Relationships, Me and God

Relationships had never been my strong point. I had them, was in them, did not need them, but still managed to end up in them.

They were unavoidable… relationships were and are everywhere. We have relationships with everyone we meet: big, small, long term or short, we are all in one in one way or another. Continue reading “Relationships, Me and God”

Of Gods… and Un-Gods

…“Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.” (1)…

1962… somewhere in England… and school assembly draws to a close… With these stout comforting words echoing in our heads, our day begins in the knowledge that Out There somewhere, a rather stern but gentle and supremely benevolent man, (whose appearance resembles a Victorian Patriarch complete with flowing white beard), watches over us with care, concern and ineffable love while we trudge off to double maths on a dreary, grey, drizzly Thursday morning. The Magnificence of GOD and The Mock Lock

I went on a walk with my friend early this morning, in an area unknown to me. She led the way to a lake and surrounding fenced park and walked towards a padlocked, rather narrow and very ordinary tall gate, which looked more like a rusty old doorway into someone’s backyard than the entry to a public park. The Beholding Love of Symbolism

In a world of energy, anything is possible, and one of the magical aspects of life that I just adore and inspires me no end is the language of symbolism – the messages that are reflected to bring more understanding to life and to show me that we are first and foremost divine and heavenly, and not just this human flesh living a human existence. We are connected to something magnificent and grand that connects us all together, no matter where in the world we live. Continue reading “The Beholding Love of Symbolism”
