God is in the Detail

A beauty-full friend recently said to me “God is in the details.” I laughed and said I’ve only ever heard the idiom “the devil’s in the details,” and never understood it. Detail has always made sense to me, it supports me to feel very centred and still, so how could it be a bad thing?

I realised I had just been presented with the truth… God really is in the details. Continue reading “God is in the Detail”

From Giving Up to Reclaiming Myself as a Son of God

For six years now I have been studying, learning and growing with Universal Medicine. Before Universal Medicine, life did not make sense for me and I had given up on myself, others and life.

Growing up, my mother was protestant and my father belonged to another small church – but neither really cared much about religion.

When it was time for my protestant confirmation, I thought about not doing it – as it was my choice. One of the reasons I did it was because of the big celebration which was held for me… and all the presents and attention I got. Continue reading “From Giving Up to Reclaiming Myself as a Son of God”

From Christian Belief and a Good Christian to Finding True Religion

When I was a child I was raised with a Christian belief, an evangelical and baptised catholic. My father wasn’t an active catholic but I could feel the destructive behaviours he used. As a consequence of his catholic upbringing he acted often out of guilt and shame. And so his decisions for himself and our family members did not stem from love.

My mother was raised evangelical, and my grandmother, a dedicated and ‘good’ Christian. Their Christian belief seemed to give them a comfort somehow, and a feeling that they were ok and life was ok. Continue reading “From Christian Belief and a Good Christian to Finding True Religion”

Humanity Pty Ltd and Organisational Change

One of the things that fascinates me is the interplay between the people with a clear sense of the change in organisations that is required in the organisation, and the responses and reactions to that change. Continue reading “Humanity Pty Ltd and Organisational Change”

My Guide

by Rod Harvey, Marketing Manager, Gold Coast, Australia

Throughout my life I looked to others for inspiration, or to be my guide. They included teachers, work colleagues, sport coaches, team-mates, self-help dudes and the myriad of ‘successful’ people I read stories about.

While I enjoyed their stories or accomplishments, little they said or did really rubbed off on me.

In early 2007 I listened to a presentation by Serge Benhayon and there was enough in what he said to intrigue me to go back again. I liked how Serge spoke in an assured yet humble manner. He was totally different to any of my previous role models.   Continue reading “My Guide”

I am Worthy. Reclaiming Myself as a Son of God

FROM RELIGIOUS CHILD TO GIVING UP ON GOD

I was a deeply religious child – I felt the immense divinity surrounding me. I remember driving along in the backseat of our family car looking at trees in wonder of how they came to be. I used to pray to God at night because I could feel his presence around me and I wanted to honour that by saying his prayer.

And then I got older and started to see more… Continue reading “I am Worthy. Reclaiming Myself as a Son of God”
