A while ago I had a revelation…. about the magic of nature and the magic of God.
I had taken a client to an appointment and was sitting in the waiting room. As I sat there waiting for her, I saw a picture on the wall of willow trees hanging over and into the water on either side of a river. It reminded me of my grandparents’ farm on the Shoalhaven River and how behind the island, which was part of their farm, the willows used to hang over the water. As the water flowed by, the lower leaves would glide across the water and you could see the shingles on the bottom, as the water was so crystal clear. The sunlight used to sparkle on the water and I remembered how much I always wanted to go into the water because it was so beautiful.
I remembered I had that same feeling each time I was in nature – wanting to walk into it, be under that majestic tree, paddle my feet in the water, somehow absorb what I felt it was emanating.
I realised I had been looking for what I could feel was there but was not able to capture because I was looking at the beauty, harmony and magic of nature as something I couldn’t attain – as something separate and outside of me.
But then I realised that what I was seeing and feeling as something outside of myself I can feel in me also – that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me and it is as beautiful as are the trees and rivers, and I don’t have to look outside of myself to try and capture a fleeting feeling when I can feel it all the time with me and in me.
Because everything that is in nature is in me also.
Now that was an amazing revelation to me and so next time that I am with nature I know there won’t be that longing of wanting it to give me something since I now know that I am part of the magic of nature – which also means I am part of the magic of God – and I can bring equally to it what it brings to me.
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Serge Benhayon – who walks the talk of the love and joy he is with everyone equally.
By Deidre Medbury
I wonder at the magic of nature and the magic of God and realise that we are all part of that one divine magic and body of Love. We cannot be made any less because we are all from the same source. It is us, the human being that reduces what we have at our disposal to support us on this plane of life, it is us that reduces our awareness to put greater emphasis on what we do and achieve through the arrogance of championing our access to free will.
This is something to consider isn’t it – that the beauty that we see in nature, the order, the harmony, the stillness, that all of that is within us all the time.
Beautiful how you’ve described nature in a way as if I see it before my own eyes. And I agree nature gives us an awesome reflection of our beauty, but are we aware that there is even more beauty and amazingness in us when we reconnect to being a part of the universe?
You have just reminded me that what’s outside cannot be without what’s inside. Thank you.
Appreciating the beauty of nature is not hard. Our senses do this for us. But if we ever have the chance to truly feel who we are and our relationship with the universe, we cannot not know that the majesty of our beauty has no parallels.
How you described the farm, such descriptions could be in a book, describing a picture or movie scene these captured moments we enjoy, but how many of us can relate to such beauty as us coming from and being equal to that quality of beauty? Human life en mass seems to depict and act the complete opposite! Thank God for Serge Benhayon showing that human life can be equal to what is around us.
Absolutely true, we are God’s too, only we often behave as non God’s and pretend we are lesser so we can do whatever we want to.
‘I am part of the magic of God – and I can bring equally to it what it brings to me.’ Love this realisation, simple and true, we bring the magic of God towards all we encounter, I love being this sparkle of God.
Nature is our constant reminder that God’s hand is everywhere.
“Because everything that is in nature is in me also.” What a wonderful thing to remember, especially when we have huge winds, excessive snow or heat etc. All of these things reflect something that is occurring within us because we are not separate from nature.
Beautifully said Linda. You’ve also reminded me that nature’s reflection is God’s way of communicating to us and reminding us how beautiful, magnificent, deeply loved and grand we all are.
Beautiful appreciation of nature’s beauty and I appreciate the grandness and beauty within yourself Deidre. It is magical when we come to a point in life where we can deeply feel we are at one with nature, people and everything around us. I have experienced this connection in one of the Universal Medicine courses. It was absolutely incredible and confirming of how amazing we all are and that we can live in connection with the ALL in every moment of our life if we so choose.
Woo Hoo what a moment to feel…embody….celebrate and confirm…”But then I realised that what I was seeing and feeling as something outside of myself I can feel in me also…” I Love this it is scientific fact that to know it we must first know it within us. Thank you for sharing.
Beautifully shared Deidre. We so often look and take in the majesty of nature, of a sunset in awe of what we are witnessing before us. But in that moment how often do we ponder on the possibility that this that we see is a reflection of the magnificence that we ourselves naturally are and hold within. God is with us, around us and within us always reflecting the truth of who we are and the majesty we are here to live.
God never holds back in loving us to the bone and is always offering us opportunities to evolve. Gosh the magnitude he holds and that is in us equally is beyond words.
Yes nature can’t really give us something other than a very bright reflection of the divinity, spark and light that we are.
To not see ourselves as separate but to understand that we too are part of that magic and harmony that is God – this is a gift, one available to us all.
A beautiful sharing Deidre thank you, I remember as I walked in nature in the past I could feel all the wonder, beauty and harmony that was there, but I did not know at the time that what I felt in nature was also in me. A beautiful confirmation of the magic of God we are part of.
It is beautiful to know and feel that we are part of the all.
Beautiful reminder Deidre, that the beauty and magnificence we see in nature is also inside us too. Nature is God’s way of communicating to us and reminding us of who we are.
Deidre I’ve just returned from a walk and I was admiring the stillness of the suburb I was walking through and felt similar to what you have just described in this blog, the beauty of everything around me. You reminded me that everything including the magic is within us all if we chose to feel it, we are no different.
I always love when the sun sparkles on the water, such a glorious sight all those glimmering, dancing stars playing with the water, it’s a gorgeous reminder of where we come from and that we can play too and let go of being so serious.
Looking at pebbles through the crystal clear water is a beautiful message from the magic of God that we are all equally beautiful pebbles in the completeness of who we are.
To realise that the beauty we see is in fact in us too, that nature is there to remind us is a gift, a lovely calling to know we are all part of something more.
Walking with our connection, to the Inner-Most, Esoteric or Soul all one in the same, is the most empowering things we can do so we bring the most beautiful gift to nature.
We are reminded of who we are by nature. We could not love it as much as we all do if we were not already in tune with that which we see and feel.
If I can appreciate/feel the beauty in something or someone then it it must be in me also to be able to recognise it. Through the presentations by Serge Benhayon I have come to realise and appreciate this truth.
Just yesterday my neighbor had a group of friends over to watch the footy grand final. They were noisy cheering, oohing and arghing. What was beautiful, that I clocked, was the birds and their pristine sound. The out of place sounds did not out place nature. That’s what I love about nature, that no matter what, the birds will always sing the magic of God.
A beautiful realisation Deidre being reflected to you by the beauty and harmony of nature, it reflects to us what we all ready are and an inner knowing that we are so much more.
Deidre, you describe so beautifully the magic of nature and the truth that this divinity resides equally in us too.
Indeed Deidre we must know that this strength, love and beauty is in us – as otherwise we keep confirming beauty outside of us and we then give our power away instead of living it !
This reflection has brought much confirmation, Deidre, of experiences in my life that until now I have not claimed. As we deepen our awareness and allow this to expand outward in our lives God is reflected back to us. Thank you so much for sharing your understanding and experience.
There is something very magic about nature that brings you back to a something grand and beautiful we also belong to.
This setting that is describe in this article is so so clear it was like I was there with the author. I could see everything she described which as lovely considering it was words on a page. This hits to more of the magic that can occur when we feel and reflect something we truely see and appreciate. I can say I know what is presented in this article already but know I clearly know it more deeply.
It is a deeply profound revelation you share here, that the magic we witness in nature is a reflection and a reminder of the magnificence we are naturally within, signifying the interconnectedness we share between us all, the universe and God, and that we are with ourselves we are naturally with God.
‘Which also means I am part of the magic of God – and I can bring equally to it what it brings to me’. This is a beautiful line of equality Deidre, claiming the divinity that resides within.
Beautifully shared Deidre, thank you, I have always loved the feeling I had when I was in nature, this was my go to place for nurture, but I now know that that feeling of nurture I can give to myself because I carry it with me. Knowing the magic that nature holds is also within me.
I have never heard anyone besides Serge and now the student body, present on the fact that we are equal to everything, including nature, that no thing, no beauty, no mystical crystal, place or plant can ever compare to the kingdom of heaven inside our hearts. This blog is a conformation that all though we can admire nature its true purpose is to reflect that which we are already.
Well said Sarah. How often when we look at the beauty of nature in awe, do we clock the magnificence, the awe and majesty that we are innately are within? Since the presentations of Serge Benhayon I now am awe-inspired by the magic of us all, who we are within, and what our true potential is, much more than I was by the magic of nature. But never without appreciating how the magic of nature supports us, divinely so, to realise and reminds us of who we are.
If you can see a sunrise or a tree branch floating in the breeze and feel the wonder of what is there, then that wonder must also be within you, or you would not appreciate what you are seeing. God speaks to us in many ways, and we have an opportunity to confirm within that we feel what is offered.
I have that same love for nature too- a feeling of expansion and timelessness and sometimes you meet people in life who you also get this same feeling with- a quality lived of surrender and sacredness which emanates out for others to enjoy.
Nature is truly beautiful, I often have a sense of wonder and awe about the clouds, birds, plants and animals I see. It wasn’t until I came to the work of Serge Benhayon that I could even consider that I was beautiful on the inside, that my essence was magical and gorgeous and very much a part of the wonder of the Universe. Great to be reminded that the beauty of nature is simply a reflection of all we come from and are truly.
Yes, I am in full agreement with you Deidre – I also offer to a deep appreciation of and to Serge Benhayon. There are no words that are grand enough to convey this.
“I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Serge Benhayon – who walks the talk of the love and joy he is with everyone equally”.
What you share is so true Deidre, the beauty and magic of nature is a direct reflection of the beauty and magic of God.
Nature is a gorgeous gift. Whenever I feel lost to myself and out of sync with life, nature is the perfect haven, reminding me of the love, order, harmony and cycles that is also the truth of my own nature and essence.
At other times when I already feel the love, light and power that runs through me, the reflection of nature is simply that, a great reminder of the vastness I already know I am equal to and part of.
‘Because everything that is in nature is in us also,’ – this is an amazing statement. We are all part of everything, our particles come from the universe. So of course this is true. Thankyou for sharing Deirdre.
We can definitely be at one with nature, when the reflection can be deeply felt within.
I love how simple and yet so powerful your words are about your realisation. A clear message that we are equal to nature and how its reflection supports us to embrace and appreciate the grandness, the divinity that lives within us all.
How empowering is that to be able to be with nature and feel the absolute equalness. Nature does not try. It just is. So are we.
We are not only part of the magic… we are the magic. What a simple, profound and life changing realisation.
When we feel this equality with Nature there is no separation between us and it. There is a natural flow and we are able to feel the Beauty that resides in us, that is us. Walking in Nature confirms this Oneness that in our daily round we can move away from thus losing the Harmony that is innately ours.
Nature is always offering beautiful reflections that continually expand us and inspire us, choosing to live in a way that allows this to be the ‘norm’ is a joyful and powerful experience that is deeply rewarding in many ways.
We as a society are taught and conditioned from a young age to look outside of ourselves to define or discover who we are. Yet as you have discovered, and as have I, that who and what we are within far exceeds any happiness or fleeting sense of pleasure. As when we connect to our light within, we discover our majesty is forever waiting to be lived and that we are forever held in the oneness of God’s love. We are all connected to all within our Universe and beyond, and we are reminded and confirmed daily by the magic of nature that surrounds us, that through the light of our love is how our majesty is lived together.
I love the way you took me back to my youth and reminded me how natural it was to be part of nature and then another beautiful reminder that this has not changed “because everything that is in nature is in me also.”
Thank you Deidre for a beautiful sharing, I have always loved nature but I could not hold the beauty harmony and magic once I left it, not knowing at that time that what I felt in nature was also in me. Now I know I am part of the bigger picture of the Magic of God within us, and everywhere.
Beautiful revelation Deidre. We are continuously offered our own divine reflection, what an incredible feeling it is when we realise we hold all that beauty within.
Love your comment Elizabeth, I have played that game too, being led by my head and not allowing myself to simply feel from inside my body.
“….that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me “. Truly beautiful Deidre – we all come from the stars and so are naturally part of nature.
Great point Deirdre. Our choices and our beliefs are powerful and if we believe we are separate from nature then this is what we will experience. The beauty in nature is to me a reflection for us all of the beauty in us – there is no separation or disconnection in truth.
I wonder how much the longing to be in nature is simply the longing to feel being in the magic of God, feeling to be part of the whole that beholds us. Nature gives us a beautiful reflection and reminder of this belonging we can so easily lack feeling when being engaged with life the way we have life made to be normal. Important to understand that nature is a reflection that offers us to come back to what is inside instead of escaping into nature to just get a momentary relieve from the stresses of life.
Yes, nature reflects us the divinity we are equally but rarely are connected with, so never is it about losing ourselves in the marvel of the magic of nature but much more find ourselves again.
A beautiful realisation Deidre, so confirming to read, I would feel very connected to nature and would feel its wonder and magic never knowing at that time that magician wonder was a part of who I am and we are also.
“which also means I am part of the magic of God – and I can bring equally to it what it brings to me.” Reading this blog and in particular this line sums up what I want to become more aware of. That I am part of that grander whole, we call nature, the universe or God and that how I relate to that is not only of benefit for myself but for all of humanity, our planet earth and to the universe. No limits if we connect to that grander whole we belong to compared to living my life in the illusion that that three dimensional world I experience every day is my word and are the boundaries to live in.
I totally agree Deidre, it’s important that we appreciate nature but not think that it can provide or give us anything that we do not already possess. It is there to confirm what we already know, to relay messages, to guide us home and to reflect the love and beauty from which we are inside.
Deidre, I loved reading your blog. A gorgeous moment to share that conjured up the feeling of God within.
“Now that was an amazing revelation to me and so next time that I am with nature I know there won’t be that longing of wanting it to give me something since I now know that I am part of the magic of nature – which also means I am part of the magic of God – and I can bring equally to it what it brings to me.” I remember a picture like this one in my own home. The feelings I felt for it were so exquisite. I never realised that it was a reflection of me and my beauty within.
Beautiful Deidre. When we know ourselves as Sons of God we have the realization that we are so much more than who we thought we were.
I echo your heartfelt appreciation of Serge Benhayon who so palpably demonstrates in his every movement how it is possible to live in harmony with nature and reflect this so inspirationally to all.
The more I reconnect back to my true essence the more I feel in the flow of life and thus nature. I feel the constant reflections that I am being blessed with and they act as a beautiful confirmation of my return to love.
To me it is important that I am consciously aware that “that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me,” that I am part of it and not someone who just walks through it like in a set of a movie or play. No I am undeniable part of it and that is what nature reflects to me every day.
Beautiful blog to read Deidre, I felt the same as you when in nature, a oneness and a connection to its magic, little did I know back then that the beauty and grandeur I felt in nature, that was being reflected, was within me, for me to experience and appreciate me.
The first half of your sharing… filled with such appreciation of the beauty in nature down to the finest detail, was just stunning to experience in my body. I too have felt this and yet also forget that nature reflects to us the beauty we too possess and don’t embrace. What a beautiful reminder to look within and deeply appreciate how gorgeous we are.
It is a revelation to understand the impulse of nature lives within us as well. It offers the impetus to explore that we can be with the stillness naturally within us, even in the midst of a man made creation such as the heart of a big city, where we can otherwise feel quite isolated from nature. Holding our connection to that impulse means we are offering to all those willing to connect with it around us. And listening and speaking from it is always understood.
This is beautiful and has brought me back to my body after I’d left for a while. I have been reminded of how I used to go out in nature and try to drink it in with every sense so it would become part of me that I could take home. Inevitably I’d feel so empty when I left to go back to my city home. The realisation that it is a reflection of the glory of God that is within me too has come, thanks to Serge Benhayon – he has inspired me to opened my eyes to the conversations God is having with me all the time through the magic of nature.
Nature is a very patient and loving teacher.
Isn’t nature wonderful! It’s a constant and beautiful reminder of what we have inside of us, which is not always what we want to see because sometimes the reflection we are being offered is quite devastating. But nonetheless – it is right there with us constantly reminding us of all we have responsibility for – small and large and all encompassing; the past, the present and the future.
It is great that you highlight the point of wanting to be in nature, and have it engulf us. What is actually not needed as you present here, nature is a reflection of the beautiful divine beings we are.
Thank you Deidre for a really beautiful sharing, I too had this beautiful connection with nature and it’s magic, a feeling of being deeply held. I know this too I can experience within my own body, feeling the same magic within myself, as I do in nature.
Thank you Deidre this is a beautiful reminder how we are all equal with nature and how joyful being in and with nature is, and the stillness that it rekindles within us through nature and the Magic of God.
If my daughter is feeling out of sorts taking her out into nature restores her and supports her to feel more harmonious and gentle again.
While I was reading your blog Deidre I could feel how my body responds when I’m in nature… relaxed, gentle and an appreciation of the smells, feel of the breeze, the view, touching a tree etc. Then when you mentioned how you were longing for nature to give you something, I realised how I sometimes hold off feeling certain things until I’m in nature, like not fully appreciating the qualities that are reflected back to me, that are within. I also feel how imposing we can be on nature, needing it to be a certain way, like sun is good, rain not so good or unless we want one of those rainy days, warm but not too hot, cool but not freezing… this is also a reflection of how much we seek something outside of us to give us what we are not giving to ourselves.
The beauty of nature is actually placed there for us to feel that same beauty within us. It occurred to me while reading your blog that it is actually a bardisation of nature and its truth to only see its beauty on the outside and choose not to connect equally with what it is reflecting about our beauty within
This is pure gold. To know and to recognise that what we seek outside of us is actually alive and vibrant inside and so there is no need to go anywhere or to seek anything – this is liberation from in the inside out.
“Because everything that is in nature is in me also.” A gorgeous sharing Deidre thank you for the reminder.
How different it is to observe something majestic in nature feeling majestic yourself, hence attuned with it, or feeling that only nature is majestic and we are not. In both cases, we are in God’s Atma. Yet, only in the first example do we accept who we are.
Nature does not ask anything from us, no judgements here, nature just is. Reflecting how life can be. I realise when I read your blog, we too have this ability and the responsibility to live this because as you say we are part of this magic of God. Now most of the time we (mis)use nature for easing our woes instead of appreciating the reflection of God.
Feeling empty and expecting a connection to nature to fill you is one thing but when you realise as you had Dierdre that nature was reflecting the qualities already within you well, it changes everything about our relationship to everything.
Beautifully said Suzanne – what a difference it makes when we realise that nature is actually reflecting to us that the same beauty resides within us also.
A beautiful reminder Deidre of the Magic of God that is within and around us always – ‘that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me’ – a perfect way to start my day, thank you.
Deidre yours is a beautiful realisation that the glory of nature is within us at all times and if we are connected to ourselves nature simply confirms this fact. For me when I step out of my office I can quickly feel how connected (or not) I am, and if I am out, it is easy to choose to come back to me, inspired by the beauty and sheer presence that nature reflects.
Deirdre – your blog is a great testimony of how much love one can re-connect to within themselves. Thank you for your sharing.
This is very precious, to see and to realise that everything you need is already there within you, and however beautiful nature may be, it is always a reflection and a confirmation of the beauty that is always you.
On reading your blog I could clearly feel how as I child I was equal to nature it was stool that I used to reflect what was in me but as I have gotten older I have somehow separated myself from it and lost the connection at times.
Sometimes, at the end of the day if I feel like it has all got a bit much in my house – too loud and too messy too quickly (I have small children), I will step out onto the deck and look up at the stars for a breather. Looking up at the great expanse of the night sky, my chest immediately expands and I feel myself drop back into rhythm with the pulse of the Universe. With Heaven in my heart (always was, but sometimes I forget to see it) I walk back inside and take this spaciousness into my home. Such a simple reset, the choice to live the space that we are.
I love it. Such a simple tip for all the household to ‘reset’ if out and such magic to bring back into your home. I used to use nature a lot when I was out but now I can connect much more easily without it. I still love to be around and within the magnificence and glory of it all, knowing it is also held within me. When I’m next a little overwhelmed of an evening with my children, I’ll remember to step outside and take a peek at the stars to support me which will support us all. Thank you for sharing this.
Nature reflects the divinity that lives and breathes within our bodies for we share the same particles and we are shaped by the same love. Thank you Deidre for sharing this simple and profound revelation: ‘…everything that is in nature is in me also’. As the ancient Greeks used to say: ‘As above, so below’. We are the microcosmic reflection of the greater (macro) cosmos, for this exquisite reflection is not confined to the Earth plane. Everything in our natural environment, from a tiny insect to a star above, is positioned perfectly to call us home, back to the love that we are. There are messages in everything, every particle that has been breathed forth from this great body of love we call God. We need only give ourselves permission to read it all once more. It is the language of love.
Liane I am always inspired by your comments and how they evolve us on to be more of the love we are, filled with an absolute beauty and a grace that is deeply felt. With deep appreciation for this, for from it, I know, I too am capable of delivering this heartfelt wisdom. Thank you for more of this language of love, it’s beautiful.
Thank you Deidre for this beautiful reminder that the magic of God is within us all. And how through the reflections of nature we are constantly reminded of the divinity the we are and are part of.
“I now know that I am part of the magic of nature – which also means I am part of the magic of God – and I can bring equally to it what it brings to me.” I love the sacred hush, the stillness, the presence of God, walking in nature can evoke in me. Its very much a feeling that we are one and the same inside and out, a deep knowing connection, a timeless harmony, beauty and grace, that lives equally within the whole of nature and us all. Thank you for this tender post Deidre.
Thank you Deidre for a delightful sharing that the beauty, harmony and inter-conectedness of the magic of nature is equally in all of us.
This is a beautiful revelation. Imagine if we were taught this as children. We are a part of nature, as glorious as the beauty that we see around us, as breathtaking as the stars and the moon, as deserving of love as we are all sons of God.
Deidre what you share is beautiful – the nature is a reflection of what is inside of us – how wonderful is that. So whenever I forget who I am – nature will show it to me without one ounce of holding back!
This was really beautiful to read. I have often felt what you described in wanting to capture and absorb the exquisiteness of the beauty in nature, forgetting that that beauty already lives in me. So this is a great reminder that I need only to connect deeply to myself to feel this majesty within, for nature is only reminding us through its reflection how amazing we truly are.
Deirdre this is really beautiful. I especially like: “which also means I am part of the magic of God – and I can bring equally to it what it brings to me.” So many of us will go into nature to feel better, but then what imprints are we leaving behind? You have highlighted that we also contribute to nature and have a responsibility to bring something equally as beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Nature is an amazing marker of our relationship with our own connection to the Divinity within. Thats what I can feel from reading your blog Deidre, that if we are deeply connected to God within us, nature is simply confirming of that. Whereas when we are not feeling that same depth of connection nature reflects that also.
This is such a beautiful way of expressing this Joshua – that when we are connected to God, nature around us simply confirms this… And what I realise is in fact that the nature all around me is always confirming Divinity, and it simply for me to connect to within, – in order to connect to God, – to feel this.
Realising the beauty, order and magic in nature is already in you too is a showstopper – what an awesome realisation – thank you for sharing.
Yes it is Meg. Beautifully expressed, an absolute showstopper.
I love your sentence “that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me”. It is so true – the more I connect to myself, the more I feel connected to nature, that is so beautiful. Thanks for your wonderful blog Deidre.
This has been my experience too alexander1207 – the more I am connected to myself, the more I feel connected to Nature – this connection is just there obvious and all around to feel and enjoy -. Reading this blog, I realise I never related to the beauty, harmony and magic of Nature as something that what residing in me – I guess because it always felt so big, so divine -, but this has now changed. I realise now indeed that what Nature is offering us, is a reflection of what is within us. It is indeed about accepting this.
As I read your delightful blog Deidre I got a sense of almost being seduced by these beautiful moments and with that seduction feeling that we are not enough, so looking for something outside of us to complete us, all the while not realising that this beauty is actually within. When we can simply be with these magical moments that nature and God endlessly offer, we are able to see the beauty that it is around us but at the same time honouring the beauty that we are – there is no seduction, just a reflection.
Beautiful. Such a great start to my day to remember I am the magic of God. It is my simple responsibility to accept it. Thank you.
I also love the revelation here of how I sometimes when walking, appreciating the wondrous beauty around me, feel disconnected and unable to fully appreciate it . Now I am aware that when this happens it is because I have not fully accepted that I too reflect God and nature and that we are one and the same.
Gina to read your comment and see it spelt out this morning and remember “I am the magic of God” is profound. It is my responsibility to accept this and to the best of my ability be it where ever I go and if I forget just remember it again and on it goes. Thank you.
‘I am the magic of God’ – I love this Gina. Yes we are indeed. Beautifully claimed and stated – thank you.
Yes, I agree Gina and Deidre – the grace, harmony and beauty we observe in nature is also residing inside of us. All my life I have loved being outside in nature but have allowed myself to be misled into thinking that what nature offered was just there in isolation. Until recently I didn’t consider that nature was a reflection of what was right there inside of me, waiting for me to notice and confirm. My relationship with nature is changing as my self awareness grows.
That’s beautiful Deidre, I can feel how the beauty of nature is all inside me, and I love to see this reflected while being in nature!
“If we acknowledge and respect that then we can love and care for ourselves so much deeper with the tenderness of a blowing willow.” – I agree Phil and your comment and Deidre’s reference to willow trees reminded me how I have always loved the grace-full way that willows blow in the wind, now I know that grace is within me too and I can also sway gracefully like a willow.
“that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me” – Thank you Deidre, as I look out at the leaves blowing ever so delicately in the breeze, I can feel that same delicateness within me also.
This is gorgeous Deidre, a beautiful reminder of the magic we each hold within.
”But then I realised that what I was seeing and feeling as something outside of myself I can feel in me also – that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me” is indeed an amazing revelation when we first get it and embody what it truly means as you have done Deidre. To live knowing that everything that is in nature is also in us and thus we are part of nature and therefore part of God, is to live in absolute harmony with the Universe.
Deidre I love the simplicity of what you have shared about nature and the fact your are part of it.
Deidre I just love the essence and simplicity of what you have connected to and shared here. We could go on and on but you’ve really pinpointed what it is about the beauty of nature that really grabs us – we are seeing our own divine beauty reflected in it!
Deidre Your sharing is so lovely and as you express, God is in us equal to Nature. You also reminded me of the Rivers I loved as a child where I grew up and playing in the cool running water on a hot summer day and using the Willow Trees for shade and play.
Thank you for your blog Deidre, it has reminded me that all that is reflected in nature is deep inside me, it is a matter of taking the time to stop and be still and to let myself feel and connect with me.
Thank you Deidre for sharing your experience of connecting to the beauty of nature that we all hold within us. Nature offers a powerful reflection and reminder of who we are.
That’s indeed a revelation. I have been working as a shaman in the past and connected to the beauty of nature outside not realizing, that it was first inside of me.
Thank you Diedre for this wise and beautiful sharing . Nature certainly reflects to us who we are and the messages and magic of God is all arond us to feel and see. What a gift for us to come home to ourselves lovingly with sparkling joy and harmony
What a profound revelation, instead of seeking nature to give you something, nature is there to remind or confirm you of who you are.
Yes Esther profound and awesome indeed. What a gift it is.
You have described your relationship with nature so well Diedre. You have a special connection that through nature, it brings you to God and to you. I have experienced this too.
A powerfull revelation Diedre that we are all a part of the magic of god.
The majestic beauty of nature is a perfect reminder of how we all emanate love outwardly so and the joy of this is infectious. I have such an appreciation for what nature shows us each and everyday.
I love how you express that, ” That same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me.” That is a truly glorious truth and it feels so lovely to see this written and claimed as such, Deidre. Thank you.
The words ‘Because everything that is in nature is in me also.’ sums things up beautifully. Thanks Deidre for sharing your precious experiences.
It is indeed a revelation when we realise that the stunningness and grandness to be seen and felt in nature is a reflection of what is inside all of us, equally so.
What a beautiful realisation to have experienced Deidre, that we just need to connect and feel that beauty and grandness that we are, a part of nature too. Thank you.
Your blog Deidre has given me the chance to reflect on your observation, thank you. I have always loved being in nature, I see the beauty in everything around me and now I am starting to feel that same beauty in me. It maybe only a glimmer, but when I feel it, it is exquisite like I am starring up at the full moon in the velvet night sky – it is the same feeling.
We are everything, just beautiful and grand and naturally occurring, without effort. We are reminded of this every day. How beautiful this is.
Simply gorgeous- a reminder that we are everything already!
The beauty of nature resides within us all. The sun, moon, stars and trees all offer us a gorgeous reflection of what resonates within us all, perfect harmonious love. Beautifully expressed Deidre
The grandness of nature is a beautiful daily reflection. We have beautiful reminders everywhere we go, of the grandness that we are. Looking up at the sky at night, seeing the myriad of stars constellated in divine order, reminds me that we are eternal and limitless and so grand beyond anything my mind can conceive of. Thank you Deidre.
Beautiful Deidre. Thank you for sharing. It’s true, when we see something beautiful we can recognise it because it’s within us as well, and we are feeling that same way.
As a kid all I ever wanted to be was outside checking everything out while playing and having a deep understanding how the beauty of nature was always with me.
Beautiful Deidre, thank you.
Thank you Deidre – reading your article this morning you put into words exactly how I feel when walking in and with nature – a beautiful reflection.
It is lovely how nature reflects all that we are back to us (:
A beautiful reminder that the immeasurable beauty of nature resides also in us. Everything is a reflection and it sure is stunning to wander in the field of God, observing the exquisite intricacies and wondrous elements of nature that make up the whole that we live in.
Deidre, I so love your line “that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me and it is as beautiful as are the trees and rivers, and I don’t have to look outside of myself to try and capture a fleeting feeling when I can feel it all the time with me and in me.” I can so relate to the feeling you described of wanting to be in nature; what a wonderful realisation that that same beauty resides within you too. I have always wanted to be out in nature, and still make sure that I do so regularly but, as I too have found, I now know that same resides there in me, and it is with me much of the time now too; just up to me to be with me.
Simply beautiful Deidre. The same could be said about the beauty we feel in others. We feel this beauty only because that same beauty also exists within us.
Deidre and Vicky I so agree. Before I used to be in awe of these things outside myself, be it the beauty in nature, the vastness or the stillness, or admire how sweet or loving someone was – which I can still appreciate, but at the same time I now know, thanks to Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon, that what is being reflected is also within me, us all.
So true Deirdre, I sometimes went into nature to find myself but that always made me feel empty and lost inside, feeling like the beauty of nature was so much more than me. Now I can feel that I can only find myself in myself, in my inner-heart and never outside myself. Connected with me I can feel the beauty of nature is from the same beauty that is in me, which is a joy to feel.
Your words sparkle like the water in the story Deidre, and show so simply how beauty is our true nature.
A beautiful reflection Deidre, when we feel our innate beauty, harmony and stillness within, then when we walk in nature we are not wanting nature to give us something. We are then contributing to nature.
It is special and quite amazing, yet sad that we are born with so much beauty but along the way we lose it and there are not many things in life that offer us the opportunity to reconnect to this. Universal Medicine was the first organisation/family that inspired me to reconnect to this truth. The reason I say sad is there are so many of us walking around in the misery of life that we forget to remember just who we are in all our glory. Slowly but surely the Love will spread across humanity as Love is contagious.
I am getting the strong feeling here of how crazy it is that we essentially live in beauty yet choose to see only a small slice of it. We make many things that are less than this beauty and convince ourselves this beauty doesn’t exits. All the while nature and God is sitting right there. The fact that we can do all of this, but are always called to return to our true beauty, is very beautiful itself.
Beautifully said Joseph
I think nature is god’s enormous gift to people, to remind them of who and what they really are.
I agree Dean and the more I connect to my sacredness within, I am realising the beauty of nature is a starting point, God’s gift to remind us. Now I have been reminded of this beauty through nature and connected to this beauty within and let it grow, it feels like nothing comes close to the beauty within when I allow myself to feel this.
That is very special Toni.
I often ponder on nature and it’s beauty. Then I also ponder on how people go to great lengths to protect it as well. It’s lovely to observe and feel what they are trying to achieve, but I often wonder if they can appreciate them selves as much as they do with nature. Can we give the same care and dedication to our selves as we do with trying to save nature when under threat. I always feel we are one in the same and we can all look at nature and feel it’s true beauty with in us.
Isn’t it amazing that we can live life in a way that when we close our eyes or take a moment to connect to ourselves we experience the same serenity and beauty that is reflected to us by nature? But how many people actually give themselves the opportunity to go there?
Deirdre I could feel the beauty within your words emanating too. “Because everything that is in nature is in me also.” We are pretty amazing aren’t we?
What a beautiful blog, thank you Deirdre for this lovely reminder that the beauty in nature reflects the beauty in us and our beauty is reflected back to nature if we stay connected to our beauty. When I was little running around in the forests where I grew up I so knew the magic of God in me as equally as it was in the trees and birds and animals. Now as an adult when I separate from myself I don’t feel this connection with nature and I start looking for that connection outside of me – then a butterfly can just flutter by me and I feel its beauty and harmony and I’m back. There are so many simple moments like this one of the magic of God – its all around us in our daily lives.
Deidre I had never contemplated the idea that everything I felt in nature was something I already had within. This theory blows my self appreciation out of the water to a whole new level, and any time I forget to appreciate myself I can simply remind myself by observing the beauty outside of me and then connecting to this within me, brilliant.
This is so true tonisteenson – it really deepens my self-appreciation too, knowing that the magic of God is in me, equal to that in nature. There’s no room for doubts when we know this is us.
Seeing ourselves as separate from nature and from others keeps us looking outside of ourselves for the missing something. This has to be a set up that keeps us distracted from the fact that all that we ever need and can be was already there waiting within.
Thank you Deirdre. The grandness and sheer beauty of nature being a reflection of who we are within–how amazing to realize that!
I had a very similar experience Deidre, with seeing all the beuaty of nature and then realizing that what I see is actually inside of me. I was walking with my mum one morning and we where watching the sun rise by the river. It was absolutely amazing, I had never seen anything like it before, it looked like the sun was alive and bumping like a heart. I kept on saying how beautiful and amazing it was and then my mun turned to me and said ‘you know that all of that is inside you’. This made me stop and really consider what my mum had just presented. I could feel that she was telling me that all the beuaty, amazingness, and gorgeousness that I see in the sun rise is actually all inside me and accessible all the time. I have an amazing light inside of me, I am super duper gorgeous and I am just drop dead beautiful.
Hi Deidre -what a gorgeous blog. I feel that nature is part of God’s Field and reflects to us stillness and harmony in our lives which is such a generous gift if we choose to accept it.
Beautiful blog Deidre. Nature is but a reflection of the beauty within us.
This is so beautiful Deidre. I can feel the playfulness of you in it, the wonder at nature and God. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful reflection and your story of (re)connection.
You have offered a beautiful reflection here Deidre and reminded me of the connection I feel with nature. I have never really wanted nature to give me something but I have often felt more connected to myself and to all around me when I am in nature. Thank you for the reminder that this is within us all and that we can take it with us wherever we go.
A very beautiful article.
Very beautiful, and so true, we are just as beautiful as nature is.
Thank you for the gentle reminder that; “that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me”. There is no separation between us and nature – we are all a part of the magic of God.
I sometimes go for a walk in nature and then stand still somwhere in a field or in a forest and just feel me become one with the sounds and the wind and the clouds. Very beautiful moments that connect me with myself. Thanks Deirdre, for writing.
Thank you Deidre for sharing that the Magic of God resides always inside us and that we are equal to the beauty of nature. What a revelation and I can feel the beauty of the oneness and harmony. Thank you for reminding us of our grandness!!
What a revelation! I can relate in the sense of giving away my power to nature thinking it was something seperate and far more beautiful and powerful than Me. I would worship nature with rituals and always have demands of what I wanted from it.
Now I appreciate the beauty it represents in me. I am that, and so much more.
This time reading your blog Deidre I could see the shingles in the crystal clear water and your feet paddling in the water. Nature is gorgeous and delicate just as we are.
I always felt the closest to God when I was bathing in nature and feeling its rhythmic pulse. What beautiful piece of writing Diedre
This us beautiful Diedre. I love how you feel God within you no longer, just see it in things outside of you such as the beauty and reflection of god in nature. I feel god in me when I sit, when I walk and when I allow myself to just be who I am. Living the love I have in my heart.
Thank you Deirdre for reminding us that “the magic of God” resides in all of us.
Beautifully described, each time I am out in nature I can feel how I have that same harmonious feeling inside myself and when I feel that, it’s a reminder to me that I deserve to be the harmony inside me, just as nature deserves to be harmony.
So gorgeous, thank you Ariel.
A beautiful blog Deidre and I asked myself the question, does “that same beauty, harmony and magic of nature resides in me” too? and I realize “I am part of the magic of God”. Thanks for the revelation and thanks to Universal Medicine
Thank you Deidre for a beautiful story of your realisation that “everything that is in nature is in me also”. How true that is. I also have always had a huge love of nature, have always felt more of myself when in beautiful natural areas, such as you have described. I feel that I have always felt that huge connection, from when I was very little and used to collect and press specimens of wild flowers near my home. (And I used to collect beetles, cicadas, shells etc). I found all these things so extremely beautiful.
But I also now realise that all that beauty that I was seeing then, is deep down inside me also, and gradually, I am learning more and more to LET IT OUT for all to see.
Hi Deidre, what a deeply inspiring message – that we only need to look inside of ourselves to feel the love and beauty you speak of.
Beautiful Deidre and so true for all of us. Your sharing reminds me of the times when butterflies fly past or play beside me and always a deep inner smile breaks out as I connect with their playfulness, grace and harmony – just like me! : )
