What a Man – Serge Benhayon

I have known Serge Benhayon for coming up to 5 years and what I have seen from his presentations, courses and the way he is with his family and the students of Universal Medicine, as well as the way he chooses to live his life, has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Here is a man who holds himself as a complete equal to each and every person he interacts with. This man is like no man I have ever met.

Serge Benhayon | Founder of Universal Medicine
Serge Benhayon | Founder of Universal Medicine
He, Serge Benhayon, has a natural way of knowing how to support each person, whether individually or as a group, by expressing simple truths that stop you in your tracks.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Serge on a personal level, as have many others, and I have found that he is no different in private than he is in public: he is just as supportive, loving, firm, and understanding, yet his commitment to life and people is beyond measure.

This is understandably not a typical representation of a man, but the truth is that we have before us someone remarkable who deserves to be recognised for simply this, because this man, Serge Benhayon, is living in a way that has and continues to inspire hundreds, if not thousands, of other men and women to make changes in their lives that support them to enjoy life like never before: to live in a way where they get to know every part of themselves and hold themselves with such respect and integrity that they naturally inspire others to do the same, knowing that they too deserve this same reflection and support.

Before I started attending workshops and presentations by Serge Benhayon, I was exhausted, stressed, always anxious, unsure of myself and emotional.

I have my own hair salon, which I have now been running for 12 years. I would end my week feeling as though I just wanted to cry from the back pain I was experiencing and I would often find that my Sundays were a day I needed just to recoup from all that had happened in the previous week. By Sunday night I would dread the following day as I knew that I would have to do it all again the next week.

I was also very reactive, which meant I would often make choices that did not support me, such as the type of food I ate and overeating, not exercising, and having arguments with people. I found that I would often feel needy in some way and felt at a loss with what my purpose was in life.

My relationship with family was all over the place and this always unsettled me. I saw a counsellor for 2 years but still felt this had not resolved much. I would walk into work wishing I could be in bed, or that I could be on a hot beach somewhere.

I found myself being emotionally reactive at times, taking out my un-dealt with issues on others and also myself. I was very abusive with myself to the point of really giving myself a hard time with everyone and I did not feel any sense of worth with my life, my body or my choices.

I then met Serge Benhayon and I could say that when he met me, for the first time in my life I was seen for who I truly was. He expressed in a way that allowed me to feel and understand my turmoil with life and what had come to be my choices, my reality and my truth.

Serge did not throw a party or ‘big me up’ in any way; he simply spoke to me with a quality and a presence that I had not felt before. After a few years of getting very honest and making changes to the way I was living each day, my life began to truly change.

Some of the changes I found easy and others were a challenge: going to bed early and changing my food choices were pretty easy but learning to not react to the behaviour and choices of others and myself I found more difficult.

I now live my life feeling joyful in my body and this is developing more and more. I end my week with no back pain or aching muscles and I have a very strong relationship with my body and its needs.

I have always had a deep passion for hairdressing and am now a beauty therapist as well. The strength that I am building as a woman in the world has enabled me to have a greater understanding of myself and, therefore, of every other woman.

What Serge Benhayon brings to this world is endless and without a doubt this man represents all men and the truth of who they are.

He does not hold back and he certainly does not play games. Serge expresses in a straightforward manner that I find very refreshing and inspiring.

I cannot even count how many realisations and teachings that Serge has presented me with. He does not see the point of wasting time and he certainly is always kept busy with all his commitments, but when in his company, he is always sharp-witted and ready to support with his years of lived wisdom.

I have and continue to grow and deepen the love I have for myself and everyone around me and this is naturally having a ripple affect with the many hundreds of people I know.

Serge Benhayon has presented how to live simply, and lovingly inspires others in such a way that brings about true change to their lives.

  1. Serge Benhayon shows me that it is okay to walk in life in a different way, being fully open and trusting, not needing to be accepted by others…he is raising the level of respect we have for each other by not needing to be agree with other’s choices and opinions. He is an example of how respectful a man can be, for there is not a ounce of judgment or expectation in him, regardless of what others may do with what he presents.

  2. When I first met Serge Benhayon I knew everything had changed. In the early days I felt like a rag doll in a washing machine as I washed out all my ideals and beliefs about life and I am consistently inspired by Serge to walk with true purpose through life and share the love that has been awakened in me.

  3. I used to think to be emotionally reactive and taking out my un-dealt with issues (I wouldn’t have been able to call it that anyway) on others was my personality and there was nothing I could do about it, but that is so not true. And what I have been learning is that it is not about becoming a better person, but it is about truly accepting and surrendering to the true essence of who I am and that trying and pushing doesn’t really work.

  4. The simplicity of what Serge presents can challenge us if we are used to being wowed by a leader. Serge does not big himself up, he lets each of us know that we are all from the same source as he is and therefore able to do as he does if we choose to make our livingness a dedication to Love.

  5. likewise Amina, “learning to not react to the behaviour and choices of others and myself I found more difficult”. Definitely a work in progress, but one I now enjoy as to stay myself rather than going into something leaves me in 1000% better shape, as well as then being able to give so much more to the situation in question.

  6. It is so refreshing to be with Serge Benhayon, he is honest and does not hold back, treats you with a deep level of decency and respect – anyway , he does meet you in your essence, in who you truly are from the core of your being and with that connection you get to feel who you truly are, that you do know all about life and how to relate with it.

    1. Yes Nico van Haastrecht I totally agree with you Serge Benhayon has exposed the lies we have ingested by simply showing us in so many different ways that we do know all about life on so many different levels and how to relate to it so that life doesn’t control us.

  7. “he simply spoke to me with a quality and a presence that I had not felt before.” This captures Serge Benhayon so profoundly and beautifully, his mere presence brings all the grandness of the universe in the simplicity of everyday life. There is no trying nor pretending he simply is all that he knows himself to be.

  8. I certainly wouldn’t be seated here writting this comment and feeling so great without my experience with Universal Medicine. Serge Benhayon inspires me to bring my presence in my daily basis and from this choice I can feel tender, feminine, settled, sometimes vulnerable and others not comfortable but with a sense of joy and stillness inside that confirms what true love is about. Thanks Serge for being here reminding us all what we can live by connecting with who we really are.

    1. Me too Inma Lorente Serge Benhayon inspires people to just be themselves and not what society dictates they should be. If we were all allowed to be in the essence of who we truly are, I don’t feel the world would be in such a mess that it is currently in.

  9. Thank you Amina for sharing your experience with Serge Benhayon. A man like him deserves being recognized for the service he is offering to all Humanity, leading the way in how we can have harmonious lifes just by connecting deeper with ourselves and our body.

    1. The beauty is that Serge Benhayon does not need the recognition, but it would be a great step forward for humanity if they would recognise Serge for what he brings to all of us, and start to listen to his teachings.

      1. It would be the best medicine that humanity could take, if everyone listened to the Universal Medicine teachings, humanity would discover how simple life could be. For example so many men that I talk to do not want to be a part of the ‘rat race’ any more. They want to have more time with their children, as they realise they grew up resenting their parents as they didn’t see their parents because of the pressure of work and the same thing is happening to their children, that their children will grow up resenting them because they are always away and they just don’t want to do this to themselves or their to their kids. They feel there has to be another way to live. Universal Medicine offers a different perspective to life one that is more wholesome.

  10. Serge Benhayon indeed is remarkable in how he is inspiring many people. I would love that all of humanity has at least access to this man, so everyone can lead a life like he does if they choose so.

    1. The desire for all of humanity to have access to Serge Benhayon clearly challenges those who do not want what he represents seen by all of humanity, otherwise we would not see the cold and calculating attempt to destroy a person’s reputation with lies. The truth has no need to a lie to convince anyone, the truth stands transparent for us to choose to see or not.

  11. “Serge did not throw a party or ‘big me up’ in any way; he simply spoke to me with a quality and a presence that I had not felt before.” This is so important as we speak with each other every day and we usually don’t feel this quality that inspires us to change. So why not? And also it shows the power we all have in how we live and what we communicate not just with words.

    1. Lieke I agree. Serge talks to humanity in a way that we can at some level all feel. We get to feel that there is a part of us that has been recognised, this is our heavenly particles or divineness that we all have, but have not taken any notice of as we have been educated over many lifetimes to look outside of ourselves and not within. Serge Benhayon looks within us all, firstly he sees our true divineness and then the everything else that is there, the everything else that is there is not us but what has been imposed upon us that we think is us.

  12. Beautifully said and very true Amina, Serge Benhayon is an incredible man that has graced us with his presence since we meet him. Reading this testimony is a confirmation of the absolute blessing he has been to so many people’s lives.

  13. There is a natural ease and normalcy to knowing Serge and being held in such love because in truth it is normal and natural to us to be loved in this way. But at the same time it is not the norm in today’s world and hence how important it is to not hold such love back.

  14. Thank you Amina, Serge Benhayon is an amazing guy, he is adored by many for a multitude of reasons. When I saw your photo what touched me was how sensitive and lovely you looked, and how much you deserve to have this opportunity through Serge’s work to live in this new and loving way. Then the reality of your one story reminded me of how everyone deserves to live a loving life, and the value of what Serge has brought for the whole of humanity. The opportunity is there for all of us to live in a loving way if we want to. How beautiful it would be for the whole of the world to return to love.

  15. Serge could simply spend the whole day writing truth that will be published in the form of books. The books will be the most valuable ever, but if he does so, he will not make too much of a difference. The difference is him living and acting as he does in combination to what he presents and the fact that we can all feel that there is something that overall feels absolutely true.

  16. I too can share that knowing Serge on a personal level is a great consistency – he is no different than when we present to a room – he does not hold back, he simply delivers what is needed and does so in a loving way. It is a joy to observe how he holds everything equally – from just this we can learn so much about being who we truly are all of the time.

  17. Serge Benhayon simply presents ‘how to live simply, and lovingly inspires others in such a way that brings about true change to their lives’ – no more simpler than this. It’s what we do with what is presented is the question and the individual’s willingness to be inspired or not – the options are there, no pressures or judgments.

  18. Amina I could not agree with you any more than what you have shared here. Serge is a man who just presents there is another way to live, and the rest is up to you. I too have developed a supportive rhythm of going to bed and waking up early and I love it. With my body it signals more often when I have eaten food that doesn’t serve me, as for the reactions, i am constantly reflected something and I often ponder on my own reactions or responses.
What I love is that I am a student of life and everything presented to us is an offering, the rest is up to me – this is a snap shot of what Serge brings to me, no more, no less.

    1. Yes a student of life, humble and willing to learn from the reflections we are offered. We have the reflection of the Universe in each others eyes – how amazing is that?!

  19. I also find it really inspiring the way Serge Benhayon brings his full commitment and presence to everything he does and everyone he meets – equally so.

  20. I agree Serge Benhayon is an extraordinary man, he has a natural ability to meet individuals in a quality that allows another to be open, honest and relaxed, which in itself is an extraordinary quality, he inspires others not only by the words he speaks but through the quality he lives, he literally walks his talk.

  21. “Serge Benhayon has presented how to live simply, and lovingly inspires others in such a way that brings about true change to their lives.” And those lovingly inspired by Serge Benhayon are now inspiring others to rediscover a true and loving way to live.

  22. The beautiful thing about Serge is he simply lives the love and truth he is in essence and this is what inspires others to change their own lives. He consistently presents the truth without expectation, pressure, investment or judgement, which leaves the listener free to take it or leave it by their own volition. The truth Serge shares is something we all have equal access to, as it’s equally inside each person, so the changes made are to simply return to living that same essence of love and truth within that Serge lives.

  23. ‘He, Serge Benhayon, has a natural way of knowing how to support each person, whether individually or as a group, by expressing simple truths that stop you in your tracks.’ This beautifully sums up not only how supportive Serge is to everyone that he meets but also how he does it without any imposition but by reawakening the inner knowing within others which invites them to make the changes they feel are true for them.

  24. What Serge Benhayon brings to the world is a depth of understanding ourselves that then empowers us all to live who we truly are, meaning we are reminded that it is ok to live by what we know is true and step by step can start to live it. And there is no ground more solid to stand on than the truth we deep down know.

  25. I remember this; “By Sunday night I would dread the following day as I knew that I would have to do it all again the next week.” This was very consistent and the ‘dread’ was very difficult to live with. Has it gone completely out of my life? No at times the feeling can be there, not as intense but there all the same and then this is a reflection to me that I have missed a part of something. A change needs to be made in my day somewhere and it’s a simple case of bringing more awareness to what is going on. This part then unwraps itself in front of me to the point where the ‘dread’ or feeling of dread is gone and the day Sunday is just another part of the week.

  26. An amazing turnaround Amina, thank you very much for sharing. Your honouring of another man in this way, in this case Serge Benhayon, is deeply felt.

  27. Serge Benhayon “his commitment to life and people is beyond measure.” hear hear, I totally agree, his love for humanity is beyond reproach, it is amazing how unrelenting he is in what he achieves in just a day. His ability to work literally around the clock, without exhaustion, without complaint, but from absolute love for what he does, his life and everyone around him.

  28. Wow Amina, what an amazing turnaround you have had in all aspects of your life since meeting Serge Benhayon. It is extraordinary the amount of miracles such as yours, that have occurred with many students with the true support and love of Serge Benhayon – we are so very blessed in many ways.

  29. “What Serge Benhayon brings to this world is endless and without a doubt this man represents all men and the truth of who they are.” Serge Benhayon is the most remarkable man I have ever met. He speaks truth with such understanding and love yet has a humbleness that is striking in one so amazingly wise.

  30. I have never met a man in my life before that I could say is totally a messenger from Heaven, who puts the well-being and welfare of humanity first before any personal desires. This is not sacrifice in the usual martyr-like sense but is the true sacrifice or renunciation of all self-interest, because the wisdom is that if you care for the benefit of all, everyone ‘s TRUE interest will be served. And saying this about Serge Benhayon has not even scratched the surface of the infinite beauty, grace, love, understanding truth and wisdom that this man lives and brings for all to discover within.

  31. Let’s face it and be totally honest, how many people do we truly know that truly inspire us and whose inspiration grow overtime? Of those, how many leave you the space to be you in absolute terms? On top of that, how many are there to support you no matter what – not pandering of course? How many truly feel lovely? If we put the package together, the conclusion is obvious: there are not many Serge Benhayon’s around. That is why he stands out.

  32. It is not just that Serge is a font of extraordinary wisdom and living truth that aligns humanity to its true purpose… he also has the most wonderful and wicked sense of humour… by the way did I mention that he is able to hold you with a love that never wavers?

  33. God – is something that is worth talking about, and even though the word God is often not even mentioned – the presence of being a Son of God is very much present in us, in nature and in people around us. What the teachings of Universal Medicine are presenting is that we naturally all have an essence that is from God , and that even though we at times choose to walk away from it – it is the essence in us that remains. So we are simply learning in the school of The Way of The Livingness (which is my religion, it is very simple way
Of living the true me) how to come back living from that essence that has always been and always will be, no matter our choices. We can simply choose at any time to come back.

  34. What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man! Is naturally what came to mind when I read the title of this blog but as I continued to read, I could feel that what you were conveying was so much more than any blues song has been able to say thus far. You are appreciating a person not just a man, a person that has dedicated his life to serving humanity, not doing “good” but actually living a quality that can be felt all around the world and beyond, what a man indeed!

  35. I have never had such a joy and willingness to be in life as I do know before I met Serge Benhayon. All from him simply sharing how he lives in a way that we all can, and by my own choices to test what he presents for myself. More and more these days I don’t see Serge Benhayon as better than me or special. The love I see in him I am now feeling is in me too and that it is normal and natural to be joyfull in life. This is a huge blessing I am deeply appreciative of.

  36. What I love to witness every time I meet Serge Benhayon in his workshops is how real and accessible it can be to express our divinity, without losing anything of His essence in our human experience. He emanates pure equalness and is a living example that we all can do the same.

  37. When I talk to Serge I love the practicalness that he brings to life and his support allows me to step back from situations and see the bigger picture.

  38. ‘I cannot even count how many realisations and teachings that Serge has presented me with.’ Me too Amina! I keep thinking of some vital piece of truth that Serge has delivered on a platter for us and how our lives would be a total train-wreck if we hadn’t realised that – eg. the ‘good’ illusion’ or’getting to the bottom of our hurts, or observing and not absorbing’, or comparison and competitiveness, or simplicity not complication or 1000 other things. the list is endless and the divinity spacious!

  39. Serge Benhayon is transparent beyond words and brings humanity the truth of what we have chosen to live. Not always easy to hear but always supportive and inspirational to commit our life to what we innately know we are, love. And the only way to get to this innate knowing is being consistent in honouring our body, as it all starts from there.

  40. ‘By Sunday night I would dread the following day as I knew that I would have to do it all again the next week.’ Many of us, myself included, have known the Sunday night dread! When I was 20 and first went out teaching at a high school, Sunday evening would come around and I would feel this tension and nervousness at what I had to face the next week. The work was immense, the staff room full of cynical sarcastic colleagues, the stairwells stank – it was all unbearable. Now, although no longer in this particular situation, thanks to Serge Benhayon, I love to face the week ahead knowing it will bring so much joy – still a huge amount of work, but . . what else would you be doing?

  41. Thank you Amina, I can relate to your story and how you lived life before meeting Serge Benhayon, and being met by Serge for who you are and the feeling of being deeply understood for why your life was as it was. There is something so incredibly powerful about being met in the truth of who we are, the essence we are truly within, yet not judged for not being able to live this, just lovingly understood and supported. In a world that seems to be trying to make us into something, Serge brings it back to the simplicity of who we are – a very powerful experience.

  42. What stands out for me reading this blog again today is the mention of Serge Benhayon not seeing the point of wasting time, and this is so true, wasting time has no point. It is our time to check out, but this is only to not feel the ill ways in which we live, truly it doesn’t have any purpose to waste time, this is a beautiful thing to read and feel, there is always something purposeful to do when we are choosing to stay with who we are.

  43. Anything within us that is unresolved and undealt with shadows us and is a blatant bait for reaction until we heal and let it go.

  44. Yes I too am inspired by Serge Benhayon but also by all those he has inspired because he doesn’t leave the inspiration as something to make us all stand apart. It is something very different, he inspires you to know you are that yourself and so it is an ignighting sort of inspiration which is rare but thankfully infectious!

  45. Serge Benhayon has always managed to inspire people who have been caught in a way of being which they know naturally is not their true selves. He has inspired people to reclaim what they know within and live lives that are more full of complete joy, understanding, and evolution with no coffee, chocolate, sugar, or off time needed! WOW

  46. When we realise that it is in the way we choose to live that inspires and not in the telling another what to do it changes everything. We bring the focus back towards ourselves instead of projecting our issues onto another. This has been and is a real game changer for me in all my relationships. From wanting to control situations and people in my life it really has made me stop to look at and begin to take responsibility for the choices I have been making in life and to understand that my every move in loving connection to me and my body is what inspires and causes a ripple effect and not the knowledge coming from my head.
