Catharsis –– Healing or Harming?

How Emotional Drama Influenced my Life

I was always the private drama queen, and in more ways than one. In everyday life I could create a crisis out of the littlest thing. This was very entertaining for me but not for everyone else, however, I got attention that way.

It wasn’t in tantrums and shouting and crying but in my volatile reactions to events and always thinking it was the end of the world if the slightest mistake was made, mine or anybody else’s.

I continually worried about getting things right, which was a horrible way to spend my life.

Caring Enough to Ask – Could there be Another Way?

Is it arrogance to suggest that the way we currently live is not working, or is it the ultimate expression of love to potentially pop peoples’ bubble of pride and ask, “Could there be another way?“

I was certainly stuck in thinking life was ‘fine’. After all, it was a simple enough assessment to make. The Way of The Livingness, a Beetle and the Magic of God

The other day I had quite an unusual experience of the magic of God at play, the language of symbolism as presented by The Way of The Livingness.

I am quite used to leaves and feathers in unusual places; the story of a beetle appearing on a friend’s kneecap after she had told her daughter that her pain felt like a beetle gnawing at her; a huge butterfly majestically gliding past umbrellas and patrons in an outdoor cafe setting in the middle of town, and so the list goes on.
