My Guide

by Rod Harvey, Marketing Manager, Gold Coast, Australia

Throughout my life I looked to others for inspiration, or to be my guide. They included teachers, work colleagues, sport coaches, team-mates, self-help dudes and the myriad of ‘successful’ people I read stories about.

While I enjoyed their stories or accomplishments, little they said or did really rubbed off on me.

In early 2007 I listened to a presentation by Serge Benhayon and there was enough in what he said to intrigue me to go back again. I liked how Serge spoke in an assured yet humble manner. He was totally different to any of my previous role models.   Continue reading “My Guide”

Words by Serge Benhayon…”Be Love”

by Katinka de Lannoy

I met Serge Benhayon for the first time in June 2008 in London. My first impression, without having heard him speak, was one of simplicity and warmth. If I had been honest my true feeling was to never ever leave his side again.

I spent ten days in England that time for a couple of Universal Medicine workshops and courses. An amazing experience which would change the way I saw and understood life. This was mostly something I felt on a deeper level, not something my mind could understand at the time.   Continue reading “Words by Serge Benhayon…”Be Love””

Consistently Inconsistent to Consistently Consistent

by Tanya Curtis, Gold Coast, Australia, Behaviour Specialist, Assoc Dip Ed, BHlthSci.(BehMgt), MBehMgt, MCoun

Until recent years, I have become accustomed to a way of living in which my experience of people I have chosen to be in my life, including myself, has been of ones who are consistently inconsistent. The consistency of this inconsistency created for me a platform of unpredictability, lack of trust, “you can’t rely on anyone”, it is a guarantee they will let you down… I could go on! Basically, I had concluded that people (including myself) could not be trusted.

Acne: My Skin, my Diet and Me

by Leonne, Compliance Coordinator, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

My issues with my skin really began when I hit puberty. From 14 onwards I was engaged in a battle with my face, squeezing, scrubbing and obsessing about each new spot that would appear.

It was just the usual teen acne and something most of my friends had, too. It was tough sometimes, but I figured I would grow out of it and have a smooth face once again when I was all grown up.

I remember reading so many books and articles at that time, trying to find a solution to my facial woes. Continue reading “Acne: My Skin, my Diet and Me”

Encounter with Universal Medicine

by Adele Leung, English as a second language, Hong Kong

A few years ago there was an impulse in my heart – a knowing that humanity is connected. This was not something I could prove, but every cell within my being wished to live and express this impulse. It was not something easy to explain to those close to me – friends, peers or even family. As I began living as such, I met with Universal Medicine through the books of Serge Benhayon.

The initial encounter with the books was transformational as they were not understood through the intellect, but opened me up to a much deeper place within – my heart. What the books spoke was the truth known by the heart, as expressed through Serge. The books did not make my life easier so to speak, but the more I read, the clearer it became that there was still so much in my life to be aware of – the choices I was making on a daily basis to be self-loving or not. Simply knowing this was not enough, if what is known is not lived. There were so many areas in my way of living that were now open for me to look at, to be self-reflected on with raw transparency. Yet it was all a choice to me, and I was aware at times that would be challenging. What kept me going was knowing that if I could confront things I hadn’t dealt with, others will know it is possible also. At the same time, the love that opened was immense, and nothing could compare to living it.  Continue reading “Encounter with Universal Medicine”

A Cancer Patient’s Experience of Complementary Treatments with Universal Medicine

by Virginia, Byron Bay, NSW, Australia

All of my life I have suffered from an ever increasing range of symptoms which became more severe as I grew older. At the age of 43, I was finally diagnosed as being extremely sensitive, in fact about 100 times more sensitive than the average person – all of my totally unrelated symptoms were allergies.

My body had reached crisis point. Within two years of this diagnosis my gallbladder was surgically removed. A year later I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer – malignant multifocal infiltrating ductal carcinoma. I had the lump removed but refused chemotherapy; with the severe reactions that I had had in the past to western medication I felt that chemo would have been the end of me. That was six years ago, and although the tumour grew back and metastasised to my spine, much to the amazement of my doctors, I am still here!
