From Spiritual Addiction to Simple Truth

My whole life I have been searching for Truth. I always knew my life and the whole world just made no sense.

Here is a laser update…

20’s I got into the spiritual stuff as religion was not for me. I was brought up Hindu, done a bit of Buddhist, Christianity, Catholic Church going and even visited monasteries. It was to find some kind of inner peace to my awful life that I had created.

30’s – I lived a wreckless life, trashing my body through food and alcohol and making lots of money and spending it faster than it came in.

Early 40’s – Still doing the spiritual new age stuff but with serious spending. I sold my house to pay for a £30,000 life mastery course and many other spiritual pursuits including another course that cost £35,000. My goal was to get the certificate at the end and then move on to another workshop or course that was going to “heal me and then others”.

Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine – Changing a Culture of Blame

In 2005, my wife – Bina Pattel was introduced to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.

Up until this point she had done over 15 years in spiritual new age modalities and she always felt there was something missing from these groups. She tried to get me into it but I was very resistant. I eventually went along to one of the workshops but never felt it was for me.

When my wife started doing the Universal Medicine workshops and courses, I thought it was just another modality. Initially when she started doing the workshops she was faced with looking at a lot of her past choices and this was very challenging for her, but she stayed committed to herself and after 2 years I felt so inspired by the changes she had made in her life which had a direct effect on our relationship – I attended my first course. A Choice to Heal by Choosing Love

I’d like to share some experiences I’ve recently had that I feel were made possible by applying some principles that I have learned through my participation in Universal Medicine workshops and Esoteric Healing sessions. The main point being that our lives are greatly the result of the choices we make in every moment, and that if those choices are loving ones, we can heal patterns that may otherwise repeat themselves in order to show us where attention is needed. Esoteric Women’s Group: Supporting Each Other to Build Foundations

The Esoteric Women’s Group (EWG) presentations have introduced a greater focus of self-care to my life. Over the years, this simple approach has meant I have been presented with some beautiful opportunities to change some of my old patterns which had left me exhausted and resentful, more often than not.

What has been shared in those groups were things I had started to connect to myself, but hadn’t realised their importance. Things like being tender with myself, noticing the roles I take on automatically, my monthly cycle and giving myself permission to pay close attention to all of it – even what my bra feels like to wear and how I set up my cupboards and drawers. None of the presentations were instructional; Natalie Benhayon simply shared how she lived. It was an opportunity to question the ‘norm’. The Men in Black Choir: A True Expression

Wow!

That was one of my first thoughts when the Men in Black went on stage to start singing for the Universal Medicine end of year celebration in December 2012. But what I felt when this happened was so much more than those three letters can begin to describe.  I have never had so much fun watching grown men on stage! And, it was a choir. When I think back, it puts a big smile on my face. I would have loved to have seen the decision making process for these men when they actually made the choice to get together and be a part of a choir for everyone to enjoy. Making this decision to stand on stage and sing so openly to a crowd would take a lot of courage and strength within oneself.

How Grand is our Universe?

I attended Universal Medicine’s final Esoteric Developer’s Group (EDG) for 2012, along with 300 other people.

Serge Benhayon was enjoying himself… relaxed, having fun and very excited about 170 billion galaxies. What was I going to learn about today?

Every time Serge Benhayon presents at the EDG, or sometimes when other people are asked to present, I get to learn something that I would never have had the opportunity to if these presentations did not happen. Universal Medicine practitioners, as well as many student members who live their lives all over the world, often present either with Serge, or in addition to his presentations at these EDG events.
