Making Space

I am in the process of getting my house ready for sale at the moment and, although I love my home, the time has come to move on.

I have lived in my beautiful home for six years now and even though I haven’t accumulated much during that time it is becoming apparent with every drawer and cupboard I open that there is an excess of unnecessary ‘stuff’ that is not actually needed… and is taking up space. Could We Be THE One?

Before coming to the teachings of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, I had always considered love to be something reserved for those ‘special’ few in my life.

It wasn’t just a normal way of being with everyone but something that needed time, consistency and a track record of trust. Take away that trust and the love would seemingly dry up like a puddle in the sun. Continue reading “Could We Be THE One?”

Developing a Relationship – with my Essence

Developing a relationship with and connecting to and playfully exploring my essence, was something presented to me by Natalie Benhayon at the end of a revealing and amazing Esoteric ovary massage. Natalie has a depth of wisdom and is a true inspiration to me; the authority of her livingness is incontrovertible. She holds an unapologetic, unwavering solidness of love and an equal-ness for all others within her – especially from her eyes.

Natalie’s session was for me the last of a series of sessions with Universal Medicine practitioners. Each session stood on its own, whilst also being part of a whole unfolding package of myself. Continue reading “Developing a Relationship – with my Essence”

Magic of Knowing… We are All One & the Same on the Inside

“We are all one and the same on the inside.” I have heard this, and I have expressed this, on many occasions! We have many external and superficial differences such as being a man or woman, boy or girl, short or tall, of diverse faiths, multiple hair lengths, hair colour and styles, different coloured eyes, different skin colour types, races, countries, the list can go on and on…

With these many differences, we can either choose to see only these differences and many more, and thus see what our eyes are taught to see and only what our eyes see, or we can choose to see that there could be another way to see things – a way that is without the need of relying solely on what our eyes see!

How contradictory is that? Continue reading “Magic of Knowing… We are All One & the Same on the Inside”

Me, Mum, Dementia & Re-Connecting through Touch

by Yasmin Lang, Aged Care Nurse / Massage Therapist, Byron Bay

I was invited to give a presentation at an Aged Care Centre, to bring awareness of the benefits and support massage can provide. I did not know what I was going to talk about until I stood before fifty or so residents and staff and began sharing what felt right from my own experience.

My mother suffered from dementia, and she came to a point when she no longer recognised me or knew my name. Having a conversation only created confusion for her, so I used to hold her hands and then gently massage them, and the feeling between us re-awakened and she called me daughter! My Dad & I: Starting a New Relationship

I am 35, and my relationship with my Dad is the best it has ever been. It has been interesting to look back and observe how it was at different stages of our lives.

As a young child I remember hanging out of Dad’s back pocket; wherever he was, I was, and I so wanted to make Dad happy. He was my idol.

It is easy to see now, when I look back, that Dad had put a lot of pressure on himself: he had three young boys and a wife to support, was running a bricklaying business, and was in the process of turning our hundred acre run-down farm into an income – as well as renovating our home. In all of that I never saw Dad a great deal… so when I did, I wanted to please him. I did as I was told and took an interest in what Dad was interested in so I could spend time with him. Dad loved me and loved my being around him – and if that made him happy, then that is what I did.  Continue reading “My Dad & I: Starting a New Relationship”
