I’m a bit of a fan of people’s choice awards like the Archibald PC (People’s Choice) prize for best portrait – as selected by those who actually attend this annual exhibition. The difference between a People’s Choice Archibald and the Archibald awarded by trustees of the Art Gallery of NSW devolves around two things – firstly the PC Archy is awarded out of the actual experience of ‘non-expert consumers’ and secondly it represents a much more broad-based consideration than the ‘main’ Archibald. Around 7 – 8 years ago I was introduced to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine. I was astounded at the level of care and integrity presented by Serge, and in every facet of Universal Medicine.
Although I had no major illness or complaints, I certainly did have aches and pains, mostly my back (sometimes very strongly, from prior injury), and my knees, which were never great. In attending a session from Serge, and from sessions with other practitioners at Universal Medicine, I was amazed to discover a whole other way to live, take care of myself and understand my body.
Today I rarely have back pain and I never have knee pain. The stress levels and worry I once endured are no more – I have a different outlook on life. That in itself is amazing to me, but what also is amazing is the way the business of Universal Medicine is conducted. The business model itself is inspiring on so many levels. I am a single mum with a young daughter, and a couple of years ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The Universal Medicine Practitioners at the Brisbane Clinic have been supportive beyond words during this time.
So that I might have the support I required over that time of my treatment and recovery my daughter and I stayed at the Brisbane UniMed Clinic for three months. Not only did I receive the utmost in care, but I was also supported through doctor’s appointments and financially, as I was unable to work. I was given the love and care that was needed and not once during this time was a treatment ever based on whether I could afford it or not.
