The word ‘esoteric’ can be traced back to the Pythagorean era where it was simply used to define the ‘inner-most’ of human beings, as opposed to things that were outside of us. It was widely accepted without fuss that it was natural to have this inner core and for human beings to be connected to this part of themselves known as their ‘essence.’ Yet over the years the true meaning of the word has been slowly eroded away to the point that very few people know the true meaning of the word, let alone its magnificent original history.
Instead, ‘esoteric’ has now come to be described in dictionaries as something quite secretive and exclusive. For example, one online definition describes ‘esoteric’ as something “understood by or meant for only the select few who have special knowledge or interest” (1) when in fact the exact opposite is the case. We certainly don’t need any special qualifications or magical powers as our ‘inner-most’ can’t go anywhere – we were born with it and it just stays right there inside each and every one of us regardless of whether we choose to consciously connect to it or not!
Some people might question why it matters if the true meaning has been lost over time. But if we stop and think about the possibilities that could arise if we were taught the true meaning of the word right from birth onwards, it becomes clear that the scope of the damage done has been quite substantial.
When we are connected to our ‘inner most’ it’s quite extraordinary what we can know about ourselves, those around us, and the world in general. This ‘knowing’ is not something that is drawn from outside of ourselves, it is something that occurs when we slow down and take the time to connect to what is happening in our bodies. The messages we receive provide us with extraordinary wisdom that is applicable to every area of life and is way beyond what we can learn from textbooks, although obviously such learning has its place. Furthermore, if we were taught the importance of such a connection from an early age and experienced its ripple effect out to every facet of life, a beautiful foundation for our ‘Livingness’ would be laid, supporting us to grow and fulfil our true purpose and potential.
When the word has been bastardised to the degree it has, it’s little wonder that people dismiss the healing power of living esoterically. But consider our health as an example of what is there to value through a connection to our inner-most essence. Such a connection offers us a bridge to know much more precisely what is supporting health and wellbeing and what is sabotaging it. The impacts from what and how we eat, drink, exercise, sleep and so forth would be understood instantly and we would come to realise there was no such thing as “getting away with it.” Instead, we would be getting a constant ‘report’ back from our inner-most letting us know loud and clear the consequences of our choices, long before illness and disease became obvious.
How much could this change our current strong reliance on Western medicine if we knew how to discern for ourselves many of the basic ways to lovingly care for and nurture ourselves to maintain health?
Nations are struggling with the public health debt as illness and disease continue to rise, despite the billions of dollars poured into research and health facilities. But here we have Esoteric medicine offering a harmonious complement to Western medicine and importantly, is freely available to all, and it is being overlooked! It is resisted, ridiculed and viewed with suspicion and paranoia because the word has been so maligned and misconstrued that people don’t understand the full potential of what it truly offers. What a loss to humanity!
Apart from the improvements for people living much healthier lives, the reduction in the costs to governments everywhere would be phenomenal. Levels of accountability would automatically be set at much higher levels. A lot of the corruption and greed that prevails in the health industry would be cleared out as people could discern through their inner-connection what held integrity and truth and what was false.
It makes sense from every angle, so let’s reignite the fire within us and tune up our awareness of the importance of ‘the esoteric.’ Let’s bring it into our Livingness so that it takes its true place in our lives once again!

“The impacts from what and how we eat, drink, exercise, sleep and so forth would be understood instantly and we would come to realise there was no such thing as “getting away with it.” A truth that in time will become extremely obvious. When we take responsibility of our every thought, word and action in accordance with our inner essence, then we soon come to understand that everything, absolutely everything has an impact on our bodies, both positive and negative and hence our whole relationship with the way we live will undergo an incredible transformation.
“A lot of the corruption and greed that prevails in the health industry would be cleared out as people could discern through their inner-connection what held integrity and truth and what was false.” I agree Helen… a lot of corruption and greed would be exposed worldwide in all areas of life when people connect to their inner essence and express their truth.
A great article Helen and a great call to live our every day connected to this divine essence that is us, so that in that reflection others may come to feel their own esoteric and learn to live from that divine connection.
Loosing sight of our inner most, not connecting to it has left us very lost and in a bad state.
The true meaning of this word is actually the complete opposite of what it has become known to be more commonly. Modern definitions of Esoteric include words like ‘mysterious’ and ’secretative’. There is nothing more real, touching and transparent than having a rich connection with yourself that you then share with others.
The word ‘Esoteric’ captures the innate relationship we have with ourselves, without this relationship we will never build a true platform of confidence and worth in our daily lives.
Whatever we ‘value’ in life, gets emphasised.
The greatest way to value the Esoteric is to let it out and live it.
Maybe the word Esoteric became bastardised because as we lost connection with our essence we became a mystery to ourselves? Then our lives become complicated rather than being in the simplicity which comes from being in connection to our innermost
Pythagoras taught us to live from our innermost in a time that was heavy with man fighting man, today Serge Benhayon teaches the same Ageless Wisdom whilst we have endless wars and all manner of ways chosen to check out from our innermost truth – both being absolutely necessary, having done or doing their job of breaking the consciousness we’ve been held under – that does not want us to know the truth of our divine nature.
It feels quite strange how people dismiss the healing power of living esoterically, because this is the key for us to return to living a healthy lifestyle through a connection to our inner-most essence. This connection offers us a way out of living with illness and disease as our normal, it is in our hands and our choices right now.
When we are living in connection with our innermost, our bodies share the truth of what this means for anyone who is open to receiving the truth, whether our minds are aware of this, or not.
It’s time for us to consider that perhaps it’s the very things we resist and ignore in life that are, in fact, our greatest support – such as choosing to take responsibility for the way we are and the way we live, or stopping to consider that perhaps our bodies offer us a great deal more than just enabling us to do what we want in life, which is how we often seem to treat them.
Quite simply not living from our innermost has got us into an awful lot of trouble, on both a personal and societal level, we destroy ourselves when we do not look within.
I have to admit I am really only just starting to understand the power in words and to get the meanings of words so far wrong is a way of keeping us off track for longer than necessary.
‘The messages we receive provide us with extraordinary wisdom that is applicable to every area of life and is way beyond what we can learn from textbooks’ and that is the sad thing about our current system of education, that we make it about accumulating knowledge and never about wisdom. What truly matters is how we are in the world and how we relate to everyone we meet, our energetic responsibility of the imprint we leave behind.
It is unfortunate that in this day and age we value everything external to us way more than the pure gold of our inner truth, love and wisdom… the Esoteric.
The bastardisation of the word Esoteric is a HUGE loss for humanity… not only because of the Esoteric way of living but the fact that the Esoteric healing modalities are also resisted and ridiculed as well. These modalities are complementary to Western Medicine and would powerfully support our healthcare systems if only they were acknowledged and accepted for the profound and lasting healing they offer.
Corruption is so insidious, so much so that we’ve corrupted our words, and thus our understanding of them and this is the worst corruption of all, for we lose access to an understanding and way of life which can support us to live connected to and with our bodies. I’ve always heard ‘the pen is mightier than the sword’ and I can feel how true this is, but I’d never really considered how corruption of the written word destroys and annihilates us, in fact worse than the sword, for with the sword you clearly see the damage and can address it, with the written word, it’s more hidden and it’s a far greater imprisonment.
” ‘esoteric’ has now come to be described in dictionaries as something quite secretive and exclusive.” It’s interesting how so much of our language has been misinterpreted from its true meaning. Just like Chinese whispers, the origins of the meaning of a word can so easily be, and so often is changed simply by one person misunderstanding the truth of what it really means.
If we only ever look outside for solutions then it would make sense for the innermost to be considered mysterious, especially if the way to deal with many intractable issues in life is by looking inside, knowing who we are and proceeding from there.
This is one word of so many we have lost – and if we settle for just 1 word being less, then we say yes to every other word being less – so it does matter and it is important and to bring back the true meaning of the esoteric is to help people understand that it is all within us already.
‘Furthermore, if we were taught the importance of such a connection from an early age and experienced its ripple effect out to every facet of life, a beautiful foundation for our ‘Livingness’ would be laid, supporting us to grow and fulfil our true purpose and potential’, another stella statement of truth Helen. And it is only because we are forcibly disconnected from the natural connection that we have as kids, that most of us end up completely devoid of any sense of true purpose. We roll around in life, trying this and trying that with no real sense of direction or meaning and so desperately try and plug the holes with temporary gap fillers. Tiring, very, very tiring indeed.
‘When we are connected to our ‘inner most’ it’s quite extraordinary what we can know about ourselves, those around us, and the world in general’, yes, yes, indeed because it is our inner most that binds us all.
When a word carries the livingness of it’s true meaning then it acts like a beacon of light in the dark, hence why the meaning of key words have been systematically and purposefully manipulated over time. Make no mistake there is never anything that has ‘just happened by chance’, it is always a pull towards God or a push away from Him. Albeit that we proclaim that it is unconscious, on some level we do all know what we’re choosing. God or not God for now.
By denying our inner-most we deny who we all are and by re-connecting to our inner-most we re-connect to who we all are.
Hail the day that our inner-most becomes our outer-most.
The simplicity, just being normal and what everyone was used to before with the esoteric, is so the complete opposite of what we have today that it is almost hard to imagine. And yet of course we have an innermost to which we can connect to and from there connect to universal wisdom as well. So the way back to the esoteric can be short and simple.
I feel like this lack of awareness or general understanding/acceptance of the very simple concept and fact that there is an inner essence or quality about us as beings leads to so much of our issues and tensions because it is like trying to solve and equation with only half the numbers.
“…something that occurs when we slow down and take the time to connect to what is happening in our bodies. The messages we receive provide us with extraordinary wisdom that is applicable to every area of life …. if we were taught the importance of such a connection from an early age and experienced its ripple effect out to every facet of life…” What a difference this would make if, we were made aware of the esoteric in our early childhood years, as well as awareness for parenting skills.
We make such a big deal about gathering knowledge in our head and even praise those with letters after their names proving that they have dedicated themselves to this. Yet keep educating ourselves from young to abandon our natural inner connection to and awareness of the multidimensional aspects of life, numbing ourselves to an innate ability which is far more superior to all of human knowledge put together. Is this not beyond ridiculous for a species who thinks it is truly intelligent?
Valuing the ‘Esoteric’ is huge when we use its true meaning and so are saying valuing our inner-most, our core, our divine being. The more we value this 1st and foremost the more we see and appreciate what life is truly all about.
When we connect to the original form of any word it resonates at a level that brings deeper understanding and therefore great value to the word and the living way it describes.
Living from the understanding of ‘esoteric’ and applying its principles is to constantly be feeding oneself the best medication possible – the elixir of life?
You say that people don’t understand the potential of what is on offer but suppose some people do understand what is on offer and choose to reject it. Equally suppose at some level we do all know that the truth is within but still choose to look outside – what to do!?
I will answer my own question. Let those who do choose to live a loving, healthy and harmonious life do so and show a different reflection. Eventually more will be inspired and start to make that choice for themselves and so the fire will spread.
Understanding our responsibility in life about re-incarnation is a “foundation” also and is adding to what you have shared Helen about our “Livingness”. ” Furthermore, if we were taught the importance of such a connection from an early age and experienced its ripple effect out to every facet of life, a beautiful foundation for our ‘Livingness’ would be laid, supporting us to grow and full-fill our true purpose and potential.”
The way we under-value the word “esoteric” is enormously significant of how we do not place enough value on what’s inside us – it’s the most precious, most important yet most ignored tool we have in life.
If we really want to get honest with ourselves we are the ones that have bastardised the word esoteric to the current meaning of the word we have today. So what is this telling us about ourselves and what we don’t want to know any more? We as a collective have made the world the way it is today yet we don’t want to take the responsibility for what we have done, and until we do I don’t feel we will clear our mess up.
In our living way we resurrect the true meaning of esoteric.
Since 1999 illness and disease and suicide has been rapidly on the rise, Serge Benhayon predicted this and has through his livingness shown many people the real meaning of the word esoteric and from this place we are able to live much truer healthier lives, bucking the norm of what is going on in the world.
When we, humanity, re-connect to the true meaning of this word and activity, we will make it our number one focus in the world and thus it will re-appear in our education, workplace, community and leisure activities and will be, as it is now, the most natural thing in the world.
If we spent just half of the time we focus on clothes, hair and who’s living where, on our inner sense the world would be a hugely transformed place.
Yes – it’s simply a matter of switching our focus. How many times a day do I forget to check in with my body? It’s like developing a similar rhythm to brushing your teeth – I never forget to do this morning and evening, so a great reminder to have certain check points throughout the day to focus on that inner sense!
‘But if we stop and think about the possibilities that could arise if we were taught the true meaning of the word right from birth onwards, it becomes clear that the scope of the damage done has been quite substantial.’ yes, the scope of the damage is huge. Every aspect of our lives seems to negate our self-responsibility and teach that responsibility comes with a heavy heart and is something laborious when actually being responsible feels very confirming and joyful.
I was clearing out the attic over the weekend and discovered some old photographs. I couldn’t believe how different I looked in my face particularly, the disconnection and lack of love were shown in the clothes I wore – they were seriously hideous as though I wanted to hide the fact that I was a woman, everything about them was dishonouring. I am no fashion queen but I can feel an enormous shift in myself over the past 10 years since I’ve re-connected with my innermost and have started to deeply appreciate and treasure the gorgeous woman that I am, which, in turn, is reflected in what I lovingly now choose to wear, which feels gorgeous.
‘This ‘knowing’ is not something that is drawn from outside of ourselves, it is something that occurs when we slow down and take the time to connect to what is happening in our bodies.’ Knowing that is is always there and all we have to do is connect within makes it all very simple. We tend to complicate our lives with book learning and it is not always necessary when all the wisdom we need is inside us.
‘When we are connected to our ‘inner most’ it’s quite extraordinary what we can know about ourselves, those around us, and the world in general.’ – it’s through our innermost that we feel our connection with heaven, the Universe and the infinite wisdom this avails us.
“When we are connected to our ‘innermost’ it’s quite extraordinary what we can know about ourselves, those around us, and the world in general.” Yes, isn’t it a clever trick that we are taught and encouraged to live according to everything outside of us, constantly distracted by what is going on around us… rather than connecting to our innermost essence first and foremost, having this as our foundation in life, to then move forward with, in whatever it is we then do.
Words should always hold an energetic truth that is passed on from generation to generation so we all have a understanding of what is being shared otherwise we end up in our current mess with our world having reinterpreted many words and thus confusing most.
If only we put a word to the natural state of our young children they would know and cherish it for what it is. It would be confirmation by being seen and honoured in and by one´s essence instead of being asked to disconnect from it to become whatever the world expects you to become.
Eventually all roads will point back to God.
Yes, this is exactly it. Reconnecting back with our inner most is also reconnecting with God, a beau return.
Thank you for bringing the truth back to the word esoteric, the truth that resides within us all, a true way to live from our innate deep wisdom.
By re-connecting us with the true meaning of the word esoteric, you are dispelling the false beliefs that have held it as something that separates us, making it very accessible to us all.
And when we’re not living from our ‘innate deep wisdom’, then we’re living according to a hastily tacked together mish mash of ideas, beliefs and pictures.
‘Levels of accountability would automatically be set at much higher levels.’ In our current world there is a level of irresponsibility that leaves us in social inequality, taking responsibility for all means taking greater care of the imprint we leave behind in everything we do, everywhere we go.
So, a current definition of the word esoteric describes it as being something that is available to a select few, when the truth is, it’s a very exquisite part of us all that is always there for us to choose to connect with and feel the glory of who we truly are.
This banishes self doubt, self worth and all the other ‘self’ issues we might think we have when we are not in connection to our innermost.
We can spend our whole life thinking we are “getting away with it”, or even believing we’re doing the best by following this, that or the other, guideline. However it wasn’t until I started to understand from my own experiences how my choices of simple everyday things affected my body. Tuning into my my body and then reconnecting to my innermost helped me to understand what I was trying to ‘get away with’ or what in fact did not sit well in my body or suit my physiology. The deeper I let myself feel the more honest and nurturing my choices become.
I have found it fascinating when I have been asked what does Esoteric means as I have been developing this connection with myself. Sometimes if not a lot it comes with people being sceptical and weary with the preconceived understanding of what the word is represented in today’s dictionary. However once talking and sharing what it means to me and how I am exploring and developing this connection within it makes total sense. Just like it did when I first came to the word with the Universal Medicine teachings.
Isn’t it interesting that there was a time when living from our inner most was accepted as our normal way of being, so it begs the question how far have we strayed for humanity to not have any real understanding of what it is like to live from within.
The more we value ourselves and take care of our bodies, the more we connect to the value of what is inside – the esoteric that is our essence and our soul.
We are not taught to connect to our ‘inner-most’ instead this world seems to be set up so that we look outside of ourselves to find ourselves. And this is the biggest lie we have all fallen for. For while we look out to the world we are distracted away from the most important part of us our ‘inner most’ when we connect back to this most precious part of ourselves again we can never be fooled as it holds an intelligence greater than the mind can think.
It has been said before, the problem is not with our national health services, the problem lies with people. Humanity is now out of control, with little or no inner connection it doesn’t know how to live in harmony with itself and the world. This is the source of illness. The esoteric way brings us back in connection with our innate wisdom and we begin to truly live again, responsibly and lovingly caring for our bodies and health.
“What a loss to humanity!” How true this is. The answers to humanity’s woes held within each one of us and yet so far away for the majority who continue to give greater importance to external events, ideals and beliefs than their inner-most selves.
I love the idea of receiving constant feedback or a ‘report’ as you say, Helen, from our innermost that keeps us in line with the truth. What greater support could there be to help us navigate our way through life?
Your opening paragraph explains the simplicity of the word ‘esoteric’ It is evil that the word has been taken so far away from its true meaning into the opposite – ‘secretive’ ‘exclusive.’ We all have an inner most essence so there is nothing exclusive and when we are connected to our essence we are transparent so there is nothing secretive about the ‘esoteric’ either. Blows both those definitions out the door so to speak.
The exclusivity meaning of the word Esoteric is so far away from my experience of it which has always been wholly full and inclusive of every person equally. The Esoteric has always presented itself to me as the core fundamental essence of each person, which is beyond personal beliefs and idealisations. It is the door to the source of life that makes all of life happen in its most glorious and stupendous ways.
I seem to hear the word esoteric being used more and more these days and it seems to have many meanings that stray far from its true meaning.
When we connect to our innermost everything is revealed to us, because we learn how to connect to the energetic realm from which we can read all of life. Interesting how our modern day technology mimics what we are all truly capable of.
It is interesting to consider why we have bastardised the word esoteric while it is simply referring to our inner most, a quality we all have and absolutely is not reserved only for a few, neither it is secretive nor exclusive. It is simply available for us all and in layman terms said, our stairway to heaven.
There is a plan behind keeping us unaware of the fact that we all are innately esoteric. Same that there is a plan to raise us all out of the mess we have created from neglecting the esoteric for that long. We must not forget that every choice we make is either adhering to one of the plans.
Being the fullness of who we are stems from our innermost, so living from within is indeed the healthiest choice we can make in our life.
From taking time to understand from a lived experience what the word ‘esoteric’ means, it is in fact very logical, simple and practical in its application and takes far more energy to deny than to embrace.
Helen, your blog has really inspired me to consider how important it is to value all our words. We have a very rich vocabulary available to us and every word has its own quality, the choice of our words, and the way we use them, dictates the energetic quality of our expression which in turn affects the quality of the pool of energy that surrounds us all. Every word we speak leaves a footprint, therefore, understanding the true meaning of words is so important, but so is the understanding the energetic footprint of what it is that we are leaving behind when we speak.
“When we are connected to our ‘inner most’ it’s quite extraordinary what we can know about ourselves, those around us, and the world in general.” Indeed it is Helen, and it is in these moments of pure clarity that there is no doubt about the true intelligence that we have access to, if we so choose.
Helen, you have made a very valid point here in terms of our current health status in Australia and the world, and how simply we have the power to start making a change. Common sense alone can allow us to begin with these changes (eg avoiding less junk food, eating more vegetables…basic points), but even then we often make it about ‘common sense’ or information coming from outside of us – rather than making it about what we know supports the body from the inside out. Innately we all know what to do and how to live and how to eat, yet we have a tendency to give our power away to what we see and are ‘fed’ from the outside. So what you present here is simple and yet super powerful. Thank you for this gorgeous message about how the esoteric lies within us all and holds many answers to what we are attempting to battle from the outside feeling like it is difficult when in reality it is something we can easily deal with if we just connect deeply within.
Thank you Helen for sharing the true meaning and fact of the Esoteric that lies within us all. Simple and straight forwards.
I have found it very interesting to learn about the bastardization of words such as esoteric or love or religion. By not learning the words for their true meaning we react to them and are lost in our search for the truth and connection back to our divine origin.
Thank you, Helen, for bringing focus to this subject. How beautiful that through the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom we know that we are all heading back to this knowing, that we will all get there and that we will be a part of the breaking down of false industries that have been accepted as a normal part of life. Of course, this will take many lifetimes, but as we reconnect to our innermost during this lifetime, so will we be able to in the future.
Not ‘valuing the esoteric’ means not knowing yourself and consequently not living as who you are. So what is life about then?
Losing the true meaning of a word shows that we have lost our living way of it’s meaning. To bring back the original meaning of Esoteric offers a way back to a way of living that is equal to that as in it’s origin the word came from that living way.
I am really starting to see just how much in debt we are everywhere and that no matter what we do nothing is changing. It is ironic when we have all the answers within us. Thank Absolute Goodness for Universal Medicine for not just shining a light on the true truth but living in such a way that we tangibly get to feel and see how easy it is to live a different and far more loving, true and harmonious way than we are currently living.
Helen, I just want to say hear hear, as what you write here explains it so simple and complete that you have basically proven your point that the esoteric is nothing secretive or only for the special few but accessible by all.
There is a huge ‘self-help’ movement going on at the moment, but what strikes me is that much of what’s promoted is books, tailored diets and programs, mantras and so forth that can ‘help you to help yourself’, but you’ve raised a great point in your blog which is that WE are the experts on us, our body and it’s uniqueness, and that actually knowledge may not be the answer we’re looking for, it could be all to do with connecting, taking stock and looking inside rather than out.
Yes Helen – bringing back what is true and sexy : Esoteric. Let”s not deny it, live it in its true meaning.
The fact that the esoteric has been devalued and bastardised means we are not in touch or conscious of connecting with the wisdom that can inform all our movements to bring true health to our lives. This is costing us on every level.
Yes, it is as if there is a road out there that everybody can access but hardly anybody does because we don’t even see it even though it is in plain sight.
If the way of living Esoteric would be known as natural and lived we would have less emotions and reactions in this world, which is the fuel for creation to move on and circulate to keep humanity believing evolving and hiding the fact that we are actually not moving any inch from where we come from. Truth is simple – most of humanity loves it complicated, because then they can define themselves through the complication.
‘When we are connected to our ‘inner most’ it’s quite extraordinary what we can know about ourselves, those around us, and the world in general.’ For me connecting to my innermost means allowing myself to read the energy around me, to read what is going on for the people I meet and all the people in my life. To stay connected as I walk into a new place allows me to read the energy of the room and its potential for disruption or harmonious support.
I used to try and fit the esoteric around my life, but that demeans and devalues it as inferior to life. The power of the Esoteric and the understanding of its meaning is greater than anything life can give us.
The Esoteric is as valuable as the stars and the universe, the greatest Love and warmest feelings in life. If you billed a movie that way we’d que up round the block yet this simple thing inside of us, we prefer to overlook.
Understanding clearly what the word esoteric means in its original form gives us the opportunity to re-connect with its value and see its true worth, beyond the mis-interpretations.
To be taught about our innermost from birth would change everything, as our lives would have a foundation of absolute truth, and a connection to much more than the limitations of our humdrum human experience.
Reconnecting to the esoteric has completely changed my landscape. The way I look at myself, the world and everything and everyone in it has done 180 degree turn. Life has a whole new perspective.
That there are two different perspectives on life is very interesting to observe, and as you say, Rachel, they are 180 degrees opposite. This means in temporal life that when you look in the one direction that you are are not able to see the other perspective, actually, we are blind and unaware. And that is how it feels with the esoteric too until we turn our head to the other direction so to speak, we are blind and unaware and call the esoteric secretive and exclusive and only reserved for a few.
So true Rachel, and may I add that it is also very simple without any hidden agenda.
Far from being an airy-fairy word to me, like it once was, the esoteric has a practical application to every day living that has supported me far beyond the limits of my once sketchy understanding of what it meant. Life to me now has a deeper love, deeper commitment, deeper awareness, deeper acceptance, deeper self-love and therefore deeper love for everyone around me – far less judgment and an ability to handle life’s curve balls with much more grace and empowerment. The 180-degree turn is deeply significant from every single angle of life.
The process of returning to our core essences, our inner-most, our soul and bringing this in all that we do is one that I have been exploring, developing and deepening since being introduced by Serge Benhayon and the teachings of Universal Medicine. Before this I had turned my hand to several things that promoted it offered this but there was no true connection and certainly can feel the difference. My connection is strong and undeniable and it is my relationship with this that is the absolute knowing of who I am.
We have lost the true meaning of so many words, this to me means that we are living very much a watered down version from the truth of those words, and this I feel is the corruption we have in the world today that we allow because we have turned our backs on truth. It suits our way of living to live the lies we have created.
“Valuing the ‘Esoteric’” – is valuing one’s true self. To me, it is what “being true to yourself” really means.
‘How much could this change our current strong reliance on Western Medicine if we knew how to discern for ourselves many of the basic ways to lovingly care for and nurture ourselves to maintain health?’ – so true, Helen. The way we choose to live our lives is medicine for our body which is either loving or harming. Choosing to support our selves by connecting within and listening to all that’s being shared with us is the most loving and honouring choice that we can make.
Living the Esoteric way of life would indeed change the face of medicine and our struggling health system.
Esoteric medicine is living that which we know through our own connection to our innermost heart to be true for us at that moment. Everything we do can be either ‘good’ medicine or ‘bad’ medicine working for us or against us so it makes perfect sense to value the esoteric, our inner wisdom.
Helen this is a very important message – I hope you Will also post it on other websites because so many people need to hear this!
I know people who have a reaction to the word esoteric as if it is some new-age airy fairy flaky concept – how sad we have become !!
The absolutely crazy thing about being in comparison and competition with another, is that we can’t ever really be in comparison and competition with another because in truth, there are no ‘others’, there is only One of us, which means that we are comparing and competing with ourselves, which is utterly ludicrous when you think about it!
Words act like rudders, they steer us in in life, so what better way to lead us off course than the change the meaning of a word.
Yes, and this ‘modern day’ meaning is way off course from the original understanding… interesting that… One can only wonder how ‘modern civilisation’ would be if the meaning of ‘esoteric’ remained true over the millennia.
There is something hilarious about the fact that the esoteric is easily available, in plain sight and regularly accessed by many people but, because it is labeled as hidden and secretive people don’t go there naturally and, if they do, don’t recognise it for what it is – quite normal.
I just goes to show you cannot believe what is written in dictionaries as well!
Valuing the esoteric = valuing ourselves. A medicine sorely needed in the world today.
Yes the best medicine ever but it does not make money for certain big companies so they rather the opposite.
Reading your blog, Helen, I feel a sense of ‘chinese whispers’ with words and our very way of life becoming polluted over the years and centuries from our reluctance to live the truth of who we are, rather, allowing ourselves to be influenced from the ‘outside’, with the allure of a ‘better’ life for us, as an individual. This loss of integrity may slip away gradually, but the erosion has been constant and relentless, bringing us to this point of chaos that we find ourselves in today.
The way we have allowed the bastardisation of words is a crime against ourselves.
It’s another example of how we have stepped away from ourselves, choosing to ignore the responsibility that we all have to allow truth to be our primary impulse in all our movements.
“How much could this change our current strong reliance on Western medicine if we knew how to discern for ourselves many of the basic ways to lovingly care for and nurture ourselves to maintain health?” Not only is this self-empowering for everyone in making us accountable for our choices, it allows each of us to be responsible for our connection to our bodies and for our health.
What I have observed by people who start to re-connect to their inner-most is the most gorgeous depth and sparkle that comes through them, particularly their eyes. It is a joy to behold.
I agree Sarah and that particular depth and sparkle can not be replicated, it can only come from our connection to our inner-most. The commonly sought after state of happiness does not offer the same depth and sparkle, it is a far inferior counterfeit version that has no longevity.
It is very significant that the meaning of the word has been essentially bastardised. For one why did this happen and what if we gain by becoming ignorant to our own glory.
For the one who has chosen to be blind and closed to their ‘esoteric the ‘select few who have special knowledge or interest’ are the perfect excuse to feel excluded without admitting that it is them who have excluded themselves from themselves.
‘Apart from the improvements for people living much healthier lives, the reduction in the costs to governments everywhere would be phenomenal.’ For this reason alone, it is worth stopping to ponder and consider what the esoteric is all about!
There really is no getting away with it. Anytime I think this way I can feel a nervous tension that tells me I am completely lying to myself in considering this.
If we can accept the notion that living esoterically was once perceived as normal, it takes the fear out of our misunderstanding of the word and opens us up to considering its true meaning once again.
Though the word has been bastardised our inner-most hasn’t, and that is the beauty about truth, it always stays true no matter how hard we try to twist, bend, distort it.
So true, we need the inner-most to be lived in our daily life, as it connects us to our deeper truth within this world where we have lost our true sense of life.
Imagine what our governments would be like if they were to become esoteric?
And the debates would become all Pythagorean where one side supports and adds to what has already been shared.
To add to the discussion when we look up politics and government from Latin;
Politics = movement or coming together to return to the inner-most, which is the esoteric
Government = rudder; management; helm, steering oar of ship; helm of “ship of state”;
So many of us have lost that deep inner connection or rather, we live as if we do, but it is always there, just waiting for us to rediscover our awareness of it. We can feel the tension every day but not necessarily know how to release it and find the inner stillness we all crave.
To know the consequences of our choices long before illness and disease take form is us saying yes to the responsibility that we have to our bodies. And we live in a world where many people don’t want that. But for those who know, for those who have felt the difference when we are responsible – well we already have a responsibility to not live less.
Hear hear and what a loss to humanity indeed. I work in finance and ‘esoteric finance’ is actually a thing – and indeed it’s meaning is the bastardised version of the word. It’s just a reminder to live what I know about the real, true version of the world.
The Livingness is living the connection to our innermost in everything we do in life.
Living with regard to one’s innermost essence is as you say freely available to all. It’s crazy the we persist in making ourselves more ill and spending trillions on healthcare, when the real medicine is with us every moment of the day if we choose to take it.
Such an irony that something we all have within so rarely gets accessed, let alone activated, that it becomes like a hidden knowledge and whoever honours that gets ridiculed and/or attacked. We bastardise truth through our un-true way of living.
‘This ‘knowing’ is not something that is drawn from outside of ourselves, it is something that occurs when we slow down and take the time to connect to what is happening in our bodies.’ yes this is so important, to slow down and connect with our body. The wisdom and guidance that comes from this is vast I am finding as I connect and listen more deeply to what is shown to me by my body. Thank you Helen.
Most of us know that words change over time. I know that in my now life time I have seen meanings of words changed, or more that they can be used in a number of different contexts. They can become trendy to use in particular ways, almost become exclusive, or you use a certain word a certain way. But what happens over time? A word (and many many have) changed beyond recognition, to be the total and complete opposite to what it’s true meaning is, without anyone pulling anyone up for this. As I write this its almost like the ultimate form of bullying and abuse. With the vast silent majority of the populous sitting back knowing that its going on, but ignoring and not caring that it is at the same time. Fortunately not all is lost and we have great teachers over time that are correcting this. I for one am very grateful for Serge Benhayon being very particular with words and being re-intoduced to their true meanings. Quite frankly its the best english lesson ever.
And one of the words whose meaning has been potentially bastardised the most, is the word ‘love’. When most of us use the word ‘love’ there is not an ounce of love in it, not even so much as a trace. In fact the way that we have come to understand and use the word ‘love’ actively ensures that there can be no love in whatever situation we are applying it to. How incredibly destructive a set up is this?
I have come to know that the esoteric is not a secret, it is not reserved for a select few and ‘we certainly don’t need any special qualifications or magical powers as our ‘inner-most’ can’t go anywhere – we were born with it’. And the fact that it is always within us brings up the question – why don’t we all know this? Why has something so innate become something seemingly unattainable, when we all have it equally so?
We have a natural connection to our innermost when we are small but this is generally not honoured nor are we made aware of it and supported to nurture it and allow it to expand. Thank God for Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine for now this is possible and the nurturing of our innermost can resume at any age.
What a huge loss is it to have allowed the meaning of the word ‘esoteric’ to be so corrupted. Restoring its true meaning though is not just about re-instating the correct dictionary definition, it is an innate quality that the more we actively embody, the more its real meaning, value and power comes to life and in doing so, the deeper we will value all that it represents and live in accordance with its truth.
“Apart from the improvements for people living much healthier lives, the reduction in the costs to governments everywhere would be phenomenal. ” I wonder if there will come a time when there are no options to continue our abusive ways as the costs are too high (although in truth they are already too high today) then perhaps we will embrace what we have always had the choice to embrace.
Once we stop reacting to life from our hurts and choose to connect back to the truth of what we feel inside, there is no limit to the wisdom we have access to.
There is an inner most essence within us all, so we are naturally esoteric. Connecting and living from our inner connection is a way of being that connects us all.
“…if we were taught the importance of such a connection from an early age and experienced its ripple effect out to every facet of life, a beautiful foundation for our ‘Livingness’ would be laid, supporting us to grow and fulfill our true purpose and potential.” How glorious that would be and how supportive for stepping into life, and the amount we could then offer others would be huge.
Thank you for bringing back into our consciousness the true meaning of the word Esoteric. Humanity has barstardised so many words that they have lost their true meaning. May be it’s time to rewrite the dictionary to include the truth meaning of words.
“When we are connected to our ‘inner most’ it’s quite extraordinary what we can know about ourselves, those around us, and the world in general” – yes Helen indeed, the inner-most is our internal torch we have that is our barometer, and whenever there is light there is sight to see.
Living from one’s innermost requires being truthful and honest; unfortunately many, many people do not wish to do this as it would upset their comfort. However, unless there is a change to do this the present crisis of the world will only get worse.
“Such a connection offers us a bridge to know much more precisely what is supporting health and wellbeing and what is sabotaging it.”
Helen thank-you for demystifying the esoteric and bring it right back to the common sense that binds us all back to true love.
Great post, telling the truth about the word esoteric. I love this part : ‘ our innermost can’t go anywhere, we were born with it….’ so simple.
I have often shied away from using the word Esoteric in case someone misinterprets it like friends did when I first spoke about it. Yet when we take it back to its origins it is something which is innate within us all. It shows quite how far we as a society have strayed away from that many now fear and worse ridicule the word.
What a beautiful understanding and clarity of the esoteric and the call for us to reunite and reclaim this for ourselves in the world. Inspiring simple and with a real clarity and honesty that makes absolute sense and knowing from within.
It is true, when we connect to our inner-most, we have a clearer view of the world, and things do get exposed.
Living esoterically is powerful. To live what is true or the love and wisdom from our innermost we learn to take responsibility for ourselves in life. We are incredibly powerful… is it this that we are afraid of, the fact that we, every single one of us is all knowing and all we have to do is tap into and connect to our essence through our innermost? Could it be so simple that we just cannot or don’t want to fathom and accept the simplicity with which we can live our lives esoterically? This is something I am certainly pondering on and very gently coming to terms with.
It would be a beautiful world if we could all connect to our innermost, as you have pointed out Helen, for it would solve most of the problems in the world.
Considering living in separation from the innermost, as most people do, is the root source of all the illness, disease and atrocities in the world, living Esoterically is the medicine we all are looking for and is more close to us then we think.
Because we are so invested in the life we have created, we have made the esoteric mysterious and only for the selected few. We have we made something that is natural to us so distant and a place we do not go to while it does have all the answers to the problems we are facing in the world, simply we do enjoy this self created world still to much.
Yes if more and more people would re-discover the true meaning of the esoteric the world would look different – so thank you Helen for not holding back and sharing about the innermost!
We place value on things that can be bartered and sold but overlook what is innate inside us and common to us all. Yet this is the true prize in life we all yearn for.
Yes, valuing our innate essence brings great purpose to our lives.
This bastardisation of words is all part of the systematic reduction of our divine selves that we have been allowing and accepting over the years. Every time words are used in ignorance of their true meaning, they are confirming this false way of being, rather than us being blessed by the true energetic quality that they
offer.
I love how your blog is re-imprinting the true meaning of the word Esoteric, for us all, Helen. As we have allowed ourselves to wander so far from our true selves, creating all sorts of untrue beliefs, ideals and bastardising many words, it’s very supportive to understand the significance of this divine word as we walk our path back to truth.
It is fascinating how polar opposite the meaning of ‘Esoteric’ has become over time, makes you wonder why this has happened … If the true meaning of this word had been upheld, it makes you see that potentially the landscape of human life could look vastly different to how it is now.
There is nothing secret, hidden or mysterious about the esoteric. If it seems ‘veiled’ then it is done so by us turning to the ‘outer’ and relying solely on this, at great expense to that which lives within.
Beautifully expressed Helen. I love the way you have highlighted the absolute importance of valuing the esoteric and the responsibility we all have to live in this connection for our own health of our body and for the health of the community at large.
The word Esoteric has been bastardised for so long and now the true meaning is being revealed and lived by many people globally. Thank you Helen for this amazing blog and it is an honour to know the true meaning of this word and to live it to the best of my ability. Also, through the inspiration of the people at Universal Medicine, I have seen what it looks like and how empowering it is to live an esoteric way of life consistently. It has been an incredible and life changing experience to start connecting to my inner most. Thanks to Universal Medicine and people like you Helen who are sharing the truth about the esoteric and living it every day, and from this, humanity is receiving the true meaning of esoteric through our livingness.
Yes, the esoteric has the power to change the world because energetic integrity and energetic responsibility are key players in the esoteric way of living… these two qualities alone would transform life here on earth.
Not to forget that the true meaning of the word ‘esoteric’ is bastardized (by us) so that we can override and ignore it and continue doing whatever we like to do. The moment we awake and align to our/the esoteric the days of waywardness are counted by our own doing hence why it requires a willingness to stop one´s own waywardness that is considered as free will and therefore valued very highly. Who is willing to give up ‘free will’ by their own ‘free will’?!
Investing in the esoteric means investing in all facets of life simultaneously, because life is a whole and so when we invest in the innermost, the effects radiate out into everything.
It makes sense that the Esoteric is reclaimed for the simplicity of living aligned to our innate wisdom. It is really peculiar and feels very deliberate that it has become shrouded with mystery and suspicion.
When I read your blog, which so simply exposes the bastardisation of the word esoteric, and the effect this has on humanity I can see how this was deliberate and how we have a responsibility to re instate the truth of the word and all it represents.
Makes perfect sense to me. Support the development of our connection to our inner-most which is free, and let it be our guiding light.. Or make it mysterious and seemingly difficult, and lose our moral compass and spend billions and trillions on trying to fix the world.
I remember reading the definition of the word “Esoteric” in the 1980’s and being given an incorrect meaning. If I had of been given the correct definition then I wonder how my life may have changed? I know for myself now that understanding the true meaning of the word “Esoteric” since working with Universal Medicine has completely changed my life. I can also confirm it’s something innate and not new as there have been periods in my life when I have lived esoterically, and it’s definitely a very natural part of being human. Not having the true meaning of the word “Esoteric” is like a human rights issue as we have a basic right to know this most innate and beautiful way to connect to our innermost essence and live from our soul.
What Pythagoras taught in those days is as relevant today as it will ever be as our innermost is unchanging. What was brought out from within and into life by the students and community in the times of Pythagoras, can equally be brought out and lived in our communities today.
This is an interesting article, and very important in bringing back out again in to the world what the original true meaning of the word Esoteric actually is. Although, in as much as this is important to do, I also get the sense that due to the nature of what the Esoteric stands for, each person will be on their own journey with this essential essence – regardless of the words that we use and manipulate over time. The fact of the essence, and hence of the soul is here always.
Wow, I can see why there has been a bastardisation of the word – because it holds so much personal responsibility and it would change so much about the way we live. Whole industries would fall over if we were more discerning about the impact of our choices on our bodies.
Yes I agree Lucy. It has the potential to change the world if humanity truly understands, accepts and lives connected to our inner-most.
That is so true Lucy, imagine how much the food and drink industries would have to change and how small our supermarkets could be once we took out all the stuff that we didn’t need.
Beautifully said Lucy – when we change the meaning of a word, then we no longer have to live up to what we know is naturally our role and responsibility, but as we know this only leads to delaying the inevitable of having to one day face up to the mess we have then allowed.
We bastardise words, make it about “semantics” all in all to avoid the truth of the heart we feel so deeply in our hearts.
Yes.. the billions of dollars spent on looking for answers in all the wrong places, when we have access to all the wisdom we could ever need, just by creating space and looking within. It’s not special or mysterious, weird or superstition, just simple common sense- i.e. wisdom that we all have equal access to, through our senses.
The irony is that the esoteric (the inner-most) is the best we have by any measure. Why would humans like to ignore that this exists and even twist it to become at least in language something weird, something to be turned down by?
The esoteric is the uninterrupted and incorruptible innermost of us all. It is a constantnesss that exists no matter what.
In our world of creation we simply expect that things are corrupted because in this creation it is a common trait. From this experience and of this thinking we expect our innermost to be subject to the same law, but it is not because it is from another order and as you so beautifully said, incorruptible, no matter what.
Nico as I read your comment, I also felt how incorruptible God is and in that moment got to glimpse for the briefest of moments His absolute magnitude and magnificence.
Yes, Alexis, our innermost is incorruptible and eternal so we have to work really hard to cut ourselves off from the divine love we naturally are.
and we do Janet, our dedication to not feeling our own innate divinity is nothing short of masterful. If we applied that same dedication to actually feeling our own innate divinity then we would all be masters, not only of life on Earth but of life everywhere. Which, when you consider how most of us can’t even master our own lives, demonstrates beyond doubt, just how dedicated we are to not acknowledging who we know ourselves to be.
Absolutely and this in itself show us the path of return which is surrendering to what is already there, or in other words, ceasing the hard work that keeps us disconnected from it.
Saying Yes to the esoteric – the power and connection within us – will give us a true settlement in our body. As we are finally letting the body speak instead of our mind, that always wants to sit in the drivers seat and dominate our movements and abuse us by putting us into time instead of space, which is the bodies universal knowing and true power.
Helen what your article highlights to me is that the esoteric is the one ingredient that has the power to bring valuable change to all areas of our lives. Hear, hear to heeding your call to bring it into our lives.
It is an incredible injustice to all of humanity when words have been manipulated or bastardised in a way that they lose there original meaning. All one has to do is look at our current legal system and you can see thousands of examples where even the slightest of subjective views on the meaning of certain words in a legal document make the difference between someone being convicted or not of a crime or being responsible for a monetary fine. This blog does a huge service in bringing to light the true meaning of the esoteric, which is something that is immutable and an essence that we ALL can connect to in a way that brings great understanding and awareness into our lives, thus contributing to greater health and more harmony in our relationships, especially with our own bodies.
Yes we at the moment completely out-source the responsibility for our health to hospitals, doctors, nurses and so on yet we are the ones in our body and gave the original knowing of what is going on in our bodies. The esoteric is just that our inner knowing we need to know what is true for our bodies and what not. It just makes sense that it is inside of us and not outside of ourselves.
Yes it does need to be understood from birth so that we can take more responsibility for our lives, for our health, with the full understanding of what life is actually about and fully able to feel deep within what is going on in the world outside.
The esoteric brings such simple truths and healing to that which our body is clearly telling us is not true and goes against everything it and we know to be true. Yet there is a part of us, the spirit that knows the world is a mess but doesn’t care, because it wants the world to be a mess. It can be affronting to the arrogance in the mind and feel pretty yuk in the body to feel this lack of care and avoidance of the simplicity of our essence but it is much needed if we want to clean it all up.
Our connection to our bodies provides us with extraordinary wisdom that guides us through life in the very ordinary aspects, yet supports us to deepen our awareness on many levels of all these aspects of life.
In connection with our inner-most, the esoteric, everything that is needed is instantly known.
Yes Gabriele, I’m learning to know and trust that place – my inner-most – more and more every day!
And it can be lived.
Absolutely Gabriele. I wonder if this is why the true meaning of esoteric has been concealed from humanity because it empowers people once we reconnect and live it, and is it possible that there is a force that is driving our world currently that does not want people to live in their power?
Thanks, Helen, it makes perfect sense to me, the innermost wisdom of us all in conjunction with western medicine of course. Isn’t it interesting the dictionary description of “hidden, secretive, exclusive”? which defiantly sounds like a good bit of propaganda from the witch hunters of the time from the inquisition and dark ages. Strangely no different from other times of branding, naming and bastardising of true wisdom through history.
It is no wonder that the esoteric has been bastardised as it has been as in it’s true meaning does ask us to be more honest and responsible about the quality of the way we are choosing to live. Most of humanity does not want to live this level of responsibility.
Very true Joshua.
Great point Joshua, and when I look around, our world is functioning with a great deal of irresponsibility and it is crumbling due to our choice to do so. Therefore, I feel the esoteric is the way to support humanity to understand that taking responsibility and reconnecting to our inner-most is our way to evolve out of this mess we have gotten ourselves into.
Living in an esoteric way where I am connected to and live from my innermost, compared to living in disconnection from this innate part of myself, is like living in the light after existing in the shadows for a very long time. I wasn’t existing in total darkness, totally disconnected from the esoteric, as there were many moments in my life where I would experience the most wisest insights and I would briefly step out of the shadows. But it wasn’t until I was presented about the truth of the esoteric by Serge Benhayon that I began to understand all those moments, moments that are now a normal part of my life.
So true, Ingrid – I also dismissed for years the messages I would receive from my inner being, but not any more – I now know that the wisdom that flows from that beautiful place is the ‘real deal’.
It’s the difference between living a life that honours the truth of who we are, that supports us to expand our awareness, understanding, appreciation and be forever deepening our relationship with our selves and everyone else versus living a life where we are conditioned to ‘think’ we need to be a certain way in this life, which, because it isn’t true, always leaves us searching for more, for the missing piece of the puzzle – our inner most.
Helen I love what you share here, so often we value what is outside of us – what we are told – and don’t hold value to the knowing feeling we have inside. My life has changed as I more and more listen to and respond to that inner knowing. As you say “When we are connected to our ‘inner most’ it’s quite extraordinary what we can know about ourselves, those around us, and the world in general.”
Pythagoras was a fantastic world teacher who supported many in their evolutionary process. One wonders why his teachings have been ignored apart from the mathematical formulas he is now famous for.
This is a travesty all right, the only thing I knew about Pythagoras growing up was the button on the calculator to get the area of a circle. This came in very handy but imagine how different our lives would be now if we had all his other teachings from a young age.
Yes so true. Another example of how we reduce the wisdom given to us so we can say we don’t know what we do – ‘ignorance is bliss’ but it doesn’t serve us.
If we don’t know about something we will not know the truth! For example growing up I never knew about the word esoteric, it was only until I met Universal Medicine I started to hear this word more and get to know the true meaning of it, which indeed there is absolutely nothing secret about the esoteric as you have shared it means our inner core/essence which every single one of us have, because it is within us! So I am wondering not so much about why we do not hear about the word esoteric on a day to day level or why it has been bastardised like so many others words have but more so why have we moved so very far away from ourselves that we are not connected with and living from our inner most, inner essence.
As children we are very aware of our inner-most, the tragedy is that we very quickly learn to give our power away to the outside world to such an extent that we can have a situation in the world where our inner-most is questioned as to its very existence.
Superb article Helen that not only sets the record straight about the word ‘esoteric’, what also states quite clearly what outcomes can be achieved if we were to correctly re-instate this integrity of this word into everyday life.
A gorgeous claiming of the liberation that is required of the word ‘esoteric’. It is NOT only for the select few, it is within everyone.
Absolutely Rebecca, esoteric is in everyone and it is the opposite of exclusive and secretive. This makes me wonder how many more words in our vocabulary have been bastardised to keep humanity in the dark?
We are born with our inner most essence, it is fully known to us, no secret, no mystery, it is forever there, all we can do is shut down our awareness to its presence, and then watch life take over, convincing ourselves that we have to be a certain way, that is inevitably not the life that reflects the truth we hold within.
Thank you Helen for presenting here the true meaning of the word ‘esoteric’ and how opposite that is to what is presented in most current dictionaries. Corrupting the truth of a word can have a very far-reaching and divisive impact.
A beautiful clarification of what the word ‘Esoteric’ really means, thank you for sharing!
Indeed Helen, ‘let’s reignite the fire within us’ and bring the truth we all know to the world.
The bastardisation of the meaning of esoteric has been to the great detriment of humanity and disconnection of ourselves from our true nature.
And thank God for Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine for bringing truth back to this word and to the world. I am meeting more and more people who are choosing to live from their inner-most and open to sharing truth and love with humanity.
So true chanly88 the ripples of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine have opened the gates of truth to humanity.
jstewart51 I agree I always had a totally different view of the word Esoteric before coming to Universal Medicine than I do today.
Yes, Helen, it makes no sense that our natural and innate wisdom is shutdown in favour of outer ideals and beliefs, that keep us in comparison and competition with one another rather than supporting each other to evolve.
When we connect to our inner-most it is natural to support each other, to connect with everyone and work and live in harmony. It is incredibly powerful to live an esoteric way of life as it supports us to evolve and supports us to feel empowered to change our current state of the world from disharmony to harmony.
When we are honest about the harm we cause ourselves and one another by looking outside of ourselves rather than looking within it makes no sense not to live from within.
