Universal Medicine – Once Again People’s Choice at the Lismore Business Excellence Awards

Once again, just like last year, I was delighted to hear that Universal Medicine has won the People’s Choice at the Lismore Business Excellence Awards. I have never come across a business quite like Universal Medicine, it is one of a kind; and at the same time I can see how this organisation is inspiring the same levels of integrity, care and professionalism in many more businesses near and far.

I’ve been attending the Universal Medicine Clinic for private sessions since 2010. In addition to that, I’ve attended numerous courses, presentations and workshops held by Serge Benhayon, the founder of Universal Medicine. The first ever course I attended was a Sacred Esoteric Healing Level 1 course back in August 2010. At the time I had little confidence in myself, was very withdrawn and riding on a constant tension and anxiety every day. I was also afraid of being on my own. I was in a relationship that was dragging its heels but terrified of letting it go and being a woman on my own – how could I survive in what I perceived to be a dog-eat-dog world?

I didn’t go to the Level 1 workshop to have all these issues specifically addressed, but this is what my life was like at the time. The workshop was beautiful, but what was even more beautiful and amazing was how I felt afterwards.

I remember waking up the day after the workshop much earlier than usual and feeling a lightness in my body and a tenderness I had never felt before as an adult. I felt the openness of a baby waking up to the new day. The day after it was the same, and the day after that as well. This was markedly different to how I would normally wake up, feeling groggy, tired and reaching out for a cup of coffee. This tender feeling in the morning was a marker for a new beginning of how I would live my life from that point on.

I knew this feeling to be true and I wanted this to be a constant in my day, not just something passing that I may only have here and there. And so my entire life, with the amazing support of Universal Medicine took a complete turnaround.

From being anxious and withdrawn, I came out of my shell and started participating and connecting with a world I no longer felt daunted by. The teachings of Universal Medicine inspired me to take tender and precious care of myself and to nurture myself deeply. To take time for myself, no longer cutting corners with an attitude of “this will do”. In turn this attentiveness and care became a quality I would bring to all other relationships as well. It became my way of being. From feeling afraid to be on my own, I began to build a confidence in myself as a woman that I had never felt before – a confidence that doesn’t come from what or how much I can do, but from the inner knowing of who I truly am.

The more I reacquainted myself with the real me once again, the more I came to realise that the tender, sweet quality I felt that first morning after my first ever Universal Medicine workshop, was in fact – me feeling the real quality of ‘me’.

This has been my experience of Universal Medicine since 2010 — and in effect of myself. Every transaction, dealing and interaction I have had, be it with a Universal Medicine practitioner, office staff member at the clinic, or with Serge Benhayon himself, has been characterised consistently by a level of care and integrity that is second to none.

Universal Medicine is a business that is about people through and through, about meeting people for who they truly are. And people are then inspired to meet themselves with this same level of love and care as well. The return on my investment as a client of Universal Medicine is beyond measure.

  1. Katerina, from what you write attending the Universal Medicine event gave you a different marker of what we can expect our health to be. Before attending Universal Medicine I knew there was a more vital way to live but had only experienced fleeting moments of such quality and could never hang on to them. Since attending Universal Medicine courses and applying principles that made sense to me I have been able to experience a much more consistent level of energy and engagement in everyday life. This is something that is incredible to feel and would make me feel that such an award is more than deserving, after all life is about people and this business put this at the heart of their work.

  2. ‘ … The more I reacquainted myself with the real me once again, the more I came to realise that the tender, sweet quality I felt that first morning after my first ever Universal Medicine workshop, was in fact – me feeling the real quality of ‘me’.’

Katerina this is so spot on. We never get to hear that the real us has a particular quality – a particular feeling and this is what’s so beautiful about Universal Medicine is that through the healing courses and esoteric healing modalities we get to re-connect to a real feeling of coming home to ourselves.

  3. “Every transaction, dealing and interaction I have had, be it with a Universal Medicine practitioner, office staff member at the clinic, or with Serge Benhayon himself, has been characterised consistently by a level of care and integrity that is second to none” I can testify that this has also been my experience for the past 9+ years. I came with a huge baggage of misgivings and mistrust about humanity and most if not all of this has been healed as a result of simply witnessing this consistency Universal Medicine holds out in the world. And my relationship with many qualities that I hold dear such as love, integrity, truth and responsibility has also radically deepened as a result of the unwavering example Universal Medicine provides.

    1. I agree Golnaz, Universal Medicine has so consistently displayed a level of care, of integrity and of service, that i have never before experienced anywhere. I too had a high degree of mis-trust of all healing modalities, including conventional doctors, but thanks to Universal Medicine I can now understand what is true service and true healing, and with that my trust in western medicine and doctors has also been restored, along with the acceptance of full responsibility on my part for the healing process.

  4. Katerina, this is a lovely account thank you. You have reminded me of how I felt during after my first Universal Medicine workshop 10 years ago, a 1 day introductory day called Heart Chakra 1 in those days. We got to express to a partner about ourselves and why we were there if I recall, 3 times over, and each time I just went deeper and deeper into the truth of my essence, in a way I had never done before. My partner said she couldn’t speak because she was so flawed by what I said so lovingly about myself! That, had definitely not been ‘me’ before that. That lady is every bit as expressive and committed today as I am, and it has been a joy to see many others unfolding back to themselves as well. As I write this I recognise how awesome that exercise still is today – to truly express what I bring to the world, in truth. I have enjoyed a totally consistent decade of delicious inspiration and excellent service from everyone at Universal Medicine, this award is so very very deserved, well done. An inspiration to the world.

    1. I too recall Shirley-Ann a little into my first workshop many years ago I thought wow this is really different to the zillions of other workshops I have attended before. I was fascinated with what Serge Benhayon was saying and I loved the exercises that allowed to explore what he was saying for myself and get my own understanding. So many things about life started falling in place and making sense right from day one. And this inspiration and support to deepen my understanding, wisdom, connection and my loving engagement with life has been there consistently for me and for everyone since that day 9 years ago. You cannot put a value to what is being offered here.

      1. I found the first day at a Universal Medicine workshop began the understanding of a lifetime of questions and angst about the world. and knowing that I too hold the answers within not only made perfect sense but is proving itself true in every way the deeper I go.

    2. What I love about the Universal Medicine courses Shirley-Ann is that it doesn’t matter how many times you repeat them, each time there is even more there for you to know, understand and feel about your own life. Each exercise brings a living way within it. It’s like a new beginning each time.

  5. Thank you Katerina for confirming that Universal Medicine hold the utmost integrity with their consistency in every single transaction, dealing and interaction I have had over the past 10 years. Universal Medicine put people before profits and this is what has made them a true success in business. They are transparent and have nothing to hide. They hold everyone as equals and this is felt instantly by anyone who chooses to use their services. They are deserving of even more awards as they are a template for what a true business can be in our world today.

    1. True Bina, all that you say about Universal Medicine. They are indeed, “deserving of even more awards” and these they get every day – each time someone comes to the clinic and leaves feeling more of their ‘true self’ i.e. their soulful connection, than this is all the reward that matters to Universal Medicine.

    2. So true Bina, Universal Medicine, Serge Benhayon and all the practitioners do hold all as absolute equals, unwaveringly so, and support all equally – and this is a measure of the true integrity they live by – Their service comes from love, not from a drive for recognition nor money, and for this the award is wholeheartedly supported by so many.

  6. Another gorgeous testimony for Universal Medicine – thank you Katerina. I absolutely love the exquisiteness in which you have described the feeling you had when you woke up to a new day after your first Universal Medicine Healing Level 1.

  7. It’s always great when awards go to deserving recipients, recognising the qualities that are there, while an award is not necessary it can offer a confirmation that someone is doing something worthwhile and in the case of Universal Medicine this is all apparent by the way the business has grown, how it treats people so respectfully and how well received it has been by a very diverse and widely spread clientele.

  8. This is a beautiful testament to Universal Medicine and yourself and your own experience Katerina, thank you for sharing this. It really has inspired me to appreciate more how I get up in the morning, now bright clear and with loving gentleness and a sense of being and presence inside that feels beautiful, and is with me through the day to come back to and feel me. This is something that was not so clear before, and certainly not my connection to my essence and inner stillness and this is to be valued for the amazingness it is all thanks to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine . The joy and connection to ourselves through love and self care is a gift to us all, to humanity from Serge Benhayon, his family and Universal Medicine who are inspiring and make life about people first in every way with a loving consistency.

    1. I agree Tricia, especially the consistency is which amazes me. I have moments and phases where I feel gorgeous and amazing, but there are also other moments. Serge Benhayon however shows consistency in his love and care for people, and there I don’ t talk of this shallow politeness often interpretated as love, no, he is showing a consistency and commitment to be loving in any moment of his life. This is not graspable for my narrow mind but it is so supportive to have this energetic quality around. Thank you deeply Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.

  9. Wow there is gold in this for me Katerina, thank you – “The teachings of Universal Medicine inspired me to take tender and precious care of myself and to nurture myself deeply. To take time for myself, no longer cutting corners with an attitude of “this will do”. In turn this attentiveness and care became a quality I would bring to all other relationships as well.” Particularly this part about other relationships. So often we can make it about ourselves and forget that the way we are with ourselves is how we are with all others. There is definitely some areas for me to work on in relationship with others which tells me there is still more love and care for me to bring to the relationship I have with myself as well.

    1. And it continues to unfold Elizabeth doesn’t it…. I’m constantly seeing and realising that there is more to open up to, more depth, openness and depth in relationships and more of the real me to express in the world in full. It is never about being perfect or reaching an end goal, and Universal Medicine has been an incredible support and inspiration to let go of the needing to be at a certain place, get to being perfect, bashing myself for not being perfect etc. It’s about simply being me, humble, open and real, and when we give ourselves permission to simply be this it is so, so beautiful.

  10. Katerina it is a joy to read another account of the appreciation for Universal Medicine, as a company that has deeply supported so many people to re-connect to that feeling you describe as a baby waking up for a new day. The feeling of coming home and feeling what “me” really feels like.

  11. This blog site and all the testimonies that anyone will find in here written by people exercising free will and thankful in their hearts to Serge Benhayon for the systematic turnaround to the better each one has experienced thanks to their association with Universal Medicine as customers of its services is a true testimony of its value. We are all very busy people. Why would someone invest time and effort to write these blogs? Why would people take the time to vote for the best business company located in a remote location of the world? The answer is very simple, because of the truth we know Universal Medicine brought to our lives.

  12. Businesses that truly make it about people are in my experience rare. I have witnessed that even businesses that involve providing a service to people are often driven by making money or gaining recognition, rather than in actually supporting people.

    1. This is one business Brendan that makes it about people and about love in every way shape and form. and this means it is a business based on truth, and from this one business, many businesses are being inspired to make this their foundation also.

  13. I love what you share here Katerina concerning the amazing change your 1st workshop brought bout some years ago, till now. The whole of the Universal Medicine team are truly deserving of this Peoples Choice Award. I too have only ever been greeted with warm loving support in my dealings with Universal Medicine Practitioners and staff as well.

  14. Universal Medicine is made by the people who work in the business and by all those who are inspired by the way these people live and work to do the same. It is a business model of love that is expanding around the Earth.

  15. It is so true Katerina that: “Universal Medicine is a business that is about people through and through, about meeting people for who they truly are.” This was also my own experiences and I have to admit that this way of being with people is now to the best of my ability – my own way as well. It was so inspiring for me to feel this depth of commitment and integrity it was like a reminder for me and I could not hold back to introduce it in to my own life.

  16. Katerina, experiencing the tender sweet quality that was in fact you following a Universal Medicine workshop is an experience that is echoed far an wide by participants all around the world. We are truly blessed to be in the Northern Rivers and have such direct access to Universal Medicine right here in our backyards.

  17. I would have never thought that one day I would have dealt with the issues I thought would take a lifetime to deal with. Now I can enjoy life and go on working on the details. Thanks to Universal Medicine.

    1. i have found that too Felix… all those seemingly insurmountable issues that we thought could never be healed, I have found they are now actually healed, non-existant or firmly relegated to the sidelines and understanding that they are not truly issues, only I have made them so – and so they are steadily discarded in the process of learning instead to live more engaged with life and with people than ever, living ever more truly who I am.

  18. “Universal Medicine is a business that is about people through and through, about meeting people for who they truly are.” Katherine your sentence says it all for me.

  19. While we are always the ones responsible for our woes and for healing ourselves, there is no doubt that Universal Medicine can present a way of understanding life that makes this possible. Rather than concocting solutions, band-aid fixes or management strategies, UM presents the possibility that we hold the answer in our own dilemmas and issues and how we could connect to that knowing, bringing a whole new perspective to life, one that we realise we have actually known deep within all along.

  20. Such a great point you make with this line Katerina and one that I absolutely agree with as well ‘ The return on my investment as a client of Universal Medicine is beyond measure.’

  21. I just re-read this article that I once wrote in the enormous appreciation I have for Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine and then I looked up out of my bedroom window to see the moon shining brightly through the clouds. The moon reflecting back at me the truth I know in absoluteness, the truth of who I am, who we all are and that we are here to make life about love in all aspects of life, no stone left unturned. And there’s the moon, almost full, glimpsing again — this is our way, the way, inspired by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.

  22. Beautifully put Katerina and I absolutely second that…. the return on my investment as a client of Universal Medicine is invaluable, I feel deeply blessed to have had the pleasure of witnessing first hand why they have been recognised and awarded as they have.

  23. Thank you Katrina for a beautiful sharing of your experience with Universal Medicine, what you have shared and the way you have been inspired to live your life has been felt by so many people who have been blessed by the loving care and absolute integrity of this company; “This tender feeling in the morning was a marker for a new beginning of how I would live my life from that point on.”

  24. “Every transaction, dealing and interaction I have had, be it with a Universal Medicine practitioner, office staff member at the clinic, or with Serge Benhayon himself, has been characterised consistently by a level of care and integrity that is second to none” I absolutely agree, there are no undercurrents, no emotional highs and lows, there is a consistent quality and care because they take responsibility to another level, and customers deeply feel that commitment.

  25. So awesome to read the many testimonials of not only Universal Medicine as a clinic, but also as an organisation. My experience is also that it is a business completely founded on love and integrity, something rarely felt in society today.

  26. ‘The return on my investment as a client of Universal Medicine is beyond measure.’ Hear hear Katerina this beautifully encapsulates the experience of so many people in their dealings with Universal Medicine and demonstrates why this award is so well deserved.

  27. Katerina your deep appreciation of Universal Medicine and their impeccable integrity and care of people is beautiful to read and echoes thousands of client’s experiences over the many years. No wonder they have won the people’s choice award for 2 years now as their whole business is about putting people first.

  28. Universal Medicine is a pioneering business model for true success in business. Because true all-encompassing success can only come when everyone involved in that business, including clients, employees, third parties etc benefit. In short there is not an ounce of exploitation, and of cutting corners of any kind. This is because the underlying motivation and raison d’etre for being is about people first – it always has been for Universal Medicine. This is where businesses get it so very wrong – people are not perceived as integral to the business’s well-being even though they are an inegral part.
The simplicity that underpins the model of business that is Universal Medicine will be studied and studied for many years to come.
