Appreciation, Appreciation, Appreciation…..

Appreciation: I can feel the power this word emanates… and I can feel appreciation oozing from my body because there is so much to appreciate.

I can deeply appreciate that my inner knowing was aware all along, as we all are, how the ‘return path’ to my soul was going to unfold…

I also deeply appreciate how amazingly simple my life has become, and in that I have learned that through simplicity, my Soul communicates.

I genuinely appreciate I could not write or claim this 4 years ago.

I totally appreciate the understanding I have of myself, my life and my choices – with no judgement, criticism or self-bashing, but rather from a place that I have evolved to (self-love) through the lifestyle changes I have made.

This understanding unfolded from a very basic, yet very important teaching that found its way to my path of seeking and searching… something I had always known, but had lost in the same way you lose a treasured book and find it again. This understanding, this Ageless Wisdom, found me through the presentations of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, which changed everything in my life.

I got to relearn and understand that there are two types of energy that we can align to – prana or fire – in other words, spirit or Soul. Once you have aligned to whichever one, all your choices thereafter come as a result of aligning to that quality of energy. I created my life from the energy I aligned to. In other words, this was the energy I allowed to run my body.

I have come to accept that once I aligned to spirit, the course and direction of my life was already set – a life of separation from my body and from my Soul – which kept me totally irresponsible, unawake and completely unaware… in one word: anti-evolving.

Yes, I deeply appreciate this teaching that has transformed my life.

Jacqueline McFadden
Jacqueline McFadden – “I deeply appreciate this teaching that has transformed my life.”

I can appreciate the fact that, for as long as I can remember, I have been looking for this wisdom, knowing deep within me there was another way to live, another way to be that would initiate my path of return.

I surrendered to the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom on first meeting and from that moment I have been clearing, dusting, removing and getting rid of all my old behaviours and patterns that belonged to the way of aligning to spirit – especially the dishonesty, the self-rejection, the lack of nourishment, and the deep, debilitating anxiety I carried that goes hand in hand with the alignment to this energy.

Yes, I can fully appreciate my commitment to healing my old ways, and then feeling how much I resisted delaying the truth: I rejected my body, I rejected being a Son of God….

I can feel how much my body appreciates and adores my absolute honesty.

And how from this honesty blossomed ‘nurturing and true nourishment.’ The more I nourished from honesty (instead of contraction), the more certain foods dropped away, and my body shape changed to express more of my true beauty and my true essence.

This loving nourishment flows into to all areas of my life. Thus I have observed and acknowledged how much support there is for me (and for us all), but the difference is I now allow the support in, knowing I am responsible, worthy and deserving to receive it.

I have observed and deeply appreciate the importance and attention I now place on family and relationships and how the notion of family has expanded to include those that are not blood family… eg, friends and colleagues who I work with every day are part of my extended family, which provides so much reflection and so much support.

Yes, I can deeply appreciate how far I have come, and where I am going, and say YES to all that my Soul lays before me.

I appreciate that my reflection of my livingness offers and invites a truer way to live.

I can feel appreciation oozing from my body – in committing to life, committing to service, committing to the ‘return path of my Soul’ and committing to representing Heaven here on earth: as the angel I was born emerges, there is so much to appreciate.

With the new found awareness of my true essence, I can deeply appreciate the hand that connects us all, the hand that created us in the image of God, the hand that created us all equal in love and that the hand that is offered to me by you, my friend, or by a stranger, is also the hand of God…

With gratitude and deep appreciation to Serge Benhayon for making available and presenting the Ageless Wisdom through The Way of The Livingness.

  1. Much to appreciate indeed, and this is in fact part of our essence, which also had been forgotten all about. The fact that we can appreciate, is also resulting from choosing the energy that aligns us to our soul.

    1. Beautifully expressed Willem, this explains why we sometimes find it difficult to appreciate ourselves and others because the energy we align to does not allow us to truly appreciate, which then leaves us feeling stuck and empty. But when we align to the energy of our Soul, appreciation is as natural as breathing.

    1. Yes Kim, we cannot be ready for more if we loathe where we are. Appreciating where we are, warts and all with honesty, is a great foundation for more.

  2. Jacqueline I love what you say about family being now more for you than simply being bold related. Appreciation very much supports us in all relationships and help us realise that they all matter.

  3. Thank you Jacqueline, I really enjoyed your blog, there is indeed so very much to appreciate. I found your words about honesty really supportive “The more I nourished from honesty (instead of contraction), the more certain foods dropped away, and my body shape changed to express more of my true beauty and my true essence.” I enjoy being honest but I hadn’t quite looked at it as a way to nurture myself so that more of my true beauty and essence can be expressed – yet that is exactly what honesty can do! Thank you Jacqueline, you are a gem!

  4. I love the way that you do appreciation Jacqueline, it is very inspiring and offers the world a fresh reflection to show that there is another way than all the angst tension and stress that we are all for the most part choosing.

  5. I have come to understand that appreciation is a way of being and not just something we do when we feel impulsed. I used to live a life of self-deprecation, putting myself down at every turn, believing that being meek and falsely humble was God’s will. Today, I find that His Will is that I know the amazing being that I am, and the amazing beings we all are equally so, and live in the appreciation of this fact.

    1. You have summed up the difference Richard of thinking we know God (being falsely humble, meek and self depreciating) and actually living God which is the knowing of who we are and what we come from and how amazing that is.

      1. Yes, spot on Melinda. What we think and who we are, are very different things.

  6. I love how through appreciation we are able to deepen our understanding of ourselves and our relationship with our body, which naturally impulses us to embrace a deeper level of love that is forever unfolding the more we appreciate and value ourselves.

  7. Very beautiful to read your words of your outstretched hand. The beholding of love is constant and consistent.

  8. “The more I nourished from honesty (instead of contraction), the more certain foods dropped away, and my body shape changed to express more of my true beauty and my true essence.” Jacqueline, I love this sentence. It exposes that we only receive nourishment from what we eat. We can also be truly nourished through how we are with ourselves.

  9. Appreciation is an expansive rhythm that continues to grow, expand and nurture who we are via our movements. it is then from these movements of appreciation we are not only confirming ourselves but confirm the all.

  10. I have just spent the past two days bathing in appreciation and thus, I can appreciate your contribution even more for its candour and grace.

  11. Appreciation rocks! The more we appreciate the more there is to appreciate. It’s an endless well that nourishes our body and soul.

    1. It certainly is Lucy, it nourishes everyone when appreciation is regularly expressed and deeply felt. I have found jealousy, comparison and judgement can very quickly creep in if I haven’t been appreciating myself and others. Appreciation is key to life, without it our relationships can easily wilt and die.

  12. ‘Yes, I can fully appreciate my commitment to healing my old ways, and then feeling how much I resisted delaying the truth: I rejected my body, I rejected being a Son of God….’ the correct order to first appreciate your commitment to healing and then the honesty of how you have been living. The other way around we start with bashing ourselves and will never come to the truth of appreciation as the way to change our movements.

  13. It’s great to explore appreciation at this time of year, we can look back at our year and really appreciate what’s taken place and what we’ve been offered and what we’ve accomplished. I feel like that gives us a really steady platform upon which to say yes to what’s next.

    1. Yes Meg, it is so pertinent at the end of one calendar year and the start of the next as a cycle that is repeating offering us many cycles to appreciate the who we are, what we are made of and where we are from and let go of the what is not.

  14. The presentations from Universal Medicine have also completely changed my life. Appreciation wasn’t even on my radar now I know there’s ALWAYS something to appreciate and confirm about how amazing I am, my life and those I live life with. It’s not always my focus but that doesn’t mean it can’t be, thats my choice.

  15. When we don’t build consistent appreciation in our lives we are susceptible to the ideas and beliefs of what is ‘going around’. Much like how if we are run down we are susceptible to cold, flues etc. Appreciation is a builder for our body and being.

    1. I love what you have shared Jen, I have been lacking appreciation lately and I have been feeling quite un well, the remedy, appreciation a builder for my body and being.

      1. Appreciation is medicine for our body to support us to reconnect and develop a consistent living way with our being.

  16. ” Thus I have observed and acknowledged how much support there is for me (and for us all), but the difference is I now allow the support in, knowing I am responsible, worthy and deserving to receive it. ”
This is true and one of the keys I find is to realise what one is receiving is what one is in truth , one is just receiving back who they are in truth.

    1. Yes John and it feels amazing to receive this confirmation and feedback of who we are in truth which is deeply supporting to keep saying Yes to what’s next, to keep growing and expanding.

  17. It really is part and parcel of our healing Jacqueline. What you have illustrated is how, once you start it is a very deep well and it offers support, love and healing like no other. Why would we want to live from the shallowness of self-critique, or the darkness of comparison, when we can feel that well of love we are from that has no borders or walls?

  18. Appreciation is just oozing off this page Jacqueline. I am bathing in its lusciousness and feel very inspired by your sharing. Thank you.

  19. This morning I am beginning to appreciate that it is how I move that will determine the quality I align to; either my spirit that keeps me in old patterns, thoughts and behaviours, or my Soul in which I can feel my Godly presence. And I deeply appreciate my awareness that I can feel the difference, and bring myself back to the flow of receiving all the support and love that is endless…

  20. The only way to truly stop something from either happening again or happening over and over would be to change what you put in. Similar to a recipe or relationship or anything. If you don’t like the look or the feeling of what is going on then we need to change what we are putting in. So often the world critiques every part of us and this list goes on and on, what if we were to change how we are in it, how we are with ourselves would this have the power to change anything else? You can only try it for yourself and map the feelings from there if you choose, for me there has been a world changing change to how things are when I have made the choice to have a continued deep look at my input. No more is life crushing or heavy because I no longer bring this to myself and as I heard someone say, ‘live light and be light’.

  21. Jaququline, this is such a yummy breakfast to have. Eating bucket loads of appreciation is the only way we can return to walking our true body shape that is full of all the love we are.

    1. Love this Kim, eating bucket loads of appreciation for breakfast what a great way to start the day. Yes and being full of appreciation, we are able to walk all that we are.

  22. Appreciation is a very powerful value that helps us see the bigger pictures in life and the energies at play. When life throws us curve balls and we may wobble, appreciation helps us stay steady, knowing that who we are remains and does not change. It helps us see that these curve balls are presented for us to know and show the more of who we are and are never meant for us to shrink away or make ourselves less.

    1. Beautifully expressed Jennifer, I am appreciating how much appreciation supports us in life and how powerful it is.

  23. When we learn to express appreciation for our bodies and all that we share, we would not want to ignore what our bodies share with us. I also offer appreciation for the wonderful teachings of The Way of The Livingness and the presentations of the Ageless Wisdom both presented by Serge Benhayon.

  24. This is a perfect blog to read to remind one that great healing is on offer when appreciation is lived. And boy oh boy there is a lot to appreciate when one starts to look.

  25. Appreciation is the pathway out of holding onto our regrets in life, so that we understand the reason why life has brought certain things our way.

  26. The power of appreciation is in its expanding and evolving way, which opens us up to greater and deeper levels of love not able to be experienced with out this foundation as part of our lives.

  27. Could we ever speak highly enough of this important value…appreciation? It truly is foundational to our wellbeing, the wellbeing of our relationships and how we travel through life. There is no end point to appreciation, it is a constant.

  28. We, well I have spent a lot of time and energy trying to make life what I want and need it to be. If at any point I didn’t like something or it didn’t go well then I would change it, it was complicated with a lot of twists and turns. When you read this, life is simple at it’s core, “Once you have aligned to whichever one, all your choices thereafter come as a result of aligning to that quality of energy. I created my life from the energy I aligned to.” So I use to think I was in control or at least try and control life and yet that was the trick. It’s an alignment to an energy that then from there produces all else, simple and yet it’s not what we make it.

  29. I was at a presentation yesterday where the subject of death and dying was touched upon and how many people have regret or things in their life, and also go into reminiscing in an attached way before dying or at a late stage in life. It was offered that instead of going down that track we instead appreciate hugely the gifts we have been given and the evolutionary steps we have taken in for example letting go reactions, letting love in and letting it out, living harmoniously, and being in conscious presence. It was beautiful to feel this appreciation.

  30. Through appreciation we are able to steadily build a loving foundation and deeply value and accept ourselves for who we are and the qualities we hold within.

  31. Appreciation is so, so underrated – we live for the most part with a watered-down understanding of it. I joke not when I say we need to develop a deep appreciation of appreciation and all that it can bring and support.

    1. I agree Victoria. Appreciation is super powerful. I am realising how it holds me steady through difficult times. It helps me see that the difficulties are their for me to see more of who I am and bring that out. If I didn’t have appreciation as a foundation then I would be swamped and overwhelmed by the challenges of life.

  32. Awesome blog Jacqueline, I love reading this again, it reminds me of how much there is to appreciate in life. I am exploring the wonders and magic of appreciation more and more.

  33. Appreciation is food for the Soul, as it bring us back to the core of our being and the real values we hold.

  34. All hands are the hand of God – appreciating this is massive and can support us all to re-connect to our divine essence. A moment without this connection is a moment that we say no to divine love.

  35. For far too long we have cultivated a culture of criticising each other and ourselves, which only serves to keep us and others less, and sadly this has become the norm. Our newspapers, magazines, social media, TV reality shows all present a put down energy of gossip, and sniping at people in a petty way. With appreciation, all of the above does not have to be taking place, and it feels far more loving to appreciate others than it does to put them down.

    1. Very true Julie…the ‘culture of criticism’. There is nothing about criticism that supports another or ourselves. We are all human and all make mistakes, sometimes a lot. But we are no less for making a mistake. Criticism puts us in the corner, blocks us in and stops us from knowing and connecting to who we are. I always wonder if we are on criticise mode then how are we feeling about ourselves. Always a good place to begin.

  36. Being able to appreciate encompasses many of what you have shared, it isn’t an affirmation, but an inner knowing that we are more that flesh and blood. That it is more that just words to oneself, it is and has to be in our movements, as this then can dictate, in a good way, what other choices are that we make.

  37. Beautifully shared Jacqueline, appreciation is the key to our expansion and evolution, I have been slow in developing appreciation, but when i do feel it I feel so much joy and expansiveness in my body, I love this line “I also deeply appreciate how amazingly simple my life has become, and in that I have learned that through simplicity, my Soul communicates.”

    1. Feeling to expand on that Jill, feeling more spacious within, the impulses from my Soul can be easily felt. I have just moved a few days ago, which was another opportunity to clear and discard the old, which leaves my feeling light and spacious – and in this new space I am receiving so much!

  38. The quality of relationship we hold with our bodies is key to being aware of what quality of energy is moving us. Although it can be confronting initially to realise what we are allowing, our willingness to being honest is what develops our awareness so that we can feel when we are moved by our Soul or by our spirit. Our bodies are the gateway to living and bringing the light of who we all are in essence here on earth, as they were they were divinely designed to do. Yes there is so much to appreciate, of who we are, and how much we are truly held to return to living our true and unified way.

  39. Wow there are over 1800 comments in this blog, it is obvious that the subject of appreciation is worth talking about, and many are inspired by your blog Jacqueline and the power this quality brings to our lives when truly lived.

    1. I noticed that too. Appreciation is so easily taken for granted, yet it’s the very thing we are all deeply missing.

    1. It sure does Esther – appreciation confirms the vibration of truth and love, the qualities of light which we all are in essence. There is nothing more ‘rock solid’ than that.

    2. And if we understand this we will know that all it takes to have true confidence is appreciation which then confirms all that who we are and what we bring.

  40. “The more I nourished from honesty (instead of contraction), the more certain foods dropped away, and my body shape changed to express more of my true beauty and my true essence.” This sentence helped me to get to the understanding that true nourishment is not the food we put in our bodies but the quality from which we make every movement and choice. Our food will simply reflect this quality – whatever it is.

    1. Love your understanding and expansion on this Lucy. True nourishment is the quality in which we move our bodies; are we moving with all of us or are we moving in rush mode, in drive or have to achieve mode, or having to please others mode, or in lack of self-worth mode, and many more, which do not activate quality but the very opposite.

      1. Our movements then either activate or cement whatever quality we’re moving in, further. I love this expansion of the word nourishment into a way of being and moving, not just an an activity.
