Sea Shells and the Winds of Change

New Year visitors to the coast were noticeably absent from the streets – possibly melting in a corner somewhere, or indoors making use of the air conditioning systems. The red and yellow surf life-saving club flags were indicating no lifeguards on duty. The beaches were closed. The days before this one had been blisteringly hot with high oven-heat temperature and winds increasing – at times gusting to almost cyclonic conditions – blowing all that was not tied down across the streets and along the nearby foreshore. The Esoteric – our Divine and True Origins

There is so much about the Esoteric that many either don’t understand or recoil from when they hear this word mentioned. This is mainly due to this word having been bastardised and misused for centuries now, probably due to the fact that the church wanted to control the masses or stop any movement that would allow others to discover truth or a deeper connection to God.

Valuing the ‘Esoteric’

The word ‘esoteric’ can be traced back to the Pythagorean era where it was simply used to define the ‘inner-most’ of human beings, as opposed to things that were outside of us. It was widely accepted without fuss that it was natural to have this inner core and for human beings to be connected to this part of themselves known as their ‘essence.’ Yet over the years the true meaning of the word has been slowly eroded away to the point that very few people know the true meaning of the word, let alone its magnificent original history. Re-united with God

God was never mentioned when I was growing up; not because my parents were anti-God, it’s just that they weren’t ‘believers.’ They were fairly unusual in that they got married in a registry office, again not because they could categorically say that there wasn’t a God but because they couldn’t categorically say that there was.
