Learning to Find Me and Live My Life

Throughout my life I have been many things to anyone and everyone; and until recently, nothing to myself.

My father had won a scholarship to the local King’s School (as inaugurated by Henry VIII) and so I was drilled into following in his footsteps. I didn’t, and all in all, I must have proved a great disappointment to him and never earned his respect. Continue reading “Learning to Find Me and Live My Life”

Exposing the False Perception of a Perfect Life

I was living a seemingly perfect life and was feeling normal living with my emotions and selective memories of the good times I’ve had.

I was under the impression that I had worked out what life was about and had the illusion of being in control. I couldn’t fault anything physically as everything looked picture perfect, but there was a constant feeling that something was lacking. Life felt like a tasteless strawberry made out of plastic, but it seemed no one was aware of this except me. Continue reading “Exposing the False Perception of a Perfect Life”

What’s in a Saying?

This morning I realised the impact that certain common sayings have had in affecting my choices throughout my life. We tend to think that a saying or proverb is used by a loved one with fondness, as an ‘endearing’ turn of phrase, but are they really supporting us?

As a young girl, one saying I can remember clearly being told to me regularly by my Gran was, “Cold hands, warm heart.” I remember her having very cold hands so it was reassuring to me that she had a warm heart. Continue reading “What’s in a Saying?”

Many look at the name Universal Medicine and wonder why this particular choice of words was made to describe the complementary healing business founded by Serge Benhayon in the township of Goonellabah, NSW, Australia, in 1999.

The Universe, as we may know, is the constellation of planets and stars our Earth is a part of. As many have discovered, the Universe we belong to is but one of several that exist. It can be hard to fathom that there is so much more out there beyond this planet of ours.

Medicine is something we may identify that is needed for our bodies in order to heal them from some sort of illness or disease. Illness or disease are states that are not in line with what is ‘healthy’ or our most natural and harmonious way of being. There are varying perspectives on what should be classified as medicine, and what is able to bring true healing. Continue reading “What Does Universal Medicine Mean?”

Appreciation, Appreciation, Appreciation…..

Appreciation: I can feel the power this word emanates… and I can feel appreciation oozing from my body because there is so much to appreciate.

I can deeply appreciate that my inner knowing was aware all along, as we all are, how the ‘return path’ to my soul was going to unfold…

I also deeply appreciate how amazingly simple my life has become, and in that I have learned that through simplicity, my Soul communicates.

I genuinely appreciate I could not write or claim this 4 years ago. Continue reading “Appreciation, Appreciation, Appreciation…..”

From Apologist to Confident

When I was younger I used to apologise for everything. I used to say sorry to people at work before I asked them a question – like my manager, even if it was to do with my job! I used to say sorry to people if we bumped into each other on the street, even if they bumped into me. Sorry was a word that would automatically jump out of my mouth if I wasn’t sure about anything.

I had totally forgotten about this until I remembered the other day how much I used to apologise for just being me. Continue reading “From Apologist to Confident”
