Finding Eternal Rest through the Ageless Wisdom Teachings as Presented by Serge Benhayon

“If then you do not make yourself equal to God, you cannot apprehend God;
for like is known by like.”
Hermes Trismegistus

My re-connection with the Ageless Wisdom teachings when attending presentations by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine has been what changed for ever my vision of the world and humanity, how I perceived history (and pre-history) and how I view my place and part in all of this.

As far back as I can remember, I’ve had the sense that the human life I could see being lived around me was not amounting to the quality that it was intended to be. All young children are naturally sensitive and the child of 4 or 5 that I was, was deeply aware of various levels of tension and restlessness that was palpable amongst adults. The sense that life was a struggle, permeated all generations and was reinforced by the almighty ruling Catholic compression that says that we are here to en-dure life, and certainly not en-joy it.

The mediocrity and sub-standardness of life on earth could be observed in many areas of life:

  • The family area is commonly described as the bloodline we come from, the people we are blood related to such as our parents, siblings, uncles and aunts, grand-parents, cousins etc. As the main social unit in our world today, one would assume that this is a place where we feel the most loved and safe, but nothing is further from the truth and child abuse, domestic violence, family feuds and high rate emotional intensity is unfortunately the sad norm. It is clear that the family sphere is not a place of healing and growth.
  • The sphere of work and study is the mechanics of society, the activities that produce and deliver in a defined purpose, the grease that makes it all work. As members of society, we have a responsibility in playing our part and bringing our unique qualities to the whole. Are we obstructing the mechanics or are we bringing more oil so the machine can work perfectly for the all? Are we working as little as we can and retiring as early as possible because we have made work a hindrance to our free time? This sphere clearly doesn’t show purposeful working for the good of all and often the search for individuality comes before the enrichment of all.

This state of play, described briefly, illustrates how deeply perverted life on earth feels.

I saw the corruption, the unloving ways, the hypocrisy, the cult of individuality that were not serving us. We, as a race, sometimes experience so-called happy moments but if we were to read/appraise these moments for what they really were, they would often feel forced and untrue.

So no wonder my general mood was low grade anxiousness and unsettlement as I felt there was something missing in the way people were living – a way of life that was dis-eased. I nevertheless functioned well in society knowing that one day I would find what was missing. I just had to look for it. I searched high and low, mainly in books, and looked into religions, religious movements and philosophies but these constructs appealed to my intellect because they were coming from the mind and therefore were too convoluted and not engaging the part of us that is pure and sacred.

So the anxiousness with acute palpitations continued, and became at times so intense it had to be medicated, particularly when it turned into dreadful panic attacks. Medication was very welcome as it suppressed the tension but also of course the awareness was also held back.

Reflecting on this time in my life, I was merely surviving more than truly living, but wasn’t it the case for most human beings? And how could I complain? I was living in comfortable surroundings, earning good money that was covering my needs, I was being professionally recognised, I was loved by my family; after all, I just had to make the most of it! But the thing is there was something in me that just couldn’t be satisfied with this situation.

Then one day, when the pressure got too much, I was offered a Sacred Esoteric Healing session by a friend, and a purple book called “The Way It Is“, written by Serge Benhayon, landed on my table. That was to be how the Ageless Wisdom teachings re-entered my life.

The first thing I remember when I attended the initial presentation by Serge was that it was all very familiar. It was like returning to something that I had known a long time ago, a long-gone way of being that was authentic, genuine, transparent and natural that I could identify with. I had found my identity.

Our true identity has nothing to do with what is currently lived on this planet. We are not the fearful, inadequate, insignificant or, at the other end of the scale, the nasty, the arrogant, the over-bearing beings that we believe we are. These are chosen energetic impositions that come to pollute the otherwise pure, divine, godly, all-powerful beings of light that we are. Misery and angst don’t originally belong to us and nothing except the Ageless Wisdom teaches this.

We are not from this density and, when the teachings are embodied, life becomes purposeful, joyful, harmonious; we fill and nourish the space with the over-flowing love that lives in our hearts. We have to come to terms with our glory in the knowing that our particles are divine and we are made of invisible energy, we are made of light. Each human being radiates their own unique signature energy so everyone has a unique part to play. Our responsibility is to shine and fulfil this uniqueness so to enrich the world. The magnificence that we are is infinite, and really we are divine beings and not human beings.

The Ageless Wisdom teachings have been saying this for thousands of years through pre-history and history. Great Teachers that walked this earth like Hermes, Siddharta Gautama, Imhotep, Patanjali, Pythagoras, Jesus, Mohammed, Saint Germain and many more known and unknown, have very lovingly offered their guidance to arrest humanity’s unrest and turmoil so that we can free ourselves from the tyranny of creation.

The Ageless Wisdom teachings are like a Golden Thread which is found in every human being on this planet and it is impressed in the body.

Reconnecting to it is like finding the Holy Grail. It lives inside us and guarantees us eternal rest.
