Sunrise and Sunset – The Dawning of Consistency

There is a fascination in me with the dawning and closing of the day – sunrise and sunset. I love the light, I love the ever-changing patterns of clouds – streaming reds and pinks and visual explosions of deep oranges and yellows across the lightening or darkening sky. The blues, from midnight blue to ocean marine blue, all act as a wonderful backdrop for the myriad light shows that we all can choose to witness each and every day.

I love to photograph these in the wonder of how, from one day to the next, the premise is exactly the same; the sun will rise and the sun will set, yet the way it occurs visually each time is very different.

But the fact remains: the rise and set of the sun is consistent each and every day.

It occurred to me that this is an amazing reflection of each and every human life living on planet earth. We can all count on the rising and setting of the sun – this daily occurrence is an absolute truth, for it never stops.

The fact that WE all have the potential to be in harmony, for we are all from the same source, Love, is also an absolute truth for me. Regardless of different forms of thinking, it is never going to change – it is absolutely true.

And no matter how hard we may try to deny or alter this fact, the truth of that connection with our source, with Love, sits glowing within us, like the brightest sun, waiting for the moment of release.

Consider also that each day, dawn and dusk, the visual treat served up by God is another reflection for each and every one of us. We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing. Observing the magnificence of dawn and dusk allows us this space.

For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.

How very similar is each of our day’s ever-changing living landscape to the weather that blankets our every move. The changing pace of life, the problems that arise, the relationships that flow or not on any given day, the traffic, our food choices etc., can all end up at the end of the day being so heavy, like a dark storm.

Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?

That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?

What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?

If we started shining into every dark corner of the world, how powerful would that be?

  1. Our days never alter in as much as we go round and round the sun going nowhere, it is our movements that change the day.

  2. This is such a gem of a blog, I am so pleased I found it today. “For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen”, this is a consistent reflection to us of how we can approach our lives, being consistent regardless of the other elements around us.

  3. Love what you have shared Lee. By being as consistent as we can be with our-selves in the appreciation of what every day brings to us, is a forever deepening part of our evolution as we have the sunrise and sunset as a standard that never varies. Every day has these same movements of the sun passing over us, and the sun is sharing with us that we are more than this physical vessel and God can be in our every breath, this is relearning to Truly appreciate.

    1. This includes appreciation of ourselves, ‘Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’, and are a part of.

  4. Lee I appreciated the cycles you presented here that the dawn presents a new beginning, to meet the wonder of a new day and the opportunities to grow, and then the nightly sunset to reflect in wonder on the day, and appreciate what we have experienced and where we have grown. Nature itself is also so beautiful, a reflection to remind us of what’s inside ourselves.

    1. A reminder of the beauty and magnificence we too are, ‘Nature itself is also so beautiful, a reflection to remind us of what’s inside ourselves.’

  5. I love the offering to shine regardless of what goes on around us just like the sun shines regardless of whether it is seen through the clouds, fog or rain.

  6. The darkest corners need the most light, that is why it’s important that we don’t shy away when doing anything.

  7. I am struck by your comment “For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.” If we stop and consider this, no matter what happens to us, no matter what comes in our out, or clouds us, we are still consistently shining in the background, knowing who we are and why we are here.

  8. The consistency of the sunrise and the sunset keep life and its goings on in perspective for me. Whatever happens, however dramatic it feels at the time, nature still offers the same reflection. It is a constant reminder that it is us who choose to walk away from that stillness.

  9. The Earth rotates each day offering us an opportunity to rise to the call of living the truth of who we are, so that at sunset we choose repose to confirm all that we have felt.

  10. I love seeing the sunrise and sunset as it helps remind me of the start and end of the day as well as the magic of God that we essentially get to start again, like ground hog day forever learning and deepening the love that we are. The sunset feels like a completion to the end of the day, ready to awaken the wonders we are given at night.

  11. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from? That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?” Great question Lee, and a great reminder of who we are and that the only person who stops us shining is ultimately ourselves.

  12. A beautiful reflection of the sunrise and sunset in our lives, and the absolute truth and glory this offers to us, so we can see and know we are part of and as one with God, and bringing us back to shine brightly too.

  13. I love the fact that when you are the sun there can be clouds bellow you but they will never come into you so to speak.

  14. Thank you Lee. I am aware I don’t appreciate the start and end of each day nearly enough – and your blog has been a great wake up call for me to begin doing this to help me wind down from the day and prepare for the next.

  15. When in connection to our love within, to our Soul, we naturally live and are implused and moved by a source of energy, a vibration that represents who we all are in essence. This quality is ever-present within us and so our consistency is governed by the quality of our connection to it, which in every movement the opportunity is present.

  16. Lee I like your symbolism of the sun of God and the Son of God. I’ve definitely been spending a lot of time in the storm but learning how the consistency of my love, light and warmth is there ever present and untouched, and learning how to stay connected to that despite what is happening in life.

    1. It is very true Melinda – It is only we that dulls its brilliance, the light of God that we are, that would otherwise simply shine in all its absoluteness.

    2. Absolutely Melinda, our love emanates no matter what, ‘ how the consistency of my love, light and warmth is there ever present and untouched,’ love what you share here.

  17. I too absolutely love and appreciate the beautiful messages we are offered by God all through our days, and especially the magic that often accompanies the sunrise and the sunset; “the visual treat served up by God”. These two times of the day, with eternal consistency, can be the most spectacular moments and hard to miss, but there are also moments that may not be as visually spectacular but equally as grand. Yes, every moment matters.

  18. I like this, the consistency of the sun being a role model for us – the humans here on earth.

    1. Yes, the sun doesn’t decide to not turn up if it is having a bad day! It knows it is part of a grander order and that is just what it does. We can say our lives are more complicated, but nature is a simple reflection and constant inspiration.

  19. ‘Sunrise and Sunset – The Dawning of Consistency’ beautiful Lee and I could feel how it also reflects that every day is the same day to sparkle and shine, we don’t have any excuse as Serge Benhayon is reflecting consistently to all of humanity.

  20. Gorgeous sharing Lee thank you, the gift of a new day and all that it brings, the clouds may gather and the rain may come, hiding the sun from our view but behind it all the sun is ever shining waiting for the storm to pass to show us its brilliance, just like us as we live each day with its differing situations that arise.

  21. I love reading this. It is such a beautiful reminder that the sunrise and sunset are perfect reflection that there is only one day, that the days of week etc. are but man-made markers, yet every day is different determined by our quality.

    1. The sunrise and sunset are great reminders of the ongoing cycle that we live in, the one day that repeats itself over and over.

  22. There is something very settling and steadying about consistency: reminding us of a settlement that we all hold deep within. Each new day is another opportunity to connect more deeply to that steadiness and stillness, and bring more love, than the day before.

    1. There sure is Bryony, consistency for me also brings a contentment in my body knowing that I am already everything I need to be and so does away with the trying to prove myself.

  23. Your description of sunrise and sunset makes me realise that there is nothing to be perfected. But simple allowing and surrendering reveals the incredible beauty and majesty of our potential in a way and manner that is most befitted in each and every moment.

  24. I love the Sunrise as I feel the stillness of the day beginning and it’s such a great reminder that each day is a new beginning, at the end of the day the Sunset is a great reflection of a beautiful day.

  25. I was watching a beautiful sunset with my daughter yesterday and said to her that I would love to live in a house where you could see both sunrise’s and sunset’s really clearly, it is such a magical part of the day that I always enjoy experiencing.

  26. Dawn and dusk have always been my favorite times of day and Lee has really helped me understand why that has been the case. The sunrise seems to be always offering us a fresh, clean palette to ‘paint’ our day on with more loving choices and the sunset giving us a sense of reflection on those choices and the space to wind down and prepare for the next day.

    1. A great description Michael, the expansion on offer with the dawn and a chance to live more love again by reimprinting our daily cycle, and reflection and confirmation at dusk.

  27. Yes everything in nature is actually showing us consistency from the sunrise to the sunset, to the seasons, to the animals breeding every year at the same time to the flower blossoming and dying. If nature is a reflection of our true inner essence than it means we are absolutely amazing and consistent too, even though we might not live the fact at the moment.

  28. I’m becoming more familiar with this word ‘consistency’, a word that can keep you stuck in a place or a word that can break old habits that no longer serve and bring on changes – but forever evolving.

    1. It’s a good point that we can be consistent in the negatives also, so yes, we really do know consistency!

  29. I just loved reading this blog, I’ve always loved the majesty of the sunrising and the glimpse of the first crack of light shining through the dark sky – God is with us to greet us and then to add to this is the chorus of birds singing – beauty full.

  30. Beautiful. When we clear the clouds – behaviours – from our lives then we are pure light.

  31. This is beautiful Lee, the shining consistency of humanity. Our light and warmth never leave, if we all lived brining forth this truth and allowing the clouds to part we would all be showered in Glory with our every breath.

  32. Thank you Lee I loved your sharing on the rising and setting of the sun in all its glorious expression. Looking at the sun in all its shining and radiant beauty reflects to us the glory that we hold within and each day offers us the opportunity to shine and sparkle with our own sonship light.

  33. Thank you Lee for a beautiful sharing on the sunrise and sunsets that grace us every single day, I love that nature is constantly offering us reflections and opportunities to shine the truth of who we are everyday.

  34. A beautiful analogy shared here Lee, of how the sun never alters the degree of brightness it shines with, consistently shining in full power with every particle in its body. So too we, the sparks of God, have the same opportunity with every day that dawns, to shine the light of who we are with every particle in our bodies, so that with every breath we magnify and bring the lightness of who we are to this world.

  35. Beautiful to read today as I contemplate walking with the rising sun, thank you Lee for sharing, what a great reflection that the rising and setting of the sun gives to us at the start and end of each day “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?”

  36. The questions you ask when you write a blog always make me smile Lee. Of late, I have been so caught up in the storm, the clouds the winds, I have almost forgotten the sun is shining, my sun, its never changing in its warmth and brightness, its just what I put in the way of it that makes me feel as if it is gone. I am grateful for the reminder to shine and to me that feels like appreciating who I am and bringing the joy into everyday tasks.

  37. There is something about nature that always brings me back to a steadiness and a knowing. The consistency and simplicity that you describe is very beautiful and when I reflect on it I am brought back to the magic of God and what we are all from and can live.

  38. Whatever we try to do to not feel or see from what source we are coming, the sunrise and sunset will always remind the light that lives within us just as consistent and natural as the sun, the reflection of divine light, bright and shiny always.

  39. Thank you Lee, this is truly beautiful to read, your words touched on a deep truth in me, particularly “For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters” – who we are never alters even when we choose to believe or live otherwise.

  40. Everyday the sun rises and sets. It lights our days and warms us up in probably the most reliable and consistent cycle known to man. The question I am asking myself is do we live our days and nights without really realising what a blessing this truly is.

    1. Thanks for your comment Suse, Lee’s blog opened up for me the truly amazing world we live in, that we have a sun, a celestial body of fire, and a moon, that our planet is a gem, and that all of these things are part of a grandness that is our universe. The beauty and magnificence of it all is incomprehensible, but what a sense of awe and wonder it can bring.

  41. Your blog reminded me of how regardless of the truth humanity may argue against it, such as in history when the Earth was considered flat and the centre of the Universe, even though it was not. Many people are now discovering through the work of Serge Benhayon that we are each magnificent and equal Son’s of God, from the One God, the One Source, and with the same equal love and truth – it is in fact a One Unifying Truth. We are not becoming anything but returning to this truth. How many may argue against that? And, in the future when we look back what might history reveal in terms of humanity’s response or reaction to this fact?

  42. A beautiful reflection that in truth nothing can change our deepest inner essence, and how reassuring to know that even in the most difficult times the consistent warmth of the sun can be equally felt within our hearst and bodies.

  43. What a wonderful understanding and awareness to have – that we create our own interference to dull our natural shine and sparkle day and night. I can feel the colours of the sky reflecting to us the qualities of our essence. Do we know which ones we let reflect to All through the day regardless of the conditions around? Or did the external forces have us keep the cover on our loveliness deep with-in and therefor even hidden to ourselves?

  44. Consistency develops trust, a quality that is deeply lacking in this world.

  45. Very beautiful blog Lee. Consistency could sound boring as we have been use to the stimulation of the peaks and troughs of drama, and yet it is the doorway into a way of being so infinitely magical and full that drama is revealed for the farce that it is!

  46. I get the feeling that there is this blueprint, an order as our foundation that governs the rhythm and the speed in which we are being held – such big love for it to be accepting of the differences within the sameness.

  47. I loved reading this blog it reminded me how the sun never wavers from its natural rhythm, it has a beautiful rhythm and consistency that offers us great inspiration, how brightly would we shine if we were consistent in our own movements from everything the sun reflects back to us.

  48. What a deeply beautiful reflection you offer here Lee, of the opportunity we are offered every day with each rising of the sun, to live in connection to the innate immense brilliance which resides within every single one of us. Our power is lived through this connection, and through the cycle of every day we are supported to deepen our connection to who we truly are, as we return to live the same day again and again.

  49. Serge Benhayon was the first person I ever met that consistently reflected to us what it is to shine our magnificence everyday – this is truly powerful and inspiring to everyone he meets.

    1. A beautiful comment Anna and I agree. I would add Natalie Benhayon to that and the reflection she brings of what shining our magnificence looks and feels like as a woman.

  50. It is so glorious to feel the consistency in a sunrise and sunset and that everyone of them will be different in how they look in the sky but the rhythm and routine is still the same. Its a beautiful reflection for us all to note that no matter what we are all interconnected and that is very beauty-full to feel and appreciate.

    1. Yes, they are at opposite ends of ‘our’ day but nothing has changed for the sun, they are wonderful reflections for us to appreciate consistency and also the fact that we all see the same glory reflected back to us!

  51. Everything that surrounds us and everything within us gives us everything we want to know, need to know, and simply know if only we are open to observing the constant communication.

  52. Reading this blog made me realise that we tend to put the magnificence outside (the sun rising and coming down), but not within us. Thank you for this piece of awareness!

    1. So true and yet we rise in the morning and retire gracefully or otherwise at the end of the day – so perhaps the sun can be our mentor for consistency and grace in not turning our light down regardless of outside elements…

  53. It is very inspiring to me to live in the awareness that every day is actually the same and that every day gives us the opportunity to evolve, grow and to have prosperity in life as is so firmly reflected in the nature that is surrounding us all the time. Important though is to be aware and connect to this grand reflection of life on a regular basis as life is sometimes absorbing us and making us feel disconnected from that grandness that is always there for us to return to.

    1. Yes, I found this reminder to be an offering that we can embrace and see life as a repetition of offerings that we can learn from, or challenges that need to be overcome.

  54. “….the rise and set of the sun is consistent each and every day” – yes – and every day it looks different. So too with us humans. We have the same number of eyes, noses, mouths and organs etc but each express in our own unique way. However consistency is often sorely lacking. Nature offers us a beautiful reflection to witness and ponder on and it’s then up to us to make a choice as to what we do with it – reflect the consistency and beauty in ourselves out to others – or act out irresponsibility, which in turn also gets reflected outwards to all.

  55. Beautiful Lee, in every moment we are given another opportunity to shine. I love the idea of taking stock, like the sun setting, of how I’m feeling and how my day has been.

  56. Deeply appreciating the opportunity to recognise the magnificence that we are from in all its vastness that we each reflect in our own unique way.

  57. Thank you for this beautiful inspiration to connect with nature to support us with building consistency within ourselves. I have always appreciated the amazing colour display on offer with the setting and rising of the sun and can feel how it has supported me to have moments of stillness in the past when my life felt so chaotic but I have been brought to a deeper understanding of the gift of consistency that is being reflected to us all.

  58. Consistency is such a simple process on one level, and yet it seems unobtainable to many, which is indeed a reflection of our world… it can be such a foundation for our evolution.

  59. When I claim a consistency in each and every day, something builds.. Whatever that consistency is founded on, it gets an opportunity to grow, to develop, to expand out into the world. So building a consistency of love, or truth, of being a responsible member of humanity can’t help but engender more of the same.

  60. Consistency is a beautiful quality. It is foundation for so much. When I feel the love of God, it is the consistency of it that is a wonder. This is such a light quality, harmonious, warm, supportive.

  61. Most of my life I have been blessed with work that has been outside. I understand now that I did this partly because I felt the consistency and support in nature that that was not part of my life. But it also allowed to develop deep respect for our natural world.
Understanding that nature is there as a reflection to support me to return to myself, was a wonderful confirmation of what I felt.

  62. This is so beautifully expressed Lee. A truly inspirational sharing that will brighten anyone’s life and especially mine at this time.

  63. God so often communicates messages through beauty. One such message from God , that we go round and round the sun and that we are not progressing in a linear way, comes through the divine beauty of sunrise and sunset.

  64. I love being reminded of consistency – just as the sun sets and rises so to does our breath inhale and exhale. Every moment, we have a marker of consistency in our bodies with our breath, but how often during the days events do we come back to it and feel what’s on offer with that consistency?

  65. Great questions Lee that ask to truly stop, consider and appreciate who we are, how we have been living and how we can deepen our quality of presence and connection. Every day we are offered the opportunity to begin again, to explore the majesty of who we are and live this quality without hesitation. As does the sun rise every day, never questioning its purpose to do so, we are offered a powerful reflection that we too are here to shine and reflect the light of our Divineness in this world.

  66. This is a great reminder Lee that the sun represents our own light. The sun’s light and warmth is here for everyone equally, it never shines more for one or the other, and it is consistently there supporting all.

    1. It’s interesting Melinda, living in a city that rains a lot and it can be weeks or months without seeing the sun, how much people become depressed and down at the fact the sun has not been shining. Reading this blog I see how this is a time that shows us how much of our light we have been connecting to and allowing to shine or have we been needing it from the outside.

  67. I love this blog Lee it is so beautifully expressed, the sun rising each day gives us a opportunity for our light to shine, even a midst the clouds the sun continues to shine forth. Thank you for this inspiring reminder.

  68. I never tire of re-reading this beautiful blog Lee. It rekindles the sense of beauty and simplicity that life is, and I naturally drop into harmony. A beautiful way to start the day for a repeat performance but at a deeper, more loving, more expanded level. Thank you. I would love you to write more.

  69. Beautiful Lee. “That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?” Every day the light invites us to shine.

  70. Life has always revolved around the sun and as a Son of God, I am now claiming more and more and appreciating the time I take and what I have. Thank God for bringing me the awareness to feel the truth as presented by Serge Benhayon, for myself.

  71. I’ve taken for granted the rising and setting of the sun each day. It’s all there before us to learn from, and appreciate. I have been forever ‘grappling’ with a consistent life, where I maintain and build my level of self care, confidence and trust. In areas such as exercise, eating, stress, stillness, etc, I’ve been on and off the wagon more times than I care to remember. But, in saying that, I notice the pressure I have put on myself to do something that feels against my natural rhythm. But then there is the sun setting and rising again, naturally so with no effort whatsoever. So is it possible that when we lack consistency, it’s purely because we’ve made it to mean something that is unachievable because we imagine it to look a certain way? Is it possible that we already know exactly what to do, when to do to it and no thinking is actually required? Perhaps it’s our disconnection from ourselves that has left us unsure and needy of achieving goals. So much to ponder.

  72. There is so much in nature and the cycles that we live in that give us consistency that we are constantly supported in our natural rhythm, so we only need to allow us to feel it and go with it.

  73. Consistency is the thing as human beings that we lack the most. Life is an emotional roller coaster, and yet it does not have to be this way. To be esoteric is to discover that there is another way of living life that is void of those ups and downs. Yet this does not make it boring, just natural. In fact, in learning to appreciate the simplicity of living, one starts to connect to a deep joy that is way more sustaining and fulfilling that the highest of highs.

    1. And..How cool is that? How cool is that, that there is in fact another way. It all comes down to choices, and each and every one of us has them.

  74. Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from? Yes is the answer as we can get so caught up in the doing of life. Keeping my life simple truly supports me to feel the stillness within me from which the light that I am can express from.

  75. As “the rise and set of the sun is consistent each and every day” and when we consider that we are part of this grander whole what then does this consistency says to us? What the consistency of the sunrise and sunset I understand for me to be is that being consistent in life is part of our innate being as we are connected to the natural rhythms more strongly than we dare to admit and therefore will give us the strength and a for every building on that what we have built before, as this never will stop like the sunrise and sunset will never be not there.

  76. I am reminded that even when the sun is not visible because of clouds, it is always there, just obscured. The daily choices we make can either allow our inner sun to shine out or cover it over.

  77. Reading your blog today Lee, it made me feel very appreciative of each day that we get. Each sunset is a close of the day, and gives us an opportunity to reflect on how the day has been and how we have been with ourselves and others. Each sunrise is a new beginning; a fresh start is offered for us to make more loving choices than the day before.

    1. We have a new beginning every single day to make more loving choices than the day before….. so true Debra, and for me the choice is to not hold back my love, but to express all the love that I am.

  78. Sunrise and sunset, an expression based on the rotation of our planet which makes day and night and in fact are all the same as we are not going anywhere. The earth continues to rotate on its axis on a daily basis and travels around the Sun in one year of time and then returns to the same spot again. We are not going anywhere but what the cycles of the earth provides us with is the opportunity to evolve and measure our evolution against. We are not here to comfortably live our lives day after day, year after year without evolving back to the origin of our being, but there is a purpose to it and that is lovingly supported by the images and messages presented by nature and of course in sunrise and sunset.

  79. I love this reminder Lee. “That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?” I can hear the kookaburras having a laugh as I write this. Today is that day.

  80. What a powerful reflection we are offered on a daily basis, the sun shines equally for all and with a consistency we know and can trust. It is always there, shedding light with no judgment or withholding.

    1. So true Victoria, the sun doesn’t decide one day to hold back or hide itself, it consistently delivers what is needed.

  81. Nature is such a magnificent reflection, which I deeply appreciate. A beautiful reminder Lee, that when we live with a consistency in our life, just like the sun it nurtures and feeds every other part of our existence.

  82. Lee, I felt the grace and space offered by nature with the sunrise and sunset reading your blog; how we are offered this space each and every day, and you remind me that we are never condemned, that no matter what we are offered once again an opportunity to connect to, feel and live the light we are. And that’s how it is with the sun, it’s always there, even when it’s hidden, and it always comes back and shines, and it is that steady thing always shining and that is how we are too, there is a light in us ready to shine always.

  83. ‘Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’ Yes it is. I often stand in awe of nature’s magnificence yet rarely connect to my own. This is a beautiful way to inspire each one of us – to observe our inner sunsets..

  84. ‘What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?’ This is powerful. It would be amazing if we did and reminds me that it is within the realms of possibility for us to live this way.

  85. Thank you Lee. I always love watching the sun leave or enter the part of the sky that is visible to me and thanks to your blog I can now appreciate that this cycle is a constant reminder of my responsibility to shine consistently.

  86. What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day? It is a work in progress, with a momentum building daily that pulls me to develop, evolve and expand.

  87. What strikes me is how we recognise a consistency in something that presents itself differently every time. There is something unwavering around us and within us.

  88. Thank you Lee I loved your blog it reminded me how much in the past I had enjoyed observing the sunrise and sunset, and the reflection it gives us, to shine each day no matter what the climate of our choices may bring but to know the light of our being is always there to shine.

  89. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?” yes it is so easily possible to forget and get caught up in life and doing. I know often i forget to stop, and observe the light within myself and my connection to the knowing of the magnificent light I am from.

  90. I agree Lee, the sunrise and sunset are a great reminder to stop and appreciate where we come from: God. We are consistently, lovingly being reminded twice daily by this reflection. Yesterday I looked out the window and the sun was rising on the horizon, it was a yellow ball of fire with 6 shafts of light beaming out across the sky. It was visible for a few minutes then disappeared….magic of God moment.

    1. My awareness of in every moment and also the times that have become more enlightening to me is something I have much appreciation and all thanks to the inspiration of the revelations by Serge Benhayon.

  91. It is truly magnificent when we consider the reflection we are being offered by the universe on a daily basis, a reflection that is telling us that we have that same exact level of beauty and wisdom within ourselves and all we need to do is to reconnect to it and shine all that we are.

  92. Connecting and appreciating to the quality within ourselves allows us to move with the deep knowing and acceptance of who we are regardless of how tumultuous the situation we are faced with is.

  93. I always so enjoy coming back to this blog Lee – the poetry and stillness it carries are a real balm for our hearts. You ask ‘Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’ Yes we often do forget to stope and observe the sunset as the clouds that have strayed across the sun can seem so ‘real’. It takes deep and loving discipline to know that the clouds ad the showers are just passing and that if we stay observing and connected to that inner sun we bring a very powerful readiness in our lives.

  94. consistency is an extraordinary quality… We love it in other people… We know that they will be there, we don’t actually have to worry about the allocated tasks or what is there to be done, of course we know that it will be done… And it is consistency within our daily lives that, miraculously enough, builds our personal revelation and the foundation for our life.

  95. This is a deeply beautiful blog Lee. ‘Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’ Yes we do forget to stop and feel the magnificence that we are from, reducing our lives from the immense love that we are to a litany of complaints, blame, pessimism, disregard and all manner of poisons. There is such grace in your writing reminding us of truth or beauty of God and how we are part of this.

  96. I love this – ‘For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.’ When we get too focussed on our everyday lives all we see is the grey clouds, the rain and the cold and we let that in… but as when travelling in an airplane we know that the Sun is always shining, and it is simply the circumstances of the day that cloud that knowing.

  97. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from? That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?”
Simply gorgeous Lee Green, today I will observe the sunset appreciating and knowing the magnificence from whence we come and the endless opportunities to shine.

  98. The rising and setting of the sun is certainly an amazing reflection Lee; a true example of consistency, opportunity, rhythm, flow, love, light, stillness and harmony.
Beautifully expressed Lee, you are an inspiration, thank you.
    .

  99. “But the fact remains: the rise and set of the sun is consistent each and every day.” This resonated with me and reminded me of the power of consistency which for me implies a steadiness and the taking of responsibility in all that we do.

  100. I love the wisdom you shared in this blog Lee, this line stood out for me -‘Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’ The sunrise and sunset offers us an opportunity to feel the grandness of who we are. Thank you for reminding us of the power of reflection and the importance of building consistency in our lives.

  101. It is a powerful reflection that the sun offers in that it knows no greater love than being all that it was Divinely designed for. And so it consistently moves in surrender the activity of love, never missing a moment. A body of love that knows and aligns in accordance with absolute harmony of the Divine order of the universe. We too are a body of love, no lesser than that of the sun. When we choose to surrender to love, the love we already are, the light that shines through us is equally inspiring and illuminating.

  102. What a deeply beautiful reflection Lee of the Divine purpose of the grand cycles in motion that encompass all things in this universe, through which our Divine purpose in this universe is also reflected; to be the spark of God we are and live this through our bodies. You have offered a powerful reminder of the truth that with every day that the sun rises and sets we have the opportunity to deepen our connection to the Divine love we are and live the brilliance of this love with all, through our every breath. It is awe-inspiring and empowering to know and appreciate that we are ever-supported and guided to live our Divinity by the grace of God’s love, through cycles and the magic of God the surrounds us constantly.

  103. This to me is about the power of repetition. Because I have learnt that with applying myself again and again to the same task I am able to grow a steadiness in my body that then comes with me everywhere and is in everything that I do.

    1. I love this Shami – there is power in repeating things – the body has muscle memory and knows when something will support and when it will not. Choosing the repetition (consistency) of loving ways builds and builds a rock solid foundation that can never be shaken.

  104. Your writing is so graceful, Lee. And so honoring of the fact, how beautiful we all are. And it makes it so relatable for people to self-love, because probably every single person on earth loves sunrise and sunset, no matter how miserable life might be for them or irrespective of whether they are religious or not.

    1. Agreed Felix, the sunrise and sunset is one of the lowest common denominators – we all see it rise and fall if we so choose. And this once again shows how interconnected we all are – this one experience is not a ride on a roller coaster in the USA, or a mountain climb in the Himalayas – it is the sun up and down where ever we are we can all at once relate to and observe.

  105. When we have built consistency in our life we become like the sun. We are not perfect… but the majority of the bad weather that has been blocking our light is sometimes the view others are choosing to see. We/I have always been there in full.

    1. I love this Steve – ‘When we have built consistency in our life we become like the sun.’ When we surrender to love every day it is only natural that we emanate that which we have surrendered to – the brilliance of our love.

  106. I love the reflections we get from nature every single day, the consistency of the sunrise is definitely important to realise again and again, there is great power in rising with our light the same way everyday.

    1. I agree Benkt – ‘there is great power in rising with our light’. When we rise with this light that we all are from we light the way for All of us, as it is from the All that this light comes through us.

  107. You are an inspiration Lee – your expression always brings me closer to the ‘truth’ of us, thank you so much for writing such beautiful articles because of your choice to always see ‘beauty’.

  108. The sunrise and the sunset and the potential for everything known to man is possible in between. Consistency in being present, making loving choices and taking ‘stop’ moments support Humanity to not just survive but thrive – thanks Leigh for the reminder that like the sunrise and sunset we are all returning, consistently so.

      1. Beautifully said ch1956 and Lee. It matters not to which point we are at, we all are returning to the absolute surrender and realisation of our Divinity. As you say Lee – ‘we choose how though, and that’s the key….’ As our willingness to be aware and honesty will guide us to know the truth of our love.

  109. It is easy to get caught up doing things that take us out of the natural flow of life. I had ‘one of those days’ yesterday. Nothing seemed to flow and everything took longer than expected, this was reflected everywhere I went, especially in the traffic jams I encountered. When I reflected on where this started I could see that I had chosen to do ‘what I wanted’ rather than what was needed.

The sun does not do this (thank goodness) as one irregular move would result in mass destruction. The sun and it shows me how to travel unhindered as I go about my life in keeping with a divine rhythm I can choose to align to at any moment.

    1. The sun’s consistency then is a great teacher for as you say if it chooses something out of the routine, the regular the consistency of every single day – the whole universe would be out. Perhaps there is a bigger reflection here for us all to consider when we choose what we want over what is needed and what will save the all?

  110. I love watching the sun set and rise too Lee. But what I also adore is the Stars and the moon. What is beautiful to note here is that all of these elements reflect to us all is just how grand we all are. As bright as the sun and glittering like the stars. I love nature’s reflections.

    1. Grand isn’t Kelly how everything around us is to reflect just that – the Grandness we are from and are? Natures reflections are absolutely to be treasured.

  111. How the ‘Spirit’ loves to complicate things. The Spirit will focus on the changes during the day as mentioned – ‘pace of life, the problems that arise, the relationships that flow or not on any given day, the traffic, our food choices etc’, yet the absolute truth is the Love we are the Love we ‘rise’ as, the Love we ‘set’ as and the fact that this Love is present through every moment in between. Thank you Lee – this is a beautiful way to start my day as I await the rising of the sun knowing that it is the Love we all will be taking into the day whether we all are aware of this or not.

  112. Thank you Lee… it is the consistency that is the paradigm breaking, habbit dissolving keystone that we can use to help us evolve… every day choosing to re-connect , to feel the power of our choices and to allow our natural wisdom to grow from these choices.

    1. Everyday since being given this amazing reflection from Serge Benhayon I have seen for myself the power of consistency in my own life. This is known truly by us all, it is but a choice.

  113. At the end of the day, it feels natural that it is an opportunity to reflect, rest and prepare for the next day “That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?” Every evening we have the opportunity to prepare to ‘shine’ the next morning.

  114. “We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing” – and this keeps happening everyday, consistently, cyclically – until we come to a full realisation and embodiment of what we are being offered time and time again. There feels to be something beyond unfathomable at play and makes me wordless.

  115. I meet so many people from the generations where this was the catch cry, “you have to live with that, you have to put up with it, you just soldier on, this is just the way it is”, we even had a prime minister from this era saying “ life wasn’t meant to be easy”… What needs to be mirrored to the world now is that there is a flow that is possible, a way we can take responsibility for all of our actions past and present, yes, but at the same time there is a sense of flow and harmony that is innately beautiful and this beauty is accessible to all.

    1. It is accessible to all, across the globe cjames2012, because some of us dare to speak and sing it out loud. I am in awe of the people who breath forth their unifying truth in these conversations.

  116. We must hold the connection with this light and this beauty that is reflected all around us and from within us and reflect this into the fanaticism and bigotry that holds the world to ransom, because within these transgressions there is no light nor beauty and therefore nothing that holds truly dear the love of God.

  117. ‘For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.’ I am beginning to see and feel how this understanding supports me to walk tall in thew world. No amount of cloud can alter the beauty of me, not ever.

  118. I love reading your blog Joel – it brings such clarity to my often distracted mind. When I connect to the reflections that I am offered by God I can feel the sense of beauty and profoundness that is on hand each and every moment.

  119. Lovely Lee, thank you, a beautiful analogy. Another thing I love to do is check out the night sky, where the planets, moon and stars are before going to bed and also when I wake up in the very early morning. It gives me a consistency and a greater feeling of connection to everything and everyone as we are all in relationship with the entire Universe and with each other.

  120. The dawning of each new day is a reminder of the consistency of the movements of the Universe as we spin on the earth in a known trajectory and cycle. Each dawn offers us the choice to build our own consistency of love and light to reflect back to the Universe and each dusk offers us the opportunity to pause and prepare for a another day.

  121. Dear Lee I love this analogy – it made me feel the consistency in me very deeply. And with feeling this consistency so deeply I could feel the strength and power what came along with it. Therefore I love your question: “What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?” My short answer – we would change the whole world just in this single day . . . .

  122. The rhythm, harmony and splendour of sunrise and sunset, constant reflections of our own glorious gentle beauty. A daily gift from God letting us know we too flow as part of something wondrous and wonder-full.

  123. I spent most of my life only having that connection, that was the nose to the grindstone that just makes you less the longer you choose that path. I love your analogy of the sunset showing the connection we all have. What a great way to reflect what we are a part of daily.

    1. Yes Steve – there is so much around us that we can miss when we have our ‘nose to the grindstone’ and become too intense. When I walk along in the beauty of nature and with myself, I allow myself the most amazing revelations in all the little detail that is the preciousness and the essence of an ever loving God.

    2. I have known this too sjmatsonuk, hardly able to see what’s happening right in front of you let alone what is happening in the grand sky. How many of us live this ‘grindstone’ way.

  124. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?” In answer to your question Lee I would say this is a big fat yes! I am amazed how I can sometimes go about my day all wrapped up in me not feeling my grander connection. Yet it really only takes a moment to stop and look around and reconnect to that magnificence as in truth it is all around us at all time!

    1. The familiarity of the ‘smallness’ can be easy to slip straight into when something pops up. The fact is we need to make our divine Grandness the familiar movement and observe the off days as simply a one off moment that is very much not the norm.

  125. I always take a moment when I close my blinds as the sun is going down to observe outside and marvel at its rhythm, and I do the same thing in the morning. The sun, moon and the weather are beautiful things to observe and reflect upon.

      1. Isn’t it amazing Lee that I wrote my comment back in September and you reply today with words that bypassed my mind and touched my heart. Your words are truly welcomed. I love how the hierarchy works.

      2. I agree Lee and feel the same as what you have shared – that it is empowering to stop, reflect and appreciate the awe of the universe, the universe that we are Divinely connected to and part of, as there is equally as much awe to appreciate of ourselves.

  126. Lee, I loved reading your blog, a beautiful analogy and one where we need to make sure our light is shining brightly, and equally throughout our day, allowing us to greatly appreciate the dusk at the end of the day, as we prepare for the sunrising again, a natural cycle, for us to build a greater consistency with.

  127. Lee, what a simple but very powerful way to live each day, feeling that our day is like the rising and setting of the sun and that how we view all that happens in between is up to us.
Even on the darker days the sun is still there but we often choose to allow the darker days to be all consuming forgetting that the sun is always part of us but we may be choosing otherwise.
Yesterday was very wet and cold here and I needed to walk our dog. I decided that instead of moaning about the wet weather and walking the dog in the rain I would appreciate what God was offering (in fact what we needed) with the weather and put on my wet weather clothes and go out and enjoy the walk. I had an amazing walk with the dog and just allowed the rain and wind to be around me and could feel the beauty in that.

  128. The sunrise and the sunset are daily events of infinite beauty. Although both are facts that happen everyday at a specific time, hardly two sunsets or sunrises are exactly equal. Could it be related to the fact that the universe is constantly evolving? We are offered everyday the same but we are also shown that we cannot expect exactly the same. Against our will to own things, the sunset and sunrise reveal to us that they cannot be owned, that it is not about that. It is about shining everyday no matter what (even if the clouds do not allow us to see the shine) and about finishing up a cycle in the same magnificence it started.

    1. Totally love this Eduardo ‘It is about shining everyday no matter what (even if the clouds do not allow us to see the shine) and about finishing up a cycle in the same magnificence it started.’

  129. The steadiness and unapologetic power and beauty of nature is a true inspiration for us. The sun, the stars and nature are never shy to shine their glory, so why are we? It is a beautiful analogy to start and end our days with the radiance of the sunrise and sunset and to keep shining no matter what the weather.

  130. Yes I too love the consistency of nature Lee and the beautiful reflections in shares with us every moment of the day. Every morning I look to the sky and say hello to the sun and every night I look to the stars and watch them as they welcome me home.

  131. The rising and setting of the sun is such a beautiful reflection, of what happens when our expression is not hold back only altered by what needs to be expressed on that day.

  132. Thanks Lee, there is much to appreciate in the morning and evening of the day, as there is throughout the day. It is all there to support what is truly magnificent – us! The illusion of the sun rising and setting, it doesn’t move at all, the earth is turning, a simple truth we choose to ignore. ‘No sun today’ when it is merely blocked by clouds, we really do forget that the sun is shining there all the time, just as we are divine all the time, but we lose the awareness of that insignificant patch of darkness, that is not even us!!

    1. Great wisdom here and a very astute observer of life and people. ‘No sun today’ doesn’t mean there is no sun and the sun rising and setting doesn’t mean it moves – every child knows that now but not that long ago the powers that be didn’t like this fact and decreed against it. So what is it that those powers that be are defending today?

    2. I love this Mark. We are all ‘Suns’ of God – we each have access to that Divinity, to the burning flame inside, all the time. It then feels like a choice – do we build a body that can express that bright Sun we each have inside or do we choose to stay stuck behind the clouds?

  133. I love what you share here Lee about stopping to observe the sunset in ourselves. Appreciating our divinity, power and love, that remains unchanged in its essence day in and day out is so important. It builds our connection and allows us to feel the equality that is on offer with God, and with the all.

  134. An inspiring analogy Lee…The consistency of the sun radiating warmth and light has such a steady rhythm, reminding us we can also shine our light as brightly and consistently in the same way…Nature is such a great reflection for us all.

  135. This analogy is quite an inspiration Lee…the sun shines all day every day no matter what is going on around it – clouds trying to hide it, storms blocking its light. The question then is “What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?” If we were to still shine our light, show who we truly are, no matter what was happening around us or what was trying to dim our light, if we were to hold steady the truth of who we are…what a glorious world it would be.

  136. Lee, If we started shining our light into the deepest, darkest recesses of the world, big things would start to happen. It certainly shake things up, but things often need to be a little shaken up before true change can occur.

  137. I love the way you describe nature and the solidness and consistency of that. A beautiful rhythm that shows us the rhythm of how we can live.

  138. Lee, I love this blog, it’s so easy to get caught up in each thing and note consider that each day, each moment even is an opportunity to shine a light, to be with us in consistency, and that idea to consider us in sunrise and sunset in our bodies I love, after all nature is all about cycles and so are we.

    1. ‘…after all nature is all about cycles and so are we.’ Spot on Monica.
What Lee has so wondrously presented is that fact of cycles, consistent and solid, these are the rhythms our bodies respond to. This blog is a great reminder of the wisdom that is reflected in nature, constantly. Will we choose to listen?

      1. Yes Rachel, it’s also a great note of how consistent we can be with the natural evolution of cycles. If we know the future is coming we have the opportunity to ready our body – the universe would not leave us behind because it understands everything constellates to evolve each other.

  139. This is such a beautiful offering…. Reminding us to stop and observe the sunset within us is just gorgeous. The visual poetry of these moments in the day are indeed of immense magnificence, reflected to us, consistently to show us what we equally possess inside. Just stunning Lee.

  140. “The fact that WE all have the potential to be in harmony, for we are all from the same source, Love, is also an absolute truth for me.” This is beautiful Lee. The sun always rises and sets, even if we cant always see it- on account of the clouds. Could it be that we are also like the sun – able to shine in full – yet sometimes don’t do this on account of our ‘clouds’ – our hurts – that hide our full glory? Hence the need for true innermost healing, as offered by Universal Medicine practitioners.

  141. I have woken to yet another magnificent sunrise and I am in awe at the myriad of variations that are presented each and everyday. Gods creation isn’t just outside of ourselves, we are also part of that Glory and I love your analogy Lee Green that brings us back to be reminded we are from the same source and indeed have the same opportunity to shine each and every day.

    1. Yes and this shows at the same time that shining is no exercise and can or will be perfected. Like sunrise and sunset look different each day, so do we and our expression change from day to day. Whenever we do not hide behind clouds we will be a magnificent and moving sight to behold – in all of our endless ways of beauty.

  142. Absolutely beautiful Lee and such a glorious topic. Loved every bit of it. Will endeavour to bring to mind daily your words “For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.” And just love your ending questions.

  143. We are given constant opportunity to shine out light and make the choice to be part of the Universe. It is always a choice and I love the sunrise and sunset being a marker and constant reminder to stop and confirm just how great we are.

  144. As you say Lee, nature gives us such an awesome reflection of consistency, beauty, harmony and so on. How can we deny this ? In the moments, when I’m connected to myself and to space, I’m connected to nature and sun as well and I understand, what you are writing about Lee.

  145. How often do we forget that behind the clouds the sun is still there waiting to burst through and bathe us all in its stupendous light. Just like our own light it never disappears it is there even on the darkest of days. I love to come back to your blog Lee it is a lovely reminder that there is so much more going on than what we see, when we observe the sunrise and sunset.

  146. The sunrise and sunset also remind us how to approach our day and our sleep. The sunrise is steady in the way it rises slowly and steadily, reflecting how we can support the fullness, power and strength of our expression during the day. The sunset also sets slowly and steadily as reflection of how we can support our body to surrender to a deep and rejuvenating sleep.

    1. Love where you have taken this Vicky – honouring every moment in the cycle as we are to honour ourselves acutely. Steadily surrender to the close of the day and steadily rise as we awake ready to shine at our fullest all day long.

  147. An unfolding day. When I read your words Lee, I felt the absolute beauty, gentleness and harmony with which nature awakens and tucks herself into bed at night. No great fanfare, just a gentle opening up to the glory of herself at dawn and then a conformation of that glory at dusk. By her consistent care and attention to every detail, she ensures a glorious start to each and every day and lead into a deeply rest-full slumber each and every night. Yes, we can certainly learn much from her.

  148. Beautiful blog and a beautiful confirmation of who you are and what you bring just as the sunrise and sunset offers us all. The analogy of nature resonates deeply with me and connects me to truth immediately, your blog states a truth that cannot be denied because as you say it is absolute, day in and day out. This blog reminds me of Serge Benhayon’s teachings “Expression is Everything” and just as the sun expresses everyday throughout the entire day, with its rising and shining and then setting so to do I need to also.

    1. This is an amazing teaching by Serge Benhayon, terrianneconnors – Expression is Everything. It asks us to be accountable for every literally movement we make and understand the responsibility of rising and setting every day.

  149. Gosh, your blog Lee has stopped me in my tracks and made me consider that everyday I have the possibility to shine in my glory and reflect that to others or not, and the responsibility of that choice, it take away from the incorrect concept of us being separate and demonstrates that brotherhood is the only way.

  150. So beautifully written Lee with many wonderful passages. The one that resonated with me was, “Is it possible that we forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from.”

    1. Peter, I love that you have repeated Lee’s sentence about observing the sunset within ourselves and knowing the magnificence we are from. the little framework that we have reduced ourselves to just falls away as we deeply feel God and that we are sons of God.

  151. Beautiful Lee. I can connect with the feeling of consistency that you present and the love that glows within each of us.

  152. Lee, this blog is very beautiful to read. I love your use of the son as our example to choose consistency consistently : ), and to shine. I was fortunate yesterday morning, while driving to work, to be able to observe the sun, playing with the clouds. They were very different yesterday, and the sun was always just slightly veiled, so I could have a few peeks at it. Many times the sun actually looked like an eye, as the clouds had formed in that way around the sun, and the rays streamed out gently from there, shining.

  153. Lee what a beautiful blog and I loved reading every word. Remembering, ‘That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine, ‘ is just divine as it falls in line with the majesty and magnificence of the sun rise and sun set you speak of. No matter how gloomy the day, it’s always guaranteed that the sun will rise and the sun will set. We are all sons of God and that fact cannot be changed even if we forget it.

  154. It is beautiful to feel held in the certainty and consistency of the rhythm of the earth and Sun cycle – this is a certainty that feels divine and communicates God’s ever-loving, ever expanding presence in our lives. Even though we have somewhat messed things up here this divine message is being emanated to us without ceasing.Thank you Lee for bringing this to the fore-front of awareness again with your beautiful and deeply felt description and pondering on sunrise and sunset.

  155. Being consistent everyday takes commitment. The pair go hand in hand and you can’t have one without the other. It’s a big learning for me.

  156. Lee, I love returning to re-read this blog time and again. It brings me back to the simplicity of life. The sun is certainly one of our greatest reflections.

    1. Me too Adam, I love reading this again when I feel stuck in complication or complexity of my own doing. Lee offers a moment to stop and reconnect with the simplicity of cycles.

  157. Wow Lee, absolutely, how powerful would that be? Amazing.
I loved your comment ‘For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.’ Something to ponder on for sure. Thank you

  158. A beautiful piece of writting and insight into the power of consistency – and the freshness of each day to choose.

  159. Awesome Lee, I love the way you have written this , and how the sun with its consistent rising and setting is the perfect reminder for us also.

  160. “What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?” I just love this question and am allowing it to inform my body and can already feel the dropping away of tension it allows. Thank you Lee.

  161. Thank you Lee for sharing this. The sun offers a beautiful reflection of consistency and expression. As you suggest, taking the time to observe the rising and setting each day can remind us of this consistency and show us the variations in expression of the same act.

  162. I love this blog Lee, like the sun it allows space to reflect on how I have been with myself.
‘What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?’
The offering of consistency feels really joyful in my body and I love feeling that and knowing that I actually could be consistently me in all I do. Super inspirational.

  163. “reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing.” This made me realise that I have not been using the Our Cycles App of Nathalie Benhayon to it’s, or my, best advantage. If I were to just write about how I have been expressing at the end of the day and leave out the diary-type elements I feel I would be able to get more honest and deeper in my relationship with myself. Obvious really but something I have been avoiding.

    1. Thank you Elaine for your honesty in what you have shared. There are so many moments of the day we can choose to stop and feel our reflection. It is great to give importance to this or that technique or something as regular as the sun rise or set. There is also a call from within to be with my body, every moment. When I honour that and allow my presence to develop into a foundation of love in my body, it seems that the moments of reflection choose themselves. I might look up from what I am doing and connect with someones eyes and spontaneously smile. There may be a bird sitting quietly with me or calling to me in its song. However they are spontaneous and not scheduled moments and it allows the magic of life to be felt and be a natural part of life. In this there is no should about connection, just confirmation in honouring the call within.

    2. Oh wow, thank you for sharing this elainearthey. I have been feeling the same and know how beneficial the OurCycles app is for bringing more understanding and awareness into my day. I like how you said ‘leave out the diary-type elements’, make it simple, to the point and clear. Love it. Feels doable now.

    3. Totally Elaine the our cycles app is so truly supportive – when I use it to it’s fullest I am held so steadfastly that I can unravel many things that hold me back.

  164. Your blog reminded me of the stillness I experience within me and around me whenever I happen to catch the sun rise over the horizon, reconfirming itself and its presence in yet another day, another new cycle. That stillness is a tremendous start to the day, confirming that the stillness I feel within me is a connection to the bigger picture and that I’m not the product of the coming day’s clouds, rain, traffic jams or work challenges.

  165. As I read your blog this morning Lee, I was reminded to focus on the sunshine within me and not on the clouds, wind and rain that can cover that sunshine.

    1. So true, Natalie. The sunrise and sunset and the sun are always within us – the rest is but a mask to cover them. Thank you for reminding me of this today.

  166. Consistency of quality, that is what I feel from reading your blog Lee. There is a lot of power in this when we live it with ourselves and with everyone. I know one of the strongest foundations in a true relationship is commitment to each other through the consistency of quality as best as that can be lived all the time.

  167. Watching the sun coming up in Vietnam is one of my favourite times. There is a beauty and stillness that sets the day. The golden colours glistening and shimmering on the water remind me of God and the bigger picture of what life is really about. “Consider also that each day, dawn and dusk, the visual treat served up by God is another reflection for each and every one of us. We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing. Observing the magnificence of dawn and dusk allows us this space.” So true Lee, thank you.

  168. We are the “suns” of god, indeed Lee we have the power within us to radiate this same absolute fire.

  169. Hi Lee. reflecting on this piece I realise that we too like the sun Rise and set every day. Every day is the same day. Making human life complex has been a great deception away from this truth.

  170. The sun is a great metaphor for life ebbing and flowing in the same rhythm each day. How beneficial it would be for us to all follow these natural cycles.. periods of activity followed by a stop (the setting sun and darkness) then getting on with our work (the sun rising and lighting up the day). A beautiful piece of writing Lee thank you.

  171. A really lovely blog Lee. It emanates your strength, sweetness and the sun within you.
I was just appreciating the other day how the sunset was God in reflection and how I could feel it so solidly as me too. It was a reminder for me to always remember that the light of God is always with me wherever I go.
    Thank you.

  172. The absolute magic of god. From the incredible colours in the sky, to the crisp clarity one gets from stopping and connecting and appreciating all of its beauty. For me too Lee, the beauty and the loveliness of the dawn and setting sky is simply, astonishingly beautiful and I feel it does call us back to a place of deep calm, contentment and feeling of everything being harmonious and connected. Even if I have had a full on day, to look up and even catch a glimse of the setting sky brings an overall sense of ease back to my body. It is truly magnificent.

    1. “Even if I have had a full on day, to look up and even catch a glimse of the setting sky brings an overall sense of ease back to my body. It is truly magnificent.” – Yes, Natasha, this is true for me also. So often I am travelling home, having a walk or am home already and the sun is setting in all it’s glory and I am reminded of the bigger picture.

      1. Gorgeous Lee, and the world does have many many amazing reflection in nature and now many many reflections in women and men living amazing lives with such pristine and divine quality. #thanks to the inspiration of Universal Medicine 🙂

  173. This goes beyond ‘food for thought’ Lee, feels more like medicine – ‘..claimed the consistency of us every single day’ – has stopped me in my tracks, thankyou.

    1. Ahhh yes Giselle – living medicine based on the consistency of living ‘you’ in every single day.

      1. I never understood the miracle of consistency and the power it has to reimprint and change lives until i had lived it myself. And experienced the phenomenal changes of committing to doing something regularly.

  174. Imagine indeed what it would be like if we stopped to observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from, the same magnificence that is within each one of us,

  175. Thank you Lee this is beautiful to read. Nature offering us an opportunity to reflect everyday. I once heard Serge Benhayon present on the importance of reflection. He shared if you wake up feeling great look back over your previous day and do it again, if you wake up feeling not so great, look over your previous day and don’t do that again. Such a simply yet powerful teaching. Guaranteeing true evolution, supporting us daily to let go of what does not serve and confirm what does.

    1. I love that reminder Caroline, and what a great teaching that is by Serge Benhayon. Something I will take straight into my day today.

      1. Yes it is true medicine indeed – following the natural flow and cycle of the day and night means that we allow ourselves to not be governed by time. I have found this in itself a huge support.

    2. Agree Caroline, the yesterday makes today, and so the future. Which quality we’d like this to be is entirely up to us.

    3. I agree with the power and simplicity of reflection that you offer here Caroline. Using the setting sun as a reminder of this can be an excellent tool to support this reflection.

      1. Yes Lee, this is such a beautiful point; in the consistency there is also a consistent variation in the expression same act. It’s not just a routine thing.

    4. Beautiful Caroline – thanks for adding this practical daily aspect – brings me right to the now and the choice in this moment.

    5. Ah thank you Caroline for this reminder – simply beautiful and very real, we don’t need to drill ourselves or get caught in perfection. Just a reality check on how we feel and why we may feel that way. Nature is reflecting consequence and we have the power to choose, always.

  176. Dawn has for much of my life been my favourite time of the day, I used think maybe it was because I didn’t see them rather often, so they where a novelty, but I am now realising that being awake at this time sets me up for the day, it feels like a time to confirm my connection within, to appreciate the divinity and stillness available in the world and plan for the day. It is a special time of day that can create a commitment for the rest of the day to build in this quality. I appreciate the cycles that are all around me and I very much appreciate the dawn of a new day.

  177. The beauty of that is to me, that it is not about me being perfect, but me being me consistent. Claiming being me, living my truth every day. Without a doubt. Like clockwork. Ready to be everyday a new me. Consistent. Lovely Lee!

    1. Awesome christinahecke consistency is the key to living and committing to ourselves everyday with truth. Claiming that with a full heart doesn’t leave any room for doubts.

    2. I love- ready to be an new me everyday !! It is great and for me super important to let go everyday of old stuff. The sunrise is presenting everyday, that it is all fresh and you can start again, because of the beautiful consistency. Lovely to tune into this and be aware what the universe is offering us- thanks to Lee and you.

      1. . . . and keeping us bound and gagged. Perfection completely tenses the body and stops ‘spherical’ emanation, instead presenting a spiky and jagged pulse. Totally agree Lee and Rachel.

  178. What I feel as I read this blog again is that movement determines the quality with being consistent. Between sunrise and sunset there is a steady movement as we rotate as a planet, in this movement there is a quality that is unwavering, rhythmic and very powerful. As we begin to live with this same consistency of movement, we also develop a quality that is felt and seen by others.

    1. I love what you have presented here matthew brown. The ‘steady movement’ between sun rise and sunset is taken for granted, yet depended upon in a myriad of ways. The movement can go unnoticed basically. Using this consistency as a reflection, I too can develop a rhythm that reflects the steady, reliable and self aware movement of the sun’s light.

    2. Absolutely Matthew. I love the way you have used your words to express this.

    3. Beautiful reflections Matthew. Not wavering to all that is happening around me, not reacting and maintaining my connection to me as life happens, is the key to that consistency I know I can live each day.

    4. I love this Matthew. And the quality of our movement determines the type of day we have between the sunrise and sunset. If that quality is consistent daily, then this builds to what we refer to as The Livingness. Living in a way where we are connected to our divine essence, expressing ourselves in full from the inside to the out.

    5. Beautifully shared. I am beginning to feel how consistency in my life brings me so much steadiness, a unwavering quality as you beautifully share.

    6. This is awesome Matthew Brown – that our quality and way of being between sunrise and sunset can be in true alignment to the planet and it’s rhythmic nature. How supportive and always so consistently there.

    7. Beautifully expressed Matthew, such a beautiful reminder for choosing the quality of our movement influencing our consistency.

    8. Wow Matthew and Lee – through reading what yourve written I just got a much greater sense of steadiness. I have often resisted really being here and dealing with whatever comes before me and often had my head in the clouds so to speak. I am appreciating this refection of this very true consistent movement of the earth and having my feet firmly on the ground. This quality feels still and absolutely connected to the all – and the motion moves in that stillness and stays connected to the all. I used to see the word ‘consistency’ as just another loveless rule enforced on me with the threat of abusive punishment – or see it as boring and could never remain consistent but because I have begun being more still and connected to myself I have found myself becoming naturally consistent.

    9. Just love your expression Matthew although I must confess it did bring up a little ‘comment envy’ eg why can’t I write something as amazing as that. I know, I know, consistency and patience!

    10. Movement is key – our movements let all the universe know where we are at. Once we understand this responsibility then the whole world will change.

  179. Thank you Lee for your beautiful and thought-provoking piece. It’s true, the rising and the setting of the sun seem like cosmic way-markers in our life’s journey. It appears that the sun’s consistency is setting us an example to follow, making sure each day is fully and separately acknowledged.

    1. So true Ariana – I love your comment here. It doesn’t get any more simple, and there is so much wisdom in these words. The natural flow and consistency of nature is an opportunity for me to reflect on my true purpose, and the simplicity in the messages I see around me are a great reminder to let go of complications and just live me.

    2. Love this Ariana. Rise….Shine in full….Set and Repeat daily into eternity. Super simple and super powerful.

    3. The way you have laid it out Ariana sure does make it sound simple. Thank you.

    4. Great, Ariana! And not boring at all-for the Sun, and for us, even though it might look same same but consistency and reliability as well as grace and warmth of it is stunning.

    5. Completely Ariana, love what you share, so simple is the order and cycle of nature there to show us the way of – action and repose. Every day. Every week. Every year. Every life.

    6. ha, this is the best reflection we can have, every day the same. More consistency is what I want to bring into my life and I take the sun as my role model now.

  180. Lee- what a beautiful analogy of life- the sunrise and sunset, and how you have described it. Nature is truly a magical and glorious expression of what we are also part of- and reminds us that we can shine too in our glory if we are consistent.

    1. I agree. Nature offers us a beautiful reflection of all there is for us to learn.

      1. Yes every single day I commune with nature. The birds, the light, the sun. I have a myriad of magic moments consistently flowing to me. I have always been open to nature reflecting truth back to me. In the form of flowers, feathers, stones, leaves, dogs etc..Nature is always talking to me…It makes my day so rich and eventful in the simplest ways and I feel so supported by the world around me.

      2. It is the greatest teacher Lee, in that in every movement there is something new to feel and understand. Nature’s realisations abound for all of us everywhere.

  181. Thank you Lee for your beautiful blog – I so enjoyed reading it, and the inspiring words also from the comments – touches a deep place within – reminds me that the glory of nature in all its profoundity of expressions reflects that glory within us all.

  182. Lee I find your blog really refreshing to read. It reminds me of my rhythm and the earths rhythms and the harmony that is felt by living this way.

  183. Very beautiful words Lee, thank you. The fiery light of the sun shines in us all.

  184. The magic and beauty of sunrise and sunset and the consistency that is variety at the same time are such an amazing inspiration to feel that all of that is also inside of us. Each moment in our lives can be that unique, beautiful and still if only we allow it.

  185. So simple, so beautiful, to shine every day, just like the sun. No doing, no asking, no thinking about it, but just shine. It’s our nature, every day.

  186. Consistency is not something I could say has always been a part of me at times in my life but something I know to be a very valuable quality and I’m working my way towards this being a part of my makeup with the assistance of the Ageless Wisdom Teachings through Universal Medicine.

  187. “And no matter how hard we may try to deny or alter this fact, the truth of that connection with our source, with Love, sits glowing within us, like the brightest sun, waiting for the moment of release.” So true Lee and such beautiful imagery.

  188. That is a great point Lee. I love the idea of knowing that the sun just does its’ thing regardless of what goes on around it – the clouds, rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, even earthquakes. The sun keeps steady. I will enjoy taking this analogy with me through some of the personal events in my life that can, at times, feel like all of those things.

  189. I was recently in an airplane flying west as the sun was setting. Out of the window all I could see was an incredible deep orange layer on the horizon as far as I could see. As we travelled, the colour became more intense…it was truly magical. And as the sun was setting for the part of the world we were flying over, it was rising for another part of the world. So the sun never truly rises and sets, it is forever shining somewhere in the world – just like all of us.

  190. How beautiful and powerful the sun is, constantly reflecting to us consistency. If we all where to bring this consistency into our daily lives, how magical our days would be. There is no waiver from the sun, it rises and sets in its rhythm emanating it’s beautiful glow.

  191. WOW Lee. You have reminded me of feeling just this observing the sunrise in January this year at Broken Head beach. The Sun does not offer any excuses for why it is late in rising, or setting. It fulfills its movement, steadily, daily, rhythmically and unaltered by the moods of the weather to shine warmth, inspiration and vitality on all of us, in full knowing of its purpose and responsibility. Something to deeply consider, the magnitude of this and yet, it just is.

    1. Just as each moment offers an opportunity to make a different choice, each day offers a blank canvas for us to choose to be however we choose. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful reflections of consistency, however, I also feel with their beauty they offer a cleansing for what we may have chosen the day before. There is no judgement, instead inspiration through the magic of God, to make different choices in this new day.

  192. Yes Ariana, it resonates deep within to read these words and gives me an upwelling of joy: that power comes from our connection to our Soul and our choice to be all that we are and shine forth. Keep shining on.

  193. I just love the inspirational picture that everyday does offer us – like the sun – another opportunity to shine. Sometimes our shining may be hidden by clouds but shining we always are. The more we trust in that the clearer the skies will be.

  194. Hi Lee I love this – we do have a sun light inside, a forever glowing source and we do have change in our state of being like the changing weather – some days are so clear or some days are stormy or windy but no matter what, we rise and set and it just dawned on me (ha ha) that the consistency of this is something so so lovely to surrender too, very trust inspiring as this is a truth.

  195. Thank you for connecting me back to the magic of God today with your blog. Consistency is such a loving commitment and discipline you can give to yourself and as you say to the world if we so choose. And the world does need us all to shine as brightly as we can on any given day.

  196. Spot on Ariana I love this ” I have the day before me and I can choose to fall into this thing that is not me or the glory of what IS me.” Absolutely splendid – we choose the grandness, or not, very simple.

  197. This was just such a joy to read Lee, consistency is such a huge one, to not only be consistent in our rhythm, consistent with ourselves, how we speak, live and are with others. There are so many things in the world that are always pulling us out of that consistency, but looking to nature and what it reflects can be a beautiful reminder of that consistency as you’ve shared, the sunrise and sunset, truly inspiring.

  198. Thank you again Lee, I am learning just how much consistency is being called for in all of my relationships, in every situation. And that there is always a choice about the quality of the presence I have with each person in each situation. Nothing is just given, I have to work at it and this is amazing because this gives me the power to decide how much of my light I am willing to shine. The sun is a great reminder, or teacher, that not only is there enormous amounts of light available to shine with, but that we are all deeply appreciative of it when it is here.

  199. To imagine that we have those consistent rhythms within us like the sunrise and sunset and the consistency of the sun that shines whether we see it or not, is an awesome thing to consider. We may cloud our light with our choices, yet it it always there waiting for our return to our full light.

  200. Lee, in your mentioning the visual treat offered up by God twice a day as a moment to pause and reflect I am left to feel how much love God pours on me all the time and how I don’t let myself connect and feel the love on offer. I don’t think I am alone in this

  201. When being graced by an incredible sunrise or sunset we just can’t deny the glory that we are. And just to think that each and everyone of us walks around with the magnificence of a stunning sunrise within us says so much about who we all are.

  202. This is a truly beautiful analogy for cycles, consistency and the magnificence that nature continuously reminds us of. It’s pinned on my fridge to read again and again!

  203. This statement really struck me too – to enjoy reflecting on my own day in the same way I can appreciate the setting sun. Thanks Lee!

  204. Sunrise and sunset, a constant rhythm that is so similar and yet so very unique each day. Awe inspiringly beautiful, still and a reflection of something greater than we can grasp – but exactly that is deep inside of us.

  205. Something to aspire to, claiming the consistency every single day in every moment. I can feel the absolute power in this.

  206. I love what all aspects of life and the universe reflect back to me and the rest of humanity. I see in all of that a powerful reflection of our essence, the immense love and consistency as a constant reminder of the magnificence we are all part of, which as Carolien Braakenburg says “is even far greater the the most beautiful sunset could ever be!”

  207. Love your blog Lee – I like the analogy that you have used about the sun being a constant, and yet its gloriousness (or the lack of being able to see it on a certain day), is only clouded or accentuated by the scenery around it – it is so accurate how you relate this to human life. We are all amazing, we just create the different scenery, and only show so much of our ‘shine’ from day to day. But we all have the potential there, all we have to do is embrace it

  208. I have to admit I’m a little bit in love with this blog and return to it regularly. It offers such a sweet and beautiful reflection of what consistency can actually be, the opening up to the magnificence we hold within (which I feel is even far greater the the most beautiful sunset could ever be!)

    1. Yes Carolien! Lee’s article is pure, true poetry in which everything that is normally said lineally or in many many words is conveyed in such a whole-some, complete way. Super beautiful as the truth in this blog dawns in ones heart.

  209. Roll on the day when the world wakes to realise “we are from a magnificence” and begin to honour the rise and set of the sun and moon.
As they/we begin to shine, all those dark corners will disappear.

  210. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from? That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?” Great to re-read your article Lee and a resounding yes to your question.

  211. I particularly love sunrises. This blog reminds me that here is a glorious new day and I have the choice of how I want to imprint it. I’m sitting here typing and thoroughly enjoying the tranquility that this early morning time is offering me right now.

  212. A beautiful reflection Lee. It inspires me to simply allow myself to claim the consistency of me every day.

  213. Lee the stillness that I feel each morning after the sun rises provides an incredible consistency. Whilst the leaves on the trees may change shades during the year the quality is the same.

  214. The rhythm of every 24 hours, the consistency of the sun rising and setting, inspire and support me to commit deeper and further to consistency, ironing out the pits and troughs, the roller coaster ride, so that my days have a quality to them that is reliable and sustainable. This feels like an amazing foundation to live with.

  215. Great question you pose Lee, have we forgotten to stop and observe the sunset in ourselves?.. and reflect on what the day has unfolded as a consequence of our choices. We know for sure the sun will rise again, and I love the fact we get to choose afresh each day and build on what has gone before. Natures reflections are truly inspiring, beautiful blog Lee.

  216. As I read your sharing Lee I could visualise the Sunrise and thought I would just catch the beginning of the new day but there is a cloud cover today, but I know that the Sun is there in all its glory and always will be, even if I cannot see it . Clouds in our lives are the same, they cover the beauty of our Light but we know we are always glorious within and worthy of Love. Thank you for your beautiful blog.

  217. I agree Lee, the sun is a great example for consistency; if it would take a day off the world would look very dark and grim. Maybe we do need to take the sun as an example and change our attitude.

    1. So very true Judith, the world would be very “dark and grim” without the sun, but also without the light that we can also shine. Time to learn from the sun’s consistency!

  218. We each have our reflection of nature that allows us to feel Love. Some are similar, the same or some are different. The fact is whatever the reflection, it is the most beautiful confirmation for us in that moment. As the consistency of our rhythms and Love evolves, so to do the reflections offered by nature, that confirm that there is much more going on than just what we see.

  219. Consistency is such a wonderful quality and it’s great to celebrate it, as you have here Lee. We can learn so much from nature and the magic of God.

    1. Indeed – and how often do we tend to view consistency as mundane, ho-hum or even interpret it as dogma. The ever-changing and yet entirely consistent rising and setting of the sun blow that misappropriation right out of the water!

      1. So true Helen. Consistency can be seen as boring and mundane by some, but it has such a strength, and for us to never underestimate what we bring to the world when we are living in a consistent way that allows others to know they can rely on and trust us, just as we do the rising and setting of the sun. That is true power.

  220. What better to be reminded of such a natural yet glorious cycle that the universe emanates to. One that we are part of and we are just as important as the Sun and the Moon to emanate our true glory.

  221. May the sun never set on your capacity to express, Lee. So lovely, just like you; so vivid, just like the skyscapes you love.

    1. Love the glorious thing you have said about Lee’s writing Victoria – it always touches my heart deeply to read what Lee writes.

  222. Lee, I love the way you have related the sun and it’s consistency with shining it’s amazing light to us also choosing to shine our amazing light. Things in life do get in the way just like the clouds and storms do for the sun but do you see the sun changing it’s consistency and steadiness.? No it remains the same. Nature offers us such a beautiful reflection of how we can be with ourselves if we stop, observe and feel what is around us.

  223. Thank you Lee, a very timely reminder for me of the ‘lack of consistency’ I have lived with most of my life and which is a path of continuous refinement and appreciation of the moments when there are no ‘clouds’ blocking my expression and light.

  224. What you are presenting for us all is a gift of the beautiful reflections that come from within first. Thank you Lee for bringing more awareness to what is there for me if I but choose to see.

  225. I love the way you have drawn the parallel between consistency and nature, the consistency of sunrises and sunsets, and the consistency of love that we can all choose to live every day and in every moment.

  226. Lee there must be a dozen songs at least that could come out of your blog … beautiful poetic in the true sense, a banquet of imagery and words, that feeds not the brain but the heart.

    1. That’s a wonderful illumination cjames … experiences in life that feed the heart not the brain. I can feel how this reflects to every experience … is all encompassing of how we live.

  227. Lee this is a great blog. I have always enjoyed the exquisite serenity of the sunrise and sunset as a gift from God. You have taken that one step further Lee. To see the way the clouds and the wind respond to how humanity is living and then the way the sun (Gods light) refracts across the water vapor in the atmosphere where Heaven and earth are connected.

    1. I enjoyed this blog so much, and Bernard, your use of the word ‘serenity’ in regard to sunrise and sunset is so apt to me. So when the clouds of problems blow across the serene space of my life I know it is only ever temporary, that the sooner I deal with those problems the clearer my sky will be.

  228. We are probably the only beings on planet Earth who are not consistent in their harmony – so far. Yes, Lee, with each new cycle we are given the opportunity to connect back to this continuous harmony, be this every day, every 10 days, every month, every moon cycle, every year or every lifetime. What do I choose?

  229. I loved coming back to this blog just before it is time to go to sleep. And this time I got a clear sense of how this rhythm and consistency is actually already within me. I have always thought that i needed to build it but now I can feel it is already there, it is a natural state of being for me and all i have to do is surrender. And what I got to feel next is this amazing feeling of being part of this endless whole that has a natural rhythm like an in and out breath that everything adhere’s to.wow!

    1. Beautifully expressed Carolien, the rhythm is there when we surrender to it – there inside us pulsing away. I agree the default has been to believe I have to build a rhythm or try to be gentle. It is great to see myself as a natural part of a greater cycle.

  230. I love this blog Lee, thank you. It feels so perfect for me this morning – yesterday I was caught up in a bit of a dark cloud, but as I prepared myself for bed I was able to let it go. I connected to the love within, nurtured myself and put myself to bed with love. This morning I very much felt the joy and love that I am, and feel that today is indeed another opportunity to shine.

  231. How can anyone look at the universe and all its rhythms, all the planets and stars hanging in the delicate balance of a magical constellation and deny the livingness of God? I am a tiny dot in the vastness of space, seemingly insignificant, but I look at my palms and feel within them the love that God is and I feel the joyful responsibility to live that love to the best of my ability.

    1. I really like what you are saying Jinya. I too used to consider myself a seemingly insignificant dot in the vastness of it it all. I had grasped a percentage of the scale of it all. But what I hadn’t claimed was my responsibility in it. That is what I am beginning to feel now. So now I have this, as you say joyful, balance of the humility of knowing the bigness of it all, but then also being super aware of the absolute power, significance and responsibility of me, in it. Tiny and Massive! If you see what I mean. It’s fun. I get it. Thanks for this Jinya.

    2. Gorgeous Jinya – God’s love is eternally in our palms and in all our being if we make the choice to re-connect to it.

  232. What a great blog and also to see how the comments have evolved. It is such a pleasure to read such wonderful comments. As you said Joseph, ‘the sun never sets’, neither does our consistency with loving ourselves and in choosing this we bring light wherever we go.

  233. I love Lee the absolute knowing you express that we are all from the same source Love….

  234. I love to watch the sunrise and sunset, with glorious colours and so different all the time. The feeling of majesty and knowing we are equal to the beauty of nature is also a time to reflect and to feel our connection with the universe. Consistency for me is in the small things I do, how I am with myself and others and being aware of this quality throughout the day. This too is evolving, as I realise I can choose how to be in every moment.

  235. Let the sun within us shine and indeed don’t let clouds get in the way for us to forget or hold back this inner sun. Great metaphor.

  236. ‘We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing. Observing the magnificence of dawn and dusk allows us this space.’ This is a gift that we constantly receive if we so choose. Our DIVIne check in. Thanks Lee for your beautiful reflection ✨

    1. What a great time to take a pause and reflect on the day, and to tune in to the rhythm of nature. Something so glorious I have been largely ignoring.

  237. Thank you Lee, your blog was so beautiful to read and ponder on the love of God reflected to us in the rising and setting of the sun, and the magnificence of who we truly are.

    1. I love the power and simplicity of your comment Jill : ‘your blog was so beautiful to read and ponder on the love of God reflected to us in the rising and setting of the sun, and the magnificence of who we truly are’.

  238. Lee, you have started a great conversation with your blog. I also love the sunrise and sunset, and although I agree that it is super important for us to develop a consistency of being all that we are in each moment, it is this period for me, a time to stop, appreciate and connect deeply with who I am and where I come from. There is a stillness, a period of deep honouring in this time that I simply adore.

  239. I am also reminded that throughout my life my perception of time in my mind has changed every day- sometimes I might have dreaded the end of the day e.g. I might have an exam or difficult meeting the next day, and other times I might have wished for the day to end sooner e.g. The night before my wedding or birthday. But the sun just continues to move at the same consistent pace unmoved and unaffected by my inconsistent mind. The sun has taught me much.

  240. There is a beautiful steadiness to the cycle of a day marked by the sunset and sunrise. Would we notice the sun as much if it just shone steadily for 24 hours high in the sky? Probably not.

  241. I agree Gyl, my body loves consistency, consistent rituals that are supportive in my day, consistent rhythms that feel harmonious and true, consistent application to having everything coming from a loving place – a great life project!

  242. Beautiful Lee, we are shining magnificently, day in and day out.
The storms, lightning, rain, hail, rainbows, coloured painted clouds, blue skies, reflections on the water, all happen day in, day out and regardless, we, like the sun, are shining on the inside. It’s our choice day in, day out, how we express that shining light that we are. What a fabulous design in nature to remind us daily, we have in the sun rise and sun set of each day.

  243. 100% agree Lee the sun rise and set is consistently amazing, so many different hues and shades – a spectacular show to make a heart sing. You’ve captured the essence beautifully here to show how its simply our nature to rise and shine brightly too. In this way, the sun never sets on love and humanity.

  244. Your blog Lee is beautifully simple for me in that the sun rises and sets so gracefully and consistently everyday regardless of what is going on in the atmosphere. It is a very gently movement that reminds me to come back to gentleness. If a storm is brewing, or the day has not been so bright, the sun still very gently sets highlighting who you are does not have to alter because of what’s happening around you, hold your gentleness and rise and set as beautifully as the sun.

  245. The absolute reliability of the rising and setting of the sun is an incredible thing to ponder. It gives me a sense of the endlessness of the opportunities for fresh starts. Today’s mistakes, when we so choose, are the wisdoms of tomorrow.

    1. Lovely – if we look at it like you say matildaclark there are in truth no mistakes – just learnings. If we choose evolving instead of guilt.

    2. True matildaclark – consistency and the cycles of life offer us the reminder of unending opportunities to reconnect, reflect, re-imprint and rejuvenate … to name but a few!

  246. It is amazing Lee how much interest your blog has your blog has generated. It is obvious that we are all interested in and feel the magic of god at this transitional time of day and night.
Now feel back 60,000 years to the aborigines who lived between the ridge at Goonallabah and the beach where the river meets the sea at Ballina and try to consider just how much closer they were to the magic of god iiving all of their lives right under the sun or sleeping under the stars, finding their living directly from the earth and thriving.
Now compare it with your lot, your climate controlled weatherproof house and car, with all the luxuries and conveniences that even controls the spinning of the earth, night and day with electric lights or blinds, a job you go to five days a week nearly all your lives and come home and instead of watching the sunset turn on the telly to be reassured that we are doing alright and we are safe and we don’t need god.
How much feeling have we lost.

  247. My favourite place for sunsets are at the beach at low tide where the sand is flat and hard and the continual wash from the waves makes a huge natural mirror to reflect the setting setting sun reflecting on the clouds over the ocean. The different hues of the many colours are ever changing as we stand and take it in spellbound by the magic of the inconsistency of the consistency of god.

  248. Yes, no matter what has come before or what choices we have made, we start a new day every round of the sun.

  249. What a beautiful analogy Lee. No matter what the weather the sun is always shining and will continue in its rhythm. Sometimes it may even seem like the sun is not out. Our light is always shining with the same consistency, its whether we choose to accept it or whether we choose to let a little bad weather get in the way of that fact.

  250. What a beautiful insight you share Lee. Consistency is something I struggle with but I can see by simply developing more awareness of something so beautiful as the sunrise and sunset, consistent markers in every single day, without exception, just might be the key I was looking for. Thank you.

  251. I’m just sitting here and appreciating how building consistency in our lives really does mean that we become more consistent in our ways, and with that, are more able to be consistently ourselves in all areas of life.

  252. I keep getting drawn back to this blog, it’s the word consistency in the title that stops me every time – it is an actual feeling coming from my body not my mind, that loves consistency.

      1. 🙂 i like the cheeky lightness you bring Raymond. And i feel that to Gyl, it is so natural for the body with all its’ rhtyms and cycles to be consistent that it brings and ease and flow when i am living this. It occurs to me that it actually must take quite a it of effort to not be consistent!

  253. I have most enjoyed reading your blog again Lee Green, I have been especially pondering upon this question you have asked: ‘What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?’ The sun reminds me every day that consistency and shining brightly is indeed possible and not only that but actually a very normal way to live.
I am finding that my key to shining brightly as much and as often as I can is found in the small detail, the small moments to choose to feel and express from my heart and my absolute amazingness – this is supporting me to develop and build my consistency and take me into all areas of life.

    1. Thank you Cherise for sharing – I can say that’s true for me too, it’s the little details and moments where I allow myself to be – ‘to express form my heart’ – be it in cooking, walking, a movement, gesture or word – that all add up to building consistency equally in all areas of life.

    2. It is those small moments that build into the bigger picture. Each of those small moments offers a choice and each choice we can chose to be with us or we can make a choice that doesn’t support us. It may seem inconsequential but a tiny step away from yourself is still just that and leads the way for another step in the same direction.

  254. Sometimes I wonder about what are the consistencies in my life and here is the most obvious one of all ‘the sunrise and sunset’, thank you Lee for reminding me.

  255. Learning to be more consistent in my life has been one of the greatest things that I have even learned. It is more valuable than all the precious metals in the world put together. Learning to be consistent has given me the foundation upon which I can express love in a very real way.

    1. The pure gold of consistency – thank you, Elizabeth – your comment honours the true value of consistency and how it paves the way for love to be in every corner of our lives.

    2. I agree Elizabeth, consistency is a lesson I am still learning and ever-developing but wow what a foundation it lays for bringing the light of our being into this world.

  256. Indeed -what if we all started shinning our love into every dark corner of the world, with all our glory and power? Now that’s brotherhood.

    1. That is brotherhood indeed Thomas at its full power. That would be a glorious sight to behold and a true blessing for all.

  257. Nature is there to inspire us if we so allow it, seeing god in the reflections all around that constantly pull us to come back to who we really are.

  258. Your blog reminds me Lee, of the utter stillness and unwaveringness in the ever-shining presence of the sun, far above the lives of men, their preoccupations and their comings and goings. A wonderful reflection of the everness of God’s love in which we are all held.

    1. I love it Josephine. “The utter stillness and unwaveringness in the ever-shining presence of the sun” It is a “wonderful reflection of the everness of God’s love in which we are all held” – and a wonderful reflection of the love that is within us all.

    2. Oh my goodness, I am taking this quote to bed with me tonight – ‘the everness of God’s love in which we are all held’ – thank you, Josephine.

      1. Yes. Everness is a great word. Is it a word? It is now! Maybe we should put a hyphen in it to legitimise it? Ever-ness. Anyway. It is a gigantic word. Just sitting with it, or as you say Matilda, taking it to bed. Gigantic. Thanks Josephine.

  259. This is very beautiful Lee, ‘We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing. Observing the magnificence of dawn and dusk allows us this space’, whatever has been going on in my day, however emotional or stuck in an issue I am, at the end of the day I often sit in my bedroom and look out to the setting sun and I can then feel the bigger picture, i can feel the grandness of nature and of me and this puts all of theses issue into perspective.

  260. Thank you Lee, I do my very best to see the sunrise and sunset most days and indeed every single time it feels like a miracle.

  261. Yes I agree Brendan but why wait for tomorrow? As you always have the next moment in time to be ‘all’ that you are. Whether that be night or day today or tomorrow you can always shine in the moment and if you don’t feel right in a moment, then bring awareness to ‘why’, feel it and then dedicate the next moment to the ‘all’. If we look to tomorrow then we can at times ‘write off’ today but in today there are many moments to choose the ‘all’ and the more moments that are full of this, will guarantee tomorrow will be the same. The consistency of ‘owning’ the moments will be there for you in today or tomorrow, it’s always a choice, our choice.

  262. Hello, this is a great blog and has bought many things but likewise the comments have also built on that. I found when I read the blog it was a great start and a great part but the comments have grown this blog out and made it bigger. It has shown me how we work together and when we do what is said or done is greater and more grander than it was with just one. This is not to take away from you Lee as this was a superb piece of writing but as the comments have shown this was just the beginning in a way and now the building continues, thank you everyone.

    1. I love what you have said here Raymond – indeed, together we are grander and together we make up the whole.

  263. When we allow in the reflections from nature and god then life becomes simple, beautiful and joyful. The rhythm of a cycle like the sunrise and sunset is such a awesome reminder that we keep coming back to the same point and where not actually going anywhere but returning to where we come from. Universal Medicine delivers the wisdom of truth in every cycle.

  264. With consistency comes power and true change. Consistency in love opens up the doors for people to trust that there is another way. A way that we all want, know and can live, if we make the simple choice to say yes to love consistently.

    1. Love what you have said here about love and trust Gyl. It has fathomless power.

    2. Power and true change indeed. People do truly want what consistency, it gives them permission to love themselves and be in the livingness.

  265. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?” This point is a great reminder to us all Lee of what and where we are from.

  266. The sun is such a great example of consistency – what it is like to get up, go to work, return home then rest; get up, work, return home rest… It teaches us that there is something grand at play, a rhythm that is bigger than us all, but that we are all a part of.

    1. The consistency of this rhythm that allows us to expand into every moment knowing the sun is always there, just as love and light are inside us all, equally so.

  267. I have been hiding behind dark clouds for far too long but reading this blog I can feel how limitless the potential for love is. I am reminded that I can choose to shine instead. Thank you Lee.

    1. Yes me too, Leonne. We can loose perspective by only seeing the clouds and not connecting to the absolute glory that is eternally there, in the heavens and equally within us.

    2. Beautifully said Leonne. No matter how many dark clouds you swathe the sun in, its light cannot be wholly blotted out.

  268. I love the reflection of the sun you have written about, and how we ourselves can continue to connect to the loving light within, knowing it is ever shining in the same way. It’s only we ourselves that turn away or spend so much time focusing on the “clouds” that we forget we are still the light. Beautiful to be reminded of the consistency I have within, just like the sun.

    1. I got a flood of appreciation from reading this, I appreciate the dawn of the day, appreciate reading these blogs, and appreciate you all.

  269. What a lovely moment of reflection Lee, it is all too easy to get caught up with the day and what is happening and forget the magnificence that we come from. I can feel my body let go of the tension of the day as I read your blog Lee. Knowing we are from somewhere so more stupendous than where we are at present gives me a warm glow in my body, just like the sun that glows offering this amazing reflection.

  270. The moments of the sun rising and falling is a great moment to reflect back to ourselves but as ottobathurst has said, we are like the sun and it never stops shining.

      1. So love what you have said Matts. The sun doesn’t rah rah and brag it simply brings its glory and we bathe in it!

      2. Love it Matts! So true, the sun just gets on with it, no question, no hesitation…simply full Glory all the way!

  271. I love the pause that your blog inspires. But would also add that, in the same analogy of your blog, it is important not to forget that the sun shines for the whole day – not just the beginning and end. It is glorious to connect to the sunrise and sunset – but I know that for me, the ‘skill’ in living a consistency of my truth, lies in maintaining a constant connection with ‘the sun’ throughout the day – not just at the pause moments. That is what I find hardest and am working on the most. The pause moments are vital and very powerful. But, the sun shines for the whole day (and is also shining at night!)

    1. So true ottobathurst, this is what I am also working on, the consistency of the connection with the “sun” through out the whole day.

    2. Beautifully said ottobathurst – I absolutely agree that consistency is key. You are right that the sun never stops shining and is always there to connect to.

    3. Yes ottobathurst – the sun shines always! And what ever makes it looks like it would not shine (because we do not see it) is an illusion. It is a question of view and awareness. So maybe it is the same with you and me? We shine all the time – but are we aware of it? What view do we choose?

      1. As you so say, whatever the weather, whatever we are ‘seeing’, the sun is shining. And as you also then say….so are we…shining all the time….if we choose to see it.

      2. Isn’t that wonderful? We are shining all the time. What ever we have done in ‘our night time’, in the shadows – it does not matter – we shine! And now the journey to find the view to see and to feel my light again. And then to let all the boundaries fall and let my true light shine, be seen and to inspire others to let their light been seen again as well.
The sun or the light of others can inspire me to ignite again – but in fact my light does not need to be re-ignited (it is always there waiting for me), but what has to be re-ignited is my awareness of it – or my view, my perspective to see my own light again and let it shine through; my choice to see me in truth. Thanks God, Serge Benhayon, Universal Medicine and all Students of the Way of the Livingness for inspiring me in truly seeing.

      3. I love reading your words Sandra. I am currently in a hotel room in a huge tower block in downtown New York. And now reading what you are saying and feeling myself shine, I feel like the sun itself because I am so high up in the sky!

    4. Indeed ottobathurst it is about bringing the love and magnificence that we are into and with each and every moment – that will be consistency… and that is what definitely still is a work in progress for me – the most beautiful work I have ever done.

    5. I love that ottobathurst – indeed we must not forget that the sun shines the WHOLE day, it doesn’t just rise and set, it maintains its beauty each day every day.

    6. Ottobathrust that is a great point and one that is so easy to miss and forget about! Even when we may have grey skies and rain the sun is still shining, and as you said it is also still shining at night! Consistency is the key and is something I know supports me immensely.

    7. Hello Otto and a great call you have made here. We are fooled to thinking the sun rises and then sets. Almost like it shines for only a period of time but move the earth and the sun just shines, never stops, forever consistent. While it is great to appreciate the start and end of each day, it’s important as you say that we realise these are parts of the whole day and not just a point to shine. As you say the sun always shines, day or night and even on public holidays so that is consistent to a tee, it’s absolute.

    8. I like what you are presenting here – that there is actually never an off moment, imagine if the sun took an off moment, we’d all be in darkness! But it’s unthinkable that the sun would ever do that – imagine living with that consistency, it would change everything.

      1. It is an interesting way to see this and something that poses a great question on how the world could really change if we where to really focus on expressing ourselves without holding back.

    9. I love this fact “the sun shines for the whole day”, I see this how our day is sometimes in action and sometimes at rest, and no matter whether it be action or rest we can still shine the whole way through. Thanks for the reminder ottobathurst.

    10. I love this Otto, I too am developing a connection throughout the whole day and it is perfect to be reminded that the sun is always shining, even at night. Thank you.

    11. It’s interesting what you are saying Otto. The sun has been shining consistently for almost five billion years and it will be another five biliion years before it burns itself out. It’s the spinning of our planet that makes night and day. Our geographical position that makes the timing but the sphere that is our planet is always half in the sun and half in the shade. Sunrise and sunset are the fast changing half lights between night and day and special to us because it is the only time we have a reference point to actually see the spinning of the earth.

    12. Exactly Otto. The consistency of the sun is relentless and never does it turn itself down. The powerful radiance of the sun always remains, no matter what may move it front of it or behind it, whether it can be seen or not, it still shines and shines and shines… This is powerful inspiration.

  272. Lee this blog was beautiful to read this morning. Sunrise and sunset always make me stop in awe, and in that moment I do feel an inner stillness that makes me feel connected to the beauty that I see. As you say its a reminder of the ‘magnificence we are from.’

    1. This morning is sat in the kitchen on my computer looking out of the window watching the new day dawn and listening to the birds singing, with a feeling of optimism and wonder at how another day has presented itself for me to make deeper choices to connect to the innate power and wisdom inside of me.

  273. I agree Lee, sunrises and sunsets are a great way to pause and reflect on our day and how we have been living in it.

    1. Reading your comment susanG reminds me of the pause at the beginning of my inbreath and out breath – another great moment to reflect of the quality I am.

      1. Beautiful James – the pause is such a window for awareness to be re-admitted too.

      2. Beautiful metaphor James, sunrise and sunset are like the worlds in and out breath, a continuos and consistent rhythm of life.

      3. Yes, how beautiful. I love how the micro reflects the macro and vice versa, both equally huge and connected. So many opportunities to reflect, one could say there’s a grand design abound! 😉

  274. Beautiful! Thanks Lee. Giving time to be still and appreciate a sunrise or sunset is a perfect way to connect with life…ourselves…nature,… and what’s more we seem to be able to carry that feeling with us afterwards. What a gift! I love it.

  275. Pure Magic Lee, thank you for sharing your deep wisdom and inner knowing of the Love we truly are. I often feel daunted by the day ahead and through reading your blog I felt an ease and a eagerness to get out there and say YES to the constant opportunity to shine my light.

  276. I feel like if I were to choose to shine in all those dark areas within myself, and no longer choose to be ignorant of what I carry around everyday, this would make a huge difference.
There’d be no room for darkness.

  277. Thank you Lee, this is beautifully described, we are all suns that shine all the time but let certain things come in the way blocking our bright light from being seen in full.

    1. Esther that’s beautiful and true, we are all Suns that shine, but allow blockages to limit the light. It’s about working on clearing these blockages so the light can shine clearly without obstruction.

  278. Lee, your words speak of the most ancient wisdom, known by so many peoples yet so often overlooked in the miasma of all the world’s current distractions…
You ask us if we seek to serve, as does the Sun – with the consistency and knowing of all that each day may hold, and the opportunity it offers us to know yet more of who we are, and bless all by virtue of meeting them in such knowing. To then again, rest and restore, in preparation for our light to shine yet again ‘tomorrow’, in the activity of the day…
We are all ‘as the Sun’. Our light ever-shines and will never go away. Thank-you for this missive, I will rest well tonight from being reminded of such deep wisdom.

  279. Wow Lee, this is an absolutely stunning blog. Your expression is so beautiful, just like a rising or setting sun 🙂

  280. Beautiful start into the day and reminder reading your blog Lee and the part:

“What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?

If we started shining into every dark corner of the world, how powerful would that be?”

    Thank you!

  281. Thank you for sharing Lee. Using the sun rising and setting as a marker of consistency is great, it is one thing I know for sure is a constant factor in my life. I can use it as a time to reflect how I have been in between, to assess how I have been living and the choices I have made.

  282. The fact that we all come from the same source, is something that the daily rhythm of the sun and nature reminds us of, and there is nothing more powerful for me than to take a moment to connect to this truth each day.

  283. This is such a beautiful analogy and full of beauty and depth it is. To be able to build such a consistency in my day, as Rosanna says “so I can be counted on” is such an inspiration. Thank you.

  284. “The ever changing patterns of the clouds” took me back to being a kid in the innocence of watching them making up all sorts of pictures and out of them, it was something that I could spend hours on and loved… the simplicity of nature who needs an play station or X Box!!

  285. The magic of God reflecting the magic in all of us and that we are in fact one.

    1. Yes Diane1975, I do too, it has always to me felt like a very special and magical time – often calling me to reflect and feel a part of something so much bigger.

  286. Mmm…A very yummy description of the beauty and magic of sunrise and sunset Lee – which does serve as a reminder for all that is within us. I love how you have related this to consistency – something I am ‘working’ on within myself. The rhythms of nature are so consistent and a great reflection of how we naturally are too.

  287. I love the line, ‘the truth of that connection with our source, with Love, sits glowing within us, like the brightest sun, waiting for the moment of release.’ How amazing to feel this is all within me!

  288. When we see the magnificence of a stunning sunset or sunrise it is such a reminder of all that we are. And then still we are shown more. A rainbow may cross our path as yet another reflection of our connection and deep communion with God.

  289. I love the analogy of how we often only see the dark clouds in our life rather than the beautiful sunset or dawn which is so innately part of who we are. Today my day is about appreciating my own glorious reflection in the same way that I appreciate the magnificent dawn before me.

  290. Thank you Lee, beautiful sharing and questions for us all to ponder on. And I love your line ‘Consider also that each day, dawn and dusk, the visual treat served up by God is another reflection for each and every one of us. We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing. Graceful consistency.

  291. Yes, this is such a true understanding of how our lives can be lived if we but stop and understand that the inevitability of the harmony, beauty and greatness of nature is exactly reflecting to us the grandness that we are in spite of all that happens in human life.
I awoke this morning as dawn was coming into daylight and saw the big full moon in the window of my bedroom as I stood before dressing.
Its solid presence reminded me of my absolute presence, my steadiness, my light for all to see. This is what LOVE IS. It is a good reminder that THIS is me as I go into my day and all that I do.
    Thank you Lee!

  292. Sunrise and sunset, so gorgeous yet it doesn’t cost you cent. Priceless and in endless supply – we are so fortunate.

  293. I too adore dawn and dusk – I love taking photographs of the beauty they reflect. I love how they reflect the uniqueness of each persons expression of divinity.

    1. Hear hear Rebecca and here’s to the dawning of consistency for humanity.

  294. There is nothing more consistent to refer to, no matter what happens in life, we have the rising and the setting of the sun. That is a marker for us all to see what we could do if we were to shine more consistently and live more lovingly. I love your comment that ‘The fact that WE all have the potential to be in harmony, for we are all from the same source, Love, is also an absolute truth for me.’

  295. Such a divine blog Lee.
The images you paint and the analogies you draw are so powerful.
Let us live in harmony, stillness, joy and love with a consistency that honours each and every one equally so.

  296. ‘What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?
If we started shining into every dark corner of the world, how powerful would that be?’ Beautiful Lee, I can feel how powerful that would be.

  297. When I read this blog and consider the rhythm of the sunrise and sunset, it is humbling to feel the simple yet inescapable daily reminder that we are a part of God, nature and everything.

  298. There something about watching the sun rise and setting with the magnificent colours that has always given me a pause to be with myself. I have learned it is great way to ensure I have a clean slate to start the day and a way to clear the slate at the end of the day to bring closure for the days activities.

  299. The support that consistency offers us is quite profound and you have shared this so beautifully in your blog. I love the example of the sun rising and setting each day.
“Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?”
A great question to ponder, thank you for asking it.

  300. Since first reading your blog Lee I have come to pay more attention to the sunrise and sunset and the strength in the consistency of it. With a greater awareness of this I’m finding it easier to start a fresh day, letting go of anything that was not true from the day before. This time of the day provides a very lovely moment to enjoy my deepening connection with myself.

    1. That’s very inspiring David. The sunrise symbolises the dawn of a new day, and we really have no reason to hang on to anything from yesterday. We can choose afresh to begin again every day.

  301. I have always been in awe of the divine beauty seen in sunsets and sunrises. The magnificence of the varied colours displayed around different backdrops/ landscapes all over the world.
When gazing in the sky I feel deeply connected to this exquisite beauty from God. Stillness is felt in the air. What an awesome reminder of the power, divine beauty, and love that we all come from.

  302. Love your blog Lee- I have always been in awe of the divine beauty of sunsets and sunrise- there is magic displayed in the varied colours, and stillness felt in the air. What a beautiful reflection and reminder that we are apart of this Love.
We have a choice to be in harmony, stillness, love, joy and feel truth everyday.

  303. This blog would make a beautiful story book for all ages, the kind that could be used in religion classes. I especially like what you say about the consistency of the shining sun and the analogy that our inner sun is always shining despite the ‘weather’. It reminds me there is a warmth within, no matter what, available without trying but rather by making space and being present to feel it.

    1. Agree Deanne! This would make a wonderful story book, not just for children but for people of all ages, reminding us just how powerful consistency is and the beauty that cannot be hidden within us all.

    2. I love that Deanne – a story book reminding us that our inner sun is always shining no matter what the ‘weather’ looks like.

    3. What a great idea Deanne turning this blog into a story book. How wonderful would it be if there were more children’s books out there presenting the Ageless Wisdom with analogies such as the one that Lee presents here in this blog.

    4. Yes, I agree. A beautiful picture book, with simple words and the glorious images of our suns, moons, sunsets and so on reflecting various qualities radiating with steady presence : a reminder of our natural state of being in everyday life

    5. Deanne it can be a great book and I can see the beautiful illustrations. I love where you highlight ‘…..there is a warmth within, no matter what, available without trying but rather by making space and being present to feel it.” The only lack in life is presence in our choices.

  304. Thank you, Lee, “The Dawning of Consistency” is such a wonderful title and aptly describes the power of divinity in nature and the rhythms of life.

  305. I totally get what you are saying Lee – the colours have such a wide spectrum and each one is simply beautiful. This is the confirming magnificence of the Sun and the cycle that it flows in. Just like us we have our cycle that is in relationship with the Sun and just like the Sun we can be this magnificent.

  306. Thanks Lee you have brought a great opportunity to marvel and claim for we are as you say very much part of the whole and all reflections of nature are but a reminder that the kingdom of God is within us all.

  307. Thank you for such a beautiful sharing Lee, I noticed a gorgeous sunset yesterday and it made me stop and appreciate the Magic of God. I love what you express here and shall bring this to my next sunset and sunrise –
“We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing. Observing the magnificence of dawn and dusk allows us this space.”

  308. Lee this is such a beautiful article. I too have been observing the sunrises of late and the myriad of colours, cloud formations and light patterns that come with it. Connecting this with the divinity and love shining from myself each day has been a huge revelation reading this, so thank you. Bring on the shining on, for all! 🙂

    1. Yes I am realising how consistency really lays the foundation with inner strength. When in the momentum of it I feel amazing and that nothing is too much trouble. However to sustain consistency I am realising takes real commitment – there really can’t be an off time, because it is when I slip into turning off or wanting to turn off, that the overwhelm kicks in… I am only just beginning to be prepared to accept that there is no off – which is as much to say, beginning to be prepared to saying no to “checking out”. Each time I check out a brick in the foundation of my consistency drops off and I have to work hard to build it back up again.

  309. I just had to come back to your delightful blog again this morning Lee, especially as the sun, or the lack of it, became a topic of conversation yesterday when I was with some friends. It was a very stormy day and they were complaining about the weather. When they had finished, I said very gently, with your words in mind, “well you know that one thing’s for sure”, and when they asked what that was, I replied “the sun is still shining above the clouds”.
“That doesn’t help to make the weather better” one grumbled as she began to check the messages on her phone, “I suppose you’re one of those cheery people who say that the sun is always shining somewhere!” Then next minute she burst out laughing and shared that the first email she opened was one from a travel agency, and the first line in the email said “The sun is always shining somewhere!”. What a magic moment! Thanks Lee for the inspiration.

  310. Harmony is not a word that we use much in the context of how we live, yet I have heard presented that harmony is the real way to live free of war as with harmony we would never want to go to war whereas with peace it is just a stop until the next conflict. That to me makes perfect sense, harmony is within us all if we allow it and feels quite a glorious way to connect to the magic of life and god.

  311. Lee I love the simplicity of your blog. And how today I walked in and with the sun. The sun and me. We both soaked in each other’s warm connecting rays. I committed to feeling all of me when I walked – nothing to think but simply walking with me.

  312. Wow Lee, this is a gorgeous analogy “We can all count on the rising and setting of the sun – this daily occurrence is an absolute truth, for it never stops” …Building that consistency so that we too can be counted on.

    1. rosannabianchini, gorgeous insight. I am saying an absolute “yes” to building my consistency so that I can be counted on just like the sun!

    2. I agree Rosanna, consistency is an amazing characteristic that many people respect and love in other people – learning to have consistency is very supportive of yourself and others – being able to be relied upon by others and learning to trust yourself

      1. I agree Rebecca, and it was the consistency in Serge Benhayon that showed me I could to start to trust again.

      2. Serge Benhayon’s consistency has inspired hundreds of people because of his unwavering commitment to love – he is the same with every single person.

  313. Lee reading your blog today, I get the feeling of how important it is for us to be consistant with allowing our inner light to shine, no matter what is occuring in our daily life.

    1. Yes consistent, like the magnificent sun above the clouds, it is always shining in its fullness. Never holding back its warmth for all to feel; great analogy for us to remind ourselves on a daily basis.

    2. I agree mccannelizabeth, something I am learning is that these so called clouds are all a choice, for me usually a choice to stay in comfort or hide. They can then become a story and an excuse – when all along the most simple choice and way to live, is to say yes to love and shine.

  314. The sun always shines from within even if a cloud passes over or a lightening storm shakes us to the core. The storm will pass, the clouds will disappear and the sun will shine brightly once again. Simply beautiful Lee.

  315. The title says it all for me in this stunning blog – each day we can choose to be the dawn of consistency.

  316. Dear Lee, I absolutely love the poetry in your blog. The beautiful reflection which sun gives us, it’s consistency, light and warmth as well as enormous power is the same as our essence.

  317. Really sweet blog Lee. There is something so gentle and nurturing about sunrise and sunset just like the presence of the moon or the stars or the sun. We assume that they will all be there for us in the morning and at night. They offer themselves to us with consistency and, as you suggest Lee, such a beautiful reflection of the consistency of love that we can bring to all those dark places. Thank you for providing the opportunity for me to consider this more deeply.

  318. I have been contemplating the nature of time and the fact that the idea of day and night only exist here on earth. In outer space, there is no sunrise or sunset; we are held in the ever present… present. The stillness of God.

    1. So true Jinya, the sunrise and sunset is just for our us. It is a continuous reminder of our connection with the cycles of life and that we are all part of a greater whole, known as God.

  319. Thank you Lee for this beautiful descriptive blog. Sunrise and Sunset are the most beautiful and still times of the day, and I feel that this allows us to touch and be touched by that amazing light that is within us also.

  320. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?” Top blog Lee and a great reminder that we can change the way we view our lives and the world at any time.

  321. Lee I really love the reflection of our everyday dawn bringing the newness and the ever day dusk restoring us back to fullness. Very beautiful indeed, thank you.

  322. Thank you Lee for expressing so beautifully ‘The fact that WE all have the potential to be in harmony’ as this is not often said in a world that feels to be in disharmony. If we connect to our potential we can again become unified and live as one with ourselves and with the world – as said so beautifully by Michael Benhayon in his song ‘One Unified’

  323. Loved reading your article, Lee, thank you. We have been having the most amazing sunsets in Sydney this week, vibrant oranges and pinks, just gorgeous. I love observing the beauty the sky showers down on us, now I’m inspired to also reflect on my own ‘magnificence’ more, thank you.

  324. Such a beautiful sharing with us all Lee. So many reminders for us all not to take for granted the many gifts we have been blessed with.

  325. This blog is beautiful, I can read it everyday, as a reminder when I forget where I come from, that place of magnificence, that place we are ALL from.

  326. Dear Lee, this is a beautiful, humbling and inspiring blog – sometimes I can let little things get to me, and by choice allow them to become much bigger than they need to be – this is a comfort – of hiding the consistency, power and joy I know I am and can live each day.

  327. I do love this blog Lee, I often let the busyness of life overtake the time to take in the sunsets, both within and without. This blog makes me realise how much I am missing when I let this happen. Thanks brother.

  328. Isn’t it funny that in truth there is no sun rising or going down – the sun is always on the same point in the Universe – standing still. I am the one who is moving…

    1. This deepens my appreciation of the consistency even more. “The Sun is always at the same place in the Universe – standing still” and radiating love constantly.
On the planet we reside as we move, we see a sunrise and a sunset that frames our day. What a clever way of defining the window of opportunity we are presented with again and again to deepen our connection and, just like the Sun, shine the love that is also our essence.

  329. Thank you Lee, I’ve also loved and appreciated sunrise and sunsets. There is so much beauty and consistency in nature, reminding us that we too can live in the same harmony and flow, and no matter what, our light never goes out.

  330. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?” – This is a truly powerful statement, Lee, and I thank you for the great reminder. I have always really been pulled to be outside during sunrise and sunset, and somehow the golden light of a sunset lighting up a patch of otherwise dark woods seems to have always reminded me of a Divine source of that kind of light. I feel that’s what pulls me to be outside in during those times of the day.

  331. Lee, thankyou for this gorgeous reminder. The sun does not stop shining because a few clouds get in the way.

    1. So true Liane, whether it is a few clouds, a little rain or a huge storm, all will pass and the sun will still be shining.

  332. This blog shares some beautiful pearls of wisdom, that we don’t hear about or read about in main stream media or even in our education system. One specific part is this “We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing. Observing the magnificence of dawn and dusk allows us this space.” Growing up nobody ever before suggested to me that each day there was an opportunity to stop and reflect like this and also to consider that “no matter how hard we may try to deny or alter this fact, the truth of that connection with our source, with Love, sits glowing within us, like the brightest sun, waiting for the moment of release.” Thank you to the teachings of the ancient wisdom that have open’s up our minds to be able to feel and see more of what is truly available to all, and live in a way where we can express with such beauty as in this blog.

  333. What you are offering us all is very powerful Lee. The consistency of the sunrise and sunset is a perfect reflection for us all. We all come from a constant and unwavering love that is who we really are, and if allow ourselves to know this and observe life as it happens and not react to it, then the knowing of this love stands as our truth.

  334. What I love about the reflection of the sun is that even though it rises and sets from where we are, it never stops shining in full, even behind the biggest storm and thickest clouds and strongest rain…what more could we ask for by way of inspiration for consistency.

    1. This is such a cool and important reminder. The sun is always shining, just as our innermost spark is always there, untainted. Two things therefore; what do we put in the way so we cannot see the shine and why do we forget it is there? Thank you Lee and Sara for paving the way to a consistent relationship with the spark that is always ready and waiting.

      1. Exactly Matilda, no matter what we do to avoid it, hide it or bury it…our spark will forever stay alight. But how bright do we really go? it is our choice to shine like the sun for all to see without turning ourselves down. The sun doesn’t look at other stars and compare brightness, get jealous of one that may be burning brighter or dim and dull in case it feels jealousy from another star! The sun and the stars all know that we are part of a universal constellation and we all have our light to bring in equal measures…each one needed as part of the whole, no exceptions.

  335. The sun doesn’t really rise and set, it sits stationary in space, that it moves is an illusion.
It’s our position on planet earth that spins though space at 1500 plus kph that makes the sun appear to move.
As we move out of he darkness every morning and the sun appears into view above the horizon in front of us, sunlight floods the earth. We pass underneath it at mid day and by evening it has disappeare below the horizon behind us.
This is when the show really begins if it is a clear night and if you are far enough away from civilisation for there to be zero light pollution.
As we continue to move forward through the night we pass beneath the most magnificent procession of the billions and billions of stars and galaxies of our nieghbours that surround us.
If you can actually get the feel of this you realise what an exciting spaceship our planet is.

    1. You have given us the whole universal picture Nicholas, and how beautiful it is, and how we can feel it if we do but take the time to be aware. It puts everything in perspective if we remember that we are turning and the sun is still. It was when our ancestors believed that we were still and the sun revolved around US that a huge arrogance arose in humankind, and we lost connection with that spherical view you describe.

  336. I love the analogy of the amazing Love that we are being like the sun within, waiting to shine out. We don’t have to do anything or be perfect, we just have to connect to that light and shine. Thank you Lee.

  337. Thank you Lee, the beauty of what you present is as grand and consistent as the sunrise and sunset. 🙂

  338. Such a profound observation: “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?” Stopping, observing and deepening our awareness if the magnificence we are from, is something we can never do enough of.

  339. Lee that is a great way to look at ourselves like the sunrise and set and the weather. We are all lovely deep down but situations and happenings cloud our shine. Just like bad weather clouds our view of the sun.

  340. Lee this is such a beautiful blog, an amazing analogy pointing out the grandness of nature and that we are all part of it – 24/7. Thank you.

  341. Lee this is absolutely gold! I love what you are sharing here, and I feel the more I commit to live my life appreciating and knowing who I am the more I create a consistency and a flow in my life where nothing can be too big or challenging as like the sun I know can also shine ever so brightly.

  342. Lee, you’ve landed on something here. Sunset and sunrise are undeniably beautiful, but there’s something about them that goes deeper. All people feel it; you can tell how important it is by the great emphasis placed on sunrises and sunsets the world over and for the longest time. And the way people gather to watch together with a special feeling of harmony and unity among them.
A few years back, on a research project on an island in the Great Barrier Reef, I’d go each evening and join a bunch of scientists who’d gather at the beach to watch the sun set. A change would come over us, different from the head-focussed daily way of being in the lab or at any other time really. I’ve even seen animals sit quietly gazing at a beautiful sunset with an air of contemplation; they feel it too.
No matter what may have happened, sunset and sunrise are the assurance that every ending will be followed by a new opportunity to rejoin the harmony of all, and a consistent connection within that means we are never alone, never excluded, always held in divine Love.

    1. Beautifully expressed Dianne. We are forever bathed in the Magic of God, no matter whether we believe such a thing to exist of not. (Are we the only creatures to question this?! It seems the animals of earth may well teach us a thing or two about acceptance…)

    2. diannetrussell this reminds me of the chorus of birds I hear in the morning waking up for the day when everything feels very still compared to the hustle and bustle of the daytime. As you share, there has always been something about sunrise and sunset that stops people and helps us reflect and see the wonder in God/Nature.

    3. I have noticed so often dianetrussell that at dawn and dusk a stillness pervades, and everything seems to be in tune with it, even if we are not actually watching a sunrise or sunset. In the evening the last bird calls and in the morning the first bird calls in that stillness, reflecting to us the coming and going of the sun. And sunrise and sunsets are not ” a moment”, they are the continuum of movement that we do not feel so consciously during the day, but at those sunrise and sunset times, in the very presence of being able to discern and feel and see the movement of earth and heavens, we become aware of the that beautiful motion of which we are a part, and in which we live.

      1. So true, Joan, it’s not just a ‘moment’ but a continuum. One can stop any time during the day and feel that magical connection by listening to the birds, letting the sun shine through your eyelids, the wind lift your hair…..however, knowing that inner stillness and sacredness, why not choose literally every moment to connect to it no matter where one is or what’s going on? When I can do this, life becomes such a rich, deep, joyful experience where even waiting for a bus or hanging out the washing is glorious.

      2. I notice at these times I allow myslef to be more conscious of the magesty of nature, the Magic of God in life and my deep interconnection with it all. What a blessing to read this article and these comments and to reflect on this, and to be reminded that “knowing that inner stillness and sacredness, why not choose literally every moment to connect to it no matter where one is or what’s going on?” Why not indeed. Great point.

  343. Looking past the visual beauty of what the sun is actually offering us, simply beautiful. It is quite easy to get caught in the spectacle that we are seeing and be oblivious to the “but wait there’s more” if we are not choosing to be fully aware.

  344. I too love the glorious colours that the sunrise and sunsets display and I also love the link you have made between the colours of them to the harmony and love, that resides within each and every single person and that we all can shine like the sun and light up the world if we choose too.

  345. I love your blog Lee, so simply and beautifully drawn for us to be able to feel the truth of ourselves through the reflection of nature. I was wondering about night time, when the sun is the other side of the world from us. In the UK our night is your day in Australia, and we know the sun is there for you even though it is hidden behind the clouds sometimes. We know it is always shining somewhere, giving us that sense of the spherical world we live on. There is also the Moon that reflects the sun’s light for us at night time and lights up the dark, just as we can receive and give reflection to others.

    1. I agree, and I love all these comments, it feels like it makes what Lee describes possible.

    2. A magnificent painting steffihenn, and one equal to every human being is as well. Imagine if we truly felt this light and colour and movement in our body every day!

  346. Thank you for these wonderful words so full of beauty and deeper sense Lee.
We are utmost magnificence within, once we accept it, the clouds that hide this magnificent inner sunshine will melt away, and the beauty of what is revealed will invite others to feel that exactly the same is warmly glowing deep within them.

    1. I agree “the clouds that hide this magnificent inner sunshine will melt away”, it is beautifully expressed. Sharing sun and light, gorgeous.

  347. Lee, this is gorgeous. Love making with words. Nature reflects us continuously where we are from: love, brotherhood and divinity. And yes, I am in: let’s shine, without holding back, every day.

  348. How beautiful to see the one rising like the sun every day..! Guess what if truly everybody would see it like that, all coming from the same source, shining bright through the day.

  349. I love the fact that the sun shines so consistently and is only ever hidden from view by passing clouds. Likewise our inner light is the same. It is always there when we choose to connect to it. I love how you have expressed this in such a simple and beautiful way.

    1. It is indeed always there Rebecca and that is deeply graceful when I feel that to be true.

  350. What a delight to read this Lee, a beautiful and gem-filled blog. I love your opening and the exquisite joy and natural wonder that can be felt in what you describe. I too so enjoy the visual gifts we are naturally given each day to witness. What I love is that I don’t go looking for it, I might glance up and wow an amazing sunset, the sky streaked red just before me, right there, exactly at the right time, just as I need it – either to confirm how I’m feeling or remind me I’ve stepped away from my glory. It always stops me, giving me an opportunity to pause and feel and appreciate what is before me or remind me to come back to my inner glow and sunshine within me. The support that is there for us all is truly amazing.

    1. Yes Candida, everything in every moment is a reflection for us to be supported in learning and evolving, we just have to truly open up and let ourselves feel what is there to be felt.
Nothing there to be done but a universe of beauty to be discovered.

      1. Beautiful michaelkremer2212, and learning to open up and to appreciate all the support that is right there for us, allows even more of it to come in.

  351. Lee I love the magnificence and the simplicity of life you’ve described in this blog. I too have found sunsets and rises to be extremely powerful. It’s only recently I’ve felt them to be a reflection of my own wonder. Having read your blog today I feel such a beautiful reminder of asking myself, what clouds have I let get in the way of my appreciation of myself and those around me?

    1. I love what you have said here Karin; “what clouds have I let get in the way of my appreciation of myself and those around me?”. I am going to be watching for those clouds today!

    2. I love this reminder, the reflection of my own divinity that I choose to obscure with clouds at times. How loving the choice to not obscure the source that I come from with those clouds and reflect to my fellow brothers that they from the same source which is LOVE.

  352. Lee you have shown us how we can open our eyes to the divine power of natures reflections – that love is born from consistency and rhythm.

  353. Beautiful Lee. ”The fact that We all have the potential to be in harmony, for we are all from the same source, Love, is also an absolute truth for me”. It is also an absolute truth for me too.Who can argue against that we are all from the same source, Love? We all have the potential to be in harmony and I know we will one day…it is simply a choice.

  354. I love the connection you’ve made here Lee. It seems so fitting that the brilliance of a sunset and sunrise is a reflection of us as humans. God has created many great reflections for us.. The sun is still shining even though it is covered by the clouds. Just like we are still shining even though we are covered with what’s not us. We just don’t notice it until we get our clouds out of the way.

  355. A superb reminder of the rhythm of nature that is equally within us all – there is no complication in the Sun’s rhythm, consistency is it’s nature. This is a beautiful reflection for me as this too is my nature and the nature of everyone of us, minus the complication we choose…

  356. Lee I have always loved the sunrise and sunset too, marvelling in the beauty, the light, and feeling a connection to God and all that is divine. What I love is how you have described the sunset within and how we can shine consistently too every day. The next time I feel the clouds descending I’m going to close my eyes and imagine the sun rising in me and allow myself to feel the gloriousness of my light.

    1. Love your last sentence, Michelle, “The next time I feel the clouds descending I’m going to close my eyes and imagine the sun rising in me and allow myself to feel the gloriousness of my light”. That feels a great way to disperse those clouds that do tend to help us forget that wonderful sun (light) we have within.

  357. oooh, I love this Lee, ‘Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’ It makes me feel the magnificence I am made up of, gives me a visual. Thank you.

    1. I agree Kate, one cannot help but be touched by Lee’s expression and his words certainly do reach a deep place within as a reminder of the gloriousness that we all are truly.

    2. I agree Kate, sunsets and sunrises will never be the same as they will represent forever more what I am within. And the consistency of this will never change.

    3. I agree Kate. I absolutely love the visual Lee has provided too – reading it instantly ignites the spark up inside me which is always constantly connected to God and the natural expression to love. The rest is a choice. I am shining and smiling from the inside after reading this. Thank you Lee.

  358. A great illustration of what we too can bring into our lives and thus into the lives of all we have around us – consistency is what can strengthen the foundation of trust for ourselves and others may then be able to trust more, just as we can trust the Sun..

    1. Love that you have brought in ‘trust’ here Annie. The Sun and its glory is our teacher and healer – it is always there, forever radiating its divinity, we can trust it totally and so surrender.

    2. Love your comment Annie. I have found this to be true, having little to no trust, consistency has turned this round, my trust continues to grow, in myself, others and the world.

      1. What a beautiful and honest comment I find really inspiring Ruth. Thank you

    3. The absolute certainty that the sun rises and sets – we are always supported by this and I feel the opportunity that every day presents – new beginnings, same love, my choice.

      1. So true Matilda – we are forever held and supported by this natural cycle, or we can go against it – the choice is ours.

  359. Lee Green, you have touched my heart in more ways than one with this blog. It is absolutely gorgeous. I too love to see and photograph every sunset and sunrise that I can and love everything you have shared about the consistency that is marked each time I view them. What if we lived with this consistency indeed? I for one am completely open to this possibility and opportunity in my every day.

  360. Wow I love this Lee, “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?”
Thank you for the reminder today Im taking this opportunity to shine!

  361. The sun never stops shining regardless of the weather. It sounds simple but then how much time do we spend focused on the weather below the sun or our issues in life. We enjoy it when our access to the sun is not restricted but sometimes it is by clouds and other times literally dampened with rain but without the sun being there how could we see the weather change without its light? What your blog got me considering Lee was that yes it may seem like our lives, situations, moments are negative but without a light within us how would we know the ‘weather/our choices’ were negative to begin with.

  362. The eternal sun shining no matter what the weather conditions is something we often forget. The sun will always rise and set giving us a connection to the rhythm of life on earth and as you say Lee an opportunity to reflect on the day … But the sun never stops shining just like the divine spark of God that is within us all.

  363. That would be really powerful and possible. I really liked how you gave us a reflection of consistency and what is possible for us by using nature.

  364. Lee your analogy is great. In the same way that we can all ignore the very sky above us, so too can we ignore the love within us until one day it becomes as blindingly obvious as the sky and then we shall wonder how on earth we ignored it for so long !

  365. “For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.” The metaphor here is so powerful, especially the relationship with how consistent the sun is, every day coming round again to provide us with another opportunity.
And even though there may be clouds at the end of the day (or the beginning) this creates a beauty of its own with silver linings and a kaleidoscope of colours that mirror the richness of our learning that is available each and every day if we are just willing to look up and see it.

  366. I share your fascination with sunrises and sunsets and love the inspiration of this comment ‘Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’ Thank you Lee for expressing it so beautifully.

  367. I so love your blog Lee such a powerful reminder of the love of God and his loving reflection he offers every morning and evening. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?” I love this line and I will remind myself of it the next time I look at the sunset, such a lovely way to close the day instead of the usual thoughts of what needs to be done.

  368. “Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?
That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?” Truly gorgeous Lee, thankyou. I have moved recently to a house where I can see the sun rise from my front room and the sunset from the kitchen – both over green fields – I feel truly blessed.

  369. Lee this is beautiful. I love how you described the magnificence of Nature and how it is always reflecting back even when the day’s weather changes how it is seen.

  370. Lee I’d not looked at the sunrise and sunset like this before but it is indeed a consistent reflection; during the day the sun is always there, and what I felt from your blog was, even if there is a rain cloud, dark skies, clouds, lighting, the sun is shining 24/7, it’s just sometimes obscured by things that are in its way. Yet how quickly those can pass and back to the beaming rays again. It is a great reflection for that greatness, magnificence that is indeed within us, always shining – but it’s up to us if we put anything in front of it to try and obscure the light.

  371. Lovely blog Lee, I am always fascinated with what nature can bring to us and it is just a matter to stop and to allow ourselves to observe it

  372. “take stock of how we have been expressing.” In this simple act and choice so much can be revealed – it really is simple – have I been expressing love or not.

  373. Thank you Lee for the questions and reminding me and everyone of being “a sun” that shines unperturbed of the weather, that only occurs in a special sphere around the earth in reflection of the earth. What a beautiful analogy is that.

That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?
What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?
If we started shining into every dark corner of the world, how powerful would that be?

  374. Lovely blog Lee. I can so relate to what you have said about the beauty and reflection the sun rising and setting. I hadn’t made that connection as deeply as to how “the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen” in the analogy that what we take on or choose to do alters the perception of that inner essence and glory. So truly and lovingly expressed. This was a pleasure to read.

  375. After reading this blog yesterday I woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise over lush green hills. And I was reminded that here is another day to practise consistency.

  376. Thank you Lee, I will re-read your blog as it offers a deep reflection of who I am and what I can observe and choose to be aware and apart of.

    1. This blog is going on my save and return to list also katinkadelannoy, it’s completely simple and embodies everything that I too feel about the absolute reflection of God and nature ..in all its joy and glory.

  377. On re-reading this powerful and beautiful blog, I am simply resting with the line: ‘What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?’ I have just had a slightly ‘iffy’ week, but as I read and stayed with your line there Lee I felt some of the clouds clear to let the ‘Son’ back in! Thank you!

    1. Thank you Lee, beautiful blog!
Consistency is the word I need to embody and also apreciation within me of the beauty that nature reflects.

    2. ha ha Lyndy letting the “son” back in gave me a good laugh although it was never out. You and your humour is a ray of sunshine all of its own – which just goes to show it is available everywhere and in every moment.

  378. ‘The dawning of consistency.’ . . to me that says it all . . . if you look up the origins of ‘consistent’ in the dictionary it comes from the Latin word meaning standing firm and still. Standing firm and still in the face of whatever happens in a day is something I now appreciate and welcome as once upon a time before I came upon Universal Medicine I would be blown around all over the place at the mercy of what was going on around me with absolutely no true sense of my true self.

    1. Beautifully said Kathleen. I can relate to everything you say here.

  379. I also love the sky in the morning and the evening and now you have given me some true inspiration to deepen this experience and further feel into the amazing colours and shapes.

  380. This is beautiful and so profound. There’s an order and rhythm in which the Universe operates that never betray or go astray, and we are surrounded by it and have it inside us. We are that harmony, that stillness, that love, that joy. How we express that, colours our days.

    1. So exquisite Fumiyo, we are absolutely made of that same quality of light, love and consistency that nature reflects to us solidly, in each and every day. Accepting our own expression of this and that of others and all that surrounds us will deepen the harmony that is possible between us all.

  381. Beautifully expressed Lee. I am blessed with wonderful sunset views; you have inspired me to take a pause and reflect even more deeply at this consistent daily spectacle.

  382. Lee, I love how you have shared this so beautifully about the sun rise and sunset. What stood out for me very much was the part where you talked about the sun always shining with the same strength and power and never lesser the next day – yet it is the clouds and storms that come between the suns rays and us that appear to diminish its strength. This to me is a great analogy about our own power that shines at full strength no matter what, yet sometimes we allow things to cloud that shine so that it does not reach everyone all of the time. For me this is grand – to know that the power of the sun lies within us all, and it is just for us to let it shine out and observe when we allow clouds to interfere. Thank you Lee!

    1. Yes, love that! We always shine, just like the sun and we can choose whether or not we allow this warmth, strength and power to come out.

  383. Lee, your blog has offered me a great reminder about consistency and the reflection of consistency that nature always provides (no matter what is going on, the sun always rises and sets) and also that there is no start / beginning and that in fact life is a cycle of rhythm. Nature reminds us that these qualities are naturally within us also.

    1. Yes absolutely Angela – the sun always rises and sets each day, which is probably the most powerful reflection of true consistency one could ask for!

  384. A beautiful reflection on sunrise and sunset Lee. They have both always given me such loving moments to pause and feel the magic of God and myself and know we are all always shining.

  385. Awesome lee ,I have very much enjoyed this blog with the reminder of how awesome the sunrise and sunset and how it relates to us and the light and power we all hold equally within.

  386. Hi Lee, I really enjoyed reading your blog – your expression I felt to be really beauty-full, inspiring and poured forth from a deep well of love from within – thank you.

  387. Nature in the harmony and consistency of its’ rhythm is offering us the reflection to come to the same – that this who we all are in essence – the magic of nature and God reflecting to us how we can and are to be. Lee, this has helped me deepen my understanding and connection to what opportunities are there being reflected to me by nature and assisting me to consider more deeply the importance of the messages that she is offering. Sadly, I feel, it’s far to common for us to forget the magnificence we come from but in writing this article Lee you’ve brought this very thing to our attention as an important reminder.

  388. Love this Lee, and I too always appreciate the skies and changing light, particularly in different parts of the world, the inky blue black skies or dusks in tropical Singapore, are quite different to those in the English countryside. They even smell different to me. But whatever it is the expanse of the skies are always felt – their consistency and sureness to rely upon, their glory of all the differing ways they express each day and night, there for us to appreciate. Your post has made me connect to this within me, what I see up above, is equally as is down below. Thank you Lee for this beautiful reminder.

    1. Gorgeous comment Zofia – its so easy to get in-volved with our lives, or staring down at the computer or task. Our relationship with the sky helps to broaden our horizons… and bringing smell in is just a whole new dimension!

  389. So beautiful, what life and nature is full of. How beautiful would it be if we started shining in every dark corner of the world.

  390. Lee this is pure poetry. And that each day we are offered once again the possibility that we shine the light we are, no matter what went before. What love are we from and what love is in us then.

  391. A wonderful analogy and truly challenging question: “What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?” Challenging only because one knows deep down, it’s unnatural not to be.

  392. There is so much to consider in your blog Lee, thank you.
You are so right about how reassuring the rhythms of sunrise and sunset are and how we can draw on nature to live that consistency ourselves. I have always appreciated the beauty of a sunrise or sunset and enjoyed all the colours but particularly felt a connection to God in these moments .
Yes the sun is always shining just like we are !

    1. Yes, that consistency is amazingly helpful, especially when things are a bit more difficult. Having the consistency to fall back on is so very helpful.

  393. Yes a great reflection of the consistency we can bring to our everyday life. It is interesting how the truth is that the sun does not move and it is the movement of our planet that makes it look like it is going up and down. This draws a parallel with how our love and light is a constant and we move in and out of it.

  394. A beautiful and true reflection Lee, I loved what you said about the sun always shines, sometimes its obscured by clouds but behind the clouds its shining.
Our love is the same, it is always shining and always with us, even when the clouds of life appear to obscure it.

    1. That reminds me of a movie I once watched, it was about fallen angels who had come to earth to help and had built hard robotic bodies around them. When the time came for them to leave because they had come to the end of the mission to save the world, their hard bodies opened and the light from their heart, like sunshine, flooded out and they shot back up to the heaven. Great analogy, the sunshine is always there, inside of us just waiting for us to open up and let it out.

  395. A Beautiful analogy Lee, the consistent never failing cycle of the day. A Reflection of our true foundation of Love that never changes. In each of the lives of people, life is happening in many different forms all of the time, but if our foundation of Love is solid then everything else is supported. Thank you Lee for the amazing reflection of the love we are.

  396. Thanks Lee, a simple sweet reminder that we are indeed the conductors of our own weather and not a victim of circumstance. This appreciation of the beginning and end and the end of the beginning of each days cycle is a great tool to break possible “weather patterns or incoming storms on the radar”, thank you for your beautiful analogy.

  397. I was stretching this morning in the moonlight and enjoyed the bright light shining into my room before it set…and then I read your blog. It is awesome.
The rhythms of nature have so much on offer for us if we only just stop to appreciate them.
I grew up on the Ocean sailing around the world and watched a lot of sunrises and sunsets, and many a moon rising and setting, creating beautiful reflections across the ocean. These were times when the whole family would come together and pause for a moment. I find it harder to do this now living on land, and living a busy life, yet the opportunity presents itself day in and day out.
I love how you wrote that the sun shines regardless of what the clouds or wind does. I will remember that when it feels stormy around me. Thank you.

    1. When I was young we used to sail a lot, and my fondest memories were the early mornings watching the sunrise and the stillness and calm water and the shimmering light across the sea and the gentle lapping of the sea against the boat, it was these simple moments that I shared with my father that I treasure most.

    2. Thanks for bringing that up again Rosie – there is always a source of love available to us no matter what storm we have created. Its good to remember that.

  398. This is a gorgeous blog Lee. ‘If we started shining into every dark corner of the world, how powerful would that be?’ – That is an excellent question, to which my answer is… Let’s find out! How we live our daily lives can make all the difference, and by living love we have the potential to inspire hundreds to do the same.

    1. I love it Susie …. yes, let’s find out! How simple and to the point is that. It is accepting that we all CAN make such a difference to the world and be an inspiration by allowing ourselves to shine in the world.

  399. Thanks Lee I loved reading this and love how nature leads us home.

  400. This is really gorgeous Lee – an awesome reminder of the magnificence we are from. Coming from this knowing makes the other things that distract and cloud over me, like relationship problems, seem small in comparison and allows for more consistency in living who I naturally am.

  401. Stunning article Lee. I remember going for a beach walk a while ago and watching the sun rise. As I stopped and waited for that moment, I became aware of the many people who had also come to see the sun rise. These moments in nature are never boring, we could watch them everyday and be astounded by the absolute beauty and majesty of each moment. As I watched the sun, it’s power was there available from the first speck of light to when I saw it’s whole brightly lit package. It always shines in full all the time (not just through our day) never stopping. There may be clouds or rain but the sun never stops shining. As you have shared…beautiful moments to observe and reflect on for our own lives.

  402. I also love to photograph the sunrise and sunsets Lee. You have described in words beautifully what it is that I am capturing with my shots.

  403. Another strong reminder I felt in your blog Lee is that of our rhythm and how I am learning to have the same consistency of the planet’s daily cycle in my rhythm so that I can deepen it lovingly with each cycle of my own be it a day, a week or even a year.

  404. Really beautiful Lee as you have offered the reader an opportunity to truly ponder the way in which we enter and live each day.

  405. A beautiful description of cycle that we all know well in life. I appreciate how you describe the opportunity we have to reflect on what has occurred in our day “We are given the grace and opportunity in the day to pause, reflect and take stock of how we have been expressing. Observing the magnificence of dawn and dusk allows us this space.” The cycle of day to night, coming around again has always felt very poignant to me and the dawn and dusk offer something divine that allows deep stillness in their quality if we wish to feel it.

    1. Yes that is true, at dawn and dusk, if we stop and listen, the bird song changes, and if we give ourselves the time, we can also slow down and stop and come back to a place of stillness within ourselves, even if it is only for a few minutes.

  406. What a gorgeous blog, thank you Lee for reminding me to shine as bright as can be during the day and then enjoy the amazingness of my light in the evening reflecting and appreciating my reflection.

  407. Great blog Lee Green and it reminded me to appreciate more the lovely still moments at the beginning and the end of every day when I am lying in bed when all activity has ceased before sleep at the end of the day and lying in bed in the quiet of the morning just before getting up and starting my day. My own ‘sunrise and sunset’. Thanks.

    1. I get the sense that you are feeling and appreciating at these times Andrew great bookends to the fullness of feeling and appreciating the amazing day in between.

  408. Great to be reminded that the ‘weather’, the challenges or personal moods that we create or move through during our days, even those which seem like huge storms, do not alter the truth of what is within us, always.

  409. Just beautiful, Lee. It compels me to stop right now and take a moment in my day to take stock. Thank you.

    1. Exactly Naren, imagine if we all started to truly take stock, clock ourselves, where we are at and what to choose next. Then the world would start to shift a lot of the stuff that goes on.

  410. This blog is like a painting Lee. A beautiful and vivid reminder of the sun in the sky and the Son inside.

    1. I saw a painting forming also! Thanks for bringing it back to basics Lee.

    2. Beautifully said Rebecca and truly appreciated. As God writes across the sky in all the colours of the rainbow – we each have an amazing expression that when let loose can bring all sorts of wonder to the world and each other.

  411. That is a beautiful reflection Lee, I so enjoy the sunrise and sunset but how often do I only observe it and feel the beauty of it without allowing it to be a reflection of the beauty that I Am!

  412. You have captured so beautifully the magic of sunrise and sunset. It is a global fascination these times of the day and I’ve often wondered about why this is so. Why do we all stop at these times of the day to bear witness to the glory when we often don’t take the time to stop for other things ? Your blog answers this for me so well. Thank you. It is the consistency that we so seek and the reminder that there is a great light to shine and it always does – but what covers that is the variable – not the light itself.

    1. Have you often looked out from the ocean shore and basked in the magnificence of the disappearing sun? I am sure many times – it is important for us to reflect on the magnificence of us the same way. So many the world over are in awe of that natural daily occurrence but do not take stock of how powerful, amazing, ‘son’ like they are. Great point sarahflenley that we also hurry through our days and get stopped by the setting sun – forgetting all the other moments of wonder available throughout the whole day.

  413. Wow. Tomorrow does represent another opportunity to shine! That really is such a loving way of looking at each day, not to self critique, but to simply accept and love. Thank you Lee

  414. Wow Lee Green, this is superb to read and feel. The question you ask “What would it be like if we claimed the consistency of us every single day?” brings consistency to a whole new level. It’s not being consistent sometimes and in some areas of life, its about being consistent in the way we are with everyone and everything – full stop, just as the sun rises and sets every day, not some days, every day. We know it, we rely on it and even when we don’t see it, we know it is happening. That’s how we can be. Profound – thank you so much.

    1. Sandra, when I read your comment, it made me think of how it feels to be around someone who is consistent day in and day out. How I can trust them, rely on them and how solid they feel…. and as I write this, I know that I am able to bring this at times, but I don’t live it all the time. Now with more awareness I have the choice to bring that to every area of my life, to everyone and everything… I too can offer that consistency to others, day in and day out just as the sun reflects to us….

      1. I am with you on this Rosie, the never ending refinement of consistency and building that rhythm within me which supports all others around me to feel trust and support.

    2. That consistency is so amazing to connect with Sandra, it constantly needs refining and tweaking bringing us more deeply to know how we are with ourselves and with all others.

  415. There are so many things to see that you bring with this blog Lee. I love how you have highlighted, “For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.” I love the strength of how the word ‘consistent’ plays out in this way. When you look at the sun you can take it for granted, it is that absolute but the sun is never phased by that. Even on the stormiest days the sun is still there seizing any moment to shine, even if we have days of rain the sun never sleeps in because you go above the clouds and it is there. The strength of this reflection has woken me up in a way and it appears there is no end to the depth that you can take this, great blog Lee, one of the best.

    1. I love how you expose that the sun never sleeps in. It really is a great reflection and a sweet little reminder for me to keep on shining no matter what is going on around me.

    2. Totally get this Raymond and I love that you used the word seize, any opportunity to shine as bright as it can. I have been witness to some that shine at every moment, Serge Benhayon, Natalie Benhayon are inspirations in how they completely commit to shining brightly to light the way for all.

      1. Thank you Lee and it’s great to appreciate what we see in others like Serge and Natalie Benhayon but we couldn’t see their ‘shine’ without first being equal to that same shine. In other words appreciate what we see in others but know that first it starts with us for you can’t see in others what you are not first yourself. Love it all Lee, thank you again.

  416. This is a beautiful observation Lee. The consistency of the sunrise and sunset, yet difference of expression is a beautiful metaphor for the difference in expression we see around us and a reminder that we are all the same at our source, all equal, yet our individual expressions vary and can be celebrated.

  417. Thank you Lee. As I was reading I came to a point where I felt joy inside and thoughts of,

‘No more will I allow myself to think bad of myself’

    Then I read this part

‘How very similar is each of our day’s ever-changing living landscape to the weather that blankets our every move.’ In this moment there was the acceptance that no matter what’s going on that joy still remains. The rest of your blog was just a beautiful confirmation of what I’d felt inside.

  418. Such a powerful blog Lee. I have always loved the consistency of nature and its rhythms and cycles, and often wonder, why, we as humanity think that we can better it? – rather, we can learn from it! When people comment on how awful the weather is, I often answer “The sun is still shining on the other side of the clouds”. When you realise that, I have found it has the power to change how you are feeling about the day and yourself. And like the sun: “If we started shining into every dark corner of the world, how powerful would that be?” – powerful beyond words. So our responsibility is to keep shining our own light, always, just like the sun.

    1. Super cool Ingrid – I love that response and it is absolutely true. And our responsibility is that simple allow our light to shine as bright as the sun.

  419. A beautiful blog Lee. We often take the beauty of nature for granted without appreciating its true magnificence. I love the line “..the truth of that connection with our source, with Love, sits glowing within us, like the brightest sun, waiting for the moment of release.”

    1. I agree Peter that we can often dismiss the beauty of nature when we are caught up in our own ‘stuff’ or that of others. It is only when we lift our head and our heart and allow ourselves to be present in our own beauty do we get to see and feel the magic of God all around us confirming the truth of who we are in our magnificence.

    2. I love this line too Peter, I don’t often stop to fully appreciated the beautiful and magnificence in nature. Your comment and this blog is an awesome reminder for me. I am sitting appreciating it now. Thank you.

  420. Hello Lee, thank you for your truly beautiful article, and for reminding me that as the sun rises every day, I too can also rise and shine each and every day.

  421. I enjoyed reading your beautiful blog Lee. I often watch with awe, particularly the sunrise, and I love the light from them. A gift from God to have the consistency and beauty reflected to us, reminding us that we are that too.

  422. Sunsets and Sunrises are my favourite things to watch. I had never considered the consistency of them to have so much power, but as I do I can reflect on the power consistency has in my life in my relationships and in my work. Inspiring me to embrace my magnificence even more. Thank you Lee.

  423. I love your analogy of the source of love always being there, just as the rising and setting sun is. “The changing pace of life, the problems that arise, the relationships that flow or not on any given day, the traffic, our food choices etc.” These elements are like the changing weather that pass in front of the sun – they can make it hard to see it sometimes but the sun is always there.

    1. What I have observed Rosanna is that we often let the weather dictate how we are to be – like wise when stuff comes up to look at or be with – we have a choice let that dictate who we are on that day or return to the very core of our being the love and light and let that be who we are.

      1. Great point Lee and from this I can also see how every single moment in any tiny given situation, we have a choice to shine or to let life dull us. To let life dull us, is giving away our power… rather than us “being the love and light” that we are.

  424. What a great reflection. As the clouds, rain, wind and storms do change how we see the sun, so too are the things that we choose to put into or do with our body changing the way we see ourselves.

    1. Absolutely Lieke we have a deep responsibility to nurture and truly care for our body and our being – to ensure that our light shines as bright as it can.

  425. Thank you – I am often stopped by the magnificence of sunset and sunrise and I have said thank you for every morning and every night without fail it’s there for everyone equally, it is just whether I am available and open to make the time to see it. Just like so many things in life do I make the time to connect and appreciate or not.

    1. Lovely to feel the appreciation you express nicolesjardin. Absolutely spot on that we choose whether to feel it or not, open up and see it or not.

  426. thanks Lee. Everyday, somehow, I am reminded of that consistency that surrounds us. It is a little moment where I register, that the magnificent sun, the Earth, is moving but there is this great quality of stillness. I am reminded to breathe my own breath and surrender to the stillness within. It is a very enjoyable thing! One of my favourite things to happen in a day.

  427. Lee, what you have shared is just beautiful. We are certainly treated to such majesty from heaven every moment of the day and night. It patiently waits for us to realise, to wake up to where we have come from and what we are made of, to one day return again.

    1. That patience in itself is an extraordinary reflection katechorley – years upon years of committing in full no matter what – truly astounding and yet so very much what is needed.

  428. What a beautifully co-creative expression and reading of sunrise and sunset. I too am in awe of this phenomena. Consistency is definitely what it can teach us. I just seem to have a more profound day if l get to experience the burst of sunrise or sunset. It feels so glorious to catch a glimpse of either or both. I loved your reading Lee and share your joy.

  429. A beautiful pause for me today Lee, to read your exquisite expressions.
I feel that light “glowing within me “, there are so many “opportunities to shine”, let the magnificence we are be our consistent gift to humanity.

    1. I agree Adam, and often the ones that are there all the time, are the ones that we forget to stop and take time to appreciate.

    2. I agree Adam, the sun rising and setting each day is such a profound yet simple reflection for us…we rise and we shine all day then there is a time to rest just as does the sun set.

      1. And yet the reality is that the sun never sets – it is always constantly shining. It is only our earth that moves and creates appearance of the the rising and setting of the sun. So we have two reflections here: the everlasting shining of the Sun/Son; and the rhythm of day and night, of action and repose, that we as humans have chosen to be with. It is like a divine dance!

  430. What a lovely reflection to consider on this day, the 1st of the month, that with everyday there is the dawning of yet another opportunity to live from the love we are in full. Just this evening I was enjoying the purple and oranges hues against the cloudy sky as the sun was setting. Beautiful, thank you Lee.

  431. This is beautiful Lee, I love how you have likened the events in our day to a dark storm cloud, but how no matter what, there is still that brilliance and light of the sun, that is our love, always shining so strong and bright just behind it.

  432. This is exquisite writing Lee, of the shining light we all have within, and reading what you’ve written invites the reader to reconnect to the magnificence they are from instantly. Thank you for this very precious reflection.

  433. I love the pictures you paint with words and the meaning in your message Lee, Thank you. The reminder you’ve offered is that the sun and moon are always going about their daily/nightly rhythm, even if they can’t be seen behind the clouds they are still shining away bright as can be. They don’t get glum and gloomy and want to quit because they can’t be seen. We have a lot to learn from observing nature.

    1. Too true Sandra – Nature can teach us so much about ourselves, how we are with each other and interact. Great point about not being seen – we constantly strive for any tiny piece of recognition – to pep us up, give us a boost or just make us feel better. The sun doesn’t ever it just keeps powering up and on even if the story last for days it’s still there – shining.

  434. What a beautiful reflection of how the sun’s light mirrors that of our very own marvellous light within. Constantly glowing and unwavering in its glory that is within us, just like the sun. Awesome Lee.

  435. I love the space to reflect and the stillness of dawn and dusk, Lee, as I love your beautiful description of this glory that occurs for us all each day. Thank you.

    1. Imagine living everyday with that space Coleen – the stillness of dawn and dusk being consistent and our marker throughout the day. That would be truly glorious.

  436. It’s very powerful to observe, that no matter the difference we all feel with other people, the disputes, the disagreements and conflicts we indulge in, we are all from the same source and those differences are not true to what and who we really are, and will one day be left behind as we return to that consistency you speak of Lee that we observe in our world every day.

    1. Once you clock that Stephen G you know that it is just an outplay to stop us deeply connecting to the source that we are from, God and his love for us constantly holding us to see the interference of the stuff we have all chosen is just so minuscule to what we truly are. As we have been inspired by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine let us all keep claiming the fact that we are Sons of God. We can inspire our friends, our neighbours, anyone we cross paths with – that they are so much more and it’s a simple choice to return to that which we come from.

  437. Lee Green you & writing is spectacular.
Reminding all that read your words the magnificence that we all come from – absolute fact.

    1. So true Simone – a powerful reminder of the magnificence we all come from and always are.

  438. A beautiful reflection and observation, this blog is like the Sunrise and Set you elegantly describe. The fact that everyone on this planet bares witness to the same cycle really brings it home that we are all from the same stuff in the end.

    1. We all see the same sun, rise and fall, every day. While we don’t have equality on this earth (yet), it is mirrored for us up there in the heavens as a source of inspiration.

      1. Nice work simonwilliams8 – the Universal equality that holds us all equally is the absolute inspiration we need to reconnect and return.

    2. Exactly Phill – we all are of the same cycles and bear witness to those larger cycles that signify night and day. How many of us take notice of even that simple reflection – truly? And if we re too busy to observe the start and end of the day what is happening in between? Are we observing and taking due care and time with ourselves?

  439. Beautiful and deeply lovely, like the man who wrote it Lee! I stopped yesterday morning in awe as the valley before me was deep in clouds, trees shrouded in the mists, as the sun broke through the horizon and beamed out the most exquisite colours, lighting the sky, the mist, me. Breathtaking. As are we – and we do have the choice every day to live it, to live the love that we are.

    1. Thanks Jo, I read your words and I can almost touch what you are describing you make it that clear. The appreciation and the detail of what you are seeing has a great power as you show here Jo. When you see something that is “beautiful and deeply lovely” why not take the time to not only enjoy it but appreciate it, every part of it. This comment is a great addition to an already superb blog. The depth of our expression is boundless.

      1. Hello Lee Green, yes there is a huge amount of power in appreciation at any point, with anyone or anything. Appreciation is a big key for me.

  440. Wonderful Lee to realise that whether we can see the sun or not (I live in the UK), it is still there shining.

I have never known a day when my solar panels have not generated energy

    1. What a great point kathiefreedom and so obvious – the power is always on providing for us a source of energy – the same for ourselves we just have to connect to it and it flows out in every part of our lives.

  441. This is a beauty Lee, I too am a great observer of the rise and set of the sun which never fails to amaze me, and I love the analogy you have created between the sun and ourselves.

  442. Wow – ‘is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’ That is BEAUTIFUL.

    1. It is isn’t it Megvalentine36, truly beautiful and something I feel is worth considering at the end of my day, to appreciate how I’ve shone through the day, and if there have been any clouds or even storms, to just honestly look at what happened as part of my evening rhythm, knowing that I get an opportunity the next day to go out and shine again with the insights from the previous day – will I choose the same again that caused the clouds and storm or not?

      1. Exactly Sandra allowing ourselves to feel every part of how our bodies have been through the day, continually supporting us for the next and the next.

      2. I find reflecting on the day hugely helpful too, though after reading your comment I’m wondering if there are some extra questions I could ask! I also like how you are approaching each day as a fresh day, and not allowing the day before to taint it in any way.

  443. This blog has reminded me of when I was reading a rather spiritual book, of all the information that it held, the part of the book that resonated with me was a few paragraphs about the rising of the sun. I don’t remember the info, but I do remember how I felt drawn to the newness that each day offers. Thank you Lee for offering to me the moment to stop and to ponder deeper on the newness that each day offers to me. The marvelous opportunity that I have each day to choose to let my love fill my body and let is shine as bright as the sun.

  444. As I read the blog, I realised that even when the back drop to our life is so called bad, like with the sunset, it can still be appreciated, it’s just different, and can still be amazing. In fact when things are going a little crazy with the weather, or in our lives, the effect can be quite stunning, so if we have a rough day, at the end when it sets, is there still a beauty to appreciate in what we have learnt or become aware of?

    1. Great work Laura everything has a beauty to it and as you so clearly say our unfolding, letting go of patterns and momentums keeping us small and not grand all, play a part – we have to appreciate how amazing we are in every moment.

  445. That is so gorgeous Lee – a wonderful way to start the day with reading your blog. As you say the sun is always there and whether we choose clouds to alter the effect is entirely up to us in how we live each moment and paint the picture we see at sunset. I know I will return to re-read your lovely blog.

    1. Thank you Susan, our choices are in effect the cloud scares we make or not. No judgement just a fact that we can all start to take more responsibility about the ‘weather’ we create in our lives.

  446. Thank you Lee for reminding me, that I am constantly inspired by the sun. It’s fire, magnificence and consistency to shine for us all.

  447. A great blog to focus us on the consistency of the start and the end of the day, and not the cloudy bits in the middle. It’s a beautiful reflection of the magnificence we are all from, and how we can return simply to this.

    1. Those cloudy bits Gill are equally important – for behind them the sun shines consistently – it never stops shining every moment.

  448. This is so beautiful Lee, I have recently had some business cards designed and on them is a sunrise (or set😉)…they will now have this added meaning of consistency for me! Thank You!

  449. I enjoyed reading this blog Lee and just as the sun is coming up over the roof tops of one of the houses in my street. It feels like there is a moment of stillness to be appreciated and a reminder to shine everyday.

    1. Perfect Julie it’s like we can’t but recognise that there is stillness in every day in every moment and the sunrise and sunset is one giant reminder.

  450. Lee, thank you for this exquisite piece of truth-filled writing. I love the point you are making that the moments of sunrise and sunset are precious indeed, points of reflection for us to contemplate how we are living and whether our days are consistently love-filled or not. I love these times of day myself but shall use the wisdom of your words to deepen my contemplation.

    1. Absolutely precious as is the leaf fluttering on a tree, a feather on the ground a knowing smile from a stranger – all these reflections and more are equal to the sunset and sunrise and support us to deeply contemplate all that life is.

      1. Some more truths expressed beautifully, thank you Lee. These precious moments as you say provide a crack in our busy momentums through which we can see God.

  451. I had have an online meeting yesterday evening with people living in Australia while I live in Germany – the other side of this planet. And while I was a bit tired because ‘my’ day neared the end and the others where a bit tired because they just woke up – we had sunset and sunrise together at this meeting so to say- I realized how this “day and night concept” has to do with living on a planet who is turning around a sun. The planet and its properties are giving us a rhythm, as death and birth does as well. Each day can be seen as a lifetime – sunrise with being born and sunset with dying. And I found that it is very helpful to embrace these rhythms we are given (even though they are not belonging to our true being which is not living on earth and so is not suspended to earthly rhythms) because is accepting were I am now for a purpose, accepting that I am divine but not living it now, accepting that I did make the choice to live separated from my truth and now have to learn to go back. The rhythms of this planet and humans are prepared to support me on my way back home and I am so thankful for that. So with every sunrise I adore, I get a reflection of my choices, get a ‘new start’ based on the last day’s choices (any hangover?) and every evening I can ask myself: did I shine this day in all my glory? did I evolve this day? and how? And I can appreciate me on my way back home, celebrate that I am claiming back BEING the sun.

    1. Truly awesome Sandra, the many opportunities we get presented with – take stock, and reflect, are seemingly endless. Much of the problems in the world surely arise because we don’t give ourselves that time, that space, that asks us to check in, reflect and make a different choice.

  452. Thankyou Lee, I enjoy reading about the different ways that nature can show us about life and it is sometimes very helpful to have someone like yourself who can see the messages that nature gives and who is able to share these with us all.

    1. Shami it is amazing how each one of us is able to bring a message from God and how all of these messages make up the whole. We have to trust – we know it all and keep bringing that to life.

  453. So beautiful to read your article and feel the harmony and truth we all come from. The fascination is in me too to witness the glorious colours, light and cloud formations and I love the magnificence and magic God presents each day from sunrise to sunset.

  454. Lee, how inspiring to use it as an analogy of our own start to the day and end of our day, observing how our day has been for us, and to acknowledge that we are part of something much bigger.

    1. The pause moments – the sunrise and sunset give us an opportunity to realise how grand we are – how significant we are.

  455. So beautiful Lee, what a powerful and brilliant metaphor – I just love the simplicity of this great reflection you’ve offered us – thank you.

  456. I love this blog Lee. An inspiring reflection on consistency in our everyday, just like the sun rising and setting every single day, whether it is hidden by clouds or not, so too can we consistently choose to shine in our way.

  457. Thank you Lee – you offer a sense of absolute knowing and consistency that I love here – the analogy of the beauty in the sunrise and sunset is beautiful, and that a magnificent sunset within ourselves.

  458. What a great metaphor of our daily life. I have my share of photographs of sunrises and settings. Time and tide is just a rhythm to be fought or live in the flow of it around us. I prefer the later.

    1. As the earth spins we capture at different moments the light or dark across the planet – this cycle is purpose made as are we – such grand rhythms are often so obvious we switch off to the magnificence they represent. And yet when we open ourselves fully to the opportunity that these rhythms represent – magic truly happens and the Might of the All is there for us all. The Way of the Livingness.

  459. I love this blog Lee, it touched me deeply – like you I keep photographing the sky because I wonder at the ever-changing beauty, but your words have taken me to a new level of awareness, of how hiding our full expression is like clouds over the sun. I love it when we have clear, blue skies, and I can feel the full warmth of the sun on my face, same as I love being around people who are not holding back – it is a beautiful reflection for me to ponder on, thank you.

  460. I really appreciate this line as it is so true, “the traffic, our food choices etc., can all end up at the end of the day being so heavy, like a dark storm.” something I will joyfully remember when driving home from work … not liking the traffic and letting it get to me is simply a choice.

  461. I can feel the grace and space God allows us each day, my appreciation and love of the reflection of sunsets and sunrises will be taken to a whole new deeper level.

  462. “But the fact remains: the rise and set of the sun is consistent each and every day.” I love this line as does my body, just goes to show how much I and my body love consistency. With consistency comes trust.

  463. What a beautiful symbolism, Lee. I was able to feel how I do often not receive or take in deeply any confirmations or appreciations which I receive from others or others reflect to me. Thank you for the reminder to be more open for these moments of sunrise and the consistency of this in order to keep shining.

  464. A beautiful article Lee. As I sit here in the pre-dawn dark of the day I know the sun is shining on the Earth for others to feel the warmth and it will soon be with us here too, The same depth of love that shines on all corners of the Earth as we cycle around the sun’s light and we are invited to reflect that light and love back to all we meet. Even if some clouds obscure our view, the light is still shining.

    1. Mary this is beautiful and how amazing it is to feel that others get the warmth of the sun as we fade out of night – this shows us that consistently and spherically all works to support the all.

  465. “For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.” I find what you have shared here Lee is a great point to reflect on. The light that shines brightly within us all is always there, how we relate to it will depend on how we navigate through our day, on the choices that we make and our relationship with ourselves and with others. Yes, it is true the sun will always set and always rise. So too is the light that shines within, it is always there when we go to bed and it is there when we wake. Do we choose to connect with and see it or are our clouds getting in the way?

    1. Agree Donna we are forever shining – the batteries never run out on the Love that we are and can express, yet we choose to dull or fade our light by taking on the clouds of others or simply saying no to the sunshine and putting up the blinds. Too many are stuck in the ‘rain’ yet how simple it is to step into our ‘light’.

  466. How lovely to hear another person express their deep appreciation of sunrise and sunset. It is magical and each time I stop to see one I know God, I know divinity and that there is a magnificent order to life. I loved your words ‘Love, is an absolute truth for me’. Feeling how true this is in you, reignited this in myself.

  467. Another gem from you Lee. I love the way you write, so much wisdom. Thank you.

  468. Lee, what a great reflection for us to consider. It is true that we often focus on the storms in life rather than the opportunities we have to shine each day like the magnificent sun. Imagine if we expressed our love fully -the impact of us shining each day would be amazing and such a foundation for brotherhood on earth.

  469. I adore the sunrise and the sunset too Lee, there is nothing more beautiful than watching the colour of the sky and the formation of the clouds change as the sun rises or sets. Like you say, it is always there, reminding us of the cycles of life and how every day is an opportunity to shine. We live on a truly beautiful planet, the intricacies of which are staggering. We sometimes get so bogged down by the mundaneness and busy-ness of life that we miss the wonderful reflection that nature gives us. I often look up at the stars on a clear night and wonder just how far does the Universe stretch…… it makes me feel very humble.

    1. Beautiful Sarah. It is often very humbling to witness such magnificence, and what is most powerful is that when we stop – truly stop we can feel that we are from the Grandness that we witness.

  470. Dear Lee,
I so love the deep beauty that has come with the symbolism and truth of your blog. I especially love your words: ‘Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?’ Sunrise and sunset have always been a time of remembering stillness for me – a time that invites reflection on life, so what you have offered here Lee makes so much sense. Thank you for the colour, beauty and truth of your writing!

    1. Dear Lyndy, I love how you write that these times of day, sunset and sunrise are an offering of stillness – so true and so amazing to connect with. We have everything we need to connect back to the grandness we are from – it is simply a choice.

  471. How beautiful, Lee. Indeed, how powerful would it be if we started to light up every corner of our planet by claiming our consistency; just like the sun, rising and setting in a solid and consistent rhythm that we all can rely on. And as you said, we can see the absolute beauty that’s reflected to us by each sunrise and each sunset, or we can choose to ignore it. It’s all there for us to see if we wish to or not.

  472. Lee, this blog is as gorgeous as this morning’s sunrise was, and as beautiful as this evening’s sunset will be, and as lovely as you. I love the way you have expressed what we all know and see and feel, but don’t always stop to appreciate. Thank you for taking the time to express your deep appreciation of the living truth of the sun, of God, and of us all.

  473. We are like the sun Lee Green and, we rise and set every day, providing us with a new opportunity to shine and to share this with the world, independent of the weather outside of us.

    1. beautifully written nvanhaastrecht, ‘We are like the sun Lee Green and, we rise and set every day, providing us with a new opportunity to shine and to share this with the world, independent of the weather outside of us.’ This is great to remember, that we can shine brightly every day and that this our natural way.

  474. Lee- I have always been fascinated and in awe of the beauty seen in a sunset and sunrise. I never really gave it much thought about us being a reflection of this! How inspiring is nature’s reminder that we too can shine in all our glory each day.

    1. LorettarapL isn’t it interesting that we stop and pause to view the magnificence of the sunset and sunrise – how many of us pause during the day and feel the Grandness of ourselves?

  475. Lee this is a truly beautiful reflection of our inner light and the light of the sun. Thank you for sharing it.

    1. Seeing ourselves as an endless shining light is allowing ourselves to feel how magnificent and powerful we are. WE are shining 24/7 never off always on just like the sun.

  476. Hello Lee, thank you, I love this as it is a symbol (the sun, the weather, etc) I use too to reflect the magnificence of the universe/God as it is provided for us every day. The sun is always shining as a reflection of the opportunity we each have to shine too, as you say.

  477. Lee I love this beautiful blog. I also am fascinated by sunrises and sunsets. Where I live I look out to the east, with beautiful views, and find myself so often taking photographs of the amazing sunsets I have been seeing over the past few years. I can certainly feel the Magic of God at these moments.

I love how you have related the sunrises and sunsets to the “amazing reflection of each and every human life living on planet earth”. As you say, this allows us to use this space to realise and appreciate that we all ourselves have that ‘sun’ within us, LOVE, that we only have to release it and then shine it out to the world.

“Is it possible that we can forget to stop and observe the sunset within ourselves and know the magnificence we are from?” Unfortunately most of us have forgotten this, and it is up to those who are beginning to remember, to shine this out to humanity, to reflect to all of humanity what is truly within themselves.

    1. I face west, some days the sunsets are a glorious riot of colour, others shrouded in cloud. But I know that the glory is there, hidden behind the clouds. Thank you Lee, for reminding me that my own glory is always there shining brightly for all to see. It is only myself who puts clouds in the way.

    2. Everything in nature offers a reflection for us – if only we take the time to stop and observe the reflection that is offered.

      1. Agree Lee – absolutely everything is here to reflect a different way or confirm how we are living. What an amazing opportunity we have on this planet to open up and truly see what life is about.

    3. So well said Beverley, every human being is the same. We have been inspired by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine to wake up and turn on the power and start to walk this sunshine across the earth. Forever now learning and putting into action how to bring more loving consistency to our days.

    4. Beverley yes many of us have forgotten the truth – of where we are from and what we are, yet it remains now for those that have awoken to such power to hold the torch aloft so that others can see, not only the Way, but know instantly that the Way is lit within them too.

      1. That’s so beautifully said Beverley and Lee…a much needed reminder today for me shine even brighter around those that are yet to awaken themselves.

    1. Absoulutely Luke, we can be weather makers of great skill, creating storms all over the place – forgetting that we are shining bright regardless of all we choose.

  478. ‘That tomorrow represents another opportunity to shine?’
Loved this line Lee and was a great reminder that no matter what we experience today, tomorrow is a new day. That in each moment we have a choice to create a dark storm or a sunny day. And who we are and where we are from is truly magnificent indeed.

  479. What can I say? This is so true, the sun is always consistent, the sunrise and the sunset an opportunity to stop and reflect on our own magnificence. Your last three lines are a great call to everyone of us to bring that out in full. How would the world look then?

  480. HI Lee, I love this part. “For the sun, expressing so brightly, never alters; yet the day’s clouds, winds or rain do change the way the sun is seen.” ..it is so true to say that the sun never falters of alters but the way we see it changes…profound.

    1. Yes I completely agree, I also have recognised that the sun never alters, and that the issues, dilemma’s or dramas that put clouds of darkness over the sun can just as easily dissipate, once again allowing the sun to be seen, and expressed for all to see.

      1. Well said Arianne, we are very clever at pushing up the clouds and creating a storm which affects how we see ourselves and we have to sometimes work very hard to bring back the sun. It is simple really – we are naturally that magnificence and so why not just stay with that observing life from the brightest part of us.

    2. I agree Joel with the profound statement about our sun and how it never falters or alters, BUT it is the way we see it that changes. It reminds me of our life and how we choose to see things and that then has an affect on how we live.
The sun is a constant reminder every single day of the grandness that we are ALL a part of, and you only have to be looking at the sunrise to feel that enormous expansion of what we belong to.

    3. And I love the part “But the fact remains: rise and set of the sun is consistent each and every day”, it really brought me to a stop to consider how true this is and how I had not see this in this way before. A very inspiring article Lee.

    4. Yes Joel, that’s what stood out for me as well, beautiful analogy for how our expresion is altered by what we choose.

    5. Hello Lee and Joel, yes I agree I enjoyed this part as well. It’s funny the sun never sits back and demands for someone to notice it or anything similar either. The sun just does it’s thing day in day out and never looks for something from the world before it brings it’s light, as you say Lee consistently. I love the analogies that this blog brings forth to us all, I will see the dawn of today differently Lee, thank you.

      1. Beautifully said Ray, there is no arrogance in the sun being the sun, it just is shining ever brightly. Reading these comments we can all see and feel the same amazingness we each are and how magnificent that we can easily push away the clouds and just shine.

    6. It is exactly that Joel a choice for us to see the sun or not, that is feel the magnificence of us, the mightiness we are from and live that.

    7. If we each see ourselves as suns, and consistently shine, whether people see us and appreciate us or not, then we will build trust and warmth all over the world.
