The Laboratory of Life

In two different laboratories, two technicians work diligently at their projects.

One is trying to piece together something they found. They are not sure what they found: it feels precious and important but they are not sure they have all the pieces. However, they are convinced that once they work it out, what will be revealed will change the world.

The other is restoring a beautiful work of art that has been covered in dirt over the centuries. The faint outline of the image is there in many places but in others it is totally obscured. Continue reading “The Laboratory of Life”

But are they Really ‘Skeptics’?

Have I ever met a true skeptic?

I’ve known a few ‘skeptics’ in my day. The one I know best is myself, IF my definition of a skeptic is used (not expecting anyone else to share my definition, however). It tallies more with the ancient definition that did not include shutdown or attacking behaviour against others, as we are seeing abundantly in the so-called ‘skeptics’ of today.

My definition is: someone who is on a committed search for Truth, requiring solid proof of it (not restricted to reductionist science or intellectual argument) instead of blind belief, someone who will question the validity of appearances until reaching something essential that feels true and holds true, and ‘stands the test of time’. My Home is Always With Me

I love nature and what it allows me to learn in every moment.

After having had a very beautiful meeting via Skype with an amazing friend, I was sitting on the terrace and I felt such an inner warmth and stillness. I decided to enjoy the wonderful morning by going for a short walk to admire the landscape, the golden morning sun, and let this joyful feeling sink in deeper. Terrorism

It seems we reserve this word for gross acts of violence, shootings, bombings, cyber attacks etc. by what we consider to be extremist groups. Clearly very obvious evil at play.

However, is there at play much more extreme and wide spread forms of terrorism every day, right before our eyes, that we have chosen to be blind participants of? Subtle they seem, but not so subtle once exposed and seen. Continue reading “Terrorism”

God is Love

Today as I walked, I passed some people going from house to house, looking like they were door knocking or passing leaflets out to people in their homes. I felt them, and their purpose, was to spread the word about God to remind all that there is a God, or perhaps a way to God. I felt myself walking along equal to them, and all others, in my relationship to God.

I know God is as much in me as in all others, and in every piece of nature I walk past on this glorious September morning.  Continue reading “God is Love”

True Reflection, The Way of The Livingness & The 5 Elements of God

Have you ever looked at a magazine, pictures on the Internet or on TV, and felt truly inspired?

By ‘feeling truly inspired’ I mean, did you feel the beauty and grandness you were seeing, reflecting to you what is actually within yourself? Or did you cringe and feel yourself shrinking by the massive amount of comparison and inaccessible ideals these images can bring up?

When I looked at magazines I only received the message that there was something out there I still did not have (and I may never have), but that I needed to achieve to be able to feel myself as equal to this.

I never ever felt inspired by any of the pictures I used to see; instead I always felt how I was reduced to being less.
