chrissy for the eternal reminder that we are forever students of the inner heart.

  357. I love the Universal Classroom and I enjoyed this lovely blog. thank you Chrissy.

  358. This classroom you describe Chrissy is where I have learnt so much about myself and about humanity. I have attended many classrooms by other organisations but they have never felt right or had the same quality of energy as Universal Medicine. What an amazing classroom I have discovered..

  359. Chrissy your playfulness is beautiful and everything you say is exactly how it is. Universal Medicine is the best school I have every been to and one that is deeply loving and makes sure no one is left behind.

  360. It’s the most unifying classroom I have ever been in, and constantly enjoy to attend, there is nothing imposed on me, I can just be as I am, and share everything I learned from the years attending and my daily livingness.

  361. I really enjoyed the simple and yet expansive message here, expansive in that I do agree that we are here to learn and there is opportunity to do this all the time. I also agree it has been amazing to be in an environment where learning is naturally fun, playful, never boring and immensely rewarding and relatable to daily life. Such a place is Universal Medicine.

  362. Beautiful simplicity to read this, thank you. I used to hate homework from school days, but this homework, ‘to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom’ is homework worth investing in.
    Share this:

  363. “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…” This is beautiful to re-read. I am back in that ‘Universal’ classroom this week and I echo every point you made and it feels amazing.

  364. Wow Chrissy all I can say is the power of which you express expands from within my heart. Gorgeous.

  365. Yes a true classroom indeed. Where was group work of this kind at school?

  366. Hello Chrissy. I promised myself to never go back to school because I found school not very pleasant – but in your classroom I would love to be – there is so much joy and playfulness and lessons like, “simply listen to our inner heart” – wunderbar.

    1. Yes esteralrmiks, I’d like Chrissy as a teacher too! School based on love and truth; imagine the quality of relationships and I can assure you there would be loads of joy!

  367. Yes that line stood out for me as well Brendan. I am beginning to realise more and more that it is up to all of us to bring what we can to any situation and together we make the whole.

  368. I love this one Chrissy : Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both.

You’ve captured it so perfectly too – life is one big classroom you can learn from!

  369. I love this classroom ‘where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart’. So joyful to be in with all of you!

  370. I have just reread your blog Chrissy, it is so simple yet so powerful.
“Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart”
I will be particularly inspired to listen to my inner heart, with love and tenderness,

  371. It is amazing to enter a Universal Medicine course it is the ease and quality of the room that is very obvious. The quality of every interaction with any body supporting the course. Amazing.

    1. You’re correct kevmchardy, No tests! We do have homework assignments to be carried out every day – but they can be fun.

  372. Chrissy,
Delightful, joyous, I know the classroom you are talking about ehst a classroom. The beauty of this classroom that I have discovered for myself is that I am in it every day. Each day brings to me more understanding and love, each day I discover more ways to honor myself, my family, friends and all of humanity. This is truly humanity’s classroom, to be lived and shared with all that we meet.

    1. Love the comment leighstrack. ‘This is truly humanity’s classroom, to be lived and shared with all that we meet’. The joy of waking to that each day is boundless.

    2. Yes I agree leighstrack, in this classroom our ‘homework’ is life, to live and breathe all we have re- discovered, and what a joy that is. This is my kinda homework.

  373. Indeed what a classroom it is Chrissy, thank you.
    I loved reading your post and like Brendan was particularly struck by;
“Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both”

  374. I so enjoy coming back to your blog Chrissy, so playful and full of love. Universal Medicine is the best classroom in the world ……. “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both.”

  375. A brilliant piece of writing Chrissy reflecting the brilliance of you. I am honored to be part of this universal classroom where I am constantly inspired by Serge Benhayon and the student body to live the ALL that I am.

  376. Thanks Chrissy. I am inspired to walk the true me in life’s classroom, so that I always have me with me and reflect that to the world.

  377. I am learning more and more each day what is on offer in life’s amazing classroom a chance to view the world in a whole new way.

  378. I love the part that the teachers stand beside us, we all know, the only thing they do is remind us of it.

  379. What a sweet and playful piece of wisdom, this is of the classrooms that one day might just be for our future, classrooms full of warmth, acceptance, understanding, honouring who we truly are far more than what we might know, or regurgitate from a text book. Classrooms where the underlying learning is to love ourselves deeply and open up our hearts to everyone around us. That’s why every Universal Medicine event is so amazing — it is like the classroom we all longed for but didn’t receive when we were little — but here it is now and it’s awesome!

  380. So true Chrissy and it truly does have a resemblance to that movie. What a blessing to have this experience that Serge has encouraged us to blossom in and with. Every day and moment is touched by this experience of truth and love.

  381. “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us”…. we are all teachers of this world and students. Love the simplicity of what you present, very beautiful!!

  382. Chrissy, how simply beauty fully expressed I love your playfulness. ” To Serge With Love.”

  383. So beautifully expressed Chrissy … Love the reference to “To Sir / Serge with love” … A song sung in absolute appreciation for all that was shared by a group of students who found themselves in a classroom with a loving and caring teacher who helped prepare them for life and living who they knew in all their hearts to be.

  384. Thanks Chrissy , I totally concur – like no other class room I have been in and a true marker of what a classroom is.

  385. Just gorgeous Chrissy! A true classroom where one truly learns and never wants to leave:))

  386. Love it Chrissy. A favourite line, “Where one voice is heard by many hearts”. Ever since I first heard Serge Benhayon speak, I have felt that his voice has spoken the truth within all of our hearts, for and on behalf of us all – a life-changing realisation and experience for me, after a lifetime around ‘the voice’ and singing in particular, to hear, feel and experience someone communicate in this way.
That he continues to consistently do so, profoundly shows just what is possible for us all, in this ‘classroom’ of life, as you’ve so called it to be. A delightful blog, thank-you!

  387. There are so many teachers amongst us, that there is no leaving anyone behind, in this classroom of life

  388. I love that our study is to simply listen to our inner heart. What a fun classroom

  389. This is beautiful Chrissy, I so enjoyed reading your blog and experiencing this awesome universal classroom with “To Serge, with love”.

  390. Yes, I want to be in that classroom, and how unusual it is to find everything you say in a classroom. That is why the first time I attended a workshop by Universal Medicine, I found it very weird, weird in the sense of unusual, there was something very peculiar, unimposing, light and clear. Lovely blog.

  391. ‘where our simple study is to listen to our inner heart’. Listening to my inner heart makes life so playful, loving and light.

  392. Seeing life as our classroom sure changes perspectives and knowing that all we need to do is to simply listen to our inner heart takes away any pressure or expectations of how we should be. I find that when i am approaching life this way I get lessons left and right but all of them so gentle and loving and all of them an opportunity to grow and be more of who I am.

  393. ‘Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart’
So then we begin to develop our loving hearts and ageless wisdom that is already apart of us instead of thinking we are learning something new✨

  394. Chrissy thank you for your blog, and what an amazing classroom it is. One I’m always looking forward to come back to, one where I feel I’m held as an equal and most importantly a classroom that is always about love. Can’t get much better than that can it?

  395. This is Gold Chrissy and I can totally relate to those first very self-conscious steps. How glorious now to be a loving living simply truly.

  396. Yes, it is a classroom of life, it is very simple, true, natural and we can live like this in our daily lives….it’s about us not just me.

    1. Very true Karoline. The best thing about this classroom is you are not judged for having previously wagged. Just welcomed back in with an open heart and left to pick up where you left off. Not so bad after all…

  397. ‘Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom . . . a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self . . .’ An amazing reminder to reflect in the universal classroom of life. Thank you for this awesome blueprint of how learning can be.

  398. That is so beautiful Chrissy, we will never stop learning from life’s classroom.

  399. Chrissy the simplicity with which you have expressed this brings the true power and joy of what is offered in the Universal Medicine classroom. Imagine when every classroom is again like this.

  400. Awesome Chrissy! A classroom that would have changed my life much sooner had it been that way from early on…when my baggage had less stuff in it.

  401. Well said. It’s the best class I’ve ever enrolled-in! And, I look forward to each semester… 🙂

  402. Thank you Chrissy for your wisdom and playfulness in this blog –
“I am in a Universal Classroom with “To Serge, With Love” – well said ! I know it’s the only classroom I have experienced what true learning is all about.

  403. Thanks Chrissy, reading your article reminded me of my first Universal Medicine course. I love your bullet point list.

  404. Chrissy that is so gorgeously succinct. Your article got me pondering whether your description of what a classroom is, could be the same for children’s classrooms ? If we all know everything already then surely children’s classrooms in the future will simply be about drawing out what is already in there, rather than cramming and stuffing a whole heap of reconstituted rubbish into every crevice of an already all knowing child !

  405. So fun yet so profound. Thank you Chrissy. I agree with Lieke – I loved reading your capital letters ALREADY. What a joy it is to be met by Serge, a man who honours the fact that each and every human being on the planet is simply love even when we are far from living it.

  406. An accurate and playful essay on ‘school’ and the ‘universal classroom’ Unimed style. Love it. If all education was this way, it would be so simple and so much more fun……

  407. “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom…” I love this too about the teachings of Universal Medicine – to learn to live again in a way that is already known deep within ourselves and when it is presented by Serge Benhayon I go like ‘yep I already knew that, just forgotten in all the intensity that life can be.’

    1. Yes Lieke I love this sentence too, such a simple and beautiful sharing Chrissy! A classroom that builds on that life is brotherhood and not only teaches it, but lives it. Thats the exceptional thing about Serge Benhayon, he walks the talk, there is no difference between the teaching and the livingness.

    2. This is what our education system, our daily interactions and our lives lived with every-one should be like. It should be normal to feel love and truth and warmth with everyone.

      1. I agree Joshua, it should be normal, and what a wonderful world it will be when we ALL re-turn to the true normal.

    1. True learning is the only learning, and for once I LOVE being in the classroom, thank you Vanessa and thank you Chrissy for being in the classroom with me.

  408. Chrissy these are great and so spot on. So true how you say the only thing we bring is our own baggage which you always walk out having let go of an enormous amount. It is rare to go somewhere and participate in something that leaves you lighter than having taken on more ‘stuff’.

  409. True education, ‘where one voice is heard by many hearts’ beautiful and so wonderful to be in this classroom.

  410. Yep.. This captures what I have felt in my experiences with Universal Medicine, hence why I continue to attend events.

  411. Thank you Chrissy. And isn’t that the truth about what we bring and what we take away with us and how we are held in the Universal Medicine environment, by all.

  412. What a wonderful classroom it is to, and I won’t be running away from it as I did when I first started school.

  413. Wow! Reading this blog has taken me to an even deeper appreciation for the classroom that Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine offer. One where we are met in love, truth and joy. Imagine if this was the type of classroom that every child entered when they went to school. Wouldn’t the world be a different place.

  414. Chrissy your words here struck a beautiful cord of brotherhood felt with-joy and so deeply… “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us”.

  415. It is the most beautiful experience of my life to be part of this ageless and ceiling-less school, Universal Medicine. Just today I thought to myself: I forever wanted life to be like this: light and harmonious. And I found it: together in School with the most amazing outstanding fellow students.

  416. Awesome Chrissy. My curiosity and joy for true learning has been sparked once again by Universal Mediicine . Re-learning to be the love that I am. Beautiful.

  417. Ha, love it Chrissy and great to be with you and the many that attend life’s classroom – this for me is true education.

  418. Attending any of the Universal Medicine events is just like you describe Chrissy. There is a feeling of being free to be myself and that is precious.

  419. Great metaphor of the class room and yes, the only homework we have is to take with us what we already know, that we are one all together.

  420. Thank you for sharing this Chrissy. What stands out to me in this article is that in this classroom/study we are all, not just allowed, but encouraged to simply be ourselves and knowing that that is enough. Quite different to how the world (different arenas) usually meets us.

  421. Great blog Chrissy. Where Universal Medicine for me stand out from other teachings which I have come across, apart from the sheer endless amount of love is that, as you say ‘the teachers stand amongst us, not before us’. Serge Benhayon stands and holds us all as equals – no matter what our situation is or who we are.

  422. Chrissy, simple and exquisite, I love it. It’s there ready always and waiting once we get self out of the way.

  423. ha ha Chrissy I love it. I agree, the Universal Medicine classroom has been all of that and lots of fun…once I get past by baggage compartment 🙂

  424. You so exactly sum up the Universal Medicine ‘classroom’ Chrissy. The equality of all the students, Serge Benahyon included, forms the unshakeable foundation of the School of the Livingness. It is a grand example of ‘higher’ education in its purest form.

  425. Awesome Chrissy! You crack me up! My favourite line is :
‘Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom’.

  426. Just beautiful in its simplicity – and sums up the essence of Universal Medicine’s approach.

  427. I loved reading this and reflected how much I have changed since I first met Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine. A lot has changed I feel so more connected to me, I no longer look on the outside to be ‘fixed’ but know it is up to me and the choices I make. I also KNOW that love never left me it was always within me the whole time, it’s just a matter of walking towards it instead of away from it. I am healthier, have relationships that are solid and true and my body feels clearer, healthier and stronger, I am so much more present with myself and others than I used to be and can appreciate my tenderness and delicateness as a women .. the list could go on and on .. and this is forever unfolding and changing in ways that amazes me. Everything you wrote is so true but today this really called out to me “where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart,”

  428. And what a classroom it is! A place of unending patience and support as it is not a place where I am treated as not knowing of the subject matter but that I just need reminding that I already know it and have the ability to express what I innately know.

  429. What a beautifully put synopsis of Universal Medicine. This is it at its essence. That teachers are amongst us, that love and truth is the study, that what is taught is already known. I adored reading this. What a true telling of the amazingness we walk into each time we go to a Universal Medicine event.

  430. Brilliant blog – “where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us”, this is an absolutely unique approach in a ‘classroom’ or learning environment, I love it! It makes sense though, as all of my experiences of Universal Medicine, backed up by what you write in this article – is that it is all about learning how to return to something we already know – and if we all already innately know the subject, then there would be no reason for there to be anything else but equality.

  431. This is such a delightful blog. Reading every one of the points you use to describe the Universal Classroom makes my heart sing. A great inspiration for the quality of regard and honour in which we can hold all people in all situations. What a gift.

  432. How awesome would this be if every classroom was how you have so beautifully expressed. ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us” Thank you Chrissy 🙂

  433. Gorgeous blog. I love many of the lines but this one in particular stands out for me, “Where the only homework we ever get is to take THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom… a classroom that only divides us if we separate from self…”

  434. Imagine if we brought this form of teaching into the classrooms? How amazing would it be for children to understand equality, love and truth from such a young age.

  435. “Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us” – this is so refreshingly true. I’ve never been imposed on or talked down to at a Universal Medicine presentation.

  436. The best “classroom rules” ever. Imagine if we had these on our school’s classroom doors as we entered?

  437. Beautifully simple, gorgeous content, I too, do love this classroom! With heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation to the founder and presenter of Universal Medicine, Serge Benhayon. As you say Chrissie …” To Serge, With Love”…

  438. I so love this blog. It perfectly expresses my experience of learning at the Universal Medicine workshops and events. And I also have been inspired and supported to take the same experience and understanding out of the workshops and more and more into the rest of my life.

  439. I feel the same way Chrissy…
This is exactly the classroom I have always longed for!
Not to mention content. I could never understand why, all through “school”, no one presented ANYthing about how to make wise choices,
WHY we choose harmful things, how to handle the inner conflicts and turbulence we all feel OR ANYthing about Love…
AND why can’t learning begin with a foundation of honor and respect for the wisdom inside each and every one of us??
Now I know that it CAN. I have a huge appreciation for the very honoring and non imposing ‘classroom’ Serge offers to all equally.

  440. This is so lovely Chrissy. I have just completed a Universal Medicine Workshop and read your blog this morning. I went through the list and can say a resounding yes to all you wrote. If we connect to truth this is what we too can bring to our classrooms, workshops and presentations.

  441. Ah, I have just read this blog again, I love it and how you write ‘Where the teachers stand amongst us, not before us’. This is so true, the teachers are with us reflecting to us and being reflected from us, we are all together.

  442. I have heard people say why do I need to learn calculus? When in my life will I ever use it? What is taught in your class would be used everyday.

    1. Oh gosh absolutely, well said these are life lessons we ALL need to help support us evolve. This is what we should be learning. These lessons should be taught in schools and become first and foremost then the quality and consistency of the other work would be seen, because the quality and consistency in people would change. I cannot wait for this to happen!

  443. Universal Medicine, where the “subject matter is brought by us and includes us all” Very much so, and always of great relevance to everyone. There is a magical quality in the inclusiveness of Universal Medicine presentations, everything is for all.

    1. If only ordinary classrooms could be so honouring of each person’s unfolding process. Not only are we encouraged to ask questions in Universal Medicine presentations, Serge Benhayon takes time to clarify exactly what is being asked or shared. Every speaker is offered a microphone so their own words can be heard by us all. If we have not understood, Serge Benhayon will find a different way to express what he has said.

    2. This is so true of Universal Medicine and unlike any classroom scenario I have ever encountered ever before. We are not only the students but the teachers too and everyone stands amongst each other equally.

  444. So true, Chrissy, so much more love, truth and equality than any class I ever attended at school. Thank you for sharing.

  445. The beautiful thing that I find about learning from the teachings of Universal Medicine is the choice we have to discern for ourselves through our own lived experience if what it presents is of truth or not. For me, the classroom extends out to the world where every person and every situation I come across is an opportunity to learn about being connected to and expressing from my precious innermost.

  446. Your article makes it very easy for everyone to understand how everyone benefits when they step into the classroom of Universal Medicine. Your article needs to be broadcast far and wide, Chrissy, so that many may enter Life’s Classroom. I would just like to add, that those who do make their way there always feel immediately that this classroom is like no other they have ever been in before. In this class you are given the opportunity to be your own teacher and eventually become a Master of Life.

  447. Thank you Chrissy – this was the first real classroom I attended that actually held my attention as I lose interest very quickly. This was real and I was not feeling any push and for the first time in my life I was not sold anything. I was presented with what I felt I already knew deep down inside me and it made sense. Imagine if all classrooms today were like this – where you could actually be the real you and be accepted for that.

  448. This is a classroom I would have like to have attended when I was a child. What is great to feel here is that these types of classrooms are possible with what we now know to be true, all that is needed is for schools to start to see that this is how we would truly like to be met in schools and from their school would be an amazing place to develop our own relationship with ourselves.

  449. “Life’s classroom…a classroom that only divides us if we seperate from self.” How very true. Thank you Chrissy.

  450. Hi Chrissy, great blog. Thank you for sharing. So true and profound. I really enjoyed the line “Where our only study is to simply listen to our inner heart”.

  451. I really enjoyed and appreciated your list of what happens in the ‘Universal classroom’ It felt very supportive to read this blog.” I was drawn to this quote: “…THAT which I ALREADY know I am and be that reflection in life’s big classroom,…” Thank you for sharing.

  452. Hi Chrissy, I always find its like coming home when I attend the Universal Medicine workshops and I agree Sue every classroom should feel like that – equal and non imposing.

  453. Gorgeous blog – thankyou Chrissy. I love Steve’s point about equality – we are all held equal, because everyone of us is equal inside. How wonderful if this were to be the way in every classroom and schoolroom of the future too, as Alison mentioned – wisdom from the inside out, not being filled with knowledge from the outside in.

  454. I so enjoyed re-reading this again, so light hearted and true and a lovely reminder of what an amazing opportunity we have to learn from this universal classroom. This could be the class room in years to come, no books or study just listening to our inner hearts.

  455. So my experience of a Universal Classroom is that it’s so different to a school classroom. In school I used to find it was all about what I achieved, did or said that confirmed whether I was any good in life.
In a Universal Medicine classroom all I am asked to do is be myself and no more, no less.
    Awesome.

  456. You’ve captured the Universal Medicine events beautifully, I have never felt anything like it. If all classrooms were like this…!

  457. In the past I often left my homework to the last minute, however since attending the universal classroom, I am starting to feel the value that comes when I start and put time into my homework. My homework is my daily choices, choosing to allow myself to be me. I am also seeing how these classes really support us to study with ease, when we are willing to learn and when we take responsibility for our part.

  458. I love this blog, and I love the classroom that Chrissy speaks of. I have never left that classroom not touched by both love and truth, and feeling way more joyful than when I entered.

  459. I love this blog article Chrissy, thank you so much. It’s really reminded me of all the love that pours through the doors at a Universal Medicine events. I love your reference to all we bring is our baggage, it’s always great to distinguish that it’s ok to come with all of who you are…beautiful.

  460. Wow, all I could do was feel my heart expand more and more with every word I read. That is truth in a nutshell and should be read by all.

    1. Very true Jenny, it is very important that our schools start to adopt these ways of learning as the current ways have not worked as they do not support children to be themselves.

  461. A really beautiful and touching article and sharing, thank you. The line “Where some of us bring truth and some of us bring love, but we all leave having had the opportunity to be touched by both,” was especially amazing for me.

  462. This is a really informative piece Chrissy, I have not heard the cycle described in this way before and it allows me to go deeper with it. So simple and so true. Love it, thank you.

  463. The first Heart Chakra I attended, I had no idea of what it was about… before it started there was this handyman that was setting up more chairs in the hall. The handyman was Serge Benhayon. That reminds me of “The razor’s edge” where the man washing dishes was the owner of the restaurant and he enjoyed doing it because everyone is equal.

    1. Steve, love your comment..and yes, Serge is a very handy man to have around – am reminded of handyman adverts that say ‘no job to small, everything considered’. I certainly feel that I am given full consideration and love in the Universal Medicine classrooms that Chrissy has described….and beyond

    2. I love your comment, because I feel it really captured how deep Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine’s team equality goes.

    3. Very true Steve, ‘everyone is equal’. Several times I have witnessed Serge Benhayon either moving things about or tidying up. For him there is no distinction, we are all the same, and that, I find, is very inspirational.

  464. I love this. So playful and so true. Right from the beginning you were talking what is in my heart, even your flashback of how you first walked into a Universal Medicine workshop. These classrooms have provided the most deeply learning, inspiring, healing, joyful experiences of my life, and my life and expression is so much richer as a direct result. Using the Sidney Poitier’s film “To Sir, With Love” caption and changing it to “To Serge, With Love” is playful and funny, but for me it kind of fits!

  465. Beautifully and playfully written Chrissy….. I love where you share…. I am in a universal class room with “To Serge with love”, where our only study is to listen to our inner heart.

… A most important study that embraces all equally so.

  466. Awesome, so simple and yet so profound. I love the lightness with which you have expressed this and agree whole-heartedly. Thank you.

  467. This is so so true! I’m certainly touched by both the truth and love that you brought with this blog post, and indeed the Universal Classroom. 🙂

  468. What a great reflection of the Universal classroom Chrissy. Thank you for presenting it so. I sat nodding at each point, feeling the depth and truth of your expression. Awesome.

  469. Love it Chrissy, this is my kind of classroom, where the teachers stand amongst us not before us, where our only study is to simply listen to the inner-heart… “To Serge With Love”, on general release in cinemas near you…

  470. I loved this description of the Universal Medicine classroom. I agree completely with how the learning unfolds and I have learnt more with Serge and Universal Medicine than any other school or study ever undertaken.

    1. I agree, the presentations by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine are lessons on life and a way of living. So much more valuable, relevant and enjoyable than any other study I have undertaken.

  471. Beautiful and so true from my experience as well. I loved the ‘To Serge with love’ – very playful, Chrissy.
