Words from the Male Minority

by Steve Matson, England

I shall briefly digress six years – a bit about myself and my life. I am in my third marriage and third set of children and work in a maintenance department in a prison. I had quit smoking about 5 years before this period (50 a day) and replaced it with eating and added a few pounds (sounds less than kilos) and got a bit fat. I also liked my drinking, that also helped me get fatter. During this period I never really got ill, I figured with all the toxins in my body even the bad stuff would not grow.

On caffeine from the time I got up till about six at night, I would then wind down the day as a couch potato, and at about 10pm I would have one or two or more night caps to sleep or pass out (I did like ice cold vodka). Sprinkle a little on-line roll playing gaming and that was my life. I thought I was doing alright for being in my early 50s. I was coasting in life just fine. My Life Now – a Very Different Picture

by Irene Sheard

I have recently observed the false and shocking allegations made towards Serge Benhayon, his family and Universal Medicine in various press articles and also on television (including allegations that Universal Medicine is a cult) and would like to share my experience and appreciation of Serge and the Universal Medicine team.

I came to live in Goonellabah, N.S.W. three years ago and not long after heard an interview with Serge on the radio and I felt that what he was saying made so much sense. I then started to attend sessions with one of the practitioners at the Universal Medicine Clinic and also presentations by Serge Benhayon. Continue reading “My Life Now – a Very Different Picture”

Supporting the Elderly… and the Ripple Effect

by Mary-Louise Myers

Whilst being a student of Universal Medicine I was employed by Tweed Valley Respite Service to be part of a team involved with a ”Care 4 U Holiday Program”. This was a government funded innovative program whereby elderly carers who cared for their partners with dementia were brought together in a holiday setting to have a rest, get support in the way of legal and financial advice, be updated on what assistance was available through different government agencies and get support for their wellbeing. I ran the groups to give them support for their general wellbeing and gave them individual hands on Esoteric Healing sessions. I would present a two hour group when they first arrived and another at the end of their stay. Continue reading “Supporting the Elderly… and the Ripple Effect”

Sceptical Husband makes his Own Choices

by Gustavo, UK

My wife Priscila was a student of Universal Medicine (UniMed) six months before me. In the beginning I reacted a lot to her new choices, and I had an arsenal to attack her with. How could our lives have changed so quickly? I thought that what we had before UniMed was a great life. How wrong was I!

My first contact with Universal Medicine was through a gentle breath meditation. One day I decided to give it a try. These ten minutes were huge for me. For the first time I connected to myself. I then decided to have a session with Sara Williams and that was really inspiring! Continue reading “Sceptical Husband makes his Own Choices”

Conventional Medicine meets Universal Medicine: Support at every level

by GW

I have suffered from depression for years and since I have been attending the Universal Medicine workshops, courses and retreat I can feel the hurt and sadness slowly and gently lifting. The support and love shown me by practitioners and fellow students has provided me with a safe and nurturing environment to open up to past hurts and let go of the ongoing influences these have had on my life.

I am now in the process of gently building a body and life of love, allowing myself to be me without any expectations of how that should be. I am finding that as I am opening up to myself I am also opening up to others, connecting with the people in my life in a more loving, generous and fulfilling way. Working with Someone who is Involved with Universal Medicine

by Mereti Te Wao, Perth, Australia

I have a professional relationship with Sally and have known her since February 2011, she is the Manager of the service I work in and I am a Team Senior. I am aware that she at times goes to do courses with Universal Medicine and she offers an esoteric meditation every week for those who wish to attend. More recently during our strategic planning day she organised for the team to be introduced to a simple body awareness workshop run by Victoria Carter, which was inspired by the work of Universal Medicine.
